Perfect fit for the ... women
Love this top. I'm 5' 10", 135 lbs, small B Cup, with a long torso, and a small belly pooch under my belly button. I normally have a hard time finding workout gear made for ... women that is affordable and has great quality. Athleta is now my new source for finding the clothes I need to practice yoga, go running, walk my dogs, or hike for hours through the forrest. The top's material is soft and durable. I like that the top stays in place while I practice yoga and doesn't ride up my belly. I will be shopping for many more ... Women's Athleta gear from now on.

great sports top
I bought this top just a few weeks ago for running and tennis and really like it for both. It is comfortable and does a great job of wicking away sweat. I'm a newcomer to nice exercise clothes so I may appreciate it even more than the next person, but it is sylish and flattering, and makes me happy to wear. The pockets on either side on the back are especially great for tennis balls. I like that it is feminine while still being really functional. I am 125 lbs, " 5'6', wear a ... cup and bought a small, which fits great. I would definitely recommend this top.

PR Tank - great fit but the talls are too long
I am 150 lbs. and 5'10, I originally ordered this top in a ... way too long. I exchanged it for a regular, ran in it for the first time last night and loved it. The top has great support and long enough that it didn't ride up during my run. The cut was very flattering. I did wear a sports bra with the top and felt it was necessary. I will be purchasing this top in some additional colors.

Liking it so far
Purchased this to go with the quick step capris as pictured in one of the new spring outfits. Ordered a medium - I am usually between a small & medium in most tops & am a 34DD. Fit is great in the chest although I will double down with a sports bra, as I always do. I don't like any kind of movement from the ladies in the gym or out on runs. Planning on wearing this later on in the spring & into summer for my training runs. Love the purple color, will be ordering the green & turquoise if this one works out as well as I think it will.

Scratchy seams ruin an otherwise awesome top
The achilles heel of this top is the scratchy seams in the mesh part of the bra in the back--they scratched my shoulders during a yoga class and left red marks. (I wear 38C and got an XL, so this was not a ... issue; this was a cheap construction issue.) This is such a bummer because I love everything ELSE about this top, including the wicking fabric, the longer length, and the support. However for such a pricey top I don't expect my workout clothes to to have cheap construction. This one is going back.

Disappointing
I liked what I read. I am a plus ... strong lady, and I wanted the colors. If these tops had been cut better to enclose the inevitable spread of plus ... "girls", I would have kept the 2 I ordered. Unfortunately, the tops at least looked like I might spill out, and that made them unacceptable. Length and quality was fine, but accommodation to bust was not realistic for plus ... plus ... ladies, do yoga, spin, work out in gym etc. So, I am disappointed that I had to return 2 items.

Great workout ...
I typically buy ... exclusively from another major company of workout clothes, ... lately ... not produced any new styles. I am VERY GLAD that I gave ... Athleta ... try! I LOVE ... concerned with the wicking ability and how it would compare to ... other brand of workout ... there is no question that ... great wicking ability (I teach group ... classes and fear ... gray ... because of the chance of showing off ... sweaty areas when stretching, kicking, etc.--So far no issues with that!). I also love that Athleta offers petite ... look for the "short" option because most workout ... made for ... people and I step all over the hem! I am 5'1" and the short/petite option with their ... great.

Just as good as ... claim
I hesitated to buy ... least a year. I just had real trouble getting over the price for "workout ... However, ... husband got ahold of one of the Athleta catalogs in the house and looked at those ... said, "Will YOUR butt look like THAT in ... told him probably and he ordered ... day. better than expexted
Just got ... last week and ... moved into ... favorite work out ... position. As a plus ... can be hard finding good, functional, and attractive work out clothes. ... everything that a girl could want. The waist lays flat and it not binding. The material is slightly thinner than most of ... other ones, ... kept me cooler. ... wicked remarkably well in ... hot yoga class...the only possible downfall could be the length. I am 5'8" and ... drag the floor in bare feet. ... not gotten in the way, ... could be a problem for someone that has short legs.

Maybe it's me at age 50 I just don't feel comfortable in skin tight workout clothes anymore. I need at least a 33" inseam ... order ... hemmed ... it's worth it. I've been very happy with the styles, quality and selection Athleta has to offer. Now that I've figured out the ... ordering more.

The thighs ...
The fabric quality seemed fantastic until I noticed the inner thighs are pilling after just one ... am concerned that ... out quickly, just like ... many cheaper ... I've had. ... surprisingly warm and very comfy. I'm 5'7" and a ... 10-12 and the Large ... tts, although ... very long on me, ... bet they'd be great for ... ladies.

Wonderful for travel
I got these ... trip to India this winter and they were perfect. It ended up being cooler there than I'd anticipated and I'd packed mostly capris and linen stuff so I ended up wearing these ... almost every day or every other day for a few weeks and they were amazing. They wash and dry easily and best of all they don't look like "travel" clothes. The fabric is a nice elegant wool blend and the cut is flattering ... easy. I wore them through dusty markets and to chi chi polo matches, on rural walks and out to dinner at elegant Delhi restaurants and they were perfect for all settings. The dark color hid all dirt, and the wool blend stayed clean and fresh smelling somehow for a long time, with no baggy knees or stretched out butt. I also wore them for the marathon flights to/from San Francisco and they were comfy to sleep in and yet didn't look wrinkled or sloppy at all on our long layovers in London where we went into the city to see friends. These are A++++ for travel; I have the charcoal which is dark and elegant ... I'm going to get the espresso because they're just that good and I want a back up pair. I could have done without the superfluous leg zipper pocket ... never got in the way or anything, just never used it and thought it was a random why bother feature. If I have one complaint about Athleta it's that their stuff is often over engineered or there's always one more thing going on than necessary--kind of like that old recipe for elegance/accezorizing: "get dressed, put on your planned accessories, and then remove one thing." If they'd just do that in their designs it would generally make them perfect. In this case the superfluous leg zip feature doesn't get in the way at all (unlike the silly purposeless metal dangle dealios on the back belt loop of some of their ... which actually make the ... hurt to sit back in wood/metal/hard plastic seats as the metal gouges your back--thankfully these Canyon ... avoided that fate and are wonderfully comfortable to sit/walk/hike in). Thank you Athleta for ... stylish, comfortable, durable, understated travel pants--now I can't wait to try them hiking, ... continue to just wear them around town now that I'm back in SF. Like someone else said, a replacement for jeans!

