I ordered this in white and it is heavenly. I am so impressed with Athleta's swimsuits in general. I am 5'-8" and 165 lbs - usually wear a 10 - and the large fits great. The fabric seems like it will stand up to wear. I can't wait to take it out for some water sports and beach fun!

Beleive the reviews, this is a great swim bottom. Like many other reviewers, my bod is not perfect (I am 40 and have three kids after all!). However, I don't consider myself fat, and I'm very active, so I feel I have earned the right to wear a two piece! The problem with a lot of medium coverage bottoms is that they hit at the worst part of ... stomach - right below the little baby pooch - accentuating that not so desireable fault. They also tend to squeeze too tight in the back giving the muffin top look. This suit sits lower, but gives plenty of coverage. I don't feel like I'm trying to look younger than I am! I usually wear a M, but based on other reviews got the L. It was a little roomy, but fixed when I pulled the ties a little tighter. Now it fits without squeezing and lays perfectly flat - the way a swim suit should. Take the plunge ladies, you'll be glad you did!
I have very wide hips with not enough booty to balance them out. I bought this suit b/c of all the great comments on the amount of coverage. This suit does provide a full seat coverage. The issues I have are due to my large hips, I bought a size large to compensate. I wear a size 8 jean and am 5'9". The suit fit great in the hips, but now I have too much baggy material in the rear and front area. Perhaps these bottoms will grow on me, but right now they aren't exactly what I was hoping for. I believe these issues are just due to my body type, but for those girls out there built like me, be warned that you might end up with too much material in the booty. Dang my wide hips! Good luck ladies! Gotta love bathing suit shopping! :)
