Surprisingly - these worked!
I have a friend who raves about Athleta clothing, and she does look great in everything she buys from Athleta. She also is 5'1" and weighs 110 lbs soaking wet. I, on the other hand have a much more 'curvy' figure, 5'4", 145 - with abnormally short stocky legs. I was worried these particular ... would be too long - wish they came in short length, without being petite - I just have short legs but am far from petite. But although they were a tad longer than I would have liked, they weren't bad, wearing them around town with clogs kept them off the ground, and ... fitted enough I could tuck them into boots if I am headed out in bad slushy weather. ... really did fit nicely and are very comfortable! I prefer wearing with longer sweaters to cover the booty but not 100% necessary as I do think these are good ... highlight the booty area. All in all a great pair of ... got a regular size M).

I own three pairs of these ... perfect for yoga, although I occasionally run in them, too. I have a curvy rear, and ... fit great. I love the sleek line of the leg and the weight of the fabric. The midnight color is a deep purple which pairs nicely with green.

Love the Kickbooty ...
This is my 4th pair of kickbooty ... LOVE the styling and how flattering they are to a curvy figure! Noticed that these fit about the same as previous years, but the material is a little more thin, but also a little more silky feeling. So, overall they're a keeper. I like my yoga/workout ... fit snug and the kickbooty line seems to fit a little looser than some of Athleta's other ... So, I actually sized down one size from what the size chart is (5'4", 145 and got a medium, but by measurements on size chart should have been a large). This has been consistent with all of the kickbooty line for me. You won't go wrong with these ...

Perfect for jazz class
I have two pairs of ... jazz class and they're the perfect thing. I'm 5'2" with a slim but curvy build and long legs for my height - the regular XS fits me perfectly and hits at just the right length for my jazz sneakers. And ... really do flatter the booty! :) I've been dancing since I could walk, and I haven't found a better pair of ... jazz. Just wish ... weren't so expensive.

Nice fit
The Kickbooty ... does make my booty look pretty good. I have a small waist and am curvy through the hips & thighs. ... define my bum and make me look a little smaller from behind. ... aren't miracle workers from the front view, though. I think I'd like a little more compression in the thighs. But overall, ... comfortable, flattering, and seem to be well made.

Love these!
I love these ... received a gift certificate for Athleta for Christmas and purchased these ... Otherwise ... would be beyond my price point. I must say ... wonderful. I'm 5'4' and athletic but curvy build and the size Medium fits nice....not too snug, not too loose. The material is soft and supportive and doesn't show all the little lumps and bumps. So grateful for the gift!

Very flattering
I tried ... Athleta store, so I knew what to expect. The waist is a little higher than I like, but it is offset by how great it makes my curvy figure look!

Nice ... but not for me
Comfortable ... overall very nice nice fit and fabric, but as some others have mentioned too clingy if you carry weight in hips and thighs. I am 5' 2", 50 +, fit but curvy. Finding it difficult to find ... Athleta in my size (petite large) with a looser fit but also no pockets on back (don't see the point for a yoga ... rarely flattering). Would be nice to see more options for those of us who aren't model size. Have sent back and will be trying some of the other options.

So Comfortable!
A friend of mine gave me a pair of these pants in black and I just fell in love. They are so comfortable a cross between a yoga ... jeans. They were passed to me because they did not fit my friend properly she has very slender legs and they were too loose in the thigh and rear area for her build. I have a more curvy build with a full thigh. They fit me perfectly. Orderd a pair in olive, and will probably get another color soon. I am 5' 5" and 145 lbs. and they fit just right the fabric is substantial enough that they are mistaken for jeans by some but they are much more comfortable. The only complaint is that they are a bit long I may opt to have them shortened. Hope Athleta keeps this one in their line of pants!

Best ... Ever!
After buying 1 pair of these ... immediately ordered 2 more because the fit is perfect for my 5' 9" curvy frame. Our office dress code is business casual and these work great. The comfort is fantastic but the best part of all is they look as good at the end of the day as they did when I first put them on. I balked at first because of the price, but they are one of the best clothes investments I have ever made. Try them, you'll be glad you did!

