Fits much better than Nike
I am 5'10" and wear a size 11 ... buy a size 12 in running shoes. Historically, I have bought Nike due to having fitting problems with the arch (I have flat feet and wear orthotics), but they are a bit narrow at the front. These fit perfectly! I will definitely be ordering these again when it's time!

I just wore my NB 876 Trail Shoes in the Bull Canyon 5K . A friend and I signed up to walk it . She'd never done an event run or walk and I hadn't done an event run since the early 80's...but was excited to walk one. Figured we could make the walk easy even wanted to sign up for the 10K walk when we got there but my friend was unsure so we stuck to our original plan. It was a cool but beautiful morning and my shoes were so comfortable and supportive... just added to my energy level. Next time we're signing up for the jog!!! The shoes were true to size and love the fit comfort and support!

I must admit...I ordered these initially because of the color...I love green! In addition - they are lightweight and comfortable. I tend to use trail shoes for everything...working out, hiking, carting kids around. Great purchase!
very comfortable shoes, perfect for walking
Although these shoes are slightly heavier than I'm used to, they are an incredible trail ... My feet are well protected; even on the rockiest of trails I still don't feel the rocks, which was impressive to me. I run hilly, uneven terrain all the time on my own and with my cross country team. They also dry quickly, which is important. These shoes had all the support and protection I needed, and I am running great now. I normally wear a size 8, which these are. They feel a bit roomy, but it's not an issue. Even hiking in these has been fun. With the good traction, I feel invincible! I have always been a New Balance fan, and green happens to be my favorite color. You don't see shoes in cool colors like that very often.

These run true to size. I ordered my true size (6-1/2M) and a half size larger. I tried them both while wearing thin sox and medium weight sox. Although my true size felt a little snug at first when putting it on over the thicker sox, my true size turned out to be the best fit with either one. I have worn them for long walks on pavement and dirt trails. They are comfortable and feel supportive enough. There are lots of good athletic ... out there and I picked these mainly for the lime green color.

I like the darker colors so that it does not show the dirt and also I love the green. Shoes are comfortable, but not the most comfortable I have had. You have to lace the shoestrings all the way to the top hole because the tongue is shaped funny and pops out if you don't.

I love these shoes!!!!! I have been competing in trail races for the past two years in a worn out pair of NB's and it is so nice to finally have a pair of shoes with a design more geared to the trails. I have already tried them out on some snow/ice/mud terrain and the support and traction was great no rolled ankles or stubbed toes. My only complaint is the width, the shoes are a B width and when I ordered them, I did not see an option for a wider width...if you have a wider foot and/or a higher arch, then these shoes may not be as comfortable for you.
NOT for high arches
I ordered this ... because I like New Balance and because I have high arches and have a hard time finding a ... has enough vertical room in the ... - this ... marketed as appropriate for runners with high arches. However, this ... does NOT have enough vertical room in the ... my high forefoot and the top of my foot became numb after wearing these around my house for an hour or so; this is because the tongue is sewn into the ... least with lace ups there is more room for the rise in my forefoot. These shoes are for people who have a flatter foot, but probably do not pronate too much. I will be sending these back. They are pretty cute so I can give at least 1 star and 1 star for NB.
I returned these shoes because I didn't like the way they fit. They weren't very comfortable.
