The Perfect Running Around Skort
I like to wear skirts but don't like to flash people when I bend over so this skirt is perfect for me. I did not have trouble with the built in shorts like some other reviewers noted. I did need to pull the shorts up slightly when I put the skirt on, but then everything lies flat like it should. I am 5" 2", 116 lbs, with an hourglass build. I typically wear a S Petite or a 4 Petite. The 4 Petite fit perfectly. I liked this so much, I ordered another color at full price.

Perfect Skort
Love the Dipper Skort. The regular length was too long for my liking, hitting just above the knee. The petite size was perfect for me and I am not a petite at 5'7". I can wear this skort casually or to my job as a teacher. The material does not wrinkle, the fit is flattering, and it is comfortable except when it is too hot out. I have this skort in two different colors and would buy another.

Luv this skort!
I'm already a fan of the dipper shorts....so I decided to try the skort this year. I love it! I am 5' 5" and 140 lbs. A size 8 petite fit me perfect! The petite length hit at the right spot on my leg. The shorts underneath make you feel comfortable enough to go about your daily activities, while still looking super cute. The material is awesome! Highly recomended!

Great for Hiking
Amazingly cute skort that is cool and comfortable for hiking. I also plan of golfing in it. I am 5'10, 145 lbs and normally order Tall sizes in everything athleta. However, because I wear tennis skirts alot and like the shorter length, I was surprised that when I ordered this skort in a regular length it was still too long for my liking. So I exchanged for a petite 8, which fits perfectly and is still long enough for good coverage while hiking up hills and scrambling over rocks, but short enough for the legs to get some sun rays. I would recommend the petite if you wear active skirts alot and are used to the shorter lengths while exercising. It is still plenty long, even on my tall frame.

Fabulous fit!!
It is not easy to find a great fitting skirt for everyday wear, but this skirt absolutely hits the mark! I prefer my skirts to hug my hips, no poof (sz2 or xs, 120lbs). TIP: There is a HUGE DIFFERENCE between REG length and PETITE!!! The regular length has NO shape and almost knee length! But the same sz 2 in petite was cut VERY nicely (hard to believe it is the same skirt)!! Lays flat, hugs the hips nicely with slight flare at bottom and very flattering from the back (slight downside is that it's an inch shorter than I prefer, but totally workable). The fabric is wonderful, soft and resistant to creases so it always looks fresh, and the inner liner is very light weight and comfy (and perfect for windy days). I immediately bought in several colors. If you enjoy showing your shape, make sure to grab these before they sell out!

Love this skort!
The hidden drawstring is the key to the great fit of this skort. The material is lightweight and comfortable, and it covers well. Don't be surprised if you need to order up a size so that the shorts won't be too tight. I'm on the cusp of petite/regular, and wound up keeping both for slightly different looks. The regular length is perfect for work and running around town, and the petite is cute and casual. One qualm—the buckle in the back, which I may just remove, keeps pulling the back of the waist down.

Great everyday Skort
Just got my new Dipper Skort and couldn't be happier. The size is true to fit. This for me is the perfect Mom on the go skort. Great for the beach, boating ...moves with you. I am 5'4" so could really wear the reg or petite. Went for the reg length if you want short go for the petite. I will most likely order an additional one!

So comfortable and cute
I'm 5'3'' and 130 and have worn a size 8 for years. Ordered a petite 8 and had to send back for a petite 10 so I think this runs a little tight. Have ordered other petite 8's at Athleta and been fine. That being said, it was easy to exchange [...] and I love the look of this skort. Comfy and don't have to worry about exposing anyone.

Dipper Skort
I have the Dipper short and pants so finally got around to ordering the skort. I'm 5'3" 107 lbs and the size 2 fits perfectly. I didn't order petite but think the shorter style would look a little better. The skort flares out at the bottom and I wasn't expecting that based on the pictures. It's a little odd looking. Perhaps the petite would look better since it would be shorter but I'm not crazy about the available colors now. I have the Whatever skort in khaki so I don't want to order that color. I love the grey but it's not available in size 2/petite. Bummer.

Whoa Nellie! 14 Inches!!!
I ordered this skort in the Petite 4. I usually wear a petite from Athleta (5ft. 2 inches, fit 133lbs) and mostly wear a 4 but sometimes a 6, and usually a small in skirts. So, I expected, as per the website, for the skort to be 15 inches in length and when I opened it up I knew right away that it was too short for me! I tried it on and WOW!! I am fit and in pretty good shape, but it looked terrible on me that short! (Maybe someone a lot younger than me wouldn't mind but pushing 40 I just didn't think it did anything for me!) So I measured it and low and behold it only measured 14 inches, not the 15 they stated on the website. I sent it back and re ordered the 4 in the regular length. Hopefully that will work because overall it is really cute, the color blue is beautiful and I can't wait to wear it!

I am 5'1" and 119 lbs. I usually wear petite and am excited to find clothing lines that have petite sizes. I love the style and the length was perfect. What didn't work for me is the shorts part of the skort. The skirt sort of sticks to the short when you walk and the shorts felt a little tight.

Dressy skirt
I have several Athleta skirts and this is the one I go to for dressy occassions. I am 5'8" and 150 lbs, waist 31, hips 39, inseam 33. The 8 ... perfect. Yes .. 8P. I like skirts to be ~2 inches above the knee and the 8R hit my at the top of my knee. I have khakina which is a pretty gold khaki. I have a friend who has grey color and it's a beautiful grey (She is 5'9" 128 lbs and has the 4P). The material is very soft.

Great Quality and Very Cute!
I'm 5'2", 125 lbs and ordered the 4 regular. The length hits me right above my knees. If it were any longer, I think it would look awkward and I'd want to go with ... (they just didn't have ... my size). The 4 fits me, but is on the verge of being just a little snug. I love this skirt and the velvety fabric and was so excited to see the brown come in in my size (it was out when I bought it the first time in "ice"), I'm ordering the brown and think I will keep both!

Love the skirt. Love the give and the comfort. The waist is a bit large but the adjustable waist makes up for it and based on previous reviews -- what I expected. Great with tights and boots. I'm 4'11"; athletic build and ordered ... (thank you!). Love how I can adjust where it falls either lower on the hips or higher on the waist.

