Love it!
I normally don't buy tight gym clothing. I am 5'4", 128 pounds, athletic build, however I have cellulite and a lot of the tight shorts still show lumps and bumps through the material. I gave this one a shot due to the reviews and I'm glad I did! The material is thicker (but not hot) and smooths out my lumps!! I don't feel self conscious wearing them at all. They are so comfy and soft. They do ride up just a little when doing high intensity training (I use them for Insanity), but not bad enough to complain about it. I bought a medium and they fit perfectly. I'm going to get another pair!

Great for kicking and stretching
I got these shorts because as much as I like my "running shorts" for days when I do cardio (about 8 miles), the wide legs are too revealing when I stretch afterwards. So I got these shorts and they fit great, don't chafe and aren't too revealing. I got the XS and I'm an athletic 5'0 106 lbs with 33.5" hips and 25.5" waist. The shorts are snug and smooth but not compresive or binding. A good fit!

This is my second pair of Kickbooty Yoga Shorts. I use them for yoga and gym workouts. Very comfortable. I also own the Kickbooty capris and pant. I use them for all my gym workouts/classes. I always get compliments on how good they look. I am 5'4", 130 lbs., athletic build and the medium fits perfect.

Awesome Shorts
I love these shorts, they are so comfortable. I wear them to spin class, do yoga in them and circuit training. I usually buy a M from Athleta, but for some reason I decided to buy a L--big mistake. They are too big and I have to exchange for a M. I am 5'7 , 150 pounds with very athletic (large) thighs.

Great shorts. I am 5'2 116 with an athletic frame and the small fit me perfectly. I wear these shorts to bootcamp, zumba, and weight training. I loved them so much I ordered two of every color.

Great yoga shorts!
I really wanted the kickbooty capris to wear to yoga during the warmer months, but they're on backorder until the end of summer. I was super hesitant to try these shorts because I'm 5'9, 150 lbs, with big hips and thighs and a butt that's definitely not my favorite part of my body. I was afraid that I'd look stuffed into these shorts, or that they'd be too revealing for all of the bending that goes on in yoga. As soon as I put them on though, I knew they'd be great. Don't get me wrong.. I still don't look like the super athletic models in the photos, but the fabric is thick and stretchy enough to shape pretty well(and it's soft too.. they feel cotton y instead of like typical stretchy workout wear). I got the size M and they hit about an inch and a half below my navel, flattening the tiny bit of tummy I have and not giving me muffin top at all. They are fairly short(not even mid thigh) but they're definitely long enough that I feel comfortable on my 3/4 mile walk to the studio and I don't feel like I'm wearing booty shorts. I haven't noticed any sweat show through, and they definitely stay dry. I've only worn them twice so far but they seem well made.. we'll see how they hold up. I got them in asphalt, which might be just a little lighter than it looks in the photo, and now I want a black or pink pair as well.

AWESOME shorts!
I love this ... purchased the Vata shorts a few weeks ago, and was actually trying to purchase more of those (love them too), and it seems Athleta is either out or no longer selling them (which I hope they get them back). So, I decided to try these too. I love them! They are not too ... too long, and they do not ride up. They do make your backside look great! I am 5'5", 125 pounds with an athletic build. I ordered a size small, and they are perfect! Thanks again Athleta for another great product!

Cute, Comfy but wish they were longer
I have a curvy, athletic body. 5.4" 130 lbs. The medium fit great. I just wish they were 1/2 an inch to an inch longer.

These shorts are very comfortable. I am 5'6 and an athletic build. I ordered the small but felt they were not quite tight enough and thought after wearing and washing them each week they would start to loosen more. I exchanged them fot the XS and they fit great. I wear them to the gym for cardio and weight training and love them.

Good quality shorts, but a little expensive.
I'm 5'5", 112lbs and I got these in a size XS. They fit perfectly and they are comfortable. I got them using a discount code and some reward points, but otherwise I probably wouldn't have purchased them. The quality is good and they are cute, but I have very similar shorts from other athletic manufacturers that are just as good and cost 1/2 as much.

