Great rise for those who''ve had a tummy tuck.
I was looking for a performance swim bikini for lap swimming that had a high enough rise to conceal my tummy tuck scar. It worked! I paired it with the racerback bikini top. I will say, it did cause a bit of drag but didn't fall down. I'm very curvy so I have to order a size up to cover my rear which makes it less ideal for my waistline. I ordered a small. I'm 33",26"36.5". Very little in the middle but got much back.
Solid Bottom
Loved the coverage of this bottom. The stitching around the legs is high quality and I have no fear that it will stretch out over time. High quality and the best part was it was on sale!
PERFECT
These are comfortable, excellent quality and doesn't even feel like you are in a swimsuit. Just high enough in the front to cover the mommy stretch marks. LOVE THIS!

After trying the not so-string ... two sizes and realizing they were simply not for me, I gave these a try and was pleasantly surprised at how well they fit. Not too high in the front, decent coverage in the back, and not too tight at the waist. I normally wear a medium, and a 4 or 6 in pants, and the mediums fit perfectly. They do ride up a bit when I walk but maybe that's just me and I'm never going to find ... stay put! They look great with the print top that I bought. Love the easy exchange too!
IMPRESSIVE
I've been looking for bottoms that have a higher rise. I've got a sizable vertical scar from a hysterectomy and these bottoms allow me to continue to wear a bikini! They are high enough without coming right to the waist. I can move freely and they are really flattering- try them, you may fall in love with them like I have.
Love this swim suit!
Absolutely love this swim suit!! Bought the solid shirred full tide bottom in Medium (I'm 5'6", 120 lbs, size 4) and it fits perfectly. Coverage is great for me - not too low in front and not too high - just right. Also bought the Solid Bra Cup Twistini Bikini Top 34B/32C to go with it and it also fits perfectly - very true to size. The Kauai Blue color is lovely and have also ordered the same swim suit in black...the bottoms have arrived, but top is on back order until June! This is the perfect suit for casual swimming and playing with my two young kids at the pool.
Couldn''t be happier!
I purchased these bottoms after receiving the Bolsa Chica Bra Cup Halter Tankini - I thought the bottoms came with it but they did not. I wanted the Bolsa Chica bottoms, but they only came in Low Tide, and I wanted a little more coverage than Low Tide provides. I read a review that said the Mid Tide was cut really low too, so I chose the High Tide. High Tide is perfect for anyone, and it's not Grandma "High" or anything, it's the regular cut you would find in your local department store. The Tankini is great - I'm a 36DD - and the support is amazing. This is the first suit I have ever worn and not worried about falling out. I am a little worried about the top, as I noticed one of the underwires has punched through the inside and I had to push it back in - would rather that not happen in the first 2 weeks of buying a [$] top, but it happens. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!
Wonderful bottom, but not for me ....
This is a very high quality product from Athleta. I love these mix and match bathing suit styles. I am only giving this product 4 stars instead of 5 because I definitely don't have the right body type to wear this and have it look as good on me as some of the other bathing suit styles I have from Athleta. I have a larger frame, straight boyish cut (no hourglass figure here!) I am 5'9", proportionate, about 15 lb.s over weight carrying most of that fat in my mid section. That is wherein this particular bottom does not fit me well at all, and makes me look a bit more over weight than I actually am. I am VERY sure if you have even a slightly smaller waist than your hips, and not too much of a tummy, this bottom will look fabulous on you. But if you're like me at all, save yourself the time and go with another bottom. Athleta has one of the best and easiest return/exchange policy out there for on line and in store retail, so I have no complaints about trading this style for another that fits. Beautiful colors and styles in your swimsuits, Athleta! I think this bottom will become one of your favorites if you have the right body type for this one ....
great coverage and fit
I always have bad luck with getting bottoms to fit right and this one was really great....good "gathering" details on the side, without cutting too high up the leg....I am a size 10 or 12 with a athletic back side and my Large fit nicely....
Great bottom but ignore the reviews saying they run too big.
The bottoms are great. Perfect coverage. The top comes high enough to hide my belly bulge without seeming too matronly. I ordered a large after reading a few reviews that said the bottoms ran small but had to exchange them for a medium.
The medium size was fine. I just think athleta doesn't make a bikini bottom that comes up high enough in front for me. The backside coverage is good but after having 3 kids there is too much showing in the belly. I am athletic & have a pretty flat tummy but just too low in front.