Big but beautiful
I m 5'7" tall and 126 lbs. I like my clothes to be a little roomy so I ordered this skirt in a size 6 which usually works on my frame. When the skirt came it was really enormous and very long. I returned it and exchanged it for a size 4 ... address the length issue). Now it is perfect! I love the material (substantial but soft) and gray color. It is just a bit above the knee and sits very comfortably on my hips. Very cute with boots. I will live in it!

This ... really cute and well made. I love the color too. However, I really could use a ... 0 rather than the regular 0. Come on Athleta make more in petites!

Great skirt.
This skirt is comfortable, has a little stretch. I ordered size 2 ... because I'm 5'5" (curvy 115-120#) and didn't want it to be too long. The ... pretty much the same length as the Vintage Ridge Mini Skirt.

Nice Skirt
This skirt is nice and I will be able to wear it through out the winter. I ordered a 8 ... but could have used the 6. It works with a belt and it could shrink a little. I am 5 feet tall and about 130lbs. and the lengeth is a couple inches above my knee with is great for work and everyday use with tights. Might order another color in the 6. Thinking it was a ... thought I would have to order up a size from my usual 6 at Banana Republic. Not true for this skirt.

Cute skirt!
I got compliments on my outfit the first time I wore this skirt to work. I got it in black. It's cute and dressy, and looks great with high heeled boots and tights. The drawstring cord inside is a plus, I like the large pockets and the fact that it has belt loops. Lots of thoughtful features. This is my first time ordering from Athleta and I find their sizing to be on the big side. I am 4'10" and 115 lbs. I ordered a size 2 (regular, not ... waist is a smidgeon big. With a belt, it's fine. The material is soft and lovely, and the stretch makes the cut forgiving. I typically would not buy a pencil skirt - I prefer A line cuts because of my somewhat ample rear end (37" hips) but this is cute. At first I thought it was a little tight around the bum area but my husband assures me I look hot in it. Who am I to argue?

Skirts run big
I ordered in an 8, reordered in a 6 and it's still a little too big. Athleta skirts seem to run big! I have had to order a ... large in some Athleta pants and a small or 6 (maybe a 4?) in skirts. Most stores/brands I wear a ... 6 or 8.The skirts is cute!

I'm 5'4" tall,112 lbs.I order these skirts in the size 2.I say skirts as I now own this one in 3 colors.I love the length a couple of inches above the knee on me the fabric is a nice medium weight so you can wear these in the spring/summer with sneakers and a tee, or add tights,boots and a sweater for fall/winter.The waist band is wide and sits at a very flattering point at the waist,plus there is a draw ribbon if you need to snug it up a little being a ribbon its not at all bulky and you cannot see it under your tops.I'm 47 and I think these skirts are appropriate for women in my age range not so long to be frumpy not so short to be inappropriate.Love this ...

Great ...
I searched up and down for a good cord mini. I'm pretty short (5'2") and regular length skirts are way too long on my short legs. This fit perfectly. I'm in the process of losing weight and was right in between a 10 and a 12 when I ordered this, so I went with the 10. So glad, the 12 would've been too big. This fit perfectly, not too tight. I've since lost a few more pounds and am actually hoping it'll shrink a little in the dryer but will definitely order a smaller size if it doesn't. I got the "purplish" color and it's really pretty. I usually choose a plain brown or black but so glad I went with something different. Looks great with my light brown wedge boots, but I could also wear it with flip flops during warm fall months (I live near the beach). I wore it on Thanksgiving and also out on the town when I visited some friends back home. Super comfortable, doesn't ride up too much, and I've gotten a TON of compliments on it. Get one, you won't regret it!!

so glad I bought this ...
I almost passed this one by because it is a "mini". I am 5'2" and ~ 130lbs. I purchased the Regular size 8 and it fits perfectly. It is just the right length -the ... would have been too short for me. Having the dimensions on the website is so helpful. I chose the "meteor gray" because I have enough neutral colored skirts. I wanted a slightly quirky color and this is perfect. Very comfortable. Very cute ...

getting a larger size and longer length
It is an adorbale ... like the reviewers said...but I think it runs a tad small. I am usually a 10/12 and I ordered a 10 R...it is too tight and way too short for me even though am 5'3" and 140...am 60yrs old and do ... stylishly and can go with short skirts and tights and still look well put together. This ... too short...love the color/cornerstone and my husband liked it also but suggests I order up. So am sending it back and getting a 12 Tall in the same color. I can wait for the new one and make another comment when it arrives because I really think it will work well in my winter wardrobe. I actually love it...just haven't ordered from Athleta before this so am working out the kinks with sizing.

LOVE THIS ...
I looked through the entire mall by my house and could not find any cord skirts so I ordered this one, and I am so happy I did. It fits perfect. Other reviewers said it runs big so I did order a size down and I ordered the regular instead of ... wanted it long enough that I could wear it to work and it's the perfect length.

great mini ...
Since this is a mini ... wouldn't tend to wear it for sports though it certainly could be used for that, with the right undergarments. It is a fine corduroy fabric, so while I would wear other skirts besides this one for sports, with leggings for warmth if needed, I wouldn't with this ... because it just seems too nice, and it also doesn't have elastic give like other more sporty skirts. I will wear this with short boots and cute tights for a great outfit, day or night. It will also look nice with a cute shoe (alas I have to wear flat shoes) or with a tall boot and socks or tights. The mauve color blends in well with this seasons' various purples and berries and blues. For footwear it could easily go with black or brown (or other colors if you have them!). This could also make a cute general active wear ... travel, but I wouldn't recommend it for heavier sports such as skiing. It is very cute on and would suit many body types.

Nice cord ... - bright urple!
I got this ... because I wanted something bright and fun for the winter to wear with black tights and boots. I'm 5'5 and 130 lbs, and the size 6 its well. It does ride up a little bit, but all skirts tend to do that on me, so I think it's not a fault of the ... once this fits in both the hips/butt and waist! I love the bright purple color and the drawstring inside for extra cinching power. Great buy!

I ordered this in my size but in a ... because I wanted a shorter length. The catalog often depicts the skirts much shorter on the model then when they arrive. The shorter length is great with leggings and boots. Glad I did this.

