I love this ... fits perfect and is very flattering. It will transition from dressy casual to very casual, I think I will even wear it to work with a sweater!

I bought three different dresses to try hoping that at least one would fit--this is IT! I love it. It's casual enough to simply wear around in summer, but it is so simple and the neckline so interesting, you could glam it up a bit and wear it out for dinner too. Fit is great. Nice drape, not too clingy--very flattering. I am 5'4" and about 125 lbs and ordered the small in asphalt and could not be happier. Love the built in bra--quite substantial. Wish I had acted quickly enough to get this in another color...maybe next year. Thanks Athleta.
Perfect Summer ...
This ... amazing. First - I'm a larger cup size (D) and I do NOT have to wear a strapless with this, a first for me in terms of the "support" tops. I hugs perfectly - loose but not baggy. I love how the straps fit and tie in the back. I've worn this to work, to the park, and to a casual rehearsal dinner - and I've received a million compliments each time. I originally bought this in the slate, but it's so great, I purchased the beautiful sangria color too. It would be a great ... anyone with curves, particularly on top (but on the bottom too). I love both colors - the slate is a great neutral but the sangria is just a beautiful color. Cannot wait to pack both for my beach trips this summer!

I adore summer dresses that exhibit color, but it's hard to find color in a style that is flattering. I am 5'4" with 40" hips, 30" waist, small bust and bought the medium, hoping it would look alright but unsure. As soon as I tried it on I loved it! With or without a belt, the ... hangs beautifully on my frame. The built in bra helps add shape to my less voluptuous upper body and the wider skirt helps hid the drastic shape of my hips, thus making me look thinner and not fat like a lot of no waist or drop waist products tend to do. I am very excited to wear it to my trip to Germany for touring, picnicing, and casual beach play. I'm sure you could do more active things in the ... fabric has a very soft, modal/bathing suit feel but I bought it mainly for casual use.
another athleta homerun
how am I going to tell my husband there is another Athleta ... need?! Love the color (kaui blue), and material. The cut is really great- it looks "sack like" online, but actually shows a feminine shape all the way without being as tight as the shorebreak ... bra support is great too- I am a 34 B and want something that keeps me from looking saggy and this is awesome! The only thing I wish is that it was a few inches longer- I am only 5 ft 4" and this hits 3 inches above my knees. I am 120 lbs and got an xs. I would wear it everyday and for casual ... but not ... too formal because of the performance material. Go for it! (if you don't have 5 new Athleta dresses from this season). Ooops, that me.

My husband was wowed by this ... fits well and doesn't look as casual as some of the other 'swim' dresses. I like the plum color too.
the pros outweigh the cons
This ... incredibly flattering with great support but be forewarned, some of the colors are ghastly. I tried the green and purple and felt that both were just too loud, especially when combined with the fact that the swimsuit fabric is somewhat shiny. The dark blue was brighter than I expected but manageable. I may order the black as well, as if I need another black ... but as i said it is SO flattering! Runs on the large side, and you'll need the petite if you like a shorter length for casual wear as I do -- 5'5", 135#, 36C and I went with the petite S.

This ... adorable and fits perfectly (I am 5' 4", 125 lbs, 34B and ordered the petite small). I can't wait for warm weather to wear this! You can wear flip flops with this for a casual look or ... up~a very versatile ...
Lovely ... little bigger then expected.
This is a beautiful ... love the material, it drapes really nicely and will travel well. It will be great to wear as dressy/casual or even as a cover up at the beach. I am 5ft 6in, 135lbs and B 36. I found the ... tad bigger then I expected, in the body. The bust fits perfectly and the support is great. It is a little baggier in the body then it looks in the pictures. I by no means would want it to be tight form fitting but a little definition in the waist area would be nice. Also ,it hangs longer on me then the models in the pictures. Even with those negatives it is still a flattering ... can't wait to wear it in summer. I also bought the Pack Anywhere ... still prefer it to the Kokomo. But it would be hard to beat the Pack Anywhere!
Great Packable Summer ...
Nice versitile ... good for a coverup or simple summer wear. The material does make it seem a little more suited for casual wear, but it dries super fast which is nice. I am a little dissapointed with the built in support, due to the fit of the cupsize. I Normally wear a size 2 and ordered the ... xs.The chest fits a little loose, so I added a little additional padding to the cups and it fits fine. The neckline is very flattering, I took it on a recent trip to Mexico and was pleased with how well it packed. It was a little wrinkled when I took it out of the suitcase, but a little time on the hanger and it was totally wrinkle free!!
Too big :<
After much debate, and reading other reviews and recommended size charts, I ordered the Small. I am 5 ft 5 inches tall, 121 Ibs, athletic figure, 34B (or 36A) chest. I like a casual, loose fit, which is why I ordered this style but it is just a little too big and hangs too much at the back and sides. Length was OK. Just above the knee. Going to exchange and try the XS. Fingers crossed. Colour is lovely though - more fushia / cerise than purple. Material nice - similar to a swim suit but less lycra. Neck line fab and playing around with the straps gives a slightly different look. Chest support good but you need to play with the cups to get them in the right position first. Great ... throw on to look casual / smart all day / night. Could ... up for sure with nice jewellery / shoes. An eye catcher. Just hope XS fits and doesn't pull around chest or too tight under arm pits. Will let you know!
