I'm 5'6" 128 lb, ordered small. Fit is perfect. Organic cotton feels great! i"m a Mom of 3 young ones and this ... perfect for everyday or for a night out with my hubby:-) Wished I would have ordered other colors :-( Length hits a few inches above knee which is fine for me.

I love this dress. I got a beautiful deep plum color last year after I discovered the sleeveless version (which I also love). The fabric is great quality -- making it one of the few long sleeved ... I've found that has thick fabric that actually keeps you warm in the colder months -- and I love that it's organic cotton. I'm small busted with a slender build, and the neckline and cut of the dress is truly flattering. I came back to get another color or two, but it's sold out in my size in every color. Super bummed. Please don't discontinue this, Athleta! You've got a huge winner here.
pleasantly surprised
I bought this ... whim. When it arrived i was pleasantly surprised. It fit perfectly. It's cute, casual (i can't wear it yet b/c it's long sleeved and it's still too hot here). The cotton is nice, it's not too tight where i feel like i have to suck it in. i love the empire waist on it. Would look cute with high boots, heels or flats, can be worn with leggings too. It's definitely not a work out ... It's casual and comfy and I plan on wearing it to work all fallwinter long. I'm 5'2" and about 130 pounds. I think I got a medium. I haven't washed it yet so I don't know if it shrinks or not.

This ... fit great and is very flattering on the bust. I wear a 36C and I'm 5'10" 175lbs. The cotton is a nice weight and is of good quality. I love the versatility of the ... - I can wear it to the office with boots and tights, and I even wore it out to dinner for my birthday. Love this ... purple is actually an eggplant color, though - looked lighter online.
Great ... very versatile
This ... perfect for just about any occasion. It can be ... up with tights and boots, or worn with sandals or clogs for a more casual look. The material is super thick cotton which makes the ... look rich and lay nicely over my curvy parts. This is the first item that I've ever had to exchange from Athleta though. Usually reading the reviews I get a sense of where I fall between sizes. I ordered two ... ordering this one...the Lotus ... one, and both in an XS. The Lotus ... fit like a dream, but this one was a little tight through the hips in the XS. I almost kept it, thinking it might stretch a bit, but opted to exchange for the small. I am a bit disappointed, because the small is a bit too big in the hips and waist, but fits fine everywhere else. I am 5'2" and about 126 with a thin, very muscular frame. I know the ... one of my favorites for many years to come. It will be great to travel with and one I can wear to work as well.
Love the neckline and color, but a wee bit short for me!
I think I'll get tons of use out of this ... It's a nice heavyweight cotton with just enough stretch. It's easy to ... up or down and I'll be able to wear it in most of the seasons. I wore it yesterday with sandals, but I'll be able to wear it with tights, boots and a sweater in the fall and winter! The mallard blue is a beautiful, deep, rich color. My only complaint--I think it shrank a little bit in length when I washed and dried it. Other than that, the size small fits just as I hoped it would! The sleeves are even long enough for me, which is rare! My only suggestion--make a third version of this ... 3/4 sleeves, then I'd definitely buy another one! I also think this ... would look cute and be even more functional if it had pockets. Some cute patch pockets on the front of the ... would look nice and be a great place to drop in my cell phone or chapstick! I'm very happy with this ... keep looking to see if a 3/4 sleeve version becomes available so I can get a second ...
surprisingly tight through arms
This seems to be a quality ... made with nice organic cotton. It was nice and fitted, but I was surprised at how uncomfortably tight the sleeves were. I have quite thin arms, but had to send back due to the restricted feeling. A shame, as I ordered the tall, and really loved the length. I'm 5'10".

very nice thick cotton, and I like the factf that it's organic. The dress is a bit short, so you have to wear leggings with it. I am flat chested and this dress tells the world that. I am keeping it anyway because it's comfy and not bad looking. Just not as wonderful as I had hoped.
Frumpy McFrumperton
I was really excited to try this ... seemed from the reviews to be very flattering on smaller busts, and I'm always looking for a nice quality ... wear during the cooler months. I ordered this ... two different colors, both in a Regular XS, which is my normal size and what I wear 98% of the time. (For reference, I'm 5'4", 110, 34 less than-A; I'm that in between height where sometimes I can wear petites, but sometimes they're too short.) Both ... fit in a similar way, so at least the quality control is consistent. However, the arms were too long and baggy, the upper torso was too tight across (from shoulder to shoulder), the waist was too big, and the skirt was stiff and overly flared out from the too big waist. I was really sad to see that all of these things combined made the ... look really frumpy on me. The only part that was actually flattering was the rouched bust, which fit perfectly, with the empire waistband hitting just below. One upside is the fabric -- a smooth, thick, stretchy cotton jersey, very nice quality. Maybe the petite XS would have fit me better; I don't know. I didn't sufficiently like how this style looked on me to warrant exchanging for a different size, though, so I just returned both ...
