Perfect turtleneck!
I love this turtleneck! I was looking for some sweaters this winter that had some interesting detail and color and this sweater is perfect. I love the cowl neck and ribbing is very different. I usually wear an XS in Athleta clothing and I got an XS and it is definitely form fitting but I like that. If you have bulges or are uncomfortable with slim fit then I would suggest a ... up. I get a lot of compliments on this turtleneck!

Versatile, feminine, lovely sweater
I own several of the organic cotton rib T neck sweaters from Athleta. I love them but I felt like I needed something new to add to my winter clothing repertoire. Plus, I was not overly enthralled with the T neck sweater colors this season. I was a bit unsure about ordering the rib cowl sweater, but Athleta has a fabulous return policy in case I wasn't thrilled. I first ordered the Victorian color and LOVED it. I immediately ordered the charcoal heather. I may order another color (sad, but I love these sweaters). I am not thin but I feel quite comfortable wearing this sweater style. I'm 34DD/36D, 5' 7" about 145ish lbs., ... 8 and somewhat curvy/athletic. I have received many complements wearing this sweater. It is not overly thin material (seems slightly thinner than the T neck rib, but still substantial). I love the length. Perfect for skinny jeans and maybe leggings if you are thin enough.

great sweater!
I really love this sweater. It fits well, and I really like the color- I got the color one. It goes well with jeans for the casual look, and I think it would also look good with a skirt. I haven't washed it yet, so the jury's still out on that. I think that judging from the quality, it will hold up well in the wash, but we'll see.

This sweater is the perfect match for travel and comfortable, casual everyday. Bought two, and have gotten complements everytime I wear them. I am a medium, and the ... perfect --- very slimming look.

Great all -around top
I bought my first of these tops a month ago in black and just ordered the camel as well. Both are fantastic for casual wear or dressing up with scarves and skirts. Very comfortable material and flattering to the figure.

Comfortable and chic
I bought this in two colors to wear in a business casual work environment, and it's perfect! Very comfortable, long enough to tuck in and short enough to leave untucked, either way works. the longer short sleeve stops a little above the elbow, and looks really nice.

Dress up, dress down...repeat
I have 2 black (one in XS, one in S), one chalkboard XS, and one all spice S. I have a 34B chest, and the XS is true to ... sleek and snug, while the S is more "modest", if you will. I truly can't decide which is better because they are all good in their own way. The fabric is figure flattering and soft, perfect for mild winters in TX. I have thrown on necklaces over them for everyday casual and even went to church and fancy dinners with a pearls, then put them under sweatshirts and parkas and went on winter trips and hikes in the midwest. Very versatile wardrobe staple. One thing; the All Spice color is duller than what I saw on the computer screen, it is more like a TX Longhorn y burnt sienna rather than the bright color that the web page suggests. That wasn't a problem for me! :)

want one in every color
I usually wear a MED, but purchased a LG after reading other reviews and it was a perfect fit. This is a timeless "basic" that I could wear every day for work or casual, even dress it up with a scarf for dinner dates. The quality is all that I had hoped for and do want one in every color!

Couldn''t believe it - Too Big
I ordered a medium and it was way too big. I am 5'7" and have a medium to large build. I usually wear mediums in short sleeve tops and larges because of the length of my arms. I couldn't believe how big this was. I thought I had ordered a large by mistake. It gaped at the sides and was really long. I am sending it back. The color was pretty and my kids, who are my number one clothing critics, wanted me to keep it because of the color alone. I'm contemplating sending it back for a small.

flattering sweater
This sweater is very fitted in the body but the ribbing makes it not look skintight. The material is very soft and comfortable. It is very flattering and stylish. The sleeves were a bit too long but not so much that I'll return it ( I am 5'8") I bought this for a trip that will involve casual and moderately dressy activities. This will be perfect.

Follow up 2012 Version in Razzle Purple
I previously reviewed this style sweater using my 2010 model as my guide to the overall quality. So here goes - same great sweater but in a new color that is very flattering and will go with all my casual wear. I plan to take the sweater with me to Key West for the cooler evenings. It is well priced for organic cotton that holds up if you take care of it when you wash it. Lastly, my plum sweater has never faded which is very unusual for jewel colored garments. Athleta ---this sweater is a keeper.

