fleece leggings for women - reviews

Wishing for more colors and styles
Love these pants. Dressier than other fleece pants and tights. Used to come in different styes and colors, brown, navy, gray. I'd buy them in every combination. Perfect for winter cool indoors, car errands and marketing. Too nice for my on the-floor exercising.

I'm 5'4", 115# with slim hips, athletic legs--I usually need petite ... bought the regular XS to wear with heeled Danskos & Ugg clogs. Also bought the petite S to use with flat classic Ugg boots. The petite XS was too snug in the waist & hips while the regular S was too big and way too long. I live in fleece ... during the cooler months and these are perfect for my casual work place.

WOW! Best cold weather hiking ... ever!!!
I rarely rave about clothing. I'm 5'10, about 157 lbs., athletic, and usually wear a 6 long in ... have a hellish time finding ... fit me. Moreover, the few companies whose clothing fits me have really deteriorated in quality lately. These ... however, not only fit perfectly and are the perfect length (not too long, like some of the "long" or 'tall" ... I've ordered from Gap, JCrew, and others), but they are THE MOST COMFORTABLE ... I've ever owned! They're soft on the inside, fitted, but not tight, and they don't make you sweat like some fleece ... do, but they keep you perfectly warm in 32-degree weather. Plus, they don't easily snag, despite looking and feeling very soft on the outside. I'm about to buy two more pairs just to ensure that I always have them!

true love :)
I LOVE these pants! They are great for doing everything in the winter. I can't wait to break them out around the end of October through March. After March, I wear the Bettona pants. These pants are no frills, warm and flattering fit. I am 5'6" tall and about 115# with a slender build. I could live in these pants and pretty much do in the winter. I wear them with clogs or flats and usually a fleece top. I find myself taking them off at the washer and putting them back on the next day. They are the BEST. Well worth the money. I gained some weight (about 30 lbs last year) and got them in a bigger size. They were still flattering...but now I'm back into the Small size and they are getting worn out after about 5+ years of wear (lots of wear :)....the fabric is thinning around the butt. Now I need a new pair of smalls. Wish they came in a chocolate brown color ... that would look cool with my natural colored winter cable sweaters/wraps. Hoping...

I''m never taking them off!
These are my favorite ... ever! So warm, stretchy & nice looking. I feel like I'm in my pj's but could go just about anywhere in them. I want another pair! Glad I got them on sale, but they are worth every penny - washed up nice too. Bonus - pet hair brushes off, unlike regular fleece which just attracts it.

I''m wearing them now!
I love these ... running, hiking or just hanging out at home. I also have the leggings style and I wear those under my ski ... really are warm and they don't pill or pull - even when the dog jumps up on me!

Power Stretch Polartec ...
Love these ... 10 years ago I bought leggings in this material from Landsend, they carried them a couple of seasons and then discontinued them, I've been looking for them ever since until I found them here at Athela. I hope they last as long as the Landsend leggings (they still look good after 10 years). I've gotten more compliments, I've worn 1 of the 3 pair I bought almost everyday since Christmas.

Love these pants!
I wanted a pair of warm "fleece style" pants and saw these on the Athleta site. I first ordered the low rise style in Small my usual size and according to size chart. They fit, but were snug and a little lower than I expected and I like low rise pants. [...] I wear them to lounge around the house, run errands, go for walks etc. They look good also! I had a pair of fleece pants several yrs ago and they were not flattering at all. Nice to not have to sacrifice style to get the warmth. It really helps me to see info here on fit--so ihope this can help others... I am 5'2" wigh 110 pounds--hips 36.5 & waist 26.5 ----if you normally wear a small and like pants not too snug I would size up.

Could live in these!
These ... extremely comfortable, breathable, and surprisingly wind resistant for winter running. They would be a bit too warm, I think for indoor workouts or summer running. But I wear them all the time for lounging around the house and for skiing, snowshoeing, etc. ... do not gap out in the back which is a constant problem for me and I was a little worried about buying ... no draw string for that reason. But the waist/hips/upper thigh fit is nice and snug, and the wider leg is flattering without looking like a "flare" leg.

not for me, but got the tights
I'm 5'2" with substantially toned muscular legs and bottom, 118# currently, usually a size Petite 2, and I tried these on in the store. My usual gym pants are Nike (size SS), but not every Nike style works to get a smooth line at the top of my substantial thighs; likewise, these pants in the XS and S (regular) did not work for me. But just as Zella slim leggings work for me, the Polartec Power Stretch TIGHTS (in a snug regular XS) worked for me. I have a collection of warm fleece outdoorsy sport pants in my never ending search for pants to keep me warm in the winter, and this material is fabulously plush and thick! No surprise that the regular pants were much too long for me; however, the regular tights length work fine.

After several tries, I finally got these pants to (mostly) fit! They are perfect for winter --- warm, with a soft smooth exterior, and a pocket. I loved the low rise version, but most of my tops weren't long enough to meet it, so I really needed the regular rise. I normally take an Extra Small or Small Petite (being 5 ft and 110 lbs), but had to go with a Medium Petite, with this pant. In the smaller sizes, the length was too small and the fit too snug around the rear. The Medium Petite is a little too big in the waist, but otherwise fits perfectly. I also had to return defective versions of this pant 3 times (one had a crooked leg seam, that ran diagonally across the front, and two had one leg an inch longer than the other). Now I finally have a non defective pant that fits, but you'd think, for the price, they'd have better quality control. It was worth all the hassle though, for a pair of fitted fleece pants with a pocket (No one else makes anything like it).