Fit was good, color was difficult for me
I was looking for a grey ... got the Meteor Grey color. It was a little too greenish/grey for what I needed. Was hoping for a true or asphalt grey. That said, the fit was great - for a change. Usually mini skirts run way too big for me on the waist (I got the size 0 regular - avg height and 114#), but this fit. The length was short, so if you are any taller than 5'5"ish and don't want a real mini, size up to tall size. I'm 46 yrs old, and the 17" length (I didn't measure it, but that's what was written in the description), which was about 3-4" above my knee, would be ok with tights, but I'd need some major leg self tanner without tights. I am going to return and try the Cornerstone color and see if that works as a grey. If not, the fit is so accurate, I might just get the black...

Good, but not great ...
I'm 37 with 4 kids ages 16 months through 10. So I can count the number of times I've worn a ... past decade on one hand. But now that even my youngest one is getting bigger, I feel I can venture into more fun clothes again, and that means wearing skirts! I saw this Vintage Ridge Mini ... online and loved the golden yellow color, so I ordered it in sizes 0 and 2. The size 2 was too loose, but the 0 fits (I'm 5'4" and 110 pounds). The ... isn't as fun and stylish as the Whenever Cord ... also ordered (and LOVE), ... another nice ... have in the closet.

I reluctantly returned this item
I am 5 ft / approx 105 lbs. Since the 2P was not available I ordered a 4P and a regular 2. The ... itself is very well made, I love the fabric and the color and it has just the right amount of "give". Unfortunately it was not at all flattering on me. The ... belled out around making me look "hippy" and neither tucking in nor leaving a shirt out helped. I tried putting various blazers & jackets over top ... didn't work either. I even tried to iron it thinking I could encourage the shape I was looking for. Unfortunately nothing worked and I sadly had to return both skirts. I gave 3 stars because I still feel the ... well made/constructed and it will look great on someone - just not me.

I struggled to choose the correct size and read many reviews to help guide me. Overall, I think this ... runs pretty true to size. I am 5'4'' and 118 lbs. I settled on the size 4 in the ... fits great. (I chose ... because I don't like when skirts fall at ... knee. This one fell about two inches above ... knee--perfect! I ordered two, one in charcoal and one in purple.) I have only had these skirts for two weeks and want to wear one everyday! I have gotten compliments on this ... each time I've worn it--even from strangers who walk up to me and ask, "Where did you get that ... love it!" I absolutely love this skort. The fabric is lightweight and cool, and they fit great!! The only thing that would make these absolutely perfect is if they were about another inch or two shorter. I'm 5'4" and prefer skirts on the shorter side, ... decided to go with the ... I'm really happy I did, because the regular size would have hit below ... knee. The ... 2" shorter than the regular size. I would definitely recommend these for a variety of activities.

Fun and flirty!
Cute skort! I like the flare and the safety of the shorts beneath. I'm 5'4", 125, fairly fit with an athletic build and normally wear a size 4 (with an inseam somewhere between regular and ... 4 ... fits like a comfortable glove--as if this piece were custom made for me--and the hem falls above the knee. I haven't been wearing skirts lately (just turned 40 and have a toddler), because I haven't been feeling so flirty, ... skort is bringing me back!

Love the ... option for ... short legs!
I love this skort----it helps absorb all the sweaty stickiness when it's hot and humid out and very comfortable. I'm usually a size 10 in jeans and pants and a size 8 in skirts or dresses. I have this same skort in a regular 10 (ended up very loose around the waist) as well as a regular 8 (which was a little too tight around ... hips) and both were a few inches too long as they came down to the middle of ... knee caps. When I noticed that this is now available in ... ordered both a ... 8 and a ... 10. The ... 10 was a comfortably snug fit and absolutely perfect---nowhere near as loose as the regular 10 and the length is now just a little above ... knees. Also loving the blue/gry slate color..

Great for the zoo, great for a museum, great for a lazy day or a day of travel. Finally, ... favorite skort in ... length! Seriously, I owned 3 in reg size ... 5ft woman, found the length too long (below knee), ... still loved it. Also, have the Dipper pants in sz 6 ... find needed to drop a ... 4) or else sat too low on waist. FINALLY, the ... sizes have arrived. Sz 4 ... fits me like the regulars fit the catalog models! YEAH! I always get complimented when I wear this ... women I don't know - it's flattering, comfortable, incapable of giving you an embarrassing flip up moment. What else can I say? Love these skorts
I have a olive Whatever skort for cooler months and a cord one for fall/winter and LOVE them. The cord ... not a skort which actually feels better less bulky. I ordered those in regular sizing and don't remember if they came in ... back then - I don't think so. ... just ordered the Asphalt in a ... size and it fits above ... knee - I am almost 5' 3". The others are just at/below ... knee, ... doesn't bother me. Very comfortable and versitile - I live in different types of skirts all spring/summer and wanted to add another of these one of ... very favorites.

I love this skort - super comfy ... also nice enough to wear out and about. It does run a little long though, in ... opinion. I am 5'5" and ordered a 4 ... - glad I did because it is just barely above the knee. If you like your skirts a bit shorter, then go with ... sale it is a great value!

I've had ... eye on the whatever skort for a long time ... debated taking the plunge as I thought it might be too flouncy. I've been all about the skort this summer and as a person who is only 5'1", I thought that the ... length was going to be too long to wear as a golf skort. I was right (plus no front pockets--which would make this the perfect skort ever), ... once I received it, I knew it would actually be more practical as an everyday ... So I exchanged it for the regular length and it drops to about mid knee for me. Perfect for wearing to work, running around town, etc. I can't believe it took me this long to get this skort! So much easier than wearing compression shorts under ... skirts! I gave it 4 stars because I do think the rise is pretty high (even in the ... version--I think Athleta petites only change the length and nothing else). It comes up over ... belly button and I prefer something just below. I also find the sizing a little inconsistent. I wear anything between a 2 and 6 in Athleta bottoms. I first tried the 4s and they fit, ... wanted more of a relaxed fit and thought if I sized up, I could drop the rise a bit. I went with the 6 and they fit just like the 4s. I also ordered two pairs of dipper pants at the same time and one fit loose and the other was too tight. I think some recommend sizing down, ... every time I've taken the size down advice, I always needed ... regular size or a size bigger. I must have more of a belly pouch than most. :( At any rate, I'm back online to buy more. ... partner is not happy, ... WHATEVER!