Love love love and very flattering!
I bought this in yellow, it is very flattering and I love it - I prefer oversized clothing, I purchased a M and it is perfectly loose in a good way, I am 5'2 and 125lbs - small would probably fit just right but I wanted it roomier. It can be dressier or loungy - very versatile! I am going to get other colors!!!!

Great sporty, casual sweater
Got this sweater for wearing to walk the dog, golf, run errands, etc.. The blue is very pretty. This sweater fits great on tall girls like me! Love that the sleeves are long enough and it's not your typical boxy cardigan. Fitted but not tight. Medium worked well for me (5'10", 145lbs). Sporty and stylish. Could also be worn for skiing, hiking, casual work days, etc..

Very cute
Cute and casual. I am 5'1 and 120# (32C bust). Ordered a ... small in boysenberry. The color is rich and saturated. It is fitted, but not tight at all. Glad I went with the small instead of my usual extra small. My only complaint is that the sleeves are too long and too big in diameter. This may get better once I wash it. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the two way zipper! I'm very pear shaped and often find things too loose around my waist and too tight on my hips/butt. Leaving it zipped around my waist, but unzipped at the bottom makes the fit perfect. I hope Athleta takes the hint and puts out some jackets and vests with two way zippers....

Love the sweater, hate the two way zipper
I love the material of this sweater - medium weight, fitted but stretchy and very comfortable. However, I don't like the two zipper. Whenever I unzip the bottom zipper, then try and zip it back down, it never lines up to go all the way down which means I'm wrestling with it whenever I want to unzip the sweater and take it off. What I do now is I just don't use the bottom zipper, and I take the sweater off over my head. At first I thought I just got a defective one, but the sweater I tried on in the Mill Valley store was the same, and the two I bought online were the same. I bought the light grey and light blue colors. The grey is very light and drab, but looks good if you put a nice scarf with it. The blue is very pretty and spring looking. I'm 5' 2" and 120 pounds. The XS fits perfectly. Sleeves are long, but I have long arms so I don't mind. You can fold over the sleeves, and it still looks nice. A good dress up or dress down sweater. I've worn it with jeans for a casual look, and with a ... nice scarf for a dressier look.

Spectacular Spooner Sweater!
This sweater is everything I thought it would be and more. I wanted something coat like but not too heavy - something for those high-40s/low 50s type of weather - and this fit the bill nicely. I like how it tapers around the waist so it compliments any body shape and it's not bulky at all. It's warm, casual and goes great with jeans or leggings, boots, etc - so versatile. I receive compliments every time I wear it!

Tons of Compliments
I have never gotten so many compliments on one item of clothing as this sweater. It is very well made and very comfortable I do not find it itchy at all. Have worn it as a sweater with jeans and with leggings and boots. Wish they had other colors available, but unfortunately looks sold out. Great purchase---very happy!!!

Throw it over anything and no one is the wiser
I am very happy with this sweater. I own several sweater/coat style items, but this one is great because the material is warm but thin enough that you can add a coat over top if need be. My other sweater/coats have to be retired once the snow flies because they are too bulky to fit a coat over top. So this one goes from fall to spring, over jeans, dress pants or just leggings. I find the fit flattering in that it definitely nips in a bit at the waist. When you are wearing so much material, you need to have some shape or else you just look like a big ball of wool! I like the zipper front. The hood puts it on the more casual side. I would love an even dressier version.

Great buy!
This is a warm you up, put your arms around me, great sweater. Perfect for anywhere. It can be dressy or casual. The sleeves are longer but that is the style. Highly recommend!

spooner summit. I have 2 the same ... but one is bigger!
I have the mercury and ordered a jam color one that just arrived. They are botth ... smaill and one is bigger than the other. How can that be??? Also, the mercury one, which actually fits...the zipper kept sticking so I had to send it back. Now the jam one that just arrived is too small. This seems like a lot of work....ordering and returning for silly reasons that shouldn't be. I've spent over $1k in clothing at Athleta lately, and I'm rethinking the brand. Items are arriving wet in the package, zippers stick, same ... very inconsistent.

I ... super comfy yet looks like a nice jacket. I normally ... small in most Athleta pieces of clothing and went with a medium in this jacket because the upper body area of the small was a little snug. I am really happy with the jacket and plan to ... especially for travel all winter.