Nice shorts for working out
These are great shorts for working out, running or yoga. I've worn mine for all three, and I am pleased with them. They do roll up a little in the legs, but I have determined this is to be expected with "athletic" legs as all tight/legging type shorts seem to do it. I am 5'9" with a 27" waist and the smalls fit perfectly. These are a nice length, not to ... not too long.

Best ... Have Ever Worn
I thought these ... were so cute when I saw them, but the fit is wonderful. I have a hard time finding athletic ... work for me. I am 5 ft. 1 in., 138 lbs., and bought them in a medium. I have a small waist and a bigger rear end and hip area, but these fit great. I can run in them without them riding up in between my thighs. And I have plenty of room through the hips. They actually make me look slimmer. I have ordered three more pairs in different colors.

Comfortable and no chafing!
Decided to get these to wear with my running tights and I really like them. I didn't notice them at all when I was running which is a good thing... no bunching or chafing anywhere. The material is soft and comfortable and the ... have the built in panty, but it worked fine with the running tights. I'm 5'5", 115lbs with a slim, athletic build and I ordered the XS. They fit well and no complaints. I've just ordered another pair in a different color and I'm going to try the 2-in-1 Hana with the built in compression ... well.

so comfortable
I love these ... likely purchase more in different colors. The material is so light and airy and comfortable. I never once paid attention to the ... during my workout, unlike a lot of athletic wear that distracts for one reason or another. They were fine in both the washer and dryer. Highly recommend.

Best athletic ... EVER!!!
I'm tall 5'9 1/2". I have an athletic build but smaller bone structure. I don't like anything that squeezes around my hips and these ... don't. I want to buy a pair in every color but alas, I don't have that kinda $ to burn so I'll be VERY happy with these ... got the blue and love the color! The inner ... wears so well I don't even have to wear undies, which eliminates any unnecesary sqeezing or lines that those can cause. I highly recomend these ...

Finally found the ONE!!
I'm 5' 9" 1/2. Petite frame but muscular. So I'm a very athletic girl who plaid volleyball and now swim, just added running so I have muscular legs so if ... sqeeze at all around my thigh area I tend to get a "thunder thigh" affect. I could live in the Hannah run ... EVERY other pair of run ... I've tried adidas, nike etc. it doesn't matter! They ALL ride up, sit too low and make me look even taller(not in a good way) than I already am. Other brands are made too ... hug just enough around my upper thighs that cause me to have a thunder thigh look. At least to me they do and since I'm the one wearing them, that's who matters! The Hannah run ... sooooooo comfortable! No riding up, inner ... fits well, they don't do any hugging and move wonderfully. There is no sqeezing around the waist. The color is very light blue but looks great!! I hope Athleta doesn't change these short(except the tie around waist. Just not needed.)

Believe the Hype
Amazing ... They run a size big. I usually wear large bottoms in Athleta and size 10 or 12 jeans but ordered mediums when I read the reviews. So much better than the usual big name run ... which always fit like a diaper! The liner fits really well. Im athletic but I have serious junk in the trunk, and these are the best I have tried!

Love.
I am 30 years old, 5'4" and around 135. I have an athletic build from lifting weights and am currently training for a marathon. I saw these ... model and said, "I would love to look like her"...so I ordered them in the deep purple color and I couldn't be more in love. They are wonderful. The length is perfect, they don't ride up, look great and well worth the money! Thanks Athleta!

Finally, a decent running ...
I admit, I'm not the size 4, 110lb typical athletic clothes connoisseur, but I do like to run and I live in a hot humid environment so require performance peices in my wardrobe. I'm squash shaped (wider than average in the waist but not an apple). When I purchased these ... could say "Finally a pair a ... not made to fit Barbie (or Skipper)!" I'll be keeping both pairs I ordered - cute, comfortable, light, and dries quickly. Pefect for Okinawa summers!

My new Favorite running ...
I love running, and I love these ... purchased a large in the grey. I am a 6ft tall, 170lbs mother of two, athletic build with hips and a butt. The large fits great. Material is super soft. Great for sensitive skin. The inseam was long enough for me for running, but I always use Bodyglide to prevent skin chafing on my thighs. Best thing about these ... Fantastic at moisture wicking. I took them on a nile mile run, and they kept me nice and dry. Which is saying a lot, because I sweat a lot. My one complaint would be that the brief rides up a little on me.