Sporty!
Been wanting to get this skort for at least a year. The fabric is silky and doesn't wrinkle much. I don't wear skirts very often, so the inner short made me feel much more confident wearing the skort. I am ... so I was concerned about the length. Fortunately, the ... hits just below the knee and the length is flattering. The 6 ... fits nicely and smooths over ... lower belly. Overall, a comfortable and versatile piece of clothing.

Petites finally
So glad they finally made this in ... bought two of the regular length last year and they are still nice ... hit a bit below the knee which is not particularly flattering. Now that you can order them in ... they hit just at ... knee and are very nice. I am 5'3" and the ... size hits just at ... knee.

didn''t meet ... expectations
I ordered two of these in size 12, based on the size chart. Normally I wear a size 10 in slacks. I had to return them, the waist was too big and overall they were about a size too big. I didn't exchange them for a 10 because they were too long to be flattering, ... would have tried them in a 10 if they had them in ... I'm about 5'3", although ... body is shorter than ... legs, I normally do not wear a ... slacks ... do in dresses. I weigh about 140# and carry extra weight in stomach. I liked the length of the shorts under the ... really wanted to keep them, ... they hit me right about the knees and it just wasn't a flattering length.

Great Skirt
Love this skirt! Great with a pair of tights, boots, and a sweater. I ordered a 2 petite and should have ordered a 0 petite. The length is great. I'm 5'4" 108 lbs and the 2 is a little big, but because of the drawstring is wearable without looking too big.

Wear as a midi
I have 2 "Whatever" skorts in size 10 petite, so when I saw the "Whenever" skirt, I jumped to get it. I ordered 10 tall to wear it as a midi. I'm 5'4" and it hits just below the knee. Looks fab with knee high boots. The waist seemed to be the same size when comparing the 10p Whatever skort with the 10t Whenever skirt (some other lines use very different measurements for waist and hip when making petite vs tall items of the same numeric size). I like that is has coordinating thread for the stitching (the Whatever skorts used contrasting thread). I think this skirt would be great for a business casual office, too, or just casual "on the go." Don't understand the point of the drawstring on the inside waistband, so I just removed it. Haven't washed it yet, so I can't speak to wear.

Fabulous skirt!
I absolutely love this skirt. my only complaint is that they there is no 0 petite. i am 5'2.5" (that half is important when you're under 5'4") and about 104 lbs. the 0 regular fits hips, a little big in waist- the drawstring helps a bit- but is too long. the petite 2 is just the right length but slightly large. this won't keep me from LIVING in this skirt but wish that athleta would make things a bit smaller all around for the fit shorties.

Get the Petite
I am 5'6" and weigh 145 lbs. I am always a size 10 regular or a medium in Athleta clothing. I ordered this skirt in a 10 and it was too big in the waist yet too tight at the hips and a bit too long to look cute. It just looked funny. So I returned it and bought it in size 10 petite ( I am NEVER a petite). The 10 petite fits perfectly! It comes to just above the knee (like in the photo) and fits well in the waist and the hips. The models in this catalogue must be really tall. I think this style would look best on someone with relatively straight hips; it doesn't fit quite as flattering as the Whatever skort, but it is still cute in its own right and I am keeping it.

length not as reported
I just received my Whenever Cord skirt in the mail today. I ordered a size 2 petite, and this was the correct size; I am about a 27" waist and 34" hips. The corduroy is a nice, soft cotton, and I love the waistband, which is lined with a pretty floral fabric. The problem, however, is the length. It works, but I was expecting -- per the site info -- the skirt to be several inches longer, which I think I would prefer. I measured the length myself, and it is 16 and 1/4 inches long, not the 19" indicated on the site. This has happened over and over again; I don't understand how/why there can be such a discrepancy between the reported and the actual length. I do really like the skirt otherwise, and the length, as I said, will work, but I had been hoping for something a little longer. Given the overall style of the skirt, I think it would look better longer -- more like a long skirt instead of tutu . . . and I hate to say it, but that's sort of what it reminds me of.

Ordered this skirt in black and the loden color, one in petite, one not. Sent the petite back--I'm 5'4" and it was way too short to be worn in public, even with tights! Usually I can wear a petite and they fall a few inches above the knee, but this was way shorter than the typical petite. So, if you're 5'4" or even 5'2"-5'3", I would not order the petite unless you are really slim and have legs you really want to show off. Otherwise, the fabric was nice, and will probably be even nicer once washed. I also returned the black regular, and am exchanging it for a loden regular. The loden (sort of a light olive color) was really nice and more interesting than plain old black.

Quest for the right length
i have wanted the whatever skort for a while but was frightened off by the reviews i read that said the length was way too long. when i discovered it came in petite, i was thrilled and ordered it right away. i ordered a 4 petite, but it was too short and tight. i ordered a 6 petite and it was also way too short. when i saw it came in a courderoy skirt, i asked how the length was. i was told it is 2 inches longer than the skort, so i ordered another petite. it arrived and was once again way too short, especially for a fall/winter skirt. i finally ordered the 6 regular and while it isn't quite as long as i would like, it works. i am in my early 40s and just can't get away with a short mini any more, especially not for chasing after 3 young kids. it is about an inch and a half above my knee, and i am 5'2".

Whenever Cord Skirt
I was very excited about buying this skirt as it was going to be my "go to" outfit for weekends instead of jeans. I read the reviews and should have listened. I am 5'6" and wear a 6 or 8 depending on the brand. I bought the 8 and it is too big and too long. It is not huge but it won't work so order a size down. I would recommend ordering the petite size to get the right length because at 21" it comes to the top of my knee and to make this look right it should be shorter. It is really cute and I love the style but the proportions are just off.

Sadly, no.
I was prepared to love this skirt. I got the 4 petite (I am 4'10.5", around 117 lbs, compact/muscular). The waist was big, and the drawstring cord, although a great feature, didn't help me. It was a size too big. The other problem was the flare - in the catalog it looks cute, but on my short little legs, it just looked odd. I thought it would be longer but I guess I don't need the petite skirt sizing after all. Am returning it, and I will try some different styles in a size 2. The sizing surprised me, since I studied the size chart carefully (27" waist, 37" hips) and ordered accordingly. This style, at least, seems to run somewhat large. This is a well made garment and I liked the material, and lots of nice detailing. If only I was taller...LOL! Better luck next time!!!