Great clothes too many chemicals
I have purchased Athleta clothes for years. I love their clothes and they mostly ... wear well, and, last. ... have to say, when I read someones comment about the Swara jacket smelling like chemicals I wondered if I should buy it. I gave it a try and ordered 4 garments, 2 ... sweater, and the Swara jacket. They all were so drenched in a terrible chemical odor that I couldn't even try them on. I decided I really wanted to keep the jacket ... took 5 washings in baking soda and airing it outside to get it to the point I can even wear it. Athleta, please stop buying clothes that are so chemically processed. It is very likely adding trace chemicals to the wearer's body. I don't think that is the message you want to send your customers. Please, the people you market to, those into Yoga and health don't want these harmful chemicals! And for people like me, please, offer more than 1 or 2 Organic items in your catalog. Sad to be missing Athleta clothes! : (

Love ... comfortable, lightweight, stays crisp looking. Love that ... "snap" rather than button (which always comes off, right ladies). Also, I've washed ... 5-6 times already and the color is still fresh looking and the shape is still nice. I would TOTALLY buy ... again. The only reason I am not is the weight is PERFECT for cooler winter nights (in CA,AZ,CO), or travel, ... little TOO warm for where I live. If ... do this ... lighter fabric for spring, I am ALL OVER it!

Not what I expected
Im 5'8", a little heavy in the middle d/ recent injury, 185lbs, ... 12 Gap and Bannana Republic. I've been looking at ... long time thinking about ordering. For ladies running a little heavy (especially if your weight is in your inner thighs and belly) and who live in hotter climes, I would not recommend ... If you're mostly flat tummy with slim inner thigh, living in cooler climes ... got to be a fantastic travel ... surprised by the weight of the fabric, definitely a great quality ... honestly I run a little cold and the moment I put ... leg in this ... felt the warmer temperature rising! The fabric will "swish" when you walk which wouldn't ... bothered me for what I was looking for--I fly a lot and still think the stretchy, thicker fabric would ... been lovely for such purposes. I might try ... again once I'm no longer carrying this extra weight. To the lovely ladies in great shape--enjoy!

Great Work Pants!
As I cycle and bus to work and work in a classroom, I am trying to simplify my commute by slower riding in my work clothes (not so sweaty, and lots of baby powder!), rather than have to change from cycling gear. These pants are comfy and stretchy, although they need straps around the ankles to avoid the chain. They look good, and feel great! I thought they might make the "swish" sound when I walk, but not at all. I have 39" hips and 29" waist, and the ... 8 was perfect for me. I will probably get another colour.

Great pants
The fabric is light weight, wrinkle free. There are many pockets. My husband was so jealous when he saw them. He wants Athleta to make men's clothes! Waist seems to run a little small.

Great pants
Love the fabric - so easy to travel in. Well made and very flattering - love the stitching and pocket/yoke details. I'm a fit 5'7" and 142, ordered the 8 and they're a bit big (I'm a 6 or 8, depending on the clothes), but the cut of the pant and the drawstring make the fit work very well. Lightweight, breathable, I need to order more!

Awesome pants
Finally a low rise pant that looks good and fits ME. I have long legs and a short torso - am thin enough, maybe just a little pudge in the middle - but they NEVER fit right. These fit perfect and make me look good which of course makes me work out more, which makes me want to buy more cute workout clothes etc etc. Perfect for warm weather Sierras hiking (no bug bites or poison oak) in the Fieldstone color (light) and love all the pockets which I use. Plus you will look cute.

I''m in Love! I''ll Need Multiples!
I love the new low rise dipper pants! They're super comfortable and they fit like someone took a mold of my body and custom made them for me. The new lower rise is very flattering in the front and the back, but not too low -- I can sit down or bend over without my back showing. I work in a creative field and don't have to get too dressed up, so I actually wore them to work today. They looked neat and conservative with a French sailor shirt and flats, but they're even better as "play clothes" for the weekend. Even after a full day's wear, they don't get stretched out. I understand why people love them for traveling -- you can wear them multiple times without losing the shape. I'm 5' 7 1/2" and 138 pounds and the 8 regular is a perfect fit.

waist too big for me
About me - 46 yrs old, athletic, 5'3" 35-26-38; 35C -I am quite fit but cursed with a little bigger butt and heavy inner thighs). Ordered these pants in a 4P, black. The back was way too gappy. I do have a big butt and a small waist. So might not be best for us curvy ladies. Also, since it was a little big else where it made the pants make a swishing sound. I have regular Dipper pants in 4P. that fit perfect and they don't swish as much.

... OFF, in my opinion....
These pants are excellent quality as all their pants are. Lack of quality is never an issue with Athleta, but I do have issues with their ... would have loved to have a pair of these Dippers, if I could have gotten them to fit. Some reviewers say true to ... others say too small and others say too big. I guess it all depends on your body type and weight. I'm 5'10", 165# and the 10 talls were way too small in the regular Dipper. I then ordered a ... 12 ... low rise dipper and they were too big. The ... length in both ... were perfect though. By the way, I couldnt tell much of a difference in the rise between the low rise dipper and the regular, in case anyone is debating between the two. The Mariposa pant is my favorite and is the only Athleta pant that was really true to ... me. But, I still recommend these pants. I just couldnt find a ... fit me.

nice pants
These pants (that are similar to cargos) are awesome. They are lightweight, and very comfortable. I am ... have a thin build, and probably should have gone with one ... less for a more snug fit as they stretch. The length was a bit longer than expected. I wear them for work (plain clothes law enforcement). The belt loops are sturdy, and the pockets are perfect. I would recommend these pants, but probably a ... smaller than your usual ... :)

Good pants...length still a issue
Well....my biggest piece of feedback for athleta.... Get different lengths in pants..... I have ordered severa pairs of dipper products overr the last 12 months.... I see how much people love the dipper pants. As a stay at home mom, they seem like a good option.... I LOVE the dipper shorts and skorts....the ... 8s are perfect with a little wiggle room.... For some reason, the 8s are snuger in the pants which is annoying, because the 10 s are huge in me.... The low rise option seems to help allowing me to wear the 8 s and they feel great!! Now...the regular length looks goofy and short, but these talls are soooo tall....I will get them altered and keep them, but has athleta considered having medium ... am wondering if you had 31, a 33, and then a 35 for the lengths... Also.... The different colors are inconsistent with the lengths...anyway, I have two pair, on great sale, I am altering them and keeping them...I am 5'8" almost at 5' 9" and 140. I would recommend getting a couple of different ... then sending back the ones that do not fit... Also ... up...