Cute
I am 5' , sz 0-2, athletic build (curvy) and the XS fits well. The waist is adjustable if needed. The length is good. These fit a little bigger on me than some of Athleta's run ... but I would not size down. Comfortable overall fit and the fabric is light.

Cute Everyday ...
These are my new favorite everyday wear ... think they'd also work for yoga or gym but they seem too cute for that! They're great paired with a T and flip flops for casual wear around town or on vacation. The lack of zipper/waist band makes them more comfortable for car rides or other prolonged activities. And they're sporty enough to transition to hiking or something else more active if it comes up during the day. The fit is as expected. I have a medium and am 5'7", 127# with an athletic build.

Comfortable and Stylish
The Fusion Bermuda could be used for just about everything! I wore them to work around the house, and I paired them with a cute halter top to go to the art museum. They are super stretchy and would work great for yoga/gym/running/hiking...everything! Also good for around town bike riding. I'm impressed! I'm 5"8", athletic size 4, and the size small is perfect for me.

OMG! I absolutely love the Fusion Bermudas! I have not worn the item to exercise, yoga or ride in...I have used them for everyday! These ... very flattering and fit extremely well. I am 5'6" and weigh 128. I usually wear a size 6 on the bottom and the medium Fusion fits great. It is not too tight or too loose. I love how this ... sits low on my waist and the above the knee length is perfect. I can dress these up or down and the view from the backside is great...those pockets on the rear really add a touch and enhance the booty. I exercise daily and have an athletic build. My legs are a bit thicker and I have muscle tone...no stick legs here...and I love the loose fit of these ... my thighs. I can see how these ... would not look so good on a gal with skinny legs as it would be baggy. Just try them...order your normal size and go from there. I would love for the price to be lower but I will wear these ... until they wear out! I am thinking about getting the shorter version for bosu/bench/circuit classes as those have a 5" inseam! You will LOVE the Fusion!!

I ordered the small in ... Usually go with a medium in an ... because I like a looser fit as a soccer player/ coach. Wasn't sure if I would like the liner, but it doesn't bother me at all. Will order more.

We like ...
Its like wearing a tennis skirt with the built in spandex, but ... instead. ... mid thigh. I am 5'3 /124. I took a small. Daughter is 5'6 /144 -athletic build and medium fit her well.

Easy to Wear
... exactly what I have been searching for! ... do run a little large, I typically wear M in Nike running ... though wear a S in the Athleta relay capri (another favorite). I am 5'7" 130 athletic build and find size S perfect for running, training and lifting. The liner is perfect for gym workouts so I don't expose to wondering eyes, it does creep a bit up a bit, but never uncomfortable. The rise is a good length, not low cut yet not granny style. And the material is substantial, but lightweight and doesn't show sweat marks. Thanks Athleta!

Great ...
Love the ... very comfortable while playing softball and running. Very cool too, didn't sweat in them as much as my other athletic ... I'm 5'6", about 150 lbs and a medium fits well.

Works for me!
I bought XL first, but the inner ... rides up. The L is perfect. Tugging ... while running is very annoying, so the L is much better. I'm 52 years old, 5'11", 180, athletic build. I love the white color. Darker colors get ovenlike when the sun shines. At a 10K last month, I wore black presto ... green tee, and at 90 & sunny, I was roasting... ... white ... & light colored cotton tee shirt will be perfect for summer runs, which is most of the year in Austin. Another pocket for a tissue would be spectacular. I may get the grey for indoor workouts (I do Crossfit). The white wouldn't do if I have to get on the floor for anything. If the presto ... came in white or light grey, That would be even better.

Ultimate Favourite ...
I love ... fit my frame perfectly. I am 5"8" 145 pounds with an athletic build. My hips are 40" and I ordered a medium. I wear them running, kayaking, when I am doing yoga, martial arts boot camp, and hiking. ... don't get sweaty even when I work out outside in the high humidity of Tennessee in the middle of the day. ... very soft and the liner doesn't really ride up. The ... grey with a white piping that looks really sharp and I think it makes my legs look smaller. The mesh liner is white but you rarely see it. It has a small pocket on the front inside that is big enough for a credit card but not my iphone. I am ordering a couple more pairs for the rest of the summer.