LOVE!
OK. I love fleece coats for ... am a mom of one and we spend a lot of time outside in the fall and spring at playgrounds and hiking, biking, etc... I always want to be comfy and warm but stylish as well. This jacket really fits the bill! It is generously ... first ordered a medium because I ... lot of sweaters and fleece sweatshirts.. I was concerned the small would be too tight in the sleeves and arms and chest (I am normally an athleta sm/med- more towards the small ... 5.6, 134 lbs). The medium was WAY too big and the bottom belled out with a huge flare so it was not at all flattering. I returned it for a small and just love it. I bought it in the deep purple which is just like Athleta's other deep purple shades. As a reference I usually buy Lands End Fleece coats for a fall jacket and this is way better made, warmer and much more stylish. Considering how expensive Athleta clothing is I actually think this jacket is reasonably priced. After all, many of their t's are $60 or more so to pay [$] for a heavy fleece jacket is reasonable in my eyes.

nice jacket, wrong color
The style of the jacket was okay, but the top was a little tight and I have a small chest. I probably would have liked it if the color was different. There was not more of my ... purple and the brown that I got did nothing for my medium olive completion. It would have been nice if the pockets were fleece or a warmer material, but I understand that mesh is often used to keep exercise clothing lighter. I plan on returning it because of the fit and color.

Wonderful
I believe this is the first review I have ever written. I almost had a heart attack over the price, ... after being so cold the last few winters here and not wanting to go outside, I went for the plunge. This coat is awesome! Blue color is beautiful, and it ... perfectly (5'6 125lb - got a small). If you are normally between a small and medium in Athleta clothing, you could definitely go with a small. ... fleece thumb warmers and all the adjustable features at the bottom and on the hood. I've been searching for months and months and this coat seems to have the best features for the price. The length is longer than some I looked at and the down fill is better. Now I don't mind being outside!

OMG Warm and Stylish!
I ... coat! I have been searching for a smart yet, warm coat for those New York winter days. I have searched high and low. I have been to all the New York Department stores and Designer outlet. This is the warmest and perfect all around down coat. It is such a smart coat from the fleece hand warmers to the snap sides and bottom. Now I can actually zip up a long coat without getting the zipper caught. I hope Athleta will start to add extended hand warmers on all their jackets(just like some of the other yoga clothing line has!) I can always count on Athleta to provide me with perfect attire for winter and all year around days. I find the quality to be superb wash after wash. I also ... most of the clothing seems to ... time after time.

Great coat!
This coat is really light ... very warm. It can folded up in a suitcase for travel and still provides ample warmth. The fleece cuffs with thumb holes are great for keeping your hands warm without gloves. Beware that the dark maroon lining on the black coat bleeds slightly on lighter clothing. All in all, this is a great coat and I would recommend it for anyone in colder climates.

great....but
i got this coat today and wore it all day!! awesome, warm, ... really well and is super comfortable. however, i was ... white shirt underneath it and WHEN I TOOK THE COAT OFF MY WHITE SHIRT WAS THEN PINK. the liner of the coat is a maroon and evidently it rubs off on white clothing. i ... coat enough to ... dark clothing underneath, but just want to give future buyers an FYI. hopefully it will stop after some more ... athleta will fix the problem. too bad because its an awesome coat! would have easily been five stars if it hadn't affected the ... underneath it...

Beautiful cut, nice fit, great detailing
I love these cords for spring fall and winter....they are so comfy and I always get loads of compliments on them when I wear them. I have 3 pairs....and they're nice enough for office casual, but comfy enough to wear anywhere. I'm 5'8 140 lbs and they fit well, if a little long. You will need to wear them with a heeled boot or shoe, but they make your legs look nice and long and your tush look small. A great pant.

Very Comfortable
I've worn these pants once a week since my purchase. They allow me to feel a little more casual at the office but still look presentable. It took a couple tries to get the ... right, but I'm glad I did. They are very comfortable.

Wanted it, got it, love it!
I love the fit of my regular dipper pants. The tall ... perfect for my 5'11" height and the style is so casual, yet great for every day/night activities. When I saw the corduroy dipper pants I knew I had to have them. And I was not disappointed. LOVE them!

