A suit to love
After ordering the Emerald bay Racer back tankini and finding it too big, I ordered the lifegaurd red Shirrendipity halter. I love it!! The color is very flattering and it is just the right fit. I am 42, 135lbs and 34d. The med was just right. The shirring along the sides is just enough to cover any minor tummy bulges but not look like you are "trying" to cover anything! the ... just the right coverage without being vulgar. I am going to wear it with the Emerald Bay reversable med tide bottoms. The colors work great together. I am thinking that I may need to order at least 1 more color in this top because I love it so much!!

Great Fitting Tankini Top!
I ordered this halter tankini in size medium, color gray. I'm 5' 10" with a medium build and it fits perfectly. Not too long or too short. It feels secure on the chest, but still looks feminine and cute. I can move around freely in the water without having to worry. Just got Open Water SCUBA certified and starting surfing in Oregon - and the halter tankini worked well under a wetsuit. I'm sure it would be great for both activities in warm climates too. Can't wait to try it out on an east coast beach vacation (without a wetsuit) in a few weeks! Was also a hit with my boyfriend - he likes the sporty look, but appreciated the V cut in the front. :)

Good tummy coverage
The halter placement on the chest feels comfortable, secure, and not bulky with adequate thickness. I like the tummy coverage as it isn't too tight, lays nicely, and the shirred effect helps create a nice look. All bathing suits crinkle when wet and I like that this is inherent to the design. I wasn't a fan of halter tops as I don't like something pulling on my neck, but this halter top doesn't feel like it is pulling when I have it tied to the right spot to provide support and coverage for the chest.

Athleta gets it right again!
I have a couple of the Athleta wrap ... tops that I love and highly recommend, but wanted to try a different style and went with the Shirrendipity ... sure I would end up sending it back because it couldn't possibly fit as well as the others- I was wrong- I love this top too! I usually wear a small in tops, but I tend to order up a size in bathing suits, and these are no exception (which is why I rated that it runs small, as the medium fits perfectly). I am a barely B cup, 5'3", 120lbs, fairly athletically built- but I have my share of post pregnancy flaws to hide. This is comfortable- the neck tie doesn't pull like some halters do, supportive, and hides my tummy (stretchmarks and a bit of flab ugh!). I wear these tops with the oceanside shorts bathing suit bottoms, which I also highly recommend. Flattering and comfortable while being athletic instead of frumpy- bathing suit love!

surprisingly supportive and flattering ...
Usually halters are uncomfortable at the neck if I tie them tight enough to give any support, but not this one. Even with it tied very loose, this ... supportive and LOOKS supportive. I'm a B in the chest fit really well. Another suprise was the body of this ... It's VERY fitted/tight. Most other ... too big for me in the body and I debated about whether this one was too tight. Honestly, I wouldn't mind if it was looser for ultra comfort. Overall, it was the best total package I could find and looks flattering.