Traven Pants
These pants Are perfectly made with exquisite details in the design. the waist is a little to big so I will have to wear a belt but if I got them a ... smaller the hips will be a touch to tight. we are traveling to Peru and I need clothes that are easily washable and fast drying but look great. I really think they are a perfect design. Ia am really a straight skinny body type with heavier strong legs so I wear ... 4 and possibly a 2. Height 5 feet 5 inches weight 123 lbs.

mixed review - love and meh
I ordered these pants because they are UPF rated at 50+, which should allow me to save the hassle associated with full body sunscreen when I'm just running errands and doing short hikes or bee bopping around town. They feel great, and I'm getting a lot of compliments on how they look. I am 5'8" and 125 pounds, and the regular length is too short for me in the best fit ... 2. I tried 4, and they were somewhat longer, but that is possibly due to drooping. The 4 talls were baggy and would need to be shortened about an inch, so I settled on the 4 regular because they are at least not high waters. A 2 ... would probably be perfect since it doesn't exist. :) The waist is definitely not low rise, and they come up far higher on me than they do in the picture (I've heard males are often used to model female clothes, so one wonders). I've got two pairs - a khakina and a mercury. Both colors look fab. I did notice a couple of loose threads, so I'll keep a watch on quality. Overall, not sure how well these will stand up to a serious hike, thorns, rock scrapes, etc., and I would like more information about the UPF rating so I don't fry myself inadvertently. Can you guys add a link to the certifying body perhaps?

I own multiple pairs of these, and they are sooooo great!
They stretch but conform in just the right places, like your rear end :) The boyfriend is my favorite because the leg is not too tight. I originally bought my first pair to try out for a camping trip for hiking. Pockets are a necessity, and these not only have plenty, but they either all have closures of some sort or don't gape, so you don't lose anything in them. The stretchiness also makes them perfect for hiking. Then I found when I got home, I was wearing them to go out shopping, to get my hair done, go to the grocery.......they are so comfortable, but are more stylish than yoga or sweat ... yet considerably more comfortable than jeans. Then I had to buy another pair because it seemed like every time I wanted to wear the first pair, they were in the dirty clothes basket. I get compliments from people all the time asking where I got them. I wish there were brick/mortar stores, or if there are some, at least here in Phoenix. And that's another thing, other than about 3 months here when the heat is just unbearable for anything, these ... don't make you feel warm, yet when hiking they held in the heat. I love them. If you want comfort, and especially if you love the outdoors and want pockets and ease of movement, you will fall in love with these. My only warning!! The first few times of washing, heed the wash/dry label and wash gentle, dry low or the length will shrink about 1/4". Was mad at myself on my first ones. However I found after about the first 2 - 3 times of doing this, then you can wash on cold/normal, dry on normal with all your other clothes, and they are fine. I don't care about the shrinkage though. I still love those too. It's not like I'm wearing high heels with them :)

Exactly what I was looking for!
I first tried on these ... Athleta store at the Mall of America, so I knew the petite small would fit. I'm 5'3", 122 pounds. The length is perfect for wearing these with flat shoes or sneakers. Though I feel like I'm wearing ... pajamas, these are stylish enough for me to wear to work as an elementary teacher. Sometimes I go directly to yoga class after work, so they make the transition easy. I ordered the black ones first, and I liked them so much that I ordered the indigo heather. I love the extra style they added to these ... back pockets, the other cute pockets on the front), because then I don't look like I'm wearing ... gym clothes to work. ... only complaint is the price, but since I was lucky enough to receive a couple of gift cards, I decided to splurge. It pays to give hints!

LOVE THESE ...
I visited the Athleta store for the first time and I am HOOKED! As an instructor, I live in my workout clothes, even when I am not working out. These ... so comfortable. I bought them in a small and I'm 5'7 and they are perfect. I get compliments on them all the time. I want to buy them in another color. They are great to wear for everyday running errands or training.

New favorite
I teach school, Coach Cross Country, I am a mom, a wife and have a small farm. I need clothes that I can wear from one responsibility to the next....These ... awesome! I wish they weren't so pricey and I would buy a few more colors.

Actually Lived Up to the Hype
I wanted discrete yoga ... could wear into the office in order to fit in a noon yoga class without wasting time changing clothes. They are so comfortable and look like black jeans/cargo ... matched the black ... office blazer and it looks like a casual office outfit. Of course I live in Colorado and we're pretty casual out here to start with. I definitely recommend them and am trying to decide which other color to get. Hope you like them a much as I do.

Great for pregnancy
I bought these ... year ago, 6'0, ... fits great! The style is slimming. Now that I am 6 months pregnant I continue to wear these ... almost every day. I have had a hard time finding maternity clothes and these ... defy gravity and sit right under the bump along with needed expansion in the legs and buttocks. You can also add a Bee band if you want bump support. Would love to see Athleta add a maternity line for active gals!

Love these pants!
Finally! A quality pair of ... made for women over 5 feet ... love these ... group fitness coordinator/instructor and personal trainer, I need clothes that can serve a variety of roles. These ... fit the bill; I can wear them teaching classes, working out in the free weight area and even in the office. They look and feel great and are worth the rather hefty price tag.

I waited so long for these ... worth it.
I had ordered these ... months ago and was waiting for them to come back in stock in ... 2X. When I got them, I was not at all disappointed. I love these ...
I read all the reviews for these ... before buying them, thanks to all of you who took the time to do so! Based on the reviews I ordered the small which are perfect for me. I usually wear a 6 and I'm 5'6" , 130 lb. They are very flattering. The first time I had them on I got so many compliments ... I even wore them for New Years eve to dance the night away. I live in the Virgin Islands and we are boaters so I'm always looking for great, comfy, and cute clothes that don't require ironing .. low maintance. These are so nice looking and comfy. My new favorite ... ordering more.