Best Warm Pant Ever
I have 3 pairs. Every color's great. You know I like a pant when I buy it and wear it 4 days in a row immediately, then switch to a different color and keep wearing that... Completely comfortable. Great Cords!
I've always wanted to give these pants a try, and loved them after trying them on! The material is a nice weight for the cold Wisconsin winters. They also have a lot of cute details that make them unique. I will have to try the regular Dipper pant next. Although, I will have to admit the color was a little different than displayed. All in all, great casual pants!

my new favorite pants
These ... 2 petite cords fit perfectly - comfortable, good length and snug enough. Casual enough for camping but dressy enough to wear to the office when I don't have important meetings scheduled. I love the side pockets down the legs that I can imagine stuffing a snack bar or small flashlight into. And, the pockets at the hips or on the butt are perfect for a cell phone, i.d., money or car keys. All of the colors were attractive but this blue goes very nicely with a wide variety of other colors. I can pretty much wear them with anything except perhaps a dress shirt. The boot cut will allow me to ski in them, too. I highly recommend them to the discriminating woman.

Good casual pant
I have another Dipper pant that I love, and I wear all the time for work. That one is a good "cross over" pant -- can be dressed up for work, but still is functional and doesn't look to stuffy. The corduroy Dipper fits the same, and overall I like it, but it somehow looks more casual, so it doesn't work as well for work. Still a great pant!

Long pants
I love that Athleta has LONG pants that fit properly. The corduroy pant is casual, can be dressed up or is comfortable enough to just lay around in. It is also good for outdoor activity.

Super comfortable now that I got the right ... had to order a ... large than I actually am because the ... runs very tight. Snuggly and warm. I wear them for business casual to work.

This fabric is great!
... 8 fits my frame of 5'6" 135-ish pounds. However, I did find lots of inconsistancies in ... between pairs. Even two 8's in the same color fit differently. Easy to exchange and keep trying, although a hassle of time, but is to be expected when buying clothing onlne. I love this light weight fabric in a long ... cool summer evenings or fall or spring. I spilled salsa on and it wiped right off without staining. Liquid beads up and rolls right off. However, the oils left from a melted chocolate candy did leave a small spot..not brown, but more of a tell tale oil stain. But on my blue ... very subtle. Love how they stretch yet hold their shape. I can wear for 3 days without needing to wash, it seems. I do need to catch them when I take them out of the dryer on low...otherwise they wrinkle. But wrinkles fall out quickly when wearing. Also like the waist string to cinch for my perfect fit.

My Favorite Pants!
I just bought a second pair of these ... exact same khakina color because I don't want to be without them when they need to be washed! They're the most versatile piece of clothing I own. They're as comfortable as sweats. They're stretchy enough for activities like hiking, power walking, biking, etc. Yet they look very put together. I work part time in a ... office and have worn them to work with flats and they look great. They're perfect for traveling because they don't wrinkle and can be worn multiple times without losing their shape. I love wearing them to my kids' outdoor sports events because they keep me cool if it gets hot, they keep me dry if it rains, and I can go straight to church from the field without changing. I'm 5' 7 1/2" and the ... 8 is a perfect fit.

WOW I love these ...
Thank you Athleta for a drawstring in the waist of these well made and flattering fit ... am mid fifties and have always altered ... have a ... 6 tush and ... 4 waist - these ... make that little custom difference so no alteration is necessary. The fabric is so nice that although they are activewear I wore them day and evening on my latest trip. Great quality and design for multi use clothing.

Satisfied
Based on others' reviews, I went back and forth for weeks trying to decide whether to order a 2P or 4P, and finally went with the 4P. I'm 5'1", and an athletic 118. I usually wear a 0 or 2 in ... jeans, and typically fit a ... 26 waist. However, I got the impression that all Athleta clothing runs small so decided it would be wise to go up to a 4. I think I made a good choice despite the waist being a bit loose. My body type is pretty straight and proportionate, but I have a bubble butt so the 4 fits well in the rear and thighs, and I can cinch the waist with the internal drawstring. I planned to wear these ... hikes for an upcoming trip to Costa Rica but they're a bit thicker and stiffer than I imagined they would be, so there's a chance I could be sweating in these. They'd be great for hiking in temps of 40-70 degrees though. Overall, I'm satisfied with the fit and style. They're a nice alternative to jeans for hanging out on weekends.