Love ...
I love ... ! Long enough to still look athletic and not frumpy. The compression pants inside feel wonderful. I know own 3 pair and would have more if all the sizes weren't already sold out. Need to replenish sizes and maybe even some additional colors? I would love to have a pair for every day. I run and have had no problem with the liner riding up as in another post. I also wear ... during my weight workouts in the gym and never feel "over exposed" when doing exercises with my booty in the air !

Love ... Great for running
... far my favorite running ... mid thigh length is perfect since I am a little self conscious about revealing too much leg. ... light weight and flattering. I am 5' 9" and 145 pounds, pretty athletic on the bottom half of my body and got the medium which is perfect.

Great Idea for ... careful on size
I am 5'6" and weigh 145 and am pretty muscular ... type. The size medium were too fitted for me through the rear. ... fit but were too fitted for me for the gym. I like things to hang a bit looser. I usually wear a 10 to sometimes even 12 if ... fit better so I had to return the Mediums for a large...still waiting for those!! Hope this helps!

The built in underwear was too long so felt like too much for an ... returned it.

These shorts are perfect. Purchased the electric purple, size 6. I have an athletic build 5'8" 145 lbs, and the 6 fit PERFECTLY. I recently wore them at a water park/aquarium in Mexico. They were perfect from lunch to snorkeling to walking around on trails. They were a little "sticky" when I first got out of the water, but they are lightweight and dried quickly. I seriously want one in every color for fishing and camping and chasing kids around the yard this summer. LOVE the shorts. Kinda hate the price, but they seem like they will last a long time.

I love these shorts. They are so comfortable and they look great with a tshirt or tank. Super light weight as well. I am 5'6 with an athletic build. Size 4 was perfect!

my favorite summer shorts
I have these in several colors and they are my go to shorts for our hot, humid summers! I hate the drawstring, so I just pull it out and they fit just fine without it. I'm 5'5" 135 lbs with an athletic build. I ordered the size 4 and they fit great! They are great for travel because you can wash them out in the sink and they dry overnight.

The Perfect Pair of Shorts!
I love these shorts!! They fit exactly the way I wanted them to. The material has a bit of stretch to them and I love the pocket styling. These ... definitely great for the beach/pool over your bathing suit. I wouldn't consider them athletic shorts - I wouldn't where to the gym or go running in them. They are nice because you can wear in the water and they dry very fast (faster than my bathing suit).

Great Fit!
These are very light weight, great to throw on after the beach! They are a bit on the shorter side but I knew that from reading other reviews. These are definitely not for someone looking to be more on the modest side. I am 5'7 155lb athletic build and I went with an 8 in the black.

Great for swim shorts
I purchased these as swim shorts / cover up shorts. I am self conscious about my butt, and prefer swim shorts now that I am "older". These will make perfect swim shorts as they are a nice, light, and comfortable fabric with a bit of "give" to them and they will dry quickly. I am 5' 9" and 170#, 42" butt. The size 14 is a good fit for me. I just wish that Athleta had an option somewhere between the 4" inseam and the "Bermuda" option of these Breeze shorts which has a 12" inseam. A 6"-7" inch length would be so wonderful for those of us who want a bit longer length but don't want the almost to your kneecap length. Overall I am happy with them and they will certainly provide more coverage than a mere swimsuit bottom.

The perfect pair of shorts for ... athletic women
I am 52 years old, 5'1", athletic, 130 lbs but muscular. I fit into a size 2. I read through the reviews and saw the trend of these shorts running on the large side. I usually take a 4, and these size 2's fit me like a 4 so take heed! These shorts are nothing but flattering even for a woman of my age. Most shorts are either too ... too long. I want to show off my legs but not hang out of my shorts, and these do the trick. You do have to have a rather flat behind, however, so be forewarned. I wish the other colors were available in my size!

Great shorts
I ordered one pair in orange and liked them so much I ordered another in black. I went with size 4 based on other reviews and they fit perfectly, I'm 5'4" 130 athletic build. These shorts are very lightweight and just seemed to fit well both in the hips and waist, no gaping in the back. I can't wait for the weather to get nicer so I can wear all the time. However, it would be nice to see them go on sale, I do think the price is a bit steep.

