Just what I was looking for!
We're heading to Kauai in a couple months and I was looking for a cute, easy care ... throw on for sightseeing and walking on the beach. This ... definitely fits the bill. I got the bright blue and the color is rich and flattering. The internal shelf bra is perfect for us small chested gals (I'm 34B). I love how it shows off the shoulders and isn't too low cut. I am 5'5" tall, athletic build, 130 pounds and the small is perfect. Not too clingy or too baggy. It hangs perfectly. Very happy with my purchase!
can wear anywhere!
great fitting, able to wear to dinner or to the zoo! (aka, easily transitions from night to day and vice versa...) i feel good about myself wearing this ... because i don't look like a "frumpy mom" but i am still very comfortable getting down and dirty with my small children. i own 2 of these dresses and get compliments all the time on how great they look. i also wear them out with the adults when on "beach" vacations and they are perfect. couldn't be happier! oh- as far as size- i wear a small in this ... am 5'9, 135lbs. PERFECT fit

I love the fit of this ... very true to size. I am 5'2" and ordered a petite and it it is just the right length. I wear a c cup and the support of the built in bra is enough. This is a great casual ... wear out to dinner at the beach or runnning errands around town. The plum color is also very nice.

Originally I bought one to wear for a beach resort vacation and loved it so much I bought one in another color. Very comfortable and looked great for evenings out and casual day wear. I'm 5"6'/125lb/36A. I have a small and medium and both fit well although the small is a bit more form fitting so I wear it for eves out with some strappy heals. I love the built in bra, gave me some form and didn't look bulky or bunchy.
Glad I Purchased
I am very happy with this ... overall -- Athleta does such a great job with dresses that are casual but also stylish enough to wear out -- either for lunch or dinner at the beach. I am 5'7, 125 lbs and very fit and this ... clung to my figure -- so I agree with the other reviewers that if you have any wobbly bits, they will probably show in this ... But at the same time, it's not figure hugging. The fabric was a bit wrinklier than I expected but I am hoping that this will work itself out. This ... fits perfect at the top for those with smaller busts (I'm a 34C) and it really rocks a set of strong broad shoulders. I like the way you can tie the ... several different ways at the back and I love the foam cups that hide any bounce or headlights. (Is there anything less classy than someone with a pretty ... absolutely no support and nip out?! ugh! Also, if you have any underarm fat, that will probably show also but you can cinch the ... tighter to deal with that issue. Overall, a great little ... got it in black -- very pleased and glad I purchased this!
Brazil Bound
I bought this ... bring to the beaches of Brazil while visiting my Son and his wife. What a fantastic ... Great fabric, looks great and feels great after a day at the beach. Love it!
This wasbasically what I expected afer reading the other reviews. I thought the swimsuit material would be weird, but it works. I think it even helps with covering up some midsection flaws. It also definitely works as a ... not just beach or swimwear. I'm about 5' 5", 125 lbs, and the Small fit perfect. I usually wear a size 6 in dresses. The cups are just right for my size c chest, so if you're smaller than a c cup you might have trouble filling them in. However, they are padded, so it may not matter.

I bought 3 dresses: Wavebreak, Shorebreak, and Kokomo. Shorebreak was almost there, but it was just a tad more fitted than the Kokomo (though they both say "semi fitted") and I felt just a touch too body conscious in it. I'm 5'4", 123 pounds, 34B. But my tummy is a little soft for having twins, and this showed whenever I bent at all in the Shorebreak in a size small - medium might work, but the chest would probably be too big. But for some, the fit could work - the chest was true to size. Wavebreak ... chest was too big (though I ordered a small) and was a bad fit on top all around. The Kokomo ... truly perfect - it's "semi fitted", but not as fitted as the Shorebreak. The chest is really true to size, a very flattering cut and design, and the shape and drape of the ... very flattering all around. It's so versatile I'm going to wear it biking, on jaunts about town with the kids, to the beach, dancing, picnics or restaurants...pretty much anywhere. VERY cute ... which my 5-year old is wearing about the house now...
Looks cute
I can't try this out yet, but on first impression it looks good. I plan to wear this to the beach with grand kids. With this I can run into the water with kids, but not have to see my 65 year old legs bared to the public. Looks like a sundressbut will dry quickly. I just have to get a swim panty to go with it.
I wish this ... fit better
I absolutely love the color and the idea of wearing swimsuit material as a ... really dresses up an afternoon after the pool or beach. Unfortunately it just doesn't fit me that well. The top fit well but the waist was large and it was a little tight across the hips creating a droop around my midsection. It is a great looking ... just not on me.
Clingy nightmare
I love the top of this ... but could not for the life of me get the ... not cling....I am guessing some anti static would help, but I didn't want to "need" something to keep a ... It's definitely a casual ... fabric is similar to a bathing suit material. Would look cute on a beach.