OMG! THESE ARE A MUST TO OWN!!!!!
Athleta did it again and it keeps getting better!!!!!!! Since I teach fitness, I must wear workout clothes that are high quality, attractive, and does not fall apart when I sweat in front of ... classes (as unfortunately, several other brands does!). The Bettona Boyfriend ... totally AWESOME if you desire a relaxed fit with pockets. Okay, so the price is a little high. But the way I look at it, purchase one or two high quality workout ... instead of 5-10 that will eventually go in a reject pile! The fabric quality appears to be better since the regular Bettona ... which is a huge plus! I normally wear a medium and the medium fits just right. However, if you fall closer to a small medium, you might want to consider a small.

Elegant, comfortable pants
Coco Chanel once said "A lady should always be dressed for her next lover." Time can work against a lady with a full work schedule and the commitments of children and family, so thank goodness for the Bettona Boyfriend pants! Nicely fitted out the top, loose and flowing at the bottom. The only thing I hate about it is the darn Athleta star on the pocket on the leg. That star sticks out like a sore thumb, and takes a beautiful pair of pants that can be worn with anything and turns them into strictly work out pants. I ordered this online first, but had to return them because they were too short for me. If possible, I'd recommend trying them on first. My experience was enhanced by the help I received from the ladies at the Walnut Street Athleta Store, who sold me a regular pair, and included FREE alterations! Alterations are free at any store, so if the good Lord blessed you with legs shorter than ... longer than Petite, you can still get the pants you need.

I use the kickbooty ... primarily for gym workouts. It ... snugly against the skin ... doesn't crease, ride up or otherwise get in the way. The fabric is soft and wicks away ... profuse sweating ... entire workout is comfortable. It's also a great looking ... don't ... body hugging clothes outside of the gym, ... look great and ... easily. ... build is slim/athletic in the 120 lb, 5'4 range. Overall only 2 items out 9 items ordered were keepers because the rest had major flaws or ... issues. Trying again with reordering most of ... A Must Have
... everything I was hoping for and more. Being 6'0 ... 8-10 waist is challenging to find clothes that ... correctly and Athleta you nailed it on ... love them and want to wear them everyday everywhere. Beyond loving the ... most appreciative of the customer service when I needed to return ones I had just ordered and didn't realize were low rise. I didn't want low rise and was having a hard time finding ones that were mid rise. In one phone call I was given 3 options with the item numbers to peruse. She made it so simple for me and was so helpful. Not only that, her recommendation was exactly what I needed. I appreciated the guidance from the company and the care she took of the customer. I would highly recommend Athleta.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE ... wear them instead of jeans becuase they are so much more comfortable. I am 5'0 ... have longer legs and shorter upper torso so I find the petite is just slightly too short. Therefore, I buy the regular and get them shortened. I can wear the small or the medium depending on how tight of a ... want with the outfit I have on. ... do tend to stretch out just slightly after full day wear, ... still love them. I ... stocked up and now ... 4 pair becuase I find I am always wanting to wear ... dirty clothes. The slight flare leg is fine for me, however, would easily be able to alter them to a narrower leg if needed very easliy.

Luv'em! I'm 5'9 and 124 lbs... I ordered an XS ... S ... prefer the XS ... because they ... through the legs with no bagging anywhere. They are long which I love since finding ... long enough has always been a challenge. They hit the floor and break on the top of ... feet when barefoot and are perfect with heels. As soon as I received them I put them on and wore them around the house... Then I put on a cute top, jacket and heels and wore them out to dinner... Came home and took a nap in them... When I woke up I did some housework and then I did two workout dvd's... One a bun & thigh workout and the other a Pilates core routine. So Soft and Functional - Not to Mention Really Cute
To start - I am 5'10" and 165 lbs, usually an Athleta M and/or MT. I ended up getting ... LT and am having them hemmed. The M was just a tad too clingy right where we ladies don't like to have cling .... The fabric is super soft and the pockets are both super non bulking AND functional - how do they do that? I will use them for winter tennis and stick the extra ball in the rear pocket.

In love with this capri!
The fabric is so lightweight but stretchy so it moves with you. I got these with the intention of being a multi purpose pant and they do not dissapoint. I loved them so much I got 2 colors - the khaki and olive - but I will likely get the black as well. I can wear them to teach fitness classes, then be out and about without looking like I'm wearing my workout clothes. They're also perfect for wearing as a "regular" casual pant and they will probably be in my backpack for our Grand Canyon hike this summer since they are lightweight and dry quickly.

nice lightweight capri, sizing a bit inconsistent
I've bought 2 pairs of these capris to replace years old, similar capris that happily no longer fit due to weight loss. These capris are very lightweight so are perfect whenever you want some coverage but also want to keep cool. I haven't gotten them wet yet but if they are anything like the old ones in the same fabric, they will dry instantly. I'm 5'10" and chose the regular length rather than the tall because I find that the tall "mid" rise is too high. The 2 colors I got fit slightly differently. Also, I marked "true to size" but they are definitely "true" to a contemporary vanity size - at 145 lbs I am in a size 6, which is crazy.

Great Capri Pants!
I love these capri pants. I bought them in a tall size since they were an inch longer than the regular. I have every color that was available. They wash nicely and there is no need for any ironing. Can be put on right from the dryer. The draw string at the waist allows for pulling it tighter or loosening if needed. Have had many compliments on the indigo color which is close to a jean color. Would recommend.

Cute and Comfy
LOVE THESE CAPRIS! Not just Cute- They are COMFY! I teach Pilates, and run from teaching to my kids school and am always having to change out of my workout clothes. These capri's I can wear all day and throw on a cute top and run to the kids school and back . I am 5'4" and about 125lbs, the size 4 fits really well. The waist is a bit big, but that just makes them sit a little lower on my waist (still ok). The size 2 was a bit too snug in the waist and the thighs. I had actually been debating between the 4 or 6. The 4 wins out. These are awesome pants! I am going to get them in different colors before they run out!

Best capri ever!
Really cannot believe how amazing these capris are. They feel light as a feather, like silk against your skin, yet they seem fairly sturdy. They also fit perfectly. I'm curvy through the backside from working out (I'm 5'10, 154 lbs, usually a 6 tall, for reference), but I have a small waist, so I usually have the too big-in the-waist but-too tight in-the rear problem. Well, it's like someone made these pants custom for me, because they fit amazingly. I've actually never tried a more comfortable pair of pants. Ever. I hope Athleta makes these for a long time, and I plan on ordering every color.