Undecided
I have been in search of the everyday fall/winter skirt. My first "try on" I was thrilled. The waist was comfortable and the length at my knee was just right. It didn't bow out as I had read in an earlier review. I ordered the huckleberry which was not too bright but subdued. I am 5"3 and petite, I ordered the 4. However, I washed it, and boy was that a mistake! I followed the directions and when it came out, it was wrinkled and no longer lies flat along the front or back. Now, it does bow out in back and the wrinkles look really unflattering. I will try to iron it, but not feeling confident that this will work. Basically, it's a great skirt, just don't wash it!

This is probably one of my favorite skirts of all time! It fits great, very flattering, super soft and comfy material, stays true to shape after wearing all day, washes well--does not shrink. For me, it's the perfect ... wish there were other colors because I would buy them all!

If you like stripes and asymmetrical looks, you will love this ... normally do not spend this much money on skirts (or any clothing items actually!), ... wanted to spend some summer "mad money" on cute things I could wear all summer long. I'm so glad I got this! It's extremely soft and just adorable. As for sizing, it fits true to size. I'm 5'4" and about 115 pounds, and the ... Love this ... I'm 5'3" and 145 pounds so I ordered the large ... because I hate skirts that are too clingy in all the wrong places :) It fits perfectly and skims over areas that I wanted it to skim over. I was scared the stripes wouldn't work for me, ... surprisingly they're fine!

Great feel!
The soft jersey feel of this fabric is thicker and heavier (i.e. – nicer) than I expected, and I love it. The weight of the ... makes it hang perfectly and the angles are flattering. I wish all my skirts felt and looked this good.

One of the best purchases from Athleta yet!
I originally ordered this in a size M. I'm an hourglass, typically S on top, and M on bottom(size 28-29 jeans). I got it, and tried it on, and it fit pretty true to size, ... tiny bit loose. I tend to wear my pants and skirts fitted well so they don't make me appear larger than I am. I tried it as a tube top dress,-VERY cute!-and since I have a smaller ribcage, even though I'm a 32-34 D cup, it was a tiny bit more loose than I am comfortable with. It hit just across my knee. I exchanged it for a small, and it was just a tiny bit extra snug, ... fit well as a tube top, and hit just above my knee (5'4"), and looked extremely cute! The adjustable tie at the waist is nice. The only criticism I have is that the foldover waistband part could have been a tad bit longer just to accomodate us girls with larger busts when wearing as a tube ... All in all- FABULOUS ... very cute, nice material, the stripes add interest, and very flattering overall, which is hard to do sometimes with my curves! Totally worth it!

This is my favorite ... my best find from Athleta. It is very comfortable and flattering. I love the stylish stripes. They don't make me look fat at all. I hesitate sometimes with stripes ... very flattering. I usually wear a 10 in skirts and went with the Med. I was not disappointed. I wish they had it in more colors.

I absolutely love Athleta's skirts and this one is no exception! It is made of very comfortable, loose ... not too loose) fabric that swings with you as you walk or dance. Very comfortable for travel and packs well.

great everyday ...
I wear skirts preferentially rather than pants,and this ... has all the features I prefer: the front is double due to the faux wrap, soft rolled waistband over a tie, great drape, length below the knee. As good with sandals as with boots, with tees as with warmer layers. Great for travel because it won't wrinkle. Athleta is my best source for informal skirts.

Soft and Different
Two things I like in these knit style skirts. Quality fabric so it doesn't stretch out and look cheap and interesting seams or fabric. This has both! I really liked the stripe look and the seaming is flattering so it hangs well. A cool, unique ... hot summers.

I bought this ... because it was very cute and available in tall lengths (I'm 6'), and I prefer to wear skirts in the warm weather. I also have a 6 month baby at home, and the ... long enough that I can get on the floor with him and play without risk of being indecent. I was very happy with how the ... fit when it arrived, and washed it prior to the first wear. The metal cap on the end of the drawstring got stuck on a dryer sheet in the dryer and ended up getting mangled and tore. I called customer service, and they were very kind and offered to exchange it for a new one. I got the new ... today, and washed it. The same thing happened again in the dryer (without a dryer sheet this time)! The metal cap pulled off the end of the drawstring, ... drawstring is so twisted and frayed it is unwearable in its current condition. I'm debating trying to come up with a fix myself, vs. returning the ... good...

I ordered this ... black for comfort and for travel. It was so comfortable that I ordered another in navy blue and would have ordered another if the color were available in ... size. I am 5'3", 117 lbs and the ... Small was a perfect fit -- just above the knee. Would love to see dresses in this fabric as well.

Great summer staple
I bought the Nusa Rollover ... last year and definitely got ... money's worth with wear. This year I decided to try the Bodega ... which looked a little more flirty and less structured. I am extremely pleased with the fit of this ... have a curvy, athletic build. The waist area is cinched and accentuates ... small waistline. The drape of the hips and thigh is very fluid A line. I am 5'6" long legged and short waisted and ordered the ... large. Even with this size choice the ... hit about an inch above the knee. Perfect. In pants I am usually an 8 or 10 regular length and the curvy line of any designer fits me best. I chose white as a summer staple because I get so bored with black and love it's freshness after a winter of dark basics. I often trend towards skirts in the summer. They are so cooling and feminine. ... job allows for a more casual style and most of ... work is in a non air conditioned setting so I'm always on the hunt for styles that marry form and function. Athleta never fails to provide. I will definitely be adding a slip under this ... wear it in a more formal situation. All in all, it is a great summer wardrobe investment.

I am 5'2", 125 lbs and ordered the black in a ... Small. It fits very well, is very flattering and so comfy! I just ordered another one in the submarine blue color. I will wear these skirts when traveling, spending time with ... two little boys (at the park, playing outside), running errands and any time I want to wear something cute and comfortable!

