I am a distance runner and am always looking for the perfect ... shorts. I think I found them! These are great--a much better fit and more flattering than any of the Nike shorts. I am 6' tall and ordered the medium, which is my usual Athleta size. The mediums are a little snug in the waist but the overall fit is great. The length and weight were perfect on me. These make for a very comfortable ... also very flattering and not bulky or roomy looking. I will definitely be ordering more. I think I will size up to a large with my next purchase, but I am keeping the mediums too. It's a close call for me re sizing, but other than that, these are fantastic.
Great shorts
I have lots of shorts of similar style from other manufacturers, and most of them give you a "bubble butt" and not in a good way. I loved the way this short looked on the model, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm a 5'4" 125 lb runner who is picky about ... shorts. I LOVED this short in size S -- and it did not give me "bubble butt" -- somehow the style does not balloon out like traditional sports brand ... shorts. I selected the gray color so that it would go with more of my tops and bras, and I was happy with the color and style. If you are looking for longer cut shorts, this might not be for you, but if you aren't bothered by shorter shorts while ... would be the short for you.

These are so comfortable to ... just the right length to cover up the backside. I have given them as the perfect ... other runners. They really flatter my legs.

I just ordered 2 more pairs of these short after my first pair. These are great for ... could probably use more secret pockets for gels and such, but the one will do for me. They don't ride up or get caught in between the legs and no bunching up in the front like some other shorts. I ran an 8 mile ... them the other day and they were perfect. They didn't even show my sweat in the back and I wore the lime green ones. I wear size 30 in pants and ordered a M and they fit just fine. I definitely recommend them to any runner!

These shorts are great - possibly my new favorite ... short - and I will be ordering more pairs. The first time I wore them was an extremely hot, humid day. They wicked sweat really well, and were very comfortable for my entire 6-mile ... no riding up, chafing, or sticking to my skin. The fit is generous, perfect for a not so-skinny ... like me. I ordered my usual size and they fit well. They were roomier through the thighs than average - a good thing as far as I'm concerned, though thinner runners might want to order a size smaller than usual.

Love these shorts. They are the most comfortable running shorts I have ever worn. I have now purchased them as gifts for my running pals and bought myself another pair. They are lightweight, don't ride up and are very flattering. Highly recommend.

Mostest Favoritest shorts EVER. I'm a runner, and I want the best, most comfortable fit when I run. These are great for running - great for lounging and yesterday, wore them to the pool! They are the perfect length, lightweight and fashionable. My only mistake in ordering them - waited too long! Should've got them earlier as I have hardly taken them off since I got them. It's hard for me to find a short that fits because I'm pretty "tiny" and too often, a small is too big. The small in Athleta wear has been perfect. They know their sizing - this has been true for shirts and bathing suits as well!

I cannot say enough good things about these shorts. They are light, cute, easy to care for, and not very expensive. I am an avid runner and I own four. I noticed the recent two I bought had better material for the inner panties type portion, as well as for the string at the waist. Good to know Athleta is constantly improving its products!
cute but big
I am a 4-6 bottom and I order mediums in all the kick booty or tighter fitting shorts for a more comfortable fit. This one however I always order in a small. Plus the waist still tends to be too puffy for me....but I deal with it because overall the shorts are cool and comfy [and you can easily wear without undies since they have a fun panty lining] and a 'must' in the runners and gym rat's wardrobe!

I was skeptical about spending so much money on a pair of shorts when I have been happy with my less expensive pairs. I love the colors and that they are like ... shorts with the inner lining and key pocket. But they are a little wide in the legs and the material is a little weird. Because of both of these, the 1dt time I went ... them they made a noise when I ran and well as crept up my inner thighs. I will end up keeping them, because it's not worth returning, but won't use them for ... runners out there, stick to ... can actually try on!
