Cozy winter ...
I bought this ... Grape Jam color and the color is beautiful. It's a warm, winter ... wear this to work with tights and boots and get lots of compliments. I even use the hood on those drizzly, rainy days when I miss the bus to my building (.25 miles from parking lot to office). I am 5'1.5" - 5'2" and I weigh 106lbs. I ordered an XS, my usual size, and it fit perfectly. It is @ an inch or so above my knees, so, I like the length. For me, during the day, it doesn't "grow" like another reviewer said. It keeps it shape (Unlike the Cotton Rib Zippy ... which I also purchased). It is fitted, so if you have body issues, you may want to consider a sweater ... like the Sochi ... which isn't as fitted. My only complaint is that it's very expensive. I would love another one, but I'm having a hard time ordering it at full price. If Athleta has another one of their rare sales, then I will buy another one.
Comfortable!
I Love the ... Comfortable and flattering. Not bulky, which I was afraid of. I am 5'5 1/2 and weigh #122. I ordered a size small which fits perfectly. I bought this ... boysenberry and the color is perfect. Not too bright or dull. The ... very flattering. The sleeves are the perfect length. This ... long enough to wear with just tights but is also flexible enough to wear over a pair of jeans or leggings. I prefer tights to jeans. This ... perfect for cold days!
This ... kept me toasty...
I wore this ... recent trip to Europe. It was drizzly and rainy cold pretty much the entire trip. This ... kept me toasty the entire time and the hood came in handy for flipping on and off with the rain. In fact, the ... had a hood that was actually big enough to cover my wild,crazy curls, making me love it even more. The ... great, heavy material, and perfect for layering. The sleeves were also long enough for my arms and the length of the ... thought was great as well, not too short as many Athleta ... me. A medium fit me slightly big, but I wanted it a little large so I could layer underneath it. My 5'10, athletic frame also fit a small size great as well.

I wore this ... Seattle the first time in December. It was freezing but this ... my Tessa boots, a pair of leggings and my Athleta fleece coat, kept me very warm. I'm 5'3" and 122 pds and the small fit really well. My husband says the ... "sexy" and I can see wearing it out, to travel in, and for errands. It's a great ... worth the money!

Had several unfortunate attempts at getting the Organic Ribbie Hoody Sweater ... which Athleta was fabulous at trying to rectify...I gave up and decided to order this ... Though I haven't worn it yet, it seems to be less fitted than the organic ribbie hoody ... more forgiving to most figures. I am 5'1 and 102 lbs and the XS fits pretty well...much better than the XS in the organic ribbie ... ordered the Grape Jam and it is a beautiful color. The ... nice and warm and will look great with tights and boots. I had no trouble with the pocket (like some other customers), but I could see it being a problem if the ... little bigger size. My size is fitted so that doesn't seem to be an issue. Overall, a very cute ... winter. Thanks Athleta for your great customer service!
after a couple of years of waiting...
I finally bought this ... because I loved the purple. I ordered it in a small, which fit perfectly, however I wondered how a medium would fit. So I ordered the medium, which fit almost the same. Figuring that you never know how something will wash, I kept the medium. I'm glad I did, because it does seem to have shrunk a bit- overall and in length. I machine washed on gentle and line dried as directed. I will keep the ... because I do love the ... heavy cable knit is so nice, and I love that it's NOT wool because I can't wear wool. However, I agree with other reviewers that the sleeves are a little too short for the thumb holes to be functional. I wish the ... were a little more roomy and a little less fitted after washing... I'm 5'6.5", 135 lbs, and generally wear a 6 or an S in Athleta's clothes... so I really can't imagine sizing up to a large.
Almost exactly what I wanted!
This ... so cute, almost perfect. I have been searching all season for a versatile, non itchy sweater ... never even thought about checking Athleta for a ... Stumbled upon this baby while looking for a sports bra. Lucky me. Love the heavy cable, the hood is super cute. Not itchy at all (and I am very fussy about itchiness) and love that this is machine washable. My only complaint is that it is too short. I am only 5'7" but this is probably 3-4 inches above my knee. Wish it were more knee length as that would add to the versatility. Petite girls can hem (an inexpensive fix) but there is no cure for us taller girls when a ... too short! I am a size 6-8 and the M fit me best. Also, this is a bit pricy and probably more than I would normally pay for this sort of ... but it is so cute I gulped down the price.
Cute little ... but...
I first ordered this ... Brownie color, in a Small (I'm 5'3, 125 lbs) and it was too long and not flattering. I exchanged it for the violet color (same size) because on the website, it looked like it might be shorter...and it is! About 2" shorter, above the knee length which fits me much better. Very soft and very comfy ... pocket really is a flaw IMO, which is why I only gave it 4 stars. I will stitch it so it's not bothering me anymore.The ... too form fitting for work, but for that, I have the Durango ... which I LOVE.
The dress "kept growing on me"
I was so excited to get this dress! I wore this dress for a night with my fitness team and as the night grew longer, so did this dress! Yes, as each hour passed, my dress was getting longer in the arms and streched out in the length. I wore this dress for a total of five hours. I LOVE this dress, but I need my clothes to "stay put" when I wear them. I wonder if others that purchased this dress are having the same problem? One more thing... Athleta, WHY did you put a pocket on the side of this ... not needed and did not fit the design of this ... all. I am noticing that most of my purchases from Athleta requires the needed "danced in" test before heading out! I am not sure if I am able to return this ... see if a smaller size is needed? Calling Athleta soon....
Not quite what I hoped
I really wanted to love this ... but felt that it was too expensive to overlook the aspects of it I didn't like. I am 5'7" and 145 lbs. I ordered a medium after reading reviews that suggested the ... ran small. I actually think a small would have fit better, but the medium was ok. The material is soft and not itchy at all. I also liked the thumb holes in the sleeve. The ... fit well and was flattering, except that the pocket does not lie flat and is visible under the ... wasn't horrible, but I was not willing to overlook it given the high price of this ... concerns voiced by other reviewers about it shrinking when washed or not retaining its shape after a day of wear.
Confused
I really want to like this ... based on the reviews I read before ordering this ... ordered the small, but after receiving the ... trying it on I was disappointed. It fits pretty true to size is very soft and seems like it would be a great winter ... tights and boots. Im between a size 4 and 6 and the ... fit, however very very clingy, the cable knit pattern on someone that has an athletic build is "eh"....my husband didnt care for it at all. I really like the idea of the ... so I want to try a Medium instead of the small to see if that makes a difference.
