Works for this short person!
I bought this because so many said it was too short! I usually buy halter swim tops, but after a few days those can irritate your neck and I like the support a racerback provides. I'd just always assumed that since I wear a large in bathing suit tops but I'm rather short that a racerback would have straps that are too long and far too hard to work some seamstress magic on. I am 5'3", a 38C, and a somewhat beefy athletic build; this top fits me perfectly. If anything, I like that it is shorter than the halter bathing suit top I bought at Athleta because that one goes far past "meet and greet" and it is very hard to shorten very stretchy fabrics with any standard stretch stitch on a sewing machine (the stitches aren't able to handle so much stretch without breaking, so you have to do some advanced technique hand sewing). My only complaint is I wish this top came in more colors. I bought the pink fan color, and I have grey bottoms that I will use with it, since there is no way I'd buy pink or another light color for a swimsuit bottom - there is simply too much grime out there in the real world to not end up with a silly stain on a light colored bathing suit bottom, PLEASE MAKE THIS IN MORE COLORS!

I'm so happy wtih my Athleta ... feels great and I love the way it looks. I'm 5'6" and an A cup so I ordered a medium and was a little worried the cups might be to loose...but they aren't. They have the inserts which is great and so it helps with my lack of chest. They length is great too. It's fitted but not too tight. It's very flattering and athletic looking. I am looking forward to buying another one for next summer.

Perfect top
This is the best swim top I've purchased. I hate the thin strapped tops that barely hold you up. I prefer a more athletic top. This one is supportive. I bought the tall medium and it fits perfectly. I usually wear a medium top and am a 36C. I bought the tall because I'm long waisted and have a problem finding any top that covers down to the bottoms when I sit. This ... does the trick. The suit stays in place and I'm comfortable throwing the kids around the pool in it without having to worry about accidentally exposing myself.

one of the best suits i''ve ever had
i hope the folks at athleta pay attention to this suits positive reviews and keep this design in rotation...great support (36DD), excellent coverage, pretty colors, quality construction (i should have this suit for at least 2 summers, if the support and fabric hold up). if you are busty and want something with support that is cute and flattering, for sure give this suit a try. i ordered the 36DD and it fit perfectly. i wouldn't wear it for anything super athletic like beach volleyball, but it's gonna make me feel real pretty in my kayak :) and i can swim laps in it comfortably.

Finally a tankini that fits AND is supportive! I ordered 6 tankini bathing suits from different catalogs this season with the hope that one would fit. This one was perfect and all the rest are going back! I am 5'7", 130 lbs and 34C. I have three active kids to keep up with so I have no patience for a fussy bathing suit that doesn't stay put. I also have a long torso and have always had trouble finding a ... top that didn't fall short. The tall size has just enough coverage without looking dowdy. The fabric is great and the fit is comfortable with NO Falling Out! I love the adjustable straps and just enough draping to hide my less than perfectly flat stomach. The navy blue color is elegant. I love this suit so much that I have ordered a second one in a print fabric! You have to try this suit!

Way too small
I ordered according to cup size. The first one was way too small. I ordered the next size up....still too small and almost too large in the cup. I am sending it back. I will look for some other style. If you have broad shoulders....or an athletic build...this is not the top for you.