Skeptic turned believer
I read all the reviews and thought these ... were too good to be true. I ordered a pair to find out for myself and fell in love with them the moment I put them on. I've worn them to run errands and on a casual work day. They are incredibly comfortable. I normally have a hard time fitting my curvy shape as the waist always gaps, but these fit perfectly. They're fit without being snug. I'm 5'5", 120 lbs and ordered the small.

These pants should be called, "Live Your Life Pants"
Grocery shopping, gym, speed walking, bicycling, working, out on the town, out to dinner, did I mention working? I have lived my entire life in these pants for a week. Kickboxed, cardio sculpted, stretch class, pilates, boxers bag. All that jumping and running and the pants stayed put. GREAT pants. Coming off a bout with pneumonia had sidelined me for longer than I expected, and I'm finally back to 5 days a week at the gym. I am 5'3" and 151 pounds. Curvy. I ordered the Medium Regular-Black. I like my pants on the long ish side, and am by no means tripping over the length. These pants fit me great and even though my recovery and lack of activity caused the pounds to pack in, when I wore these pants for the first time, I thought I looked great. Ladies have stopped me to ask about my "jeans". SO funny. The price is steep but worth every penny especially when you consider the free shipping and free return. The only problem? I can't wear them everyday. Once I wear them to the gym I toss them in the washer on delicate and line dry. So now I need to order another pair to wear for the rest of the day! The dark blue it will be. Great pants. BTW, for work, I paired them with a pretty blouse and a boyfriend blazer, boots. They looked great and I looked great in them (if I do say so myself. ; ) I hope this review is helpful.

5'7" size 10, and curvy. I'm so glad to have a store nearby, I can be tough to fit, so I may not have bought them without trying them on. These ... so comfortable and versatile! Awesome for a class, and great for travel. I've even worn them out to dinner. I bought a second pair as well as a pair of the jeggings

Super comfy!
I bought these more for loungewear than for yoga or working out, but think they would be fine for all of the above. The material is very soft and holds it shape well. I'm 5'6" and 155 lbs with a 34 inch inseam and quite curvy. I ordered the LT, knowing they might be long. They are and I'll hem an inch, but rather that than order, wash and have them too short! They hug my curves, but don't make me look lumpy. I love the back pocket details and the zipper pocket on the leg is perfect for a locker key, license or cash. this detailing also makes them great for running errands! The heather gray (not sure that was the exact name) is a great neutral and nice to have something other than black.

Good transition ... workout to life
These workout pants are well made, nice fabric and look flattering on. The waist is unusually loose though. I am curvy and typically wear a large in Athleta bottoms and am going to reorder these in a medium in the hopes that the waist will be tighter but that the pants won't be too tight overall. These pants seem like they would transition nicely from workout to errands with a classier look than typically workout wear.

Great set of pants!
I'm very curvy at 5'4 and 140 pounds. I carry most of my weight in my butt and legs and have a small waist so finding any kind of pants that flatter my figure is a challenge. Barring the length, I just love these pants. Not too bulky so it subtly outlines my small waist without adding more bulk to my butt or legs. Very comfortable.

Fun but not for me
I'm curvy (27" waist, 41" hips, little bit of a Buddha belly) and these ... aren't flattering on me. Probably they're great on someone with a more athletic figure than mine. The fabric is nice although it seems like it might pill easily.

For bigger girls....
I rarely read reviews from bigger girls, so there's my input. I am 5'11" and 190 lbsl, usually at size 14. I ordered XL tall in the Bettona ... fit overall good, except for a little tight in the rear. The problem with that is the pockets do not look good if they are tight. I realized right away, at least with my figure, that I do not need any embellishments on my backside. It just didn't look right. Now, I did try the Bettona boyfriends as well. They are a bit better and I'm on the fence about them. If you are curvy girl with some bootie, I would look for another style.

Not a fan
I wasn't a fan of these. They were nice but just too expensive for ... really didn't flatter my body. I'm 5'4 and 125lbs but my bottom half is more on the curvy side. I wear a 4-6 in jeans normally and ordered a small in these. I wish I didn't have such a tough time finding bottoms that are flattering. I felt as though I had serious thunder thighs in these. I am back to my Nike Low rise workout ... Sadly, they are going back. A medium would make them far too long and they were long already. The rise is perfect; the material is perfect; and the quality seems nice. But I think they are better off for someone a little less bottom heavy.