My new favorite ... true to ... Athleta brand clothing gets. I'm 5'8", 135 and usually wear ... 6 to 8 ... depending on brand. I ordered a ... 8 and it fit perfectly around hips, thighs, waist and just a tad long - the picture on the web site shows that the ... go down below the heel. The regular dipper ... went up past my belly button and these "low rise" fit like regular ... they went two fingers stacked together below my belly button - not as low as the picture on the web site. I wore them 6 days in row hiking and traveling this summer and they held up beautifully. Kept me warm when it was cool, cool when it was warm, and most importantly, dried quickly. Fabric is comfy and the style is great. I was able to wear them hiking one day and visit school classrooms the next. My only complaints are that the inner mesh back pockets bunch up and make your rear end look wrinkly and the snap located on the belt line in the back keeps coming unsnapped - what is that for anyway?

I absolutely ... these ... They ... me perfectly and feel great. ... reason they ... perfectly is that they are stretchy all over. I've noticed that ALL Athleta ... mid rise. This is just not practical for many who do not ... idealized body in the picture. I would ... see some ... rise that is higher. Remember, there is a HUGE population of Baby Boomers out there just dying to ... flattering quality clothing. Reality check. You ... spend a lot of time to ... body that most of Athleta ... designed for if you are over 50. Give us a break. We've earned our flaws and are now into ... bodies. I am an active person. I call myself aunt chubby in jest, ... am not 5'4" and 110 lbs. That is a 20 year old. How about some clothing modeled by your average tummy!

I noticed a stitching error on one of the front pockets, which meant I'd be exchanging them for another pair. Then a girlfriend wanted to see them, so before shipping them off, I showed them to her. After showing her the stitching defect, she promptly found several additional glaring stitching defects! I am so unhappy with the overall manufacturing quality of Athleta clothing. I ... bought from Athleta repeatedly and ... received garments over and over that should never ... made it past even a cursory quality control check. Disappointing since Athleta brings such great concepts to activewear--but often poorly executed. At this price point, the quality should be spot on. Fabulous Leggings!
I am 5'2", 125 lbs, 55 years old and have a pear shaped body. So I don't invest in many pairs of leggings! They have never been very comfortable nor flattering to say the least! I bought these from Athleta to go with some tunics, under dresses and for boots. They ... PERFECT. They come down to the ankle and the stomach band does not pinch, or make ... skin rollover ... it lays quite flat and doesn't move! Best ... leggings I have ever owned! Actually, so far ... I have ... all of Athleta's clothing! Certainly ... mature woman's body. Bravo!

Great leggings for just about anything
I'm writing reviews to try and help ... fellow, tall gals, out. That being said. When the option for a tall ... given I expect and am hopefull that it will be longer than 28in. If I was any taller than ... height(5'10") these leggings would be too short. They're an ok length ... would've ... them if they were and inch or two longer. The back dips down lower than the front which makes bending forward a bit frustrating as they slide/stretch down. I would think the makers of womens clothing would realize that females have more in the back than a male and would sew, cut and style ... leggings, jeans etc. to ... flatter and COVER us. I do like these leggings and to prove it I now ... bought two pairs. I ... there is a "no see through" look to these leggings and I will just make sure I ... longer tops with them, especially when doing yoga. Also a great price for Athleta ... leggings, campared to the other Yoga, run leggings.

Nice tight
Fairly nice tight. Got it in black, expected it to be a deep black since it was a synthetic fiber, ... looks faded against some of ... other black clothing. The feature of black spandex seemed nice, ... they still get that lycra sheen, I don't really see a difference. Keeping them, ... would only buy again because they offer specialty colours.

Dont waste your money
I really like Athleta clothing most of the time...however, these leggings are not ... favorites. At the price of [$] I would expect them to be of better (and a bit thicker) fabric. They are thin and I will not ... them except under another piece of clothing....you can see ... underwear...ugh! [...]

Comfy and nice
Bought these to go to Belize. They are very comfy and will be perfect for hiking, dinner and just hanging out. Easily work with a nice top for a casual night out. Tough fabric will be great for hikes.