All Around Awesome!
I bought this ... two colors and have been thrilled with both! Comfortable fit and professional enough for work (I work in the public school system). I've worn the skirts multiple times for work, errands, and dinner out. The fabric is soft and has a little stretch ... wider waist band helps keep it flattering for different body sizes and shapes. I normally wear a size 2-4 ... small ... fits perfectly.

perfect ...
This ... perfect in almost every way! I was afraid that the fabric would be stiff and polyester y, like so many other Athleta's fabrics tend to be, especially in the pants. Wrong! It's a wonderful soft drapey fabric with a modal feel. I am 5'4, and like to have ... skirts come down just above the knee, and this one does that in a ... XS fits better as the fabric has some stretch in it. The only thing I don't get is the pocket in the back - not like you could actually put anything there besides something small and flat, like a credit card, because it would pooch out and probably not be too comfortable. ... aside from that, this ... perfect!

I usually don't pay this much for skirts, ... prefer wearing skirts to shorts during the summer, and love the style of this. The fabric was a bit more casual than I was expecting (more like a worn in T shirt), ... holds its shape well and is so soft. As for sizing, I ordered the small ... fits perfectly for ... 5'4", 115-pound frame. The fabric is a bit clingy and does show panty lines (even with a slip underneath), so just be aware of that. Also, I wore a slip under it the first time I wore it to see if that would hide the panty lines, ... fabric is so thick that you don't need one. Love this ... may order another!

I love the Bodega ... now own 2 and hope to reorder more. I am 5'1 and usually wear a size 6 pant. I ordered both the ... medium and the ... small ... kept the small. The medium fit ok around the waist ... rest of the ... seemed like too much fabric and a little too long. The small fits a little snug around my waist ... because it is stretch it feels comfortable. The length is right above ... knee which is perfect for me. I always grab those skirts to put on instead of shorts or capris. It is hard to find skirts like this in ... sizes. Thank you Athleta for carrying petites and hope to see more styles.

Casual and flattering; thanks for XXS
I was thrilled to finally find a white ... summer that fit me. I'm 5 ft 3 inches tall, about 100 lbs, and right in the XXS measurement range in bottoms. I have a boyish figure with very little curvature in the hip, and skirts often drop a few inches on me even if I buy the smallest size. This is a great fit! Do be aware that there is a significant length variation of this ... size - the ... XXS is only about 18 inches long while the regular XXS is about 20 inches long (i.e. the length decreases at least 2 inches from medium to XXS). I ended up returning the ... XXS (which was like a mini ... keeping the regular XXS, which fell a little above the knee on me, or even higher if I wanted to pull the ... up. The shape of the ... very flattering with a flat or a heeled shoe, even on me who often looks matronly and frumpy in skirts despite ... small size. The ruching at the waist is great if you want to add some curves and probably not so great if you want to suppress them. The white ... definitely requires a slip, although this wasn't an issue for me as I have an appropriate one already.

Love this ...
This ... looks very good although I did some creative sizing to get what I wanted. I'm 5'5", 110 lbs and athletic, ... have a smaller waist/larger hip ratio. I have a couple pairs of pants and skirts from Athleta in size 4 regular that are a little snug in the butt/upper thighs yet a little loose in the waist. I ordered the Bodega ... XS as I wanted the ... hit a couple of inches above the knee in order to show the bottom of the quad (which it does). The waist is nice and snug, and the fabric flows out and drapes nicely around ... hips without being clingy, showing saddlebags, or looking like I've got a hoop ... checked the measurements on several other skirts, ... Bodega had the biggest difference in the waist (29.5 inches) to high hip (35.25 inches) of the skirts I checked. I've just ordered two more.

Finally......a store that has skirts in ... XXS ! ! !
I really like the Bogeda ... am thrilled to find skirts in a size that fits me. I am 5' 2" tall and 98 lbs. - my waist is 24" and hips 34" and the ... XXS fits perfectly (which I have in Purple Ash - very pretty color). I am disappointed that the Sangria color does not come in XXS ... had to order the XS ... little loose in the waist, ... am keeping it anyway because I love the color. The material is very nice and the length is perfect, just above my knees. I am not too fond of the hidden pocket in the back because the zipper sticks out a little.

Great ... I''m a bigger fan of the Aurora!
When I made ... first order of skirts from Athleta, I ordered the Aurora, the Bodega and the Nusa Roll Over. I really thought that the Bodega would be ... favorite, ... ended up that I preferred the Aurora. The reason is (and I'm probably silly) it took me several try ons to figure out which way the Bodega was supposed to fit! In other words, I had a hard time telling the front from the back or the sides. So I decided to send it back and get another Aurora. ... please don't get me wrong, I debated over it for days because the Bodega is a great ... just have a preference for the Aurora. I think some of it has to do with the pleats/gathers on the front of the Bodega too. ... mid section is ... problem area and I felt like it added bulk where I least needed it. The sizing and length were just as described, and I love that it's available in ... I'm 5'0" and weigh more than I want to right now (about 140) and the L was perfect! I'm just a little worried because I'm trying to lose weight and I'm afraid that 5 more pounds and it will be a little big. Guess if I get there, I'll just order more in M!

I love love love this ... am petite 4' 11", weigh 108 pounds and a "C" cup. I ordered a 2 petite. It fits perfect! I like that I don't have to wear a bra. There is plenty of support. I have the black color and just ordered another in the purple. My husband really likes the ... word he used was "Sexy". He usually never really comments on my clothes. You can ... up with heels or go causal with sandals. It was the perfect crusing ... packed well with no wrinkles. The ... falls right above the knee. Petite is acutally petite. No hemming required. You must give this ... try!

Because I am 5' tall and weigh 115lbs, it is extremely hard to find a ... fits me length wise,I was kind of worried about ordering a ... line but after reading some of the reviews I figued what the heck and I ordered this ... small petite. Super Cute LBD
Ordered this ... xs and it fits perfectly. I am a ... 5' size 2 and although I will keep this ... wear it often I would have loved it even more if it were an inch shorter. I love the supportive cups that are built into the bodice. As someone with a small 34A bust I always wears a padded bra. I typically avoid halter dresses because they don't fit properly in the bust. Not the case with this ... zipper pocket was an excellent addition to this ... Now I can stow my ID and money for a night on the town without any worries. The material looks like it will pack well so this ... definately going in my suitcase for Key West.

