bra sized tankini - reviews
Love it!!!
This was my first ... am 5'4", 120 lbs, 34DD. I typically don't buy tankini's because they make me look boxy, and generally don't offer the support I need. Wow... this one exceeded my expectations. I bought a small top and small bottom, they fit perfect. Snug but not uncomfortable. The top does squish my chest, but I like the feeling of not bouncing all over the place when moving along the beach. I also like how the straps in the back are completely adjustable to however you want to where this bathing suit... no neck pain from neck ties!
Love this!
I was looking for a ... top that was flattering but would allow me to run around after my boys and not worry about everything staying put. I am 5' 7" and 128 pounds and the small/tall top fits perfectly. I found that the underwire in the bra was too small for my 32C sized breasts. Luckily for me (as other reviewers have noted), the underwires just slip right out! Now, without the underwire, the top fits perfectly and still has plenty of support. I love the turquoise design. Definitely a keeper!
Another Fantastic Suit
Wish more of your tankini's had this sort of support/coverage. I am an active 52 year old with a large chest. I hesitated ordering this suit because the print did not look that great in the picture. I was pleasantly surprised once it arrived. The colors were fantastic (ordered the pink) and it fit really, really well. This is the second suit I have bought from you this year and would have purchased more if other prints came in this style or the figure 8 style. Think i can even play beach volleyball in this suit without a support ... underneath. THANK YOU!! P.S. Can harldy wait until your store opens in Southern CA later this year.
classic tank
This classic tank with underwire bra is just WHAT WOMEN WANT! Please make this in a classic black also! Forget the v neck and halter tops that are so ubiquitous! Give us a standard tank with a real floating underwire bra inside so that we look good.
Pleasantly surprised
I always tend to have problems with bathing suits because I am a D cup ... My torso is also long so I have grown accustomed to tankinis being short on me. But this one fit my torso perfect and I have never had a bathing suit be a supportive as this one was. It felt like I was wearing a very good sports ... has an underwire built right in. I felt like I was wearing sports ware and a bathing suit all in one. It was great. :)
A Do Everything Suit!
I bought over $500 worth of Athleta ... sized swimwear thinking that most wouldn't fit me that well, and I'd keep only some. Well, I was WRONG. I am keeping every last piece, because this is the best made, most supportive, most comfortable, and best fitting swimwear I have EVER worn. I am 43, 5'8", 157#, 34DD ... 10-12 bottoms and usually a M top. I bought the blue version of the Reefbreak Shoreside ... M and it fits perfectly. I usually have to wear halter style tops to keep my breasts tamed and they are always trying to escape. This top has excellent coverage on the top and sides, but still looks really cute and sporty, not old ladyish. I could absolutely jog in this. And the straps are so comfortable, no pulling on my neck giving me headaches, Really great support. The fabric and construction couldn't be better, and I couldn't be happier. I can't wait to take a morning jog on the sand and afterward jump right in for a dip! Yay, I'm going to totally enjoy my time on the beach this year!!
Awesome fit, great colors
Love this top! When I ordered this top, I wasn't sure about the pattern, but I wanted the built in underwire bra. I'm a 32DD, and I have a 2-yr, and I can't be running around after her without some support (it's scary for everyone, including me!). When I got the suit, I was delighted with the color. The lime green really shows up much more vibrantly in person, which I love. And the bra fits great, and doesn't show cleavage, even for a big chest. As far as the medium ... - I'm a pretty small medium (a small in some things), and this is very snug on me, so you may want to order up a ... if you have any doubt.
Comfortable Suit
I dread putting on a swim suit each Summer, but not so this year with this ... Love the underwire, makes the top fit like a sports bra. I am 5"1", 125 lbs, muscular build. I am a 34C, and wound up with the medium because I am broad through the chest and shoulders and the small was just a little too tight. I got the bottoms in small (usually a ... 2 pant.) Coverage is great. I have not worn it in the water yet, but am not anticipating any problems. Ordered the bikini top too, love it all! Both the bikini and ... tops look great with the black sporty shirred bottoms too.
good support
more support than i expected. great for the beach/pool with kids if you are larger busted and need support. more like a jog ... type of top than other tankinis. i am a 34 D to DD and this is one of the first great support tops i have found this summer. with small children it's hard to wear some of the other tops out there and be active in a suit without compromising support.
Great lines and print, however, the medium top is sized for a small. Order one ... up.
Ok tankini
The fabric is high quality, but the fit is not quite right. I wear a 34 D bra, ordered this pattern in the ... sports bra top. The sports bra swim top fit much better, and was true to the ... chart. I had to send back the small in the ... get a medium. It is still snug in the chest and gives a uniboob, but a large will be too big for me everywhere else. I like the suit, but don't understand why the bra top and the ... top are not sized the same.
