Stylish and Warm
After reading reviews of this ... ordered one for myself in Olive color. The ... exactly what I hoped and expected from Athleta. Exceptional quality and style. Love the collar and longer length as well as the fitted bodice. Fabric is soft and warm. I like to wear this ... winter skirts and leggings. I've recently ordered two jackets from Athleta and love them both. I'm 5'6" 138 lbs. and size medium fits me just right.
Worth it!
I got the olive/brownish in Small. Very nice color and the size fits me well. I am considered petite in height (5 feet 3 inches) and mediocre in weight (125 pounds). It is thick enough (it looks thicker than that in the pictures) to wear in San Francisco winter when the temperature is around high 40s and low 50s, a good alternative to my wool jackets, save me some dry cleaning $$.

I am usually not a double brested ... kind of person, LOVE my ... bought the purple one since I have a lot of other dark color jackets, what a nice change of pace! can't wait to wear it tomorrow. It can be dressy and casual, I am going to wear it with a casual dress and tights and boots, can't wait!
Styliish fleece
I was attracted to this ... length (much nicer for covering up over tights, especially for us older ladies) and attractive shaping compared with other fleece jackets. The wide lapels and double breasted design are flattering on my narrow shoullders. Since I am usually a size 8 (5' 6.5 inches, 138 lbsI) I ordered the Smalll. WAY too tight generally, especially at the waist. Exchanged for the Medium. I am keeping it , although the waist is still a little tight - no chance of layers, and I may end up often wearing it open or finagling the snaps. L would be much too large at the top. Fact is, this ... not only creates the illusion of shapeliness, it IS shapely. Best for hourglass figures. The blue color is nice, strong but not nearly as bright as it appears on the screen.
Cozy and stylish
This fleece ... warm, soft and cozy. It feels like wearing a sweatshirt ... but it is longer and more stylish. It looks great with skinny pants and boots, and since it is longer, it would also work with a dress or skirt. I bought the Falcon color, and it is sort of greenish brownish gray. It goes with most other colors. I normally wear size 8 or medium in clothes, and sometimes get large in jackets because I prefer them to be roomy. I ordered this in medium and it is plenty roomy. I noticed a small tear/imperfection in the material after wearing it only a couple times. I'm not sure if it came that way or if I snagged it on something. I hope the material is not easily damaged, because I really like it.
Nice but stinky
Very nice warm ... fit as expected however it has a very stinky chemical smell to it. It does seem to be getting a little better but I can still smell it. This is a perfect ... me as I don't like anything to heavy or warm on 35* plus day's. I am from Michigan and only like really warm jackets when it dips below freezing.
Love this ...
I would have given this ... 5 stars except that it runs big. I ordered a smalI (I'm typically a small: 5'3" 120 lbs) but had to exchange it for an x small and it fits perfect. I love Athleta because I can count on things fitting my body. I have long arms and legs and everything I have ordered has fit. This ... very flattering and slimming. It is very thick, not thin like most fleece jackets. It is stylish enough to be worn as a ... if you are going out for a casual evening.
It's an okay fleece ... design is good although in reality it is not exactly like how it looks on the model. I'm 5'1 and about 110 lbs. I did have to exchange and S for an XS, but the sleeves and body length were still a little long for a petite person. What really made me decide to return it is the smell that both jackets had. I did not want to wait to see if washing would help with the smell.
Hipper than a regular fleece but has design flaws
I bought this for a more stylish alternative to my fleece jackets. It's overall style is more polished and I like that it's different, but there are a couple of issues. The sleeves are quite tight, so you can't really wear anything thicker than a thin cotton shirt underneath. Also, the waist seam is awkward. it's above the natural waist but below an empire waist. The double breasted snap buttons are not very functional. They take an effort to do up and you end up really poking yourself to get them fastened sometimes.

I bought this ... last year in purple. LOVE the color not the extra material built up in the front due to the fleece material. Although I never returned it, I rarely wear it. I wanted to love it as I am a huge fan of this brand and love their fleece jackets, this one is just not too fllatering....5 foot 5, 132 pounds, small fits.