Can''t get enough of these
I'm 5'6", weigh 115lbs, with an athletic build. I ordered these pants in black in ... 0 and wore them a ton! They are stylish capris that can be used for hiking, commuter biking, and general hanging out. They are comfortable and versatile. Really, they are very cool! However, they shrunk gradually with each consecutive wash but because of the stretch, they still work. It's important to note that my weight did NOT change, nor did other ... change fit! I ordered a second pair in ... 2 (first time ever with Athleta clothing), which are a little big, but I'm looking forward to them gradually shrinking as well...but I refuse to go up to a ... 4!

Fantastic Pant
These are rapidly becoming my favorite summer bottoms. They look great for casual wear, wick sweat quickly, and dry at lightening speed. These pants have more than exceeded my expectations - keeping me comfortable in 103 degree heat and on 20 mile bike rides. The internal drawstring is great and extremely helpful in making these pants work as hard as you do, the zipper pocket on the backside waistband is perfect for holding an ID and some cash, and the zipper pocket on the front leg is just a neat little detail that makes these pants fun to wear. I'm 5'2" and I didn't have any problems with the knee placement which some reviewers have complained about. I think I'll be buying another pair soon!

Perfect Capris
I wear these capris on my daily walk....cool enough for hot weather and long enough for cooler days. They are perfect for all casual weekend and after work activities...shapely but not skin tight, The look like cool ... feel like comfy workout ... Eliminates the need for separate sets of "public" and work out ... I've just ordered two additional pairs in other colors. The zippered pockets are a real plus. I probably should have ordered a ... 6. I am 5'7" and about 136 lbs. I don't like things too constricting but the ... 8 waist is on the loose side. I have ordered the extra pairs in ... 6. These are stretchy enough that I bet the ... 6 will be ideal.

quality
I got the mercury color which is beautiful. The styling and fabric quality are excellent. I am 5'8" and 165 lbs with a tummy. I ordered a 14 which was perfect in every way except for the rise (and I don't mean where it sits on the waist). The rise was too short for me so I had to return these. They bunched too much at the crotch. However, these would be perfect pants for casual shopping, movies, coffee, etc. Just something different from the usual capri. I was sad to return these - they are super!

Love these capri's. I am so glad that I found them! Planning to buy another pair...hope they're not sold out! They are so light weight and comfortable. Athleta clothing is wonderful. I have NEVER been dissapointed.

Really comfortable capris
These capris are really comfy! I purchased ... 4 and found no fit concerns with the exception of them being slightly loose around the waist. There is an internal drawstring which tightens the waist, so I can cinch them up a little, which is helpful. The fabric moves with you in every direction and makes these pants really comfortable for long hikes, hanging out on the floor with small kids, and generally moving around town. They are sporty, but fancy enough that I feel like I can wear them to work on a casual Friday, or out to an informal restaurant to lunch. I would highly consider purchasing in another color.

Vanity ... out of control
Based on previous reviews, I ordered a 2, I'm a 4 in every other brand of clothing I own, and these were still way too big. Very disappointed. My only positive thing to say is that the Gray color was nice.

Not for me
I did not like the material or the fit. I don't think they would be that great comfort wise for doing anything active, and they are not cute enough to wear on a casual basis.

nearly perfect short
I have a 32" inseam and the length hits right at top of ... knee. They look good on ... not too tight. ... only complaint would be that there be a drawstring to cinch the waist. And as with many clothing items I ordered two mediums and one is bigger than the other. I am 5'7" 144 and the medium ... good except maybe a little loose at the waist. the small ... me ... snugger then I like.

Not for fuller thighs
I've recently lost weight enough to shop Athleta's catalogue, and I'm experimenting with various new clothing cuts... These shorts do not taper with the "drumstick" profile of my upper thighs, they are straight up and down. Looks great on the model, ... not on me!

Love the look of this skirt. It has a bit of stretch to it and clings nicely without being too tight. I'm a little concerned that it might stretch out over time but that remains to be seen. Meanwhile, I'm loving it with a casual sweater or tee for everyday wear. I'm a ... 4 and bought a ... 4 and it fits really well except for in the waist where it's a tad loose, but definitely still wearable. Looks really cute with boots or ballet flats. Definitely a keeper!

Dressy and comfortable!
I love this skirt because it is as comfortable as can be sitting or bending over and still retains its great looks after doing so. No wrinkles because of the velvet stretchy material so it looks very nice especially in black. You could wear it casual though because it feels casual, that is the beauty of it. I paired this skirt with the black chevron tights they sell and some black boots. The skirt does run a bit big because I had to exchange it for a smaller ... think it is because of the stretchy material so you may want to order a ... smaller than the measurements suggest.

