Solid Bottom
Loved the coverage of this bottom. The stitching around the legs is high quality and I have no fear that it will stretch out over time. High quality and the best part was it was on sale!

PERFECT
These are comfortable, excellent quality and doesn't even feel like you are in a swimsuit. Just high enough in the front to cover the mommy stretch marks. LOVE THIS!

After trying the not so-string bottoms in two sizes and realizing they were simply not for me, I gave these a try and was pleasantly surprised at how well they fit. Not too high in the front, decent coverage in the back, and not too tight at the waist. I normally wear a medium, and a 4 or 6 in pants, and the mediums fit perfectly. They do ride up a bit when I walk but maybe that's just me and I'm never going to find bottoms that stay put! They look great with the print top that I bought. Love the easy exchange too!
Love this swim suit!
Absolutely love this swim suit!! Bought the solid shirred full tide bottom in Medium (I'm 5'6", 120 lbs, size 4) and it fits perfectly. Coverage is great for me - not too low in front and not too high - just right. Also bought the Solid Bra Cup Twistini Bikini Top 34B/32C to go with it and it also fits perfectly - very true to size. The Kauai Blue color is lovely and have also ordered the same swim suit in black...the bottoms have arrived, but top is on back order until June! This is the perfect suit for casual swimming and playing with my two young kids at the pool.
I ordered MANY swimsuits to try, and this is one of the few I'm keeping. Nice coverage -- a tad more than I wanted on the back, with a little extra fabric bunching on my rear, it also goes pretty high up on my back. But more is better than less I suppose. This bottom is pretty flattering, sits flat on the waist, doesn't accentuate rolls or muffin tops. Good material, nice lining, although I would have preferred a neutral lining color.
Great swim bottoms
I love these bottoms and I buy them as often as I can in all colors. I love that Athleta gives information about the rise - and that they have a bottom that is appropriate for someone who is a bit older. I am 51 - and I feel comfortable with the coverage, even when I am moving around on a boat in close quarters. I usually wear a 6 in trousers and I wear a medium in this bottom - I pair them with tankini tops and have good coverage but my movement is not limited.
Good bottoms, if you have one.
So I read a lot of reviews that said these bottoms did look like grannie panties and didn't look like grannie panties. I got them anyway, since the majority said they looked fine once on. For me, I don't have much of a butt, it's flat and kinda wide (thanks mom, haha). So these bottoms did not look the best on me. If you have more of a butt these will fit you great. But with the shirring on the front, it makes the seams along the butt look shirred as well, making them look like grandma's undies. But like I said, if you can fill them out, I'm sure they would look fine. I'm still giving them a high rating because overall they fit well, they look good, and give full coverage. I'm hoping the medium tide bottoms will fit better.
Rise UP: Just one more inch please
Quality piece, good support, nice cut and generally a good fit but after bearing children some of us need just one inch higher in the rise. Not quite a boy short but more of a higher rise hipster would be nice. Had to return.
Runs a little big....good coverage
I order this bottom to go with both the Havana Siren and Rio Cast away tankinis. They are very comfortable however do run a bit large. I ordered and XL(usually size 14) and it's a little lose, especially when wet. Excellent coverage in the rear and comes up high enough to cover and hold in the belly. I wish I would have returned them for a L to give a little more support around the stomach. They all have been washed and worn in both ocean and pool and have have held up great!!
disappointed
I'm 5'10", 128lbs. When I read the reviews they said this bottom was a high rise, more coverage. I was very disappointed when I tried them on and they were very much a low rise. I returned them and purchased a suit at a department store.
