Love the Sherrindipity bathing ... top--I ordered a large very nice bust coverage (I'm a 36 D) and it's the perfect length, most tankini tops run short on me (I'm 5'7"). I bought it in white so that I can wear it with all the different color bathing ... bottoms that I have--I have not worn it in water yet so I'm not sure if it will be see thru, I doubt it because it has a nice foam insert for extra support in the bust.

I am an active DD mother and enjoying wearing a bathing ... top that keeps everything in and also let's me stay active with my kids or what I am doing outdoors. When out on the beach, it is good to know that nothing is going to pop out. Also with the extra thick ... strap it relieves the pain around my neck. I love your tops and bottem and how they mix & match

The ... bathing ... fitted nicely. It is not too bulky and make my curves look even better. Hides the "four children stomach" perfectly without being matronly. Love it!!

After reading the great reviews on this ... ordered it in a tall small and medium. I am approx. 125 lbs., 5'6", barely an A cup and wear a 4/6. I kept the medium tall size, and I love it. It's long enough to hide my post baby belly, and the shirring helps, as well. It sometimes is difficult to find bathing ... tops that fit small chested women, but this one does the job perfectly. I can bend down, move and swim without worrying about gaping. I plan to order another one of these for next summer! The small tall ... fit okay, but I felt like it was just a little too snug for my liking.

Just got this and had to write a review, which I normally would not do. Looks really good, as other reviews confirm, just wanted to share these details. I'm 5', 120 lbs, muscular with really broad shoulders, 34A and wear size 2-4. I only wear ... suits, since I'm no longer in my 20s (no more string bikinis) and since figuring out it's the most flattering style on my broad shoulders. This is the perfect ... I'll probably order other colors in the future to go with whatever bikini bottoms I purchase. I'm still in good shape but have a pretty bad mummy tummy after 2 kids, with diastasis and loose skin that just kinda hangs on me, and my main goal these days is hiding my belly. I ordered the SMALL TALL and mission accomplished! It comes down over my bottoms, and the shirring allows me to pull it up a little to camoflage the belly, it feels very supportive, and fits well in the chest. So, if this sounds like you, go for the tall size, it's worked out perfectly for me!

Received my very first Athleta order yesterday & I'm hooked! The Shirrendipity ... Tankini is the BEST tankini I've found! I ordered it in black & love it so much I'm ordering another in a different color. We're traveling to MI for 9 days, so I've been frantically trying to find a bathing ... fits. I'm very out of shape due to a recent injury & unemployment, & to my horror NONE of my bathing suits fit--yikes! I've always been blessed with a flat stomach no matter how much I weigh or what kind of shape I'm in, but I now have a "stomach" for the first time ever--more than just a little "pudge" or "muffin top," sadly. Ah, aging--I guess things start to redistribute once you're almost 40! Enter the tankini (my first). I didn't want to put myself thru the horrors of dressing rooms, flourescent lighting & salespeople as witnesses, so I searched for tankinis online. Ended up ordering from 3 different places & all are going back except this one. The shirring is like magic; it hides my stomach bulges completely! I was worried about the lack of support for the girls--I'm a C/D cup with quite a bit of droopage & usually need underwire + molded cups--but this top totally supports & lifts the ladies! Haven't worn it to the beach yet, but I did test it out at home by jumping around, running a bit & stretching--everything stayed in place! Also ordered the Shirred Bra Cup Tankini (which doesn't come in Tall), & while that looks good too, the girls actually look better & feel more supported in the non bra cup Shirrendipity Tankini. Also, the material is to die for; it's feels incredibly soft, luxurious & well made. Huge bonus: when I walked into the room wearing this, the hubby's eyes almost popped out of his head, lol! He absolutely LOVED it & even encouraged me to order another one (that NEVER happens). I'm 5'9" with a long torso, 38C/D, & I ordered a Large Tall; fits perfectly! And because it's so stretchy & well made, I think I'll still be able to wear this once I get back into shape. THANK YOU, ATHLETA!!!
Great Basic Swim ...
I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but I have found them to be immensely helpful when swim ... shopping on this site, so I am taking the time to put my two cents in. I have, for the second year in a row, just spent a small fortune in Athleta swim suits. I am 5'7, 135-140 pounds with a tall slim, athletic build, and have had two children in the past five years. I have a small waist (now a little softer post baby), a muscular "bubble" butt (also now a little softer :) , and have a hard time finding suits that are not made for a 15-year old stick figure, or if the ... fits everywhere else, the low rise puts my back side on display more than I would like. These suits overall have fit the bill and I, though cost conscious on many things, have found these suits to be well worth the extra money for me to be happy with them and comfortable when pool side with our social groups. This ... particular was a great fit. I already had a black tankini, but I liked that this one hugged just a little bit to give a little more shape and it won't feel like a loose tent when I get it wet. Great basic piece for when I don't feel brave enough to put the post baby tummy out there for everyone to see.
Awesome swim top!
Just received this top and am thrilled with the fit. I'm 5'4" (ish), 130lbs and fairly small chested. Always on the hunt for bathing ... tops that flatter my mom to-two kids figure, and this one did not disappoint. The ... provides great support and the tank is very slimming. I got the medium based on other reviews...my chest is small enough that a small would have been okay, but I think I would have felt like I was wearing Spanx over my belly. The ... adjusts wonderfully so the medium will work well. I got the purple--gorgeous color.
Good tummy coverage
The ... placement on the chest feels comfortable, secure, and not bulky with adequate thickness. I like the tummy coverage as it isn't too tight, lays nicely, and the shirred effect helps create a nice look. All bathing suits crinkle when wet and I like that this is inherent to the design. I wasn't a fan of ... tops as I don't like something pulling on my neck, but this ... top doesn't feel like it is pulling when I have it tied to the right spot to provide support and coverage for the chest.
Athleta gets it right again!
I have a couple of the Athleta wrap tankini tops that I love and highly recommend, but wanted to try a different style and went with the Shirrendipity ... Tankini. I was sure I would end up sending it back because it couldn't possibly fit as well as the others- I was wrong- I love this top too! I usually wear a small in tops, but I tend to order up a size in bathing suits, and these are no exception (which is why I rated that it runs small, as the medium fits perfectly). I am a barely B cup, 5'3", 120lbs, fairly athletically built- but I have my share of post pregnancy flaws to hide. This is comfortable- the neck tie doesn't pull like some halters do, supportive, and hides my tummy (stretchmarks and a bit of flab ugh!). I wear these tops with the oceanside shorts bathing ... bottoms, which I also highly recommend. Flattering and comfortable while being athletic instead of frumpy- bathing ... love!
LOVE this tankini ...
If you are tall with a long torso, this tankini ... am 6' tall with a very long torso, and this ... fits perfectly. I bought a size 8 Tall. I also bought the coordinating bottoms to go with it. Everything is covered, with no flash of my tummy showing, even when I raise my arms. The ... style ... very flattering too, and I am an A cup. I will be ordering another one or two of these suits since the fit is so great. Thank you, Athleta, for designing a ... truly fits tall women!