In love!
I bought 2 pairs of these today at the Athleta store in NYC. They are really nice and fit very well on this size 12 body. Most of Athleta's clothes are tricky if you are not a size 6 and under, but these fit well and are flattering. Taking them on a trip to Hawaii this week and plan to live in them for one month.

Cute and Comfortable
I bought this Capri originally because it came in a light color for summer and it looked really cute in the catalogue and online. The upf rating is always a selling point for me so I bought it in dolphin. For the most part I like the pant, except for it runs larger than most of the other capris that Athleta offers so it looks a little bit clowny for my taste. I wear it for hiking but not for everyday running around town. I normally wear a size 2 or XS and like my clothes to be slightly fitted.

Love these shorts!
I absolutely love these shorts. I run in the Presto Short all the time and have more than one pair. They're my go to short for long runs. They stay put and the pockets are awesome for electronic media (my iphone fits nicely in a pocket) or mid run fuel. It's really hard to find running clothes with pockets that work well and fit what you need to carry. I'm 5' 8" and ordered the ... just for a little more length which works for me. They still hit well above my knee. Definitely buy these shorts for any length of running you do!

my new favorite shorts
I've worn these puppies twice so far, once doing strength training and the other on a ten mile run and these are awesome!! I feel like I have thunder thighs and was worried these would further add to my bulk and not be flattering but they looked so good! I actually feel pretty sexy in these... the length is perfect. I had no issues with the shorts sliding up or needing to be adjusted. While running I forgot they were even there... which is how running clothes should be, yes? Anyways, I also like the inner pocket - perfect for my car key. I'm planning to purchase a second pair in anticipation of my overuse of these. =) I purchased the black in a ... small, I'm 135lb, 5/7", 36-27-39. Give these a try! You won't be disappointed!!

Great for smoothing out
Unlike others who wear these only to work out in, I bought them to wear under dresses and clothes. Athleta has the BEST sweats, etc., that do NOT roll down and hide the muffin top. These were perfect under my dress to "smooth" things out ... I got an XL, weigh 175 lbs and am 5'7" very athletic build ... Not only did they do what I wanted, but they were actually very comfortable so I ended up working out at home too and loved them.

Just what I was looking for
These shorts are just what I was looking for. I live in the Caribbean where its hot and humid year round and these shorts are great for moisture wicking. I was skeptical at first when I saw them because they did look like they would be too small however they are very stretchy but not see through. LOVE the pockets and they're the perfect length! Excellent for running; they totally stay in place. While they're not a compression short they seem to hold your parts in like a compression short while remaining forgiving of those doughy spots! I'm right under 5'10", 175 pounds. I wear the heck out of my gym clothes so hopefully these hold up! Great price too! I ordered the Asphalt/Ruby combo...very cute! Five stars!

If I have to wear shorts in public, I''ll wear these
My thighs are not my favourite body part: they're a little thicker at the top than I'd like, there's some cellulite and I'm so pale I glow in the dark. So I rarely wear shorts and if I do, they're usually baggy bermudas and only on a dive boat. I realize, however, that if I continue running races, eventually I'm going to want to run a race somewhere warm and, if so, I'll probably want to wear something other than black leggings :) So I decided to try these out, and I'm about as pleased as I can be with shorts. I ordered the Asphalt/Prince purple and I like the colours. The medium is a good fit on me (5'7", 128 pounds, 26.5 waist, 37 hips). My hips are fairly wide, so I tend to need to ... up a bit relative to others who might weigh the same with similar measurements. Also, I don't like tight clothes. These are slightly looser than most of the Athleta leggings and capris I own, but not so loose that I'd fit into a smaller ... can adjust the fit at the waist with the ties.

Decent short, but not a flattering waistline
I like the short and am keeping them. I have 39" hips and 29" waist. I'm a curvy girl with a bit of a tummy. The pant fits fine, but I do not like the waist as it is higher than I expected and accentuates my tummy. I think it'll work great for long waisted ladies with flat tummies. However, the length is very comfortable and they stay put. I have needed shorts for a while and I'm glad to have them. Next time I'll look for something more supportive for tummies.

These were just ok. I am wowed by most of athleta clothes but these missed the mark. The waistline is odd and cuts in. I feel like the quality just wan't there and that some of the athleta quality is deteriorating. I bought more comfortable, better quality similar shorts at [@]. I still have good remarks for many of athletas things...this isn't one of them.

As far as a comparison to the Flash Bermuda, these are more ... little shorter. I'm actually a little more comfortable running errands after ... exercise class in the Flash Bermuda. I love them both, but if I decide to get another pair, I'll probably go with the Flash ones. I like the nice big pockets in the Flash ones too. Just purchased 4 more pairs for all the ladies in my family because I love these shorts!!! I bought the black pair and have worn them almost every day since I bought them! I am 5'5" 133 lbs and I purchased the ... medium. The ... fits perfectly, maybe slightly loose - I might be able to buy a small. I washed them inside out and they came out looking exactly the same and did not shrink!

Great buy
I fell in love with these when I bought the bettona pants but now that it is warmer I am glad these are an option. I am 5'9" and 155 lbs and while the medium fit ok, I much preferred the large because I like a bit more room in my clothes, and the medium was stretched a bit tight in the rear. I ordered both ... glad I did because I simply couldn't decide based on the reviews which way to go. My favorite thing about these shorts is the comfort of the waistband -there is absolutely no bunching up and it will fit smooth to any shape.

OK Fit
I bought these as part of my upgrade to my hanging out clothes. They will be a fine addition, but may not be my "go to" everything bermuda. Th fabric is nice, the cut is fine, but there just isn't anything special about these. I also thought they fit a bit snuggly across the tummy and rear than normal Athleta mediums. Not enough to ... up, but enough so that I will be able to gauge weight loss without stepping on the scale! Guess that's a good thing. I will consider these shorts an aid in my weight loss program!

This is ... new go to skort. The fabric is substantial without being heavy or bulky and has a slight sheen to the finish. It is also just a little stretchy. The Mercury is an absolutely lovely color. The ... terrific! I'm 5'1, 115 lb. and have an athletic/lean (but not slender/slight) build and received a 4P. The skirt ... like it was made for me! Perfect length: short enough to show leg without being [*]. The cut allows for easy & unrestricted movement. Due to the fabric's finish it can be dressed down with a t shirt or up with a nicer shirt. Some ladies don't like the loop detail on the back but I think it looks adorable and unique and doesn't bother me when I wear it. This skort should be a wardrobe staple.

