Exactly what I needed
I could finally relax outdoors, knowing I wasn't getting burned and wasn't risking future skin cancer while doing what I love! I'm extremely fair skinned and skin cancer runs in my family.. but I love the outdoors including water skiing. I lived in it all weekend with 100% success! I have already ordered two more of these tops, and now my mother in-law to-be wants one. My fiance warned me I was going to be too warm in it, but it didn't affect my body temp at all, in fact, I felt better with it on - it wasn't hot or sticky at all, even out of the water in the intense afternoon sun. I wish I had shorts in the same material! I'm 5'2, 120 lbs, 32C. The xs fit great. Across the chest was sung but not too tight. The forearms and wrists were just a tad bit baggy so for my next purchase I ordered another xs as well as an XXS. I'm curious if the xxs will be more like a glove that area for more in the-water time... But even if it isn't, it wasn't really an issue and didn't affect swimming, skiiing or rope swing jumping at all, with or without lifejacket - it was perfect.

Perfect Beach Top!!!
I needed a rashguard this year and purchased the Summer Shade Tee on sale in the pink/cocobean combo. I am 5'3" 145lbs, size large in tops, size 10/12 in bottoms. Loved the top and fit perfectly but didn't love the color pink(sort of a dark dingy pink). I returned and purchased the Tide Blue/Chartruse combo instead.Love it and will purchase another in the Gloss Pink. Perfect for the beach to swim or just lounge. Very light weight and doesn't feel tight. Even if you order a size that is a little small I still think it would look and feel great.

Great shirt - PLEASE consider making it in TALL sizes
Love the shape of this shirt -- very fitted without being too skin tight. As many previous reviewers have stated, I wish the length was a little longer, maybe about 2 inches. Or better yet, keep the sizing the same for the many who find this shirt to be perfect, and PLEASE, ATHLETA, manufacture this shirt in a TALL SIZE! I think if you are petite or have a short torso, this length will be perfect for you. If you are tall or have a long torso, you may or may not be comfortable with the length. I am 5'8", 150 lbs (usu wear M/8 pants and M tops) and have a long torso and long arms, even for my height. I am 42 years old, so I am not about having my belly hanging out. I ordered this shirt in a medium and have been on the fence about keeping it. I am thinking I will keep it b/c i love the shirt and the sun protection it offers, but I will be limited to wearing it over a one piece bathing suit or with my shorts that have a little higher of a rise. I ordered another in a large, just to see if that does anything for me, but I'm afraid that although it may offer more length, it may also be too wide. We'll see.....I'll try to let you know!

great cover up
We spend alot of time in the summer on the water. This shirt will make a great coverup from the sun when I am hanging out on the boat, jet ski or kayak . I am 5'11" and 160 lbs. 46 yrs old with wide shoulders, long arms and a small belly pouch. I ususally wear a medium in tops but sized up to large for this one. the shirt skims the ... my bathing suit bottoms and coverup shorts and the sleeves fit just fine. It does not fit tightly like a typical rash guard I will probably not wear so much swimming but for my purposes it will be great- I have the pink and it has brown "trim" that goes nicely with brown or black.

cute shirt
This shirt is too heavy to wear in the summer where I live, but I decided to give it a try for a spring/fall running shirt. It fits really well and is the perfect weight for running outside in cool weather. I found it to fit true to size. I usually wear a size S ... (size 4, 34D) and the S in this was relaxed but close to the body, and the fit through the bust and arms (problem areas for me) was quite generous. The sleeves were a little long, but I'm petite so sleeves are always too long on me. Unlike many tops i've tried from Athleta, the length on this one was just perfect, hitting at mid hip. I got the light blue and it's a bright, flattering color. Can't wait for cooler weather so I can wear this.

good tennis top
I am 5'8" and 165 lbs and ordered the 1X. Fits perfectly. I had the blue and this time ordered the white with pink trim. It is a good ... wear over halters and tanks for golf and tennis. The weight is light so I also wear these tops to the movies or casual dining when I know the ac is going to be turned up in the summer. These tops are such a fresh look.

Great top!
I bought two of these rashguards to take on trips to the Grand Canyon and Lake Powell this spring and summer. I usually wear a medium in tops, but after reading reviews decided on the large. They fit perfect! I'm 5'5" tall and weight about 160 pounds. I don't like my shirts tight against my body, especially rashguards, and these fit great. The length is good and the sleeves are perfect too. The pocket in the front kind of bugs, but I'm not so concerned about it. I'm just glad to have something to throw on that will protect me from the sun. The colors are great too. The pink color is fun and vibrant!
Info for Big Girls
I was so excited to find a long sleeve top for a jungle hike I'm doing later this Spring in Belize. Then it arrived and I was highly disappointed :( Yes, I am a Big girl and I currently wear a 1x so I ordered one of these tops in size 2x (the only size available in that color) and two in size 1x. Neither size even comes close to fitting. Why in the world can't a big girl find active wear clothing that actually fits a big body? Just because I can fit my size 1x body into this top doesn't mean that it fits. And truthfully I don't (and I know no one else does) want see my flabby flab hanging out all over the place. Gross. Like many things, all the cute clothes are made for small girls. It's ridiculous and I just want to let any Big girls looking to order this shirt to know that these are not made for us. :( And to the small people who criticize, give us some activewear clothing that fits and doesn't hug our flabby bodies (which we agree looks terrible) and maybe we too could be small. I guess I'm still waiting for the one break out ... clothing manufacturer to make appropriate activewear that realistically fits big ... doesn't just have a label in it with our size marked on it). We want to be smaller and we also want to look cute in the process...