Finally, shorts that fit!
Have trouble finding shorts that fit well that are not all stretch; needed something for when I am not teaching fitness, training outside on the bike or running, REAL clothes! Junior sizes too ... tight; not age appropriate, women's, too large! These will work well, ordered the bermuda length also. Love that Athleta caters to an athletic women's body type, which is not the norm in the stores.

Great Shorts!
I saw these shorts in one of the promo emails I received from Athleta. It promised that these are one of the most popular items. So, I decided to give them a try. I needed a pair of functional shorts that I can wear when setting up races for a local running club. The material is awesome - deceptively thin but very durable. Also, sometimes thinner fabrics can make you feel indecent but this is NOT the case with these shorts. The pockets with zippers are very useful. I needed these pockets to stash various must have items during race day set up/load out. Last, these shorts dry so quickly. Another plus when working in hot weather. Bottom line, I can see why these shorts are so popular - they deliver comfort, style, functionality, durability and can be worn for both work and play.

Great, versatile ...
Love the pants, love the ... Great versatile ... Works for travel, paddling, playing with the kids, pretty much anything. Stays cool, dries quickly when wet. Love the internal drawstring to get a perfect fit at the waist without having to wear a belt. Great for athletic bodies with thighs. Size two fits 27" waist, 36 hips, 5'5" 112 pounds. Only little thing I don't like is the snap on the back belt loop. Cute, but when you lie down on it - ouch.

Best ... have ever owned!
These are the best ... have ever ownded. I am 5'10 with an athletic body (and booty!). and these fit perfectly. Whenever I wear them, I get asked where ... from...the colors are amazing, I have four different ones and love them all. ... perfect for the golf outings I have to attend for work too! ... dry fast, never stick to you when it's hot, and flatter almost any body, as I have some friends with them as well and we are all different shapes!

So Comfortable
I absolutely love these ... They have a little stretch in the fabric which I am a big fan of, yet they hold their shape. As with lots of Athleta stuff you can tell they are very well made. I order another color because I just love the fit. The length is right in the middle, not shorty ... but not burmudas either which is perfect for me because I am 5'4' and burmudas can sometimes overpower me, and shorty ... too ... someone in their 40's. I highly recommend these. I am 5'4' and weigh 130 and have a very athletic build. The size 6 fit perfect.

Love these ...
I have been looking for ... fit well and aren't shorty ... booty ... long bermudas for over a year! These 5" dippers are the perfect in between length - hitting low enough on the leg that they don't ride up when walking. The back yoke is very flattering and the tie waist is nice so you can adjust it to fit your frame perfectly. I am 5'4" - (154lbs) with athletic legs and bum. I am usually a size 8 but ordered up a size based on prior reviews and that was perfect! I ordered them in both asphalt and the fieldstone, but weirdly the fieldstone were marked size 10, but must have been a size 8 because the width of the ... good 1/2 inch smaller - they still fit, but were a bit tighter than I wanted my ... Am waiting for the replacement ones - hopefully they will be manufactured correctly this time.

An awesome everyday ...
The ... fit me perfectly. I initially ordered the 2 but needed the 0. I am 5'4" and 117 lbs with an athletic build. The 0 fits me to a T and looks great. Perfect length and nice fabric. I just ordered a 3rd pair.

Wonderful ...
I have been trying for the past 2 years to find a pair of ... fit me and the 5" dippers are finally it! ... NEVER fit me right (I am small framed, athletic build, 5'2" and 104 lbs.) but the size 0 in these fit me perfectly and are very flattering. The material is very cool in hot weather and doesn't cling to sweaty skin or wrinkle like cotton does. The buttons and silver buckle in back add to the style and the hjidden drawstring in the waist makes for a perfect fit. I took these on a trip recently and ... were easy to wash out in the sink and dried quickly. The quick drying time also makes them nice for playing at the beach. I ordered these in the greenish tan and really like the color, very easy to mix and match. These are a keeper!

Dipper ... - great for hiking
I bought the dipper ... hiking tiip. I own the pants and also the 9 inch dipper. These 5 inch ... great alternative for hotter days on the trail. The fabric is stretchy so it allows good movement without binding. The rise is a little higher than I usually like...but it's nice when you're carrying a pack with a waist belt because the waist of the ... fits nicely above the pack belt. I'm 5 ft 3, 120 pounds, athletic thighs, and the size 4 fits perfectly.