I love this skirt and wish I'd gotten an additional one in another color! It fits great and it's not too long and not too short. I purchased the skort version of this skirt in the summer and it was so comfortable and flattering! The Black Corduroy skirt is great - you can wear it casual or dress it up. I order the petite as I am only 5'3". A bit loose in the waist, but I like it that way!

This is my second Whenever Cord skirt. I like its shape. Looks great with boots and a tee. Feel dressed up yet is very casual. I will wear it all winter, I know! Fabric is soft corduroy. Fit is just right.

Wear as a midi
I have 2 "Whatever" skorts in size 10 petite, so when I saw the "Whenever" skirt, I jumped to get it. I ordered 10 tall to wear it as a midi. I'm 5'4" and it hits just below the knee. Looks fab with knee high boots. The waist seemed to be the same size when comparing the 10p Whatever skort with the 10t Whenever skirt (some other lines use very different measurements for waist and hip when making petite vs tall items of the same numeric size). I like that is has coordinating thread for the stitching (the Whatever skorts used contrasting thread). I think this skirt would be great for a business casual office, too, or just casual "on the go." Don't understand the point of the drawstring on the inside waistband, so I just removed it. Haven't washed it yet, so I can't speak to wear.

Love this cut
I have a small waist but large hips and upper thighs, so I like cuts that have a flair at the bottom. This will look slimming on anyone. I wear it to work and for casual. I wear tights underneath currently, as it is almost November. I wish this style came in different fabrics and more colors...as I would only have this style skirt in my closet. Order a size smaller. I think all clothing manufacturers are way off in sizing...trying to get women to buy more. I normally wear a 6, and the size 4 is roomy.

Great casual skirt
I have two of these skirts - my husband bought me the green (Tapenade) one last year and I bought the Fieldstone color this fall. This is a great casual skirt - very comfortable. I am 5'8", 150 pounds and usually wear a 10 or 12 in jeans/pants/skirts, size M in athleta skirts and L in athleta workout pants. I have this skirt in both a 12 [...] and 10 - the 10 fits much better, so I would say this skirt is very true to size. I can still wear the 12 no problem by just cinching up the drawcord at the waist, it's just a little looser, which doesn't matter that much with this skirt.

I got this skirt in oregano and had trouble not letting myself wear it every day! Of course, I had to order another colour at that point. The skirt is so comfortable and the fabric is lovely. It can be worn for everything, from light hiking, to casual dinner. My favourite Athleta purchase...

Cute Skirt with Boots
This is a great skirt to wear with tall boots and tights. The fabric is not very thick so it will work through a few different seasons (with some extra layers in colder weather). I'm 5'4" 124 lbs and the waist is a little big but the drawstring makes it work fine. The length works well. The skirt hits mid knee on me. I only have one issue with the skirt and that is that the fabric is always wrinkled. Also, when I'm wearing the skirt the shape is much more of an inverted tulip than the photo seems. Overall I really like this skirt and would recommend it to anyone looking for a light weight casual dress skirt.

I LOVE this skirt--exactly what I was looking to fill a hole in my casual fall/winter wardrobe. But, if I had ordered the size I measured at in the sizing tables, it would have been way, way too big. I'm 5'11 and fit, but definitely not curvy so, by following all of the other comments, I was able to ... down and get the right ... 10 and not a 14!, on the first try.

This skirt is very flattering to my figure. It is a very casual skirt. It is cute with boots. The only problem I have with it is it seems to stay wrinkled looking, even after I iron it. It is good for going shopping or going to work if your work is casual. I am 5 ft 5 3/4 in and it hits very slightly above my knee.

Fabric is super soft. Not sure it will look great after a ton of washes but that seems true with almost all comfy fabric clothing items I buy. Still, I love it. Super comfy
Just had a baby and I can only wear a few items of clothing over my incision. This ... my new favorite item. It is softer than I anticipated, moves well, not too warm of fabric either for the material. Will definitely purchase another as I lose more weight. Comfortable, True to size.
The kickit bermuda shorts are great for everyday activities. Nice and casual. They are definitely true to size. Whatever size you would normally wear go with that size for these shorts.

