pants on sale - reviews

FInally: Fitness love for the tall girls.
These pants are wonderful. They are from a thicker fabric than what I am used to (from yoga pants) and the fit for talls is wonderful. I am six feet tall, and usually can never find yoga pants that don't shrink up after a few washes. They have held up and I have ordered additional pairs. Only downside; the elastic in one of my waistbands was accidentally stitched in at one point, and I can't get the waistband to lie flat. If it really bothers me, I will exchange it. It doesn't change how i feel about the pants! :)

I was very excited to own something from ATHLETA!
I am really impressed how easy the sales woman made my purchase. I used my reward points to purchase the yoga pants. The sales woman stayed on the phone with me for awhile trying to help me spend the points. She was great! I liked the fact that the yoga pants came in petite sizes, which is perfect for me. The size was very true to my body type. The waist is just a little loose but not big. I have run outdoors in these pants and I am completely warm, not too warm. They are perfect! I look forward to making another purchase from ATHLETA. Thank you! :)

great fit
I love these pants for running. They run really super big, though. For example, I usually wear a 4 in Athleta pants and have two pairs of polartech powerstretch pants in medium. Bathing suits: med. When I got these pants in med they were weirdly huge. I was going to exchange for a small, but then looking at the measurements, I went for the XS, which fit absolutely perfectly. They stay put when on a run. They are really flattering, too. BTW, I am about 120# and 5'6".

Best yoga pants ever
These have quickly become my favorite yoga pants. The petite length is perfect for me (5' 3") and they are super comfy. The waist band stays in place and is comfortable. The stripe detail makes them a bit more interesting than just plain black yoga pants. I actually have these in both a large and a medium - I wear a size 12 pants but have hips and bum on the smaller side, and the large are a bit loose for me in the hip/rear area, when these went on sale I decided to try a medium - The mediums are snugger but still comfy in the waist. Definitely highly recommend!

Love the stye and feel
This is my 1st pair ever of Athleta yoga pants. They were on sale so I thought I'd try them out. I totally LOVE the feeling in these pants! I orderd the petite medium's. I am 5'2 and around 140, athletic build. They are so comfortable, light and they move with you. The waist is exactly how I like it. The only reason I did not give this 5 starts is because I like the pants just an inch or two longer. I guess being petite you kind of get used to long legged pants. However, that being said- I totally recommend these pants! Just try them for yourself.

great pants!
I love these pants, they fit perfect! As a 5'3" gal, it is extremely hard to find a pair of pants that aren't too long, and actually fit right. I bought the petites, and they fit perfect, super flattering too. If you're a fan of low rise pants, you'll love these. They're a bit thick, which makes them great for cold weather running or yoga, although they may be a bit toasty for summer weather.

Nice pants ON SALE
Had these pants not been on sale, I would not have purchased them because they are not that great. I am 5'6" and less than 125 lbs with thick thighs and a rather large bottom for my size. The pants fit well in length, throughout the thighs but a bit large around the waist. For some this can be good to hide any rolls but without a drawstring they may not stay up long depending on activity. Being a very active person, I would not recommend these pants to be worn for runs or any activities that would have one bouncing around like mad. The ride is nice but not that low.

very nice but snug
As always, I couldn't decide between the Petite or Regular length; XS or S size. Depending on the style, & if the product description is accurate, I could fit any of the above. I am 5'4", 114 lbs, with muscular thighs & a butt; slim waist. I had decided on the S Petite, or so I thought -- turns out that I ordered the XS Petite by mistake. (I have a Petite Small in the insulated kickbooty pants, and they are perfect). As it turns out, the XS Petite are fine, but they definitely are a tight fit over the butt and upper thigh. I think during my "fat days," these might have to be kept in the closet, but right now they are attractive. I love the cute stitching down the sides. The material is a nice, silky, light to-midweight fabric. The length on me is ok -- the pants hit the top of my shoes, but they don't "break" over the shoe. I like, therefore, that these would work very well with flip flops or sandals if you want to wear them as loungewear. They will work with sneakers, but they would be better if they were slightly longer. Despite the reviews warning about the short length, I decided to risk the Petite because I just HATE stepping & tripping on the hem of my pants. I would prefer something slightly shorter over something that I would drag on the floor. All in all, these are very attractive pants & I am pleased with the purchase. I would order another pair & probably will, but I might try another size, just to give myself some more breathing (or cake and-ice cream) room

Comfy
Like the fit of these pants. I ordered petite M (I usually wear a petite 8). These pants hug my hips, thighs, and rear without being too tight. I love the flared leg below the knee. They have a bit of a shine to them, which I wasn't expecting, but don't mind. The pants are really comfortable. I bought them on sale, and am very happy with them.

XL just barely long enough for 6''1", thin fabric
I expected these to be similar to my older Athleta Drynamic pants. They aren't; they're definitely a thin indoor weight fabric that can show panty lines. Also a bit of a sheen but I'm keeping them since I need a variety of weights of running/gym pants. ~ The XL is too short for me but I let down the 3/4 inch hem and sewed a zigzag on the raw edge, so they are just barely long enough. (I usually like a 37 inseam in jeans.) Overall, the pants are fine and not as low rise as I expected; at least, not in the XL. I really can't wear low rise pants but these are OK, at least in this size.

Cute pants but tight fit.
Before ordering the pants, I read the reviews because I am in between a size 8 and 10; I decided to order a medium regular instead of a medium petite. However, I found the pants to be too tight and too long, so I exchanged them for a large petite. While the size overall is better, the pants are too short. I like the style, but the pants are the wrong fit for me.
