Best Maxi!
After reading all of the reviews I decided to give this ... try. I've tried many maxi dresses and had never found one that I loved. My search is over.....this is the perfect maxi! I'm 5'4" 110 pounds and a 32D. I purchased the small and it fits great everywhere except the length. I knew that would be the case from the reviews. I took it to my local drycleaner and $15.00 later the length was fixed. Don't listen to some of the reviews that say this ... would be hard to shorten. It's very easy and well worth it. I purchased the green which is not something I would normally chose but it's beautiful. I will be ordering more colors.
Cruise dreaming
I bought this ... blue striped version to take on our family cruise. I haven't worn them for long yet, but at first glance and a brief wear, they are amazingly comfortable dresses. I am 5'9", 165lbs, and wear a 36D. (The built in support is good, but I will wear a racer back bra with mine.) The medium was a great overall fit for me. I did order a tall because I like my maxi dresses to truly be long. The tall was just a bit long for me. I hemmed it up about 1 1/2 inches with a double decorative stitch along the bottom, and now it's the absolute perfect length I was looking for to wear on the cruise.

I have a lot of Maxi Dresses and this one became my favorite right away. I was worried about the support that was built in but this support was perfect. That is pretty rare in dresses. Love this ... Highly recommend it
Perfect Tank ...
This ... fits perfect!!! Finally a maxi tank ... really is long enough. I am 5'9" and 145lb and the medium is absolutely perfect. It hangs lovely and feels incredibly soft. I ordered the olive color and plan to order at least one other color. Additionally, the built in shelf bra is not overly binding but does what it should; the pads included are wierd, I replaced them with a different style. Overall, I can't wait for summer so I can wear this.
My new favorite ...
GREAT ... got the Indigo & the color is so pretty--almost a periwinkle blue. The material is wonderful; super stretchy, soft & comfy. Ordered this for an upcoming vacation; I wanted summer clothing that was versatile, would travel well & stand up to heat/humidity. The Solid Tee Maxi ... perfect! I'm very out of shape due to a recent injury, & to my horror NONE of the summer clothing I had fit me--yikes! I'm 5'9", about 20 lbs overweight right now (wear a size 8-10/M under normal circumstances), full C cup & hippy/pear shaped with a lovely new stomach bulge--yay, aging! Had no idea what size to order, so I whipped out the tape measure & went to the size chart. On top I'm a Large, but my wide hips make me an XL on the bottom. After reading reviews about the "drapey" fabric, I went ahead & ordered the XL & I'm glad I did. The fabric DEFINITELY drapes, so I'll be wearing Spanx underneath to smooth out my lumpy parts. (If you don't have lumpy parts, the drapey effect will look great.) The top & shelf bra could be snugger, but that's because of my out of-proportion body & not the cut of the ... Suprisingly, I could probably even get away without a bra--the shelf bra & soft bra cup inserts are amazing & give me shape/light support (& I have droopage issues); if this were a Large I DEFINITELY wouldn't need a bra! Overall a very flattering, comfy & versatile a line maxi ... & the front stitched pockets make it interesting. My husband loves it too, which is a huge bonus! And it's so well made, I'll be able to take it to a tailor once I get back into shape. I'll be wearing this ... LOT--over a bathing suit at the beach, running errands, hanging out, going out, & even with a wrap & boots in the winter!
A favorite in my closet
I first bought this ... print and fell in love with the fit, the comfort, and the handy pockets that are built in. When I had to return a different ... discontinued, I chose to order another one of the t shirt dresses in black instead of getting a refund. Now the t shirt ... Rio Maxi ... main staples of my closet, and I rotate between the various colors and prints each day. Comfort and class all in one! And they just plain ol' look great on me. I am 5'10", wear a size 10-12, 36C and wear the Tall Large in this and the Rio Maxi. I don't have to wear a bra with them either, especially the t shirt ... Plenty of coverage and support.
Almost perfect
I've been shopping everywhere for Tee Maxi dresses for my tropical vacation. I must have tried on a dozen different dresses, but this is the only one that made the cut. I liked it so well I bought another one in green. I'm 5'5", slender and 56 years old. I appreciate the support of the built in bra. The neckline is goldilocks perfect...not too low and not too high. The fabric weight is flattering because it drapes nicely without being too clingy. Both dresses were far too long on me, and length seems to vary dramatically between dresses. The green ... easily 3 inches longer than the pink one. I'm rarely willing to spend more on tailoring, but in this case I made an exception and had the hems shortened. I found the waist to be a bit roomier than I like, but a casual belt fixes that problem.
Great alternative to pants
I love maxi dresses & this one is great; because of the fit & fabric it looks very casual.

... way long for me at 5'7'. Color (green) was just too much like the Maxi tee striped ... ordered at the same time, which I kept despite the length. If it had been available in olive I would have kept it and hemmed it. Very comfortable and pockets are cute. What is with the length of the maxi dresses? All three of the maxi dresses I ordered were way too long.
Almost right
I loved the fit of this maxi in the chest area, but the waist and butt were too loose and it made me look frumpy. It didn't hug my curves in the right areas. I returned it, which is too bad, because I love the color and material of this ... too.It's hard for me to find a maxi that fits just right and has a cute print. I'm a slender 5'8" at 140.
I Wanted This ...
I wanted this ... so badly that I decided not to wait and see if it went on sale. I have 2 of the printed maxi dresses from Athleta and absolutely love them. I thought a solid black ... would be perfect. Unfortunately, this ... did not fit the same way as the printed versions. I wear a size 12 and the Large fits me like a glove in the prints. The solid color ... too big in the bust and underarm but too tight in the stomach and hips. I am so dissapointed to send this ... back. I won't even reorder it in a XL because the bust would be way too big.