Great, high quality ...
I had these ... size 2 a few years ago. ... fit snug in the butt and seemed a bit ... rise (kinda rode up on me.) I gave them to a friend and recently ordered a size 4. ... were big on me - quite loose especially in the waist. So I ordered a size 2 again. ... fit perfect. It seems ... changed the design somewhat so now ... don't crawl up my backside at all. ... bit roomier than the old size 2 was. Love the fabric. It never stretches out or wrinkles. I am 5'6" and an athletic 120 lbs.

My 2nd pair
Love these ... - athletic and best for hiking or walking, right length and fit is very nice.. just a tad big in the waist, but otherwise perfect for me... muscular, 5'7" and 135 pounds, bought a size 6.

Close to perfect
I have an awful time finding ... but these are almost perfect for me. I am 5'5'', 127lbs, athletic build but also a bit curvy. Basically finding ... not too long, not too ... not baggy in the waist, AND not weirdly tight in the butt is a nearly impossible task. I am between a size 4 and 6 depending on the cut and got the 6. ... little loose,but not sloppy, and the internal drawstring cinches up the waist just enough.

Good investment!
I was nervous about these ... because they seemed a little long for me - being about 5'2 and an athletic size 0. But, I tried them on and loved them - they did not look boyish or boxy. They're so comfortable and practical for family visits or day trips that can lead to unexpected hikes or activities. I love these ...
I have two kickit skirts, and wanted to try the ... They were on sale, so I thought I would get a pair. I am so glad I did! They fit nice and the color (purple) is vibrant and fun too! I am 5'4" and 150lbs with an athletic build and the size 10 fits perfectly.

LOVE these shorts. They are cute and comfy in a contemporary fit. Great feminine details. Thanks Athleta for making women's clothing hip, cute and durable---stuff I can actually wear in my busy, highly active, athletic lifestyle, without being trampy teenage-wear, made to just stand around in, "looking pretty." These shorts really balance out a fitted top, or strappy tank, so that I am not showing so much skin.

Superb Fit & Comfort
These ... fit as expected. I have an athletic build, 5'4 and probably 125. The fabric is slightly thick for a summer ... but it will work! I love them! I love that they are organic and not made in [*]!

Perfect for some one like me: athletic with curves. There is plenty of room in the back and still has a nice lower rise in the front. LOVE them!!!

Nice pair of shorts
Overall, I am pleased with these shorts. They are very sturdy, but have enough stretch material in them that they move easily with you as you move around. I have them in white, and the magenta pair (which I just bought on sale) fit a little bit larger. I am 5"10" 130 lbs with an athletic build, and I feel like the size 4 (my normal Athleta size) is roomy in the waist. I'm going to throw them in the dryer and see if I can't shrink them down a bit. Other than that, love the shorts.

Great Color!
Like these ... So hard these days to figure out what is the right size! Every manufacturer is different, I have clothes ranging from size zero to size 6 that all fit me! I am 5"7" tall 120 lbs, very athletic build. I ordered a size 4. I think they are OK. I wore them a few times and they certainly stretched quite a bit. Hoping washing will bring "em back to size. Could probably wear a 2, but would be a "tighter fit".

Too big in waist
About me - 46 yrs old, athletic, 5'3" 35-26-38; 35C (I am quite fit but cursed with a little bigger butt and heavy inner thighs). I ordered Regal Purple in 4. The color in person is the same as viewed on my computer. The waist was just too big for me. The ... were not flattering, they made me look larger. They fell to mid knee. This will one of the rare items that will be sent back

NOT true to size AT ALL
I wear an 8-10, ordered 3 pairs of these shorts in a 10 and can't get them buttoned. They are definitely not a curvy fit and resembled a junior/teen cut, not an athletic cut. They are very tight in the rear. I wear a 10 in other Athleta clothing and usually the fit is more than comfy so I'm very disappointed in these shorts. I ordered these based on the "true to size" reviews but this is not my experience. I'm really bummed about having to return these. The fabric is quite stiff but very cut shorts, if they fit.