Ladies, this is a terrific skort. The fabric is dreamy - it is stretchy, has some heft, and repels water like no one's business. The inner mesh shorts are fab - discretion is yours if you're crouching down, or if you don't like the thighs rubbing together. I love this skort, but when I sit down it bunches in the front then I have to pull it back down when I stand up. I think it is just too small; the waist is perfect though. I am a 4-6 in most clothes but usually a 6 in Athleta. (5'10" 143-145 lbs) I returned it for an 8. Hopefully it won't be too big. It is really cute. I love the skinny dipper cords and the dipper shorts and have them in many colors. The little snappy thing on the skort seemed more in the way than it does on the ... shorts. Maybe because it was too small? I can't wait for the bigger ... see how it works out.

Pleasantly surprised!
I am actually shocked by how much I love this skirt! I ordered it because I couldn't find anything else like it and find myself wanting to wear it more than I expected to! The falcon color is a nice, warm neutral taupe that borders on olive and I feel like it goes with everything. The fabric is uber soft and lays well (not stiff like corduroy usually is), and the skirt is cut and constructed well. It hits at just the right point to minimize my curvy hips and accentuate my smaller waist. The length is perfect for tall boots and I love it with the estonia tights! Such a fun fall fashion! If it helps, I am 5'5" and 115 pounds. I measure 25" waist and 36" hips and the 2 is a perfect fit.

Love it!
I own 3 of the skorts in this style. I am 5'4", 124 pounds. I ordered the 4 Tall in this because I like my winter skirts to be 23" long. The fit is perfect. The grape jam color is beautiful. Would like to own it in asphalt and black too. I especially like that on the skirts, the top stitching is tonal and not contrast stitching like it is on the skorts.

Awesome!
This is a fantastic skirt. I am 5'10" but decided not to order a tall because I wanted it a little shorter. It comes just above my knees and is really great. The fabric is very soft and overall the skirt seems really well made. I ordered it in black and the dark green with the intention of only keeping one, but I can't decide and may end up keeping both! My only complaints are that I wish it came in a burgundy/maroon color, and that the ... 6 was just a tiny bit smaller in the butt. I normally wear a 6 but I can fit comfortably into the 4. However, I think it looks just a little too tight so I'm keeping the 6. I'd buy this in burgundy/maroon in a heartbeat!

cute skirt
I purchased for my teenage daughter. Love the style and look with tights. She is tall and would have liked an inch longer - please consider adding smaller sizes to "tall" - they start at 4. ... 0 and 2 would be great in the tall. First time customer and found the return process very easy - had ordered 2 different ... Looking at purchasing the whenever skirt in the spring.

Cutest skirt I have ever owned!
This skirt is just unbelievably cute! Looks better on than in the photos. The fit is really flattering and the slight flare at the bottom is very cute--much more stylish and fun than just a straight (pencil) skirt. Looks fabulous with a pair of tall boots--can't wait for cooler weather so I can wear it!! Very comfortable, very cute, can wear for work or out on a date with my hubby. This is hands down the cutest and most versatile skirt I have ever owned, and its super comfy to boot, as well as easy care (no need to iron)! I couldn't ask for anything else!!!

Love this skirt!
I was very happy when I received this skirt. It looks really attractive and the color is great. I'm 5'5" 118 lbs and I ordered the 6 tall. I like a bit longer skirts for work, so tall is a better look for me. Unfortunately, the waist was just a bit too big,(I have a small waist and a bit larger hips) so I've also ordered a 4 tall to see if that will fit better. There is a drawstring inside, so it can be adjusted. Either way, I'll be wearing this skirt a lot! If they had more colors left, I'd order them!

so far okay
Ordered an 8 tall in rye as I needed this to cover my knees. One thing you can't see in the picture is that it has contrasting stitching in the same color as the waist fabric. It will limit what I wear it with, but it's not worth returning over. In general, can't wait to wear this skirt. I have short legs, and the 8 Tall hits just below my knees. I usually wear between a 6 and 8 in most brands for low rise pants and ordered an 8 as I tend to wear a 10 in mid rise pants. The 8 fit perfectly despite some reservations. I'm 5'6" and 165 pounds. Need to lose a bit of weight but it's mostly muscle and bone. It is a bit "tight" around my thighs, but I have athletic thighs and no hips to speak of, so I always expect to either have stuff tight around the thighs or loose on the hips. Hope this will become a staple in my wardrobe.

I like it
This is my first purchase from athleta, and I am pleased with this product. I thought it would consist of slightly thicker material, but I am still happy with it. I am going to put some tall brown winter boots and a ribbed turtle neck top with it. This will probably be the first of many purchases from athleta.

Cute skirt but not what I thought
I'm 5' 10" and weigh 153 pounds. I ordered a ... 10 Tall and found the hip area on this skirt just a bit snug. I must admit I carry a little tummy pouch. I probably would consider keeping it but I actually thought I was ordering the Skort in this same style. I will send it back and order the Skort. Too pricey to keep both.

Wanted to love but...
I'd seen this skirt on friends and it looked really nice on them. So I ordered a ... 4 Tall, I am 5'6" and 128 lbs. It fit fine, middle of the knee, but the cord material was really wrinkled and being thicker material did not lay flat. I ironed it and it still did not hang right. I like the style of the skirt, maybe in another fabric it would look better. Sorry, had to return it.

Tight in hips
I was really disappointed in this skirt. I liked the look of it in the catalog and was excited to find it in a Tall. I am 5'9 and 125 lbs and usually wear a ... 4, so I'm not a big person, but this clung to my thighs and rear end in a very unflattering way. The waist was also very loose and when I used the drawstring to tighten it, the waist then gapped and puckered. This is the first Athleta I have ever returned because it didnt' fit well. If you want the skirt, definitly order a ... up and hopefully it'll look better.

Great Everyday Skort
Love, Love and more Love for this skort. I tried both regular and tall ... love the length of the tall for me. I run around in these most everyday. Great for walking, running errands and busy days. Super simple to dress up or down, comfortable and flattering. I am 5'8" usually a ... 4 or 6 but love the medium for comfort (it is a little loose) so it is not clingy. I bought several since they wear and travel well.

