Super Feminine, Flattering ...
I love this ... fits true to my 5'9" 140# size. I ordered my normal size 8. Some say it's too big, but I definitely don't think it fits big. I love the longer length. Hits right at my knees, a little lower than the picture of the model. I love how flowy it is at the bottom, super feminine. I bought this in the asphalt. Great corduroy color. It's a little stretchy and hugs my butt and flatters it really well. It's a lighter weight corduroy, so I can wear it in any season, but since I got the asphalt color, it's more of a fall/winter ... LOVE!!!

Cozy, feminine, beautiful
I love this ... 3rd corduroy ... I've ordered. It is a summerweight - which means that it hangs nicely and you can still layer for extra warmth (i.e., tights or leggings). Also this ... looks sexy with boots even though it's conservatively cut (A line at knee). I wear it with the belt (nice double loops). I can't figure out why athleta puts drawstrings in these skirts, but it doesn't matter. I think the ... soft, feminine, and well made. Perfect for fall/winter. I may order in the maple color as well.

feminine, preppy
I already had two of the summer skort versions of this style, and it is great. Shape is feminine, flirty, and the corduroy will last me all winter. I pair it with stockings, or knee sox for a preppy look. Goes anywhere:shopping, out to dinner, everyday running around. Bought the grey and the purple--beautiful and will wear them all fall/winter.

Great!
I have two of the summer skirts & really love the corduroy also! Am older but like to look young plan to wear with tights & boots. I love Athleta!

Cute ...
I am 5'5" 112#, 25" waist, 36" hips. I bought a size 2 because I wear leggings under my skirts in the fall and was worried the ... would sit tight on my hips if I bought a 0. The ... fits over the leggings fine, but does cling a bit to the leggings while walking, so a silky lining would be nice. It is a little large in the waist and while the drawstring is a nice idea, once you tie it you have this lump at your waist from it being tied. But if you knot it to avoid the lump of a bow, then it's too hard to untie later. I think Athleta would do better to mimic the adjustable waist idea that some manufacturers put in children's clothing, rather than a drawstring. The ... flares out cute, I personally like the flounce. It makes it different from most of the other corduroy skirts I've seen. It's a nice length. The material is lightweight, which makes it tend to wrinkle easily in the back after sitting. But, it is a very cute ... running around town in and quite comfortable. I've gotten several compliments.

Cute but not for me
I'm not a ... person but I have 3 of the Whatever lighweight skorts & love them so I thought I'd try the corduroy version. I ordered a 10 & 12 & the 10 fit best but the fabric is heavier so it doesn't drape the same way. While it looked pretty cute I decided that it would probably end up hanging in the closet since I hate to wear hose/tights so rarely if ever wear skirts/dresses in the winter. However if you do like wearing skirts I would recommend this style - note that it is just about knee length!

Athleta does it again
I love Athleta's corduroy - and this ... great complement to the cord pants I already have. The corduroy is lightweight and fine. The color of this ... beautiful and it fits well, although a slight bit snug around the hips. The length is flattering and will go great with boots and a sweater.

Just didn''t like the style
I like these fine, soft corduroy skirts and was hoping this and the Cordoba ... would work for me, but neither looked very good. I just didn't like how they puffed out. Side profile looked like I had 10 extra pounds on. So I had to return it. I got the Small and I'm 5 foot 5 and about 115-120 lbs. It fit fine in the waist, it just didn't look good from a side profile. I wish the snaps would lay flatter too, because on the side profile they kind of stick out a bit. Sadly, it is going back.

cute shape
the material on this ... very thin for corduroy. very cute shape on the ... normally wear a S, sometimes XS for athleta and got size 0 for this ... size 2 probably would sit on around my waist better (but since it's a ... can go anywhere). none of athleta's more structured skirts fit me properly since i think their fit model is very skinny w/o curves. i'm probably a normal size 4 but would def go down a size or two for this ... fun cold weather ... wear around with boots.

What were they thinking?
I'm not sure why the waist on this ... so large. I have a normal woman's waist to hip ratio, but when I put on this ... had to use the drawstring to cinch up several extra inches of fabric. This gave it a bumpy, wrinkly look at the waist. Otherwise, the design is lovely. I love swingy ... fine wale corduroy. I was disappointed because I was so looking forward to wearing this ... work.

Not for me
I love my whenever skort, but this ... version just didn't work for me. I ordered the size 0 in tapenade. The color was perfect, a nice rich loden green, and the ... fit me very well in the waist, hips, rear. But it was too short, hitting me mid thigh, well above the knee. That's definitely not what I was looking for for a fall/winter corduroy ... though I suspected from the description that lenght might be a problem. The fine wale corduroy fabric is very nice, but I don't think it works well with this style. The fabric doesn't really drape, so the ... flares out all around in a stiff way. I'd love to see this fabric and color in a pencil ... please, Athleta Designers, I'll bet you have lots of fit, athletic lady customers of a certain age who'd like to find skirts closer to knee length.