Great cut and design; tight in rib cage
Maybe it was because I ordered a ... vs. regular size, but I found this ... really tight around the rib cage right under the bust. I ordered a 4P and returned it for a 6P and they're practically the same, so if you're undecided I'd say go with the larger size. Fits fine in bust but really right around the ribs. It quickly flares out from sort of an empire waist so looks great around the midsection - flattering to the tummy and hips and hides a small muffintop well. The rest of it is great - super comfy material, great design, seems like it could be wet/dry and look just as good. Plan to use it as a travel ... beach/pool daytime wear or (for the black) casual nighttime wear. I'm a shade under 5'3" and the ... length was perfect - slightly above knee how I like. I recommend it over some of the swim and other dresses because it's a much lighter weight material and less binding throughout.

Too long for ...
I love this ... looks great on and fits better than I expected. However, I ordered a ... because at 5'4" many dresses I order online are too long. I was surprised when I tried this ... went to mid knee. I expected a ... run shorter - at least the top of the knee. I thought about returning it but have decided to have it hemmed instead. It's great to wear after the beach or when running errands. I must admit that I feel more comfortable wearing a strapless bra with this ... than nothing at all.

Really cute but beware of squash factor if you are busty...
I got this in black in an 8 petite (it's still a little long and I'm on the tall side for a petite) The bottom part fits perfectly and is extremely flattering skims over lower half, does not show lumps and bumps. Top section is a different story. My 36 DDs are squished and definitely not covered as much as I would like. Major cleavage but not in a good way. I struggle with being a 6 on my lower body and a 10 on the top tough to find a ... fits both. I did order it in 2 more colors because of the light weight and quick dry fabric. Great for when I'm out on the boat and don't want to wear a bathing suit and cover up. I would have given 4 stars if the halter fit better and the length was more in line with a petite. Still, very cute super casual ...

Perfect ...
I was very pleased when I tried on this ... length was just right for my 5'3'' frame. Why aren't there more dresses in ... sizes?! The elastic at the back doesn't seem necessary for me, but I suppose that if you had a larger chest, it would help to accommodate that and would still look nice. This ... hugs the body but maintains a degree of modesty at the same time. Perfect for many occasions!

casual for hot days
Great colors - olive (cargo) and the purple (petunia pop) - and good quality thin cool lightweight synthetic material. The removable pads are very thin (but this ... would look much better on me if the pads - or my chest:) - were more substantial . . . it also would look more proportioned on me as the ... flares in an A line over my bottom). Normally, I am a 2P (sometimes a size 0) and ordered the XS ... Even though I'm up a few pounds right now, I wouldn't expect my tummy and upper hips to show as much as it does in this ... Also, after three babies, my lower rib cage prominence shows a bit in this ... empire waist band. If you don't mind a tendency for middle aged abdominal imperfections to show (I'm 52 and work out) or the tendency for these dresses to wrinkle, this ... worth a try if you need an easy casual sporty ... hot summer days. Many of the summer "athletic" ... styles available are not as classy as this one. But consider ordering a size up if you are trying to hide any bulges.

I love this ... because it comes in size zero!! I'm very petite, and usually I have a hard time finding dresses because everything is too big. This ... very flattering on my small frame. I originally got it in a pattern, and I liked it so much I went back and purchased it in solid black!! I think the black ... sophisticated enough that a young woman could wear the ... causal outdoor wedding if she ... up with the right jewelry and shoes. The material makes it look more dressy and less casual. The pocket, however, makes it casual. The pocket is the perfect size for holding an ID card, but the material is thin, so I think that putting an ID card in it would be noticable, but I have yet to try using the pocket. I think I might cut off the pocket's zipper pull thing to make the pocket less noticable, since I don't really plan on using the pocket. Aside from the pocket, the ... great!!! I'm really gald I purchased it. My only other complaint is that the length is knee length...mid knee cap, which is a strange length. (I'm 5' 2) I would perfer that it be 2 inches shorter or longer. The solid color ... has contrast stitching along the base, so getting it hemmed isn't an option, unless you have a good seamstress who can match the contrast stitching. Aside from ordering it in size 0 regular, I also ordered it in size petite 2, which was indeed 2-3 inches shorter (the perfect length!!) than size 0 regular, but the rest of the ... too big then. I wish altheta made size 0 petite, in addition to 0 regular. My logic is, if you are a size 0, you are probably petite and short, right???!!

Very cute ...
This is a very attractive ... kinda low cut so if you don't want to draw attention to your chest, you might not like it. I'm only a 34 B but it still made my chest look very nice. One thing that isn't obvious in the photos is that there is a stretchy inset on the back of the ... isn't unattractive but it does make it a little more casual. The fabric is light but durable. It's also pretty much sweat mark proof. I got the blue and it is very pretty. I am 5'6", 130 pounds, athletic build and ordered a 6 ... never order Petites but the Regular seemed too long for the look I was wanting. The ... perfect. It hits about 4 inches above my knee. This ... zips up the side and is very snug through the ribcage. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because it takes quite a bit of adjusting the neck ties and the cup pads to get a good fit. I was happy that once I got it fitting correctly, there was no gappage when I leaned over (which I often get since I'm small chested.) I am very happy with my purchase.

Perfect all around ...
I am so glad I decided to splurge on this ... am a laid back casual person but I love to wear dresses and skirts. This ... fits my personality perfectly and it is easy to wear. I like the way it looks with tights and boots and I like being able to throw it in the washer and dryer. The medium tall fit is perfect for me 5'9, 140lbs and the ... blue color is great for fall.

Fall Fave (so far)
I am kind of addicted to Athleta dresses and this one, so far is my fave for the autumn batch. I am 5'5", 128 pounds, 34D. I got the blue in a small regular and the purple in a small ... regular hits just at the top of my kneee. The ... looks more like the model in the pic. I kept both! The longer one is probably better for work, church, etc...But both are just so versatile and I LOVE THAT! Around the house, around town...with boots, with flats...with/without jewelry! The fabric is also awesome...comfy and sexy...I don't know if I should sleep in it or go out to dinner in it! Maybe both :)!

Finally someone is making clothes that fit my lifestyle. I can go from yoga, to work, out to dinner! I like trying on clothes before I buy them because I am tall but not big. This size can be hard to fit. Love that Athleta's dresses are long enough for me! Thanks for opening the Mill Valley store!