Love it!
I am in my mid 50's and have been looking for a comfortable tennis skort in a longer length. I don't like my clothes tight fitting. I'm 5'4" 138 lbs and ordered the medium in the regular length. It fits perfectly around the hips with modest coverage in the length . The legs allow holding room for tennis balls but don't ride up during play. This skort is exactly what I've been looking for for years!

The best skort ever
I am 6 feet tall and weigh 170 lbs. The large tall fits me perfectly. I can even wear an extra large tall sometimes. It is great for workout and for work because it is classy enough to be suitable for business attire. It is the most comfortable skort I have ever worn. I have them in every single color and wear them almost every day.

Love this skort!
I bought this skort in both black and white for golf. I love them both so much, I just ordered a print as well. This skort is perfect for golf - comfortable, cute and functional. The fabric is soft, yet sturdy and the cut is flattering - even for fuller figures. I am 5'10" and bought the ... length which was just right. (I am over 40, so a little extra length is a good thing.). I cannot say enough about this skort! Finding cute golf clothes is tough - this tops the list!

Not for the extra curvy, but a great skirt
Review for those with large hips/thighs & smaller waist: I am 5'5", weigh 145 and carry all my weight through my hips and thighs. I have a 31.5 in natural waist that is very high, and I'm 34 inches when I measure about an inch below my belly button where I like my waistbands to sit. My hips are 44 in. My thighs are also about 44 when I measure around the widest part. It is almost impossible to find clothes to fit my measurements and I have to pick the ... best fits my hips and hope the waist will work. I ordered an XL tall and unfortunately, the waist is too loose for me. The skirt measures 35 at the waist. Because of the weight of the fabric, the waist needs to fit fairly snug to prevent it from sagging. On the Athleta ... chart, the waist range for an XL is 33-34 at the natural waist. (This is much higher than where most people wear their waist bands.) If you are a few inches off of those measurements, this waist till not work for you. The skirt itself is great! The quality is good and I love the weight of the fabric. The attached shorts are pretty loose. Not at all like a compression short. The length of the XL Tall was about 21.5 inches, which was a good length for me, too. I want my skirts either right above my knee or right below it. Hope this helps a pear shaped sister out there.

Like the New Asphalt Color
I bought two of these skorts last year and wore them all summer long. Before they sold out again, I bought an Asphalt (S reg) and Black (S tall) because I'll be wearing these all the time once Spring arrives. The gray color last year was "Carbon", which is a lighter gray than this year's "Asphalt". I like that the gray this year is different - it is a much darker gray - nice I'll have a variety. I also ordered a Small/Tall to wear to work. The regular length is too short for work, and the tall will be perfect. I am 5' 3", 124 lbs, and ordered Small/Reg for casual wear...Small/Tall for work.

Love the fit! I purchased a black skort last summer and ended up ordering the white one as well. This skort is great for walking, hiking or just running errands. It is long enough so it doesn't look like work out clothes. I ordered 2 more skorts for this summer. I don't like to wear shorts. This skort functions as shorts but looks a lot nicer.

Fabulous Skort!
This skort is great! I originally purchased for golf and general activewear. It will be great for both. It has a very nice compression short beneath that does not ride up. I ordered both the gray and the black in a XLT. I am 5'8", athletic build, and carry extra weight (about 25 pounds)--generally wear 14 in street clothes

I like it
I like this skort. I have another one from Athleta that fits me like a glove. This skort is a little big and lays a bit funny across the upper part of my backside. I think if I had a smaller ... wouldn't bunch up in the back, but I'm in a medium in all of my other Athleta clothes, so I'm afraid to try a small. I'm 5'5", 130 pounds. My shirts cover the part that bunches, so the skirt looks great otherwise.

Can I wear this every day?
Love my skirt. Its soft and comfortable and perfect for slipping into after a workout or for a weekend afternoon running around town. The shorts of the skort fit comfortable without riding up and bunch and yet aren't too tight. The fabric is a soft cotton with just enough stretch. I'm 5'0 and I wish it were just a tad shorter but taller, longer legged ladies would likely find it about right.

great skort
The skort is very comfortable, plenty of room, and a perfect length. I am 49 y.o. in good shape, but old flesh is, well, old. I am 5'5", 130 #, and the S is plenty big. This style skort may be a bit on the long side for running and for sassy gals in their 20/30's. I wouldn't wear it for gym workouts, but I did end up wearing it one day because I worked out right after tennis and received quite a few compliments from younger ladies. I liked the skort enough to purchase 3 colors.

Shorter Than Usual
These will have to be exchanged. I'm 6 ft ... usually buy regular skorts instead of Talls and the length is just fine; however; these were just too short. I will return for the ... Love Athleta's return policy and love their skorts. I still gave it 5 stars because they'll be perfect with additional length.

My husband begged me to buy more colors!
I bought 2 in the ... medium. I will be wearing them to work in as they dry quickly and shed off hair. I am 5'8' and 165 pounds. These skorts fit great. I'll be wearing them to work as the talls fit just at my fingertips. The white is rather sheer, so I will have to buy some lighter sheer undies, but, based on how much my hubby likes these skorts, I will make a couple trip out of it!

Love this skort
Another great skort from Athleta! This is a great piece to do Spin class, treadmill, elliptical, etc. I will definitely be comfortable running errands in this with a lightweight jacket over my workout clothes. I am 5' 4" and curvy . . . got the small and it fits perfect.

Love it
Skirt fits great and so pretty! I wear this mostly for running, and the fabric of the shorts underneath keeps me cool and dry. The only thing that I might change is thigh circumference of the shorts underneath. Ladies like me with muscular thighs beware, these are snug.

At 5' 8" and 140 lbs, I ordered a ... Medium ... black and think it fits perfectly. Not so tight that I have to shoehorn myself into it but not baggy either. I could probably have gotten by fine with the Regular length but I'm paranoid about exposing too much rear so I went with the ... am happy with my choice- it's cute and springy looking yet slightly more modest (but without making me look like an Amish lady out for a run- not that there's anything wrong with being an active Amish woman). Very high quality, comfortable, and a good value even at full price. I would definitely buy this again if they make it in gray, brown, or dark purple.

