I am preparing for a trip to Aruba and I just received my new swimwear. I couldn't be happier! I'm 52, wear a 34C, and have tried on many swimsuit tops that made me look too busty or feel like over ripe fruit. There isn't too much padding and the ... perfect (I ordered a medium). It is also very comfortable. I highly recommend this top.
Coverage is just right!
Thanks to everyone who submitted reviews and helped me order the right size on the first try. I NEVER order swimwear online and was very pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Scrunch Bikini Top in size M and it ... great! I am 5'5", weigh 118-120 and wear a 34C cup and the cut, proportion and coverage are exactly what I want: coverage by my pits and some nice cleavage in the front.
Size
I have found that most of the bathing suit tops on this site run a little large. In a roxy, or body glove bathing suit i would normally be a medium small. However in Athleta swimwear i can ... into a small or xsmall. Other then that i love how the swimwear looks on, and it holds up great in the water!

i was looking for a match for a pair of cocoa swim short bottoms i had from last year. this is the perfect match. kudos to athleta for matching the materials from year to year. unfortunately, i will be returning this item. i should have read the review below titled "can't use it for intended purpose." i could have written an identical review. i have another bikini top from athleta in the same size, but apparently this style is cut WAAAY skimpier, and my nipples nearly popped out while i was very casually swimming laps. i still think it is cute, so i will try returning it for the next size higher and see how that goes. overall, i love athleta swimwear, especially the short bottoms, so i am willing to try something else. and thankfully athleta has the "don't sweat it" guarantee so i can return it even after swimming!

Sending this and the matching no string bottoms back. I won't wear intimates, swimwear, or workout wear made in China. I remember the days when Athleta items were made in USA (before they were brought into the Gap fold). I'd gladly pay more for their items if they could be USA made again.
