LOVE THIS ...
This ... simply styled with a heaver knit fabric and pockets. It hangs well and won't stretch out of shape. I see alot of other reviewers who don't like the length, but I love it. I am 5' 8 -135 and most long dresses come above my ankles where this one skims the floor. If you live near an Athlea store they hem for free so should be easy for you shorter girls. It has a built in bra so you basically can pull the ... go. I just wore it to work yesterday with a shrug and scarf and it looked and felt great. I ordered several colors because I like it sooo much. I wear a small.

Great dressy casual maxi
I'd recommend this for dressy casual all day long! I ordered in my usual size small (5'6'', 135 lbs) thinking I may have to hem it because several reviews say it's too long. I didn't have this issue. I washed it before wearing it for the first time because the fabric (dye) had an odd smell out of the package. I dried it for about 15 minutes and I think this caused it to become more snug all around, as well as shortened the length, too. Very flattering in the waste, hips and butt. Also flatters a smaller chest with the built in bra. Will probably order at least one more, as I have little willpower when I find something I like that comes in multiple colors!

perfect
I'm small busted but I hate bras. This was perfect for me. its snug on top but loose going down. I normally wear a 12 and a large was perfect. It was too long but I always have to hem everything. We travel to Hawaii regularily and i like long dresses. I got it in black. I have a large brimmed black straw hat that goes great. add a belt and long necklace and I can go out.

My favority Athleta ... ever!
I know own this ... two colors, both the black and plum. Every time I wear one of them, whether it be with a long cardigan at work or sleevless around town, I receive mulitple compliments. The built in bra is comfortable and ideal for someone small chested like myself (34A). I am 5'7'' and 128 lbs. I usually wear a size 4 in Athleta, but after trying on both the XS and S, I opted for the XS. It was a little long, but once washed, it is now the perfect length to wear with flats or a slight heal. The plum color is beautiful.

Cruise dreaming
I bought this ... blue striped version to take on our family cruise. I haven't worn them for long yet, but at first glance and a brief wear, they are amazingly comfortable dresses. I am 5'9", 165lbs, and wear a 36D. (The built in support is good, but I will wear a racer back bra with mine.) The medium was a great overall fit for me. I did order a tall because I like my maxi dresses to truly be long. The tall was just a bit long for me. I hemmed it up about 1 1/2 inches with a double decorative stitch along the bottom, and now it's the absolute perfect length I was looking for to wear on the cruise.

Love the color
I got the plum color in this ... love it! As expected from all the previous reviews, it's way too long (seriously, why is a size 2 or 4 made for giants?!). But I like the overall fit and style so will spend the extra money to have it hemmed. I like the built in support - makes it an easy ... travel with.

Almost perfect
I've been shopping everywhere for Tee Maxi dresses for my tropical vacation. I must have tried on a dozen different dresses, but this is the only one that made the cut. I liked it so well I bought another one in green. I'm 5'5", slender and 56 years old. I appreciate the support of the built in bra. The neckline is goldilocks perfect...not too low and not too high. The fabric weight is flattering because it drapes nicely without being too clingy. Both dresses were far too long on me, and length seems to vary dramatically between dresses. The green ... easily 3 inches longer than the pink one. I'm rarely willing to spend more on tailoring, but in this case I made an exception and had the hems shortened. I found the waist to be a bit roomier than I like, but a casual belt fixes that problem.

Great styling.
... way long for me at 5'7'. Color (green) was just too much like the Maxi tee striped ... ordered at the same time, which I kept despite the length. If it had been available in olive I would have kept it and hemmed it. Very comfortable and pockets are cute. What is with the length of the maxi dresses? All three of the maxi dresses I ordered were way too long.

Cute but way too long!
I am 5'5" and this ... 6 inches too long - I would have to hem it that much for it to come down to my ankles. Even the highest heels aren't enough to keep it from dragging on the floor. Other than that, it's a great ... but it needs to come in a petite if they're going to make the regular this long!

Holy Long ... Batman!
Everything about this ... fantastic but it was way too long. I'm 5.6' and this thing was about 4 inches too long. My idea with this was to wear flip flops with it in summer, alas! Returned.

Too Long!
I really hoped this ... would fit; it looked like the exact type of versatile ... hope to find for an upcoming trip to Hawaii, so I over looked all the reviews saying it's too long. I'm 5'7", 124#, and bought a medium since I didn't want it too tight. This ... so long that even with a 3" heel, it drug the ground! No chance of wearing flats with this ... also should have ordered a small, as the medium was too big. If I didn't have to deal with the ridiculous length of this thing, I'd re order in a small, but I don't want to have to try and hem this solid color knit; too much trouble. Otherwise, it's made well, and the style would be great if it fit better.