Great skort
I loved this skort! I am 5"6" ... fit 145 lbs and am usually a med bottom, large top in Athleta clothes and the medium fit nicely, though was a little large in the waist, I think because it is supposed to be worn lower rise some on the hips. I was worried that the ruffles would add volume in the hips but they lay flat and smooth and the inner skort does not ride up! I cannot wait for CT weather to warm up and wear this running, for now I will wear it to tennis, as it is great for both.

super cute and comfy
Was looking for some feminine looking workout clothes. I cross train a LOT so I like things that I can wear running, in gym/group fitness classes, walking the dogs, trail running, cycling, tennis. LOVE this skort but would caution the mesh short underneath is truly MESH and somewhat tranparent. NOT a good choice in group fitness when we're on the floor for crunches and our knees (or worse our feet) are high in the air. I'll probably wear panties with them for everything except long distance running when chafing is an issue and my knees should never be above my waist. Otherwise it fits great and I feel pretty wearing it. The layered skirt provides great, full range movement. I'm very petite at 5'0" and my legs aren't long and lean, I'm more gymnast built with thicker thighs. I love all these new workout skirts but they seem a little long on me - they are longer than running shorts so it makes my legs seem that much shorter (but that's me and my own self conciousness - I'm told I look fine).

Sassy Skort!
This is a must have, cute, sassy, and unique skort. Very comfy with a hint of style. I'm not fond of the drawstring at the waist, and it doesn't need to be there as far as I'm concerned. The string adds a bump to the silhouette. You could easily remove it and the waist will be just fine. The layers are really cute and will dress up anything you wish to pair with it. The fabric is super comfy, but take note that the inner "legging shorts" of this skort do fit like a pair of shorts underneath. This could be a benefit. Overall, I would have kept this skort if I were even 15 years younger! I'm 51 and 5"3" ... I ordered a ... which put the hem at a perfect length for me, but my aging thighs didn't do well with the raised "flirty" sides :( I would definately keep this, and buy more colors, if I were younger and had nicer legs. Otherwise, you cuties out there should give it a try. I especially liked the zippered pocket at the back waistline. Nice quality. I exchanged it for another Athleta skort as their clothes wash and wear beautifully.

I have worn it to my gym a couple of times and Love it. I have ran in it. I am debating between this skort or another Athleta skort for the Disney Princess 1/2 marathon this Feb. Thank you for making ... options. I am 6 ft ... love running skirts but most places do not offer them in talls.

Cute dress, got lots of compliments
I bought the dress for a winter get away to the Bahamas. Wore it to the pool, the beach and around town. Very comfortable, lightweight and kept me cool. I'm small, 5'3", 125 lbs with an athletic build and the ... 4 was perfect. Normally I purchase Petite ... but the regular ... 4 was great. The ladies I traveled with all want the same dress now.

Great travel, casual and dressy dress!
Thank you Athleta for offering so many ... options, I am 6'2" a ... 10 and the majority of my clothes are all from a division of Gap. This dress is awesome! The proportions are great for hour glass figures and the fabric is light and won't wrinkle. This dress is easily dressed up or down and is a perfect canvas for adding some personal accessories. I bought this dress in black & I'm going back for the blue one too. Keep offering ... lengths & all us ... girls will keep buying them up!

Sorry, I don't own the dress--yet, but the reviewer KM3 burned my buttons with her comment. Stop making longer dresses? There's not that many of us ... Since I've been 6'1 since I was 16 and forced to wear Mens clothes in the beginning I can REALLY appreciate the amount of ... options that have cropped up over the years. Is there still a very limited selection? Yes. Is that limited selection often very expensive? Yes. Which is why I've been scouring the Internet for hours looking for a dress for my cousin's beach wedding that won't hit mid thigh! Just look at all the other reviews and you'll see plenty of reviews from 5'10 ladies and up. So one dress out of the multitude of options for regular ... ladies doesn't fit you right. Stop whining and go look somewhere else. At least you have the option of getting it hemmed. I can't very well throw on a few extra inches of fabric now can I?

You must buy this dress
I love love love this dress! I am petite 4' 11", weigh 108 pounds and a "C" cup. I ordered a 2 petite. It fits perfect! I like that I don't have to wear a bra. There is plenty of support. I have the black color and just ordered another in the purple. My husband really likes the dress. The word he used was "Sexy". He usually never really comments on my clothes. You can dress it up with heels or go causal with sandals. It was the perfect crusing dress, packed well with no wrinkles. The dress falls right above the knee. Petite is acutally petite. No hemming required. You must give this dress a try!

i usually have a hard time ordering clothes that I can't try on first..but i loved this dress so much that I had to try it. I'm so glad I did!! I love it. I ordered my regular ... fit perfect. The fit is very flattering. I love the material and the elastic in the back gives it a nice secure fit. I'm a mom of 2 and 43yrs old...and don't have the body of the model who was wearing this dress, yet it still looks great! This dress will be a favorite for some time I'm sure.

wonderful dress, but beware of tires
I am 5'4' and 130 lbs (give or take a couple lbs :-) my bust is 34C, 27" waist, 34" hips. I am pear shaped. The ... 4 fit like a glove. I have a small mommy belly, but no tire. If you are have any extra baggage around the waist, you may not enjoy this dress, since it is fitted along the waist and flares out at the hips. Great for ladies that have flat tummies since the fabric is thin and would show every bump, but hides any extra weight you may have in the rear. The dress comes to my knee, which I like because I have larger thighs and like to keep them hidden. This really is a packable dress. It may look a tad bit wrinkled when it comes out of the bag, but it will quickly iron itself out while wearing. Very versatile dress.

Athleta doesn''t make clothes for busty gals!
This dress would be great if it provided decent coverage in the bust. It is very cute, the fabric is great and it has a nice shape. I think it would be a great item to take on trips, however, sice I have a 36DDD top and wear ... 8 pants it's not for me. I give up. I won't be ordering any more clothes from Athleta since nothing fits up top. I am so disapointed! I've purchased several bathing suit tops as they have the "bra cup" ... but I should have limited my puchases to those items.

Beautiful fit, but...
I so badly want to love this dress. I bought my first one back in February and took it to Indonesia with me - it was perfect and didn't wrinkle in the suitcase. Then it lived in my closet until summer in MN. Now, I'm generally very gentle with my clothes. I was looking forward to having a dress that I didn't have to be so careful with, something I could really play in. The material this dress is made of just doesn't want that to happen for me. It snagged at the lightest contact with a grocery basket, the spot where my purse falls made the fabric pill, and it holds onto stains like you wouldn't believe (lip gloss and sunscreen - Shout doesn't get it out). It's too bad, because it fits me like a glove!
