Love this!
I have been looking for shorts like this for such a long time. Flattering, comfortable and versatile are the best adjectives to describe these shorts. I love them for power ... classes because I hate to be too hot and I don't like loose ... look forward to getting every color. I am 5'6" and 120. I ordered the small because I carry my weight below the waist, but probably will order a XS in my next color. Because of the stretchiness the small is fine, but it does seem to have a little extra room to grow. Not a direction I am trying to go. My only suggestion is...make more colors!

Great short for ...
I bought this to use for my Bikram (hot) ... classes, and I love it! I ordered it in the blue and it is very pretty, fits perfectly, and soooo comfortable. Perfect for hot ... classes, and makes my butt look good. I bought a small (5' 1", 123 pounds) and it fit perfectly.

Great shorts!
I love these shorts! The material is really nice and the fit is flattering. I'm 5' 2" and about 130 pounds with a round booty. These shorts are great for hot ... regular ... I'll use them for running once it warms up. I have really loved all my purchases from Athleta and these ... were very reasonably priced- I plan to buy more!

Life Changing!
I am a petite girl who has trouble finding clothes that will not get in the way of my ... practice. I found them! They fit incredibly well, wick sweat, and are great for classes or any activity that calls for great range of motion. I have them in multiple colors!

worked perfectly
I love the try it / return it policy. I wore these to a super sweaty hot power ... class. They performed perfectly - did not ride up, even during full splits! Covered what I needed covered! Perfect ... buying more colors!

Can''t go wrong with these shorts!
I decided to try these shorts for Bikram ... after wearing them for just one class-- returned to Athleta.com and bought the shorts in the other two colors. The fit is perfect, the shorts do not rise or bind, and there are no rough seams. They are snug which as any yogi will tell you in the hot ... class when you're doing Dancer’s Pose (Natarajasana), the last thing you want is your shorts riding up your posterior! These shorts are however, thicker material and many Bikram yogis may not find that conducive to 105 deg and 40% humidity.

Showing off my legs
I was reluctant to try short shorts, but the hot ... class I've been taking is just too hot for pants and capris, so I tried the kickbooty shorts. I was SO surprised! I was totally comfortable in these shorts, they did not ride up at all, and I actually thought my legs (which I seldom expose) looked pretty good intthem. I wore baggy pants to cover up but took the pants off at home and felt very comfortable walking around the house in them,, too. I'm very glad I got these shorts.

these shorts really work for me
i got these for ... though i don't do hot ... like shorts rather than leggings for warmer days. the shorts are also good for indoor (gym) climbing and for quick bike rides around town. i don't know about the riding up problem since i haven't run in them. they are a perfect fit for me and i love the 5" inseam. i've had shorter and longer shorts in the past and these are a great balance, and they're neither too tight nor too loose. i'm a tall ish size 6 or 8 in athleta, so the medium is wonderful. the waist rise is just right and the wide waistband is comfy and very flattering. the seams on the backside make my butt look better too. and i'm really glad for the "dress blue" since i'm so tired of black and gray (and the pink isn't hot enough for me, a little bubble gummy in my opinion). i would love to see other bright colors, as i'm a bit top heavy and darker pants make me look like i've got no hips or butt at all. not everyone wants the slimming dark look on the bottom. the fabric is substantial enough and i'm sure it will hold up well in the wash (and air dry since we don't have a dryer anyway). nice design which seems to be worth paying full price for.

No issues here
I bought these to wear to a new hot ... class and they are great! Although just a tiny bit too loose around the waist area they work really well. The size, fit, and material are all as I expected. These are perfect for anyone wanting to stay cool during hot ... I'm 5'11 and I wear a size 8 in pants and most shorts an 8 or 6.

Perfect for hot ...
I purchased these for hot yoga--they stay put through some demanding poses, and the stretchy, wicking fabric keeps me comfortable. I like how they look with my other ... wear. I often run before ... class, and wear these shorts because it's convenient to wear the same shorts for both activities, and they are comfortable for running, as well. I own several pair in both graphite and black.

Great for hot ...
The kickbooty ... shorts are very flattering. The seams on the backside accentuates the little curves I have and at the same time slims down by tummy so I don't feel self conscious during my hot ... class. Elastic at waist and leg openings doesn't cut into skin, very comfortable. The fabric is very breathable for the heat and it doesn't have that shiney cheap elastic look. I tried jogging in them and found them to be slightly constricting (I"m use to loose shorts tho). I'm 5'4" 123 lbs, ordered a small and they ride up a bit during some of the ... poses but I can't imagine myself getting an XS. I'm thinking of getting more but they're a bit pricey for me to stock up on.

after ... can hop on my bike and do some errands, go for coffee etc. The ... stylish and functional at the same time. Thats what I like about all Athleta clothes.

I ordered these and the Flash Bermuda in a 2x. Love them both. For all you other plus girls out there, Athleta is great in this size. I had my doubts, but these are amazing. The fabric somehow smooths over everything and is just perfect. I love the little key pocket too. I can put my house key in there and just go. As far as a comparison to the Flash Bermuda, these are more fitted and a little shorter. I'm actually a little more comfortable running errands after my exercise class in the Flash Bermuda. I love them both, but if I decide to get another pair, I'll probably go with the Flash ones. I like the nice big pockets in the Flash ones too. Oh, and if it helps you figure out sizing, I usually wear a size 22 in pants in other plus brands. Thank you so much Athleta for making your clothes in these sizes. I am so happy with my purchase.

So Comfortable
I have never been a big fun of ... love these burmuda ... They are so very comfortable, and can be used for different activities. I can wear them for running, ... everyday use. The medium fits perfect. So nice to find comfortable clothes Athleta has the corner on them!!!

Needs a little more room in the hips
Athleta pants are always stylish, but I find that the crotch is always too tight.With this pair, I ordered XS (my normal size) but had to send back for a small, which is still a little snug. I'm an extremely fit and tiny ... Pilates teacher in my 50s. I like form fitting clothes but please provide a little more room to stretch in down dog and hundreds!
