Fabulously Happy
I am preparing for a trip to Aruba and I just received my new swimwear. I couldn't be happier! At 52 carrying 137 pounds this bottom is fabulous. I was looking for something that was comfortable and attractive and this is it. The ... perfect ... better than I expected. I also bought the scrunch bikini top and it is wonderful as well. I will continue ordering from Athleta.
Finally, a brown shade available in swimwear 2011
Very flattering cut for those wanting to be modest, yet attractive in swim skorts. The skirt legnth is neither too high, or too low. I would order this item again. I researched many swimwear catalogs, and found that Atheta is the only one to offer this type of item in a shade of brown. Thanks Athleta!

When it comes to swimwear, I find I always have to get a medium bottom, but in this case, I found it was too large, overall, and had to exchange it for a small. The small ... perfectly and it's so cute an versative. I bought it in black and can wear it with a variety of my other bathing suit tops -- it goes well with everything. It allows a little extra coverage than a standard bikini bottom and is very comfortable.
Great swim skirt
I bought this in two colors (sangria and black) this season to go with tankini tops. I'm not 20 anymore, so I like the coverage this gives me without making me look like an old lady. The fabric is beautiful (all my Athleta swimwear seems to last forever and look great!) and I like the style with the front crossover flap and tiny bit of shirring on the waistband which is not just plain, but interesting and yet simple. The inside is fully lined with lime green fabric. I like that it ... securely, but the "waist" doesn't make bulges on my not-20-anymore had-4-kids hips. I'm 5'5", 120 lbs, and I ... size 6 in Athleta pants. I usually go up a size on swim bottoms and the medium ... me perfectly.

Thanks to everyone who submitted reviews and helped me order the right size on the first try. I NEVER order swimwear online and was very pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Sporty Shirred Swim Skirt in size small and the ... great. I am 5'5" and weigh 118-120 and the small is perfect! I'm typically a size 4-6 (size 4 in Old Navy pants). I would love a little longer skirt, but the ... very flattering.
