Obsessed!
I am in love with these headbands. I typically have issues with getting headaches with tight headbands, but not at all with these. I have it in four colors now, and I wear them every day while at the gym. I also wear them out and about because the colors are so fun! I would definitely recommend them, they keep my hair back, are super cute, don't cause headaches, and wash well.

Love these headbands! I purchased two for myself and two for a friend. We both absolutely love them! They stay put and look cute. Not too tight, doesn't pull at your hair and doesn't move. I workout hard at the gym and these headbands stayed put! Love Athleta!
Three Strand Headband
I was hesitant to buy this headband because of all the poor reviews, but I really loved the look so I thought I'd give it a chance. I'm so glad I did because I love it! I've worn it nearly every day in the week I've had it and haven't had any trouble with slipping. When I go to the gym or go running I make sure the strands are closer to the front of my head and they're close together, and that's worked great. And I think I have a pretty average size head (although I guess I don't really know) and I don't have any trouble with it being too tight or loose. Love it!
I love this headband! My hair always has fly aways around my face and this kept them pinned down without slippage. The three bands and thickness worked much better than the one band Goody no slip brand that a person can buy at many stores. The band running closest to the back of my head did slip a little bit the first time I wore it, but I found that if I simply bring that band closer to the front of my head, it stayed in place just fine. I would highly recommend this hairband. Plus, I got a lot of compliments from gym friends and questions as to where I found it.

I'd been dying for this headband in black [...]I got the off white and LOVED it! [...] it was mine! My hair is long but fine and this is the first headband to hold it properly during everything from aerobics to yoga. It looks great in and out of the gym and -- it WORKS!
Performance and style!
Had my new "Three Strand Headband" on and I give it 4 stars for peformance. The reason I gave if four stars is because I had to adjust a few times during a very active gym class but overall it did its job. I give it 5 stars for style. Looks great and I received a compliment on a stylish black headband. I would purchase another.
Stays put
This is the first ... works for me. I have long straight fine thin hair. The perfect combo for disaster when it comes to ... However this one works for me. I don't know if its the material or the three bands but it stays. It's not perfect but it made it through a 90min hot yoga class and a day in the gym so I'm happy.
Totally Cute
I love this! I have gotten into wearing Athleta's head bands recently for Yoga and the gym instead of ponytails. They look much better, work just as well and don't ruin your curls like putting your hair in a ponytail.
Looks good, not bad performance
The headband does slide around some, I think it is probably impossible for a manufacturer to take into account the size of everyone's head. However, I have found that it does stay put if you secure it with bobby pins and really does look good! I have worn it twice so far to the gym and have received many compliments.
Disappointed
Disappointed by the three strand headband. It doesn't stay in place at all. I wear my straight hair pulled back in a pony tail while at the gym and in yoga class. It doesn't keep my hair in place and slips backwards off my head. (It would probably work better when I wear my hair wavy/curly.) Generally I wouldn't recommend this to anyone that doesn't have coarse or curly hair. I have a headband with a silicon strip in the center. It works wonderfully. The three strand headband would be better if each stand had the same type of strip.
Cute but not effective...
Bought this and tried it at the gym today. It just didn't stay on! Perhaps if my head - or hair - were bigger it would work. I don't think one size fits all works for head bands. It's a shame because I wanted an Athleta headband but now I'm wearing my Lulu headbands with my Athleta gear :(
