Just right
Based on other reviews, I'm one of the lone customers who found this ... too large. I'd initially sized up (based on reviewers' feedback) but returned it to size *down* for a perfect fit. (I'm 5' 100 lbs, usually an XS in Athleta. The XXS was a perfect fit in this ... help others decide, this info may help: The ... thick and windproof, so layers underneath aren't necessary. (In fact, I was overheated when I layered, and I'm a typically chilly person. I wear only a base cami under this, and am completely toasty in 20-30 degree weather. That's a first for me!) I find that lack of typical winter layers really adds freedom of movement, and of course accounts for the smaller size I needed. I'll still need gloves when it's in the 20s, but the body, sleeves and neck are completely warm. Sleeve fit is slightly long, but that's to be expected since I'm a Petite. Love the 360 degree reflectivity and cheery but-not neon lime color which also helps visibility. (I'm 47 and normally shy away from colors too bright, but this is very wearable and flattering.) A winner that I'd repurchase in a heartbeat.

I bought this for cold day runs in Chicago. So far it works well. It is very wind and water proof. It's weight will be better for colder than 40 degree days. My only slight complaint is the weight of the ... bit heavy. I didn't realize how weighed down I was until I took it off after one of my long runs for marathon training. Not a deal breaker though. The sleeve length is great for me as being 5'11" I often have a hard time finding coats that have long enough sleeves. There are also plenty of convenient pockets to stash my Gels and such. Overall, I'm very happy with this coat.

very warm jacket
I live in a cold climate and running at this time of the year requires a jacket that is lightweight and offers warmth and this jacket does both. I love the hand holes on the arms it helps when I am swinging my arm to keep the sleeves down and in place.

Beautiful but large
I ordered this beautiful jacket during one of the sales: My usual XS wasn't available (I'm 5' tall, 100 lbs for reference) so based on several reviews here saying the jacket ran small, I confidently ordered the next size up, S. Big mistake! I'm not sure what to make of others who sized up, because when I did I was absolutely swimming in it. The sleeve length was a good 3-4 inches too long, the body width was huge, and the shoulders were buckling due to all of the extra fabric. (This ... fabric is soft but thick and stiff, meaning that extra fabric won't "drape." If it's too large on you, it sticks out stiffly away from the body.) Just wanted to share my sizing experience for other customers: I'm definitely reordering because it's a *fabulous* jacket, but I'll actually be sizing *down* so that this thick fabric lays sleekly against the body. I'll bet it's extremely flattering when tightly fitted. Enjoy!

Just not for me
I ordered this jacket because I needed an inbetween seasons jacket. Unfortunatley I am very short waisted 5'4" and it was #1 very long on me along with the sleeves being to long also.. What made my decision even easier was the ruffle that ran down the zipper. (?) Just not a look for me. I like my athletic wear to look sporty not frilly and girly. :( disappointed