My second pair...
I ordered this style of shorts in the spring and LOVED it so much I got another pair. I like how the fabric moves as I move and the fit is true to size. I literally opened up the package - put it on and it fit great. The material doesn't hike - chafe or ride up. It goes well with casual t shirts, tank tops or even a hoodie. I highly recommend this as an every day - active short and one that I have taken many airplane rides with...overall great product!

I love these! I love all the pockets because I run at work, and can store my badge in one pocket, and my phone or ipod in another. There are a total of five pockets - two in front, two in back, and an additional zip pocket in back. A size medium fit me very well and I normally wear a size 10 in Athleta clothing. The length was quite short - so much so that I got some commentary from a passing truck! But not indecent - it just looks like a mini skirt. I think if I had been running, no one would have said anything but at that point I had slowed down to a walk. Totally in love with these and want to wear them every day for my runs!

Love these shorts!
I bought two pair of these shorts in different colors. I love them. They fit perfectly and I especially love the drawstring in the waistband to make them fit like a glove. I would love to find these exact shorts that are maybe 2 inches shorter as well for a little more casual summer look! You will love these shorts.. :)

My favorite of all!!! Love this style!!!!
These are my favorite cotton bermudas! I'm 5'6'', 117lbs, and have been told I look athletic/fit, but I feel that my thighs are a little too chunky so these worked out beautifully as they made my hips look narrow and my legs thinner. Love the length of these shorts... I am 42 and don't think I should be wearing short shorts at this point, so if you share my feeling, you will like these. The design details are quite nice too and I get an awful lot of compliments wherever I go. On casual Fridays, I even wear them to work by dressing them up with platform sandals and a nicer casual shirt. The white ones are my favorite, but I also have them in other colors. Just wish they weren't so expensive... I would have purchased every single color!

A real pair of shorts!
Like an earlier reviewer, I was hoping that I wouldn't like this pair of shorts. They are a bit pricey. But out of the three I purchased (Kickit, Dipper and Slick Rock) this was by far the best fit and most durable feeling pair of shorts. They sit on the hips and are loose through the legs. A very cute look. The draw string in the waistband isn't really helpful as any cinching ruins the nice flat look at the top. But, I suppose it might come in handy if you are carrying heavy items (iPhone, wallet, etc.) in the pockets. Like any cotton clothing, they stretch out a bit in the waist and bottom area by the end of the day.

Attention Fabric content fanatics like me!
I am an outdoorsy girl and learned long ago cotton only belongs around the campfire at night. Not on the trail. Not in the water. Not on the ski slopes. Not on a run or out cycling or anywhere that you are exerting enough energy to work up a sweat. Cotton chafs and when it gets damp it doesn't do a good job of wicking away moisture. So why are so many of the pieces of clothing here including cotton in the mix? I get really excited by the fashion aspect of what I see here, and then my heart sinks when I see things like the Kickit pants that are organic cotton with a little spandex thrown in. I'll never purchase them. It would be like hiking in jeans and anyone that hikes a fair amount knows how uncomfortable that is!!! Athleta, please get a clue and do away with the cotton but keep the awesome fashion sense you have! Three stars because of the great fashion sense, but not five because of the high cotton content on so many of your things

Corporate Size System
***PLEASE KEEP READING*** I am very impressed with the size structure of Old Navy clothing. Normally, I wear a size 10-12. Old Navy's size system, I wear a size 6-8. This is a very flattering way to do business, and I applaud the corporate structure for this. It makes a girl feel good about herself and encourages me to keep returning to Old Navy. On the other side, according to [...]'s size structure, I wear a 14-16. Very very unflattering, so I stopped shopping there. That said, it would be helpful if the entire structure of your company could keep a consistent size system. Although Athleta & Old Navy are connected, the size systems are different. My entire clothing purchase, with Athleta, was returned. Athleta lost $140 in sales. You gave me the opportunity to re think whether I wanted to re purchase my order in a different size. When you took $6 from me, for your pain & suffering, that was a "Deal Breaker". [$] for a pair of cargo capris... [$] for a pair of shorts...AND you needed another $6 from The Little People??? I work in retail...That's a problem. I may have lost $6, but you lost a customer AND my "Word of Mouth"
