Delighted!
I ... only had ... one week and ... already hiked in ... twice. ... very comfortable, durably made, and look flattering on ... figure. The fabric is considerably more substantial than all the other ... previsouly purchased from other retailers. I was expecting ... slightly lighter in color--I got the purple shade--but ... might fade some overtime and the color is beautiful. The are somewhat pricey, ... feel that ... worth every penny. I hope ... come out in a shade of blue, too.

... lifelong ...
I ... worn ... over two years now. ... original pair is still alive and well. I wear ... least 3 days a week as ... uniform ... job. That same pair has been washed and dried countless times. I also wear ... weekend hikes with ... dogs. I ordered a second pair of black ones, which ... little snugger then the khaki ones. I am 5'6" and 125-130 pounds. I ordered a size 6 Regular. I am thinking of ordering a size 8 in the black ... though. I recently ordered another pair of khaki work ... love ... wash easy and dry fast, no ironing! AND ... look great! I get so many compliments on ... can't go wrong with ...

Dream ... Ol''Gymnast
I am 42 5'2" 145lbs Athletic build; I ordered size 14 black. I ... gymnast thighs with the muscle butt to match and a small waist from 18 years of gymnastics and body building and NO ... me properly with out major tailoring, except ... dipper ... Dipper is comfortable around ... thunder thighs and muscle butt while the waist still fits nicely with a creative drawstring to prevent any gapping. Since ... look so professional, I where ... dippers to work where I walk around all day and I walk one mile during ... lunch break and after a 9 hour day of activity ... still look fabulous. So many compliments from men & women even young people. Excellent design and a great pair of ... old athlete. Thanks Athleta.

... dipper ... did not disappoint
A friend sung the praises of the dipper ... since I do a lot of traveling and ... thought I should try ... out. I absolutely love ... perfect fit and extremely flattering. I am 5'9" and weigh 150lbs. I bought the 8T which is ... normal size. This is the second pair of Athleta ... now own and both make ... butt look great. I love that I can wear ... around town and also out for a hike in the wilderness. ... perfect stylish outdoor type ... can see a few other pair of Dipper ... other colors in ... future.

Surprised!
I was VERY surprised when ... arrived. Usually I ... extremely hard time finding ... me, even when I am at the store trying on many styles and sizes. ... seemed so comfortable and I ordered ... hoping ... would ... fully expecting to ... return ... tried ... immediately and found ... perfectly! Trust me, this never happens! ... comfortable ... stylish and the quality of the ... great. I am curvy, and most ... roomy in the waist ... too tight in the rear or in the thighs- ... just right. I ... already hiked in ... am wearing ... around the house now. ... would be perfect to wear around town also. I would buy one in every color if I could. I ordered ... sale, and ... only complaint is the price. I can only afford the sale price (even that was pushing it). I would definitely recommend ...

Excellent everyday, Decent ...
I bought 2 pairs of dipper ... camping and ... trip with the intention of wearing one and returning one. I am keeping both! ... excellent "every day" ... sufficient for ... 5 stars for everyday use, 3 stars for ... used the dippers on an 9 mile hike up Old Rag Mountain, VA. The hike included a "strenuous" rock scramble which required me to scale and bearhug ... way through large boulders. The dippers held up great, no rips and no dirt, and ... flexed with me. I nix points for ... because there is no way to cinch the opening of the hem. They're bootcut and when I am walking through tick territory I'd prefer to ... closed. Also, the pockets are a problem. The front pockets aren't big enough to hold anything substantial, like a camera or cell phone safely, and the calf pockets are awkward when climbing huge rocks (I put ... phone in the button calf pocket and it got banged around a lot. Thank God the screen didn't crack--because when you're looking down at a 15 foot drop between rocks, it's hard to worry about if your screen will crack when you're shimmying onto the next rock because the pocket is poorly placed. ... also were a bit slippery on the rocks, I didn't get much grip when sliding! ... would be great if ... were convertible pants--that should be added to next year's model! As far as everyday ... great! The waist is a little higher ... certainly not "high rise" and I feel comfortable with where ... sit, maybe an inch above ... hip bones. The material is not soft ... very comfortable and will move with you. ... wear well and look really nice on without looking too "womanly" (I'm 28 and like to think of myself as still young enough to be hip and ... work great for that!) I am 5'2 and120# and the size 4 petite fits me nice and loose without looking baggy. I made ... purchase at the Athleta in Towson, MD and I highly recommend going to a store to try ... their other items on, because you will get a better feel for the material. The sizes run true (I am definitely between a 2-4 and the size 2 fit ... snugger than I'd want for ... store had a GREAT selection of petitie sizes, which made me very happy--and ... do free hemming if ... too long. The ... expensive if ... not on sale, ... feeling I'll be using ... long time and for a lot of different occasions--travel, ... eveyday wear, and ... can probably even be dressed up in a pinch. Overall, a worthy buy--after all, I ended up keeping both pairs. ;)

Don''t use the size chart you''ll be sending ... back!
I LOVE LOVE ... do LONG distance day hikes in the Sierra Nevada mountains in California all year around snow, rocks, dirt, logs, and all on and off trail. ... stretchy, durable and comfortable as long as you don't need cargo pockets. ... according to the provided size chart I am a size 12. I took a chance and got ... usual size 8 and ... fit perfect, another thing is ... run too short. I am 5'6" and ... high waters on me for the regulars- you may consider a long if you are atleast ... height. Other than that, ... great (I'm going to get another pair in another color) and I recommend ...

Sent ... back
I was disappointed with ... looking for something to hike in when I go to Scotland. I wanted quick drying and comfortable. I'm 5'7" tall and weigh 150 lbs. The size 12 was a little snug. I ordered 2 pair and each pair fit differently (hate that)!. The leg opening to slip the ... were like huge bell bottomed ... concerned that I would trip over ... thought that maybe the opening was so wide in order for it to accommodate a shoe. Also, ... were short - no way did ... inseam of 32" . What's worse than short bell bottomed pants???These ... just didn't work for me. Back ... went.

Disappointed
I ... trouble finding ... me, which is why I generally don't buy ... online. I've got a little more booty than other women ... size (4), so I typically find ... too tight in the butt and crotch as a result. That was the case here as well. Knowing the regular length would be too long at 32 inches, I tried the petites, ... were about an inch too short. The length might ... worked if the butt had not been so tight, which caused the ... hike up. I'll ... return ... Disappointment because ... cute ...

so frustrated with ... athletic women
Athleta... PLEASE, cant you make a pair of ... athletic built woman. I am 5'9" tall 145 pounds with very athletic legs, and small waist. Your tall ... (yoga style always ... great) I generally ... wear a size 8, and the hips & thighs ... waist is huge... and this happened with this ... hoped this ... would work for ... small waist, ... waist was HUGE. Very bummed.

Good ... except for the hardware
This would ... been a great ... (which is what I intended ... except for one bit of overdesigning. The metal buckle and loop at the back waist is unneccesary and made ... nice ... unusable. I can't see any purpose to this added detail at the back. You couldn't hike with ... because a backpack would press that large buckle into your back. Even just sitting around in ... uncomfortable because of this buckle. ... great ... if all you plan to do is stand around, or if you don't wear a backpack while you hike in ...
