Happy with this ...
I love the fit and shape of this ... am 5'9" and 135lb and find that dresses on normal people are tunics that demand leggings on me. Not so for the Sochi Sweater ... got the medium and it fits well - the length is about an inch above my knee, and the sleeves are just a tad on the long side - just covering my wrists (how I prefer to wear long sleeves). I didn't have any problems with the collar that other reviewers had, fit great right out of the box. Will be washing cold and drying flat, to make sure I don't lose any of this length! Love it!
The compliments will roll in!
For reference, my measurements are 33", 25", 37". I ordered this in an XS and it fits perfectly- not snug and certainly not hanging either. Love this ... It's incredibly soft, very cozy, and ageless. I know it will live a long, happy life in my closet! I always receive compliments when I wear it. The sleeves are a tad long on my 5'3" frame, but I just roll the cuff up once and it looks fine. You won't regret getting this one!
All I hoped for!
I have been dying to get this ... every since it first came out! I jumped at it when it went on sale, and am so excited about it!!! I'm 134/5'5"", and usually am between an xs or s in Athleta. When I ordered it, there was only a S available. Unfortunately, it is a little too big for me - its on the long side, sleeves are long, and its a little loose in the bust area (I am very small chested). I DO, however see the potential in it, and was going to keep it anyway because I love it so much, but then I saw that Athleta got more xs in stock, so I'm going to try that. It is very cozy, soft, stretchy. I was also very pleasantly surprised with the blue - it is definitely closer to a purple, but is a beautiful color, and I love it.
A Must Have!
This ... uber flattering and great for the season. The cowl neck drapes well and the bodice is slim and flattering. The overall length works well with a variety of boot heights and the ... does not cling to leggings underneath. I particularly like the length of sleeve, a little long and super warm.

I have been searching for the perfect sweater ... wear during the winter months. I definitely wanted long sleeves and some type of turtle neck. I was waiting for this one to go on sale while I continued my search. Finally, I decided to buy it at full price, and I am not disappointed. It fits perfectly. I love the Gem Blue color! You can wear this color with either brown or black boots. I think this ... can be very casual with leggings and flat boots, or ... up with tights, heeled boots and the perfect earrings. Though the ... may seem a bit pricey, I think it will be a wardrobe staple for many years to come, so worth the investment. I am 5'6", weigh 120, and ordered the small. I do have broad shoulders and long arms. It does not fit super tight, but lays nicely and is very flattering.
SWEATER ...
I like the style of this ... very much. It is soft and nice and thick to keep you warm on cold days. The length is a little to long and the sleeves are to long but you can cuff them up and it still looks good. I wish it would have come in a petite then it would have been just right.
Love this ... but.....
I ordered two (in different colors), and they fit completely differently. One had sleeves that were super long, and the overall length was long (past my knees, I'm 5'4"). The other (light grey, not that flattering of a color on me) fit much better. As others have reported, the material is thinner than you might expect, but the empire waist is a very flattering fit. Now I see my size (small) is available in both the purple and blue - gorgeous colors! I'm going to send these back and order one of the other colorful colors - I just hope this one fits!!
nice ... overall
... nice overall. Normally wear a medium (5'7" & 135 pounds). ... fits everywhere but is a little tighter than I like around the hips and back side which is a shame b/c it fits so nice everywhere else! Is plenty long enough including the sleeves - I am long waisted and usually have trouble with dresses being long enough. Sleeves are nice and long if you have long arms, if not, they can easily be turned up. ... looks better on than in catalog. Is soft, not sure if it will lose its shape since it is so soft and "stretchable". Not planning on wearing it until I shed a few pounds so the backside doesn't look so "curvy" ;-) Would order another color but I don't feel the ... worth the regular price, I got mine on sale.
Nice ...
Soft and versatile. Looks great with black tights and boots, or over black pants - or jeans. My only complaint is that the neckline, although very pretty and flattering, will limit what you can wear it with - aka - jackets and scarves. But it's a great dress..but I'm mostly wearing it as a long sweater with a silver pin and silver earrings. Very soft and holds it's form. And love that the sleeves are long!
Almost Perfect
This ... caught me eye in the catalog because of the unusual neckline. I ordered an XS in the port wine color (which is a gorgeous burgundy color, btw). I am 5'5" and 110 lbs and wear a 0 in pants these days. The XS fit well. The sleeves are a tad bit long, which just lends the ... cozy feel in my opinion. They won't look too long to anyone else. The ... hits me a few inches above the knee. I wish it were longer, as my knees don't look model cute, but I plan to wear this ... tights or leggings all the time so I think I'll get by. The issue I had with the first ... received was that the neck just wouldn't hang right. It was as if there was just too much material there. I fussed and fussed and even washed the ... see if it would hang better, but ended up exchanging it. The second ... has a more cooperative neckline, but the seam underneath the zipper pocket doesn't hang quite as nice as ... #1 did. I may exchange one more time -- for this kind of money I think it should be pretty much perfect. I do like the fabric, though it was a bit thinner than I expected. Because of the generous neck, the ... feels warm and cozy even though in reality the fabric is kind of thin.
A little too long
I'm 5'5", with and my torso/leg proportions are average. The models must be really tall or have extremely long legs, because this ... hit me almost mid knee. In the photo, it shows the length hitting about 6 inches above the knee. That's a pretty big difference. I was hoping to wear this as a tunic with yoga pants and that doesn't look quite right when paired that way. The sleeves are a little too long but not so much that it will hinder me at work, typing. I am satisfied with the color but it is more purple than blue.