Beautifully soft fabric, comfy, cozy style and pretty colour!
I liked this ... so much I got one in the Meteor Grey as well. I'm 5'4", 34DD and have curves. I was a little scared to purchase a t shirt style ... because of said curves, but needn't have been scared! The soft material of this ... doesn't cling and feels just so comfortable. I've worn the Aubergine colour with my tall black OTBT boots and the grey with my tan Uggs. The regular length hits my knees, isn't short like on the model. The sleeves are long, but I like that. I might try the ... next colour, even though my sister says I have enough of these dresses. They're just so pretty and comfortable! Plus I get lots of compliments when I wear them! Yay! Def purchase if you're even contemplating :)

Cute ... but size didn''t work for me
I followed the advice of another reviewer and bought an XS ... -- and found that it was too small. (I normally wear a S ... all Athleta dresses: 5'2", 32x27x37.) By the time I tried to make an exchange, they were sold out so I opted for the Reg Small. Unfortunately, it's too big in general on me -- so I'll have to return it. Bummer ... Overall, I'd highly recommend it -- just be sure to follow the sizing chart and don't go a size smaller.

Medium black. all my other dresses are Small (couple XS). the small was a tad long in hem (hit above knees) and sleeves. the Pet Med however has longer sleeves but the hem is a good length, couple inches above knees. i love the material and it's not huggy. it's perfect for fall and i got knee boots to wear with it too. the pockets are handy (a big reason i chose the ... throw in keys and loose bill change while shopping. great errand ... lunch, whatever! i will be wearing them all the time. i'm hoping the Small will come back in stock so i can buy another one. not sure why they needed to put ruching on the back but not a deal breaker.

I sized down - love it
I ordered the blue color in one size down and am pleased. I have found I generally need to size down in Athleta dresses with this kind of cut. Contrary to what another reviewer suggested, I don't think you need to be "shaped like an ironing board" to wear this ... can we stop hating on other women's bodies please?). True, it isn't fitted at the waist, but I think it hugs the chest and rear nicely while still leaving something to the imagination. It will also accommodate a larger chest; I am a 34DD and can comfortably wear the XXS. Unfortunately, if your regular size is XXS, I think it will be too loose for you.

LOVE this ...
I really loved this ... material was so soft, the color beautiful. It just was longer than the other dresses I have bought from Athleta (I have 6 and love every one). Since I am only 5'3", this ... hit me below the knee, which is not as flattering on my shorter legs. I wanted to exchange it for ... but it is out of stock. Bummer. Now, I wait for it to come back in and keep thinking of perfect occasions to wear it!

Nice Enough.
I like this ... but it is not my favorite Athleta ... quality (and price) is high with soft, thick fabric and a nice length in the sleeves and ... comfortable, functional and a very nice shade of light navy. The top, sleeves, and hip area are slightly fitted. The middle, however, is a floppy, loose wasteland of extra fabric. This might be less noticeable on a girl with no waist or shaped like an ironing board. Still, I will keep it because attractive fall dresses are hard to come by.

no luck with this or other dresses lately
I bought this in xxsp ... xsp ... thought it was the right size but it hung in an unflattering way. I thought the pockets made it a bit too casual for work and were too girly for grownups.After buying a bunch of dresses lately from Athleta, I have had trouble finding one that fits in a flattering way and that i like. I wonder what is up.

This ... fits me perfectly!! I ordered a regular medium. I have worn it out to dinner with my husband and church, and even doing errands. It is very form fitting so it is very flattering, but not too tight. Looks good with boots, and with tights, leggings and flats. I have the short sleeve version of this dess as well, and it just is so flattering with the v neck, and is soooooo comfortable. You can afford to have a bloated day, but still look great. Some of the dresses from Athleta make you look like you are wearing maternity wear from the side view. This is not one of those dresses!! 5'9" 145 lbs.

I ordered this dess in a ... m and it was perfect.I am 5'1" and 130lbs. Dresses are usually too long for me even in ... but I would recommend this one.

Great ...
Great ... usually have to buy ... but after reading some reviews(some said ... too short) and doing some comparisons with the length of other ... Athleta dresses (some are 36in which is the same as the Reg in the Señorita ... went with the Med Regular and it hits just above my knee and fits great! I purchased the oatmeal heather and thinking of getting it in another color!

LOVE these dresses
This is my second one of these dresses- I LOVE them! I ordered a medium so it would shrink some (I’m 5’ 7” normally about 118lbs but currently 5 months pregnant and 133), but could have worn a small also. The color (lighter blue) is gorgeous. These dresses are great with boots or flats; I always get comments from people. My previous one has held up great, so I’m hoping the same for this one too!

Comfortable, simple yet stylish
I love these Senorita dresses. I have three long sleeve in black, blue, and purple (I also have three in the sleeveless version too!). I usually don't wear dresses because I don't find dresses to be very comfortable or practical, but this ... VERY comfortable, very simple but also very stylish and flattering. The material is substantial (not flimsy) but also stretchy. It is a body hugging ... wear Spanx underneath so my panty lines don't show) so you have to feel fairly comfortable with the shape of your body, but since it has long sleeves and covers most of the thigh, it also covers a lot too. I'm 5' 2", 120 lbs, runner with muscular butt and legs, small chest, and the XS fits me perfectly.

Great ...
I wrote a review for the sleeveless one in indigo so my review might be somewhat similar. I decided to get Ivy in long sleeves because during the holidays, I seem to lack anything in red or green. The ivy is a pretty color. This ... form fitting. I am 5'4"/116-lb and got size XS which fits perfectly. I might have written the sleeveless ... "long" but these dresses fall to the knees so just so you are aware, it is not a short ... like some of the others that come 2 inches above the knees. It is great for me, as I have enough shorter dresses.

Wow, a perfectly comfortable, flattering ... petites!
Bought this in ... my 5"4' daughter to wear to school. It fits her PERFECTLY. Adorable over leggings or with boots.... The V is not too low, which is unusual these days. We bought the blue and I'm thinking of getting one for myself!

Amazing ...
I own this ... long sleeved and the sleeveless version. The Tall lengths are spectacular. I'm grateful that athleta offers most dresses in Tall as I often can't find simple dresses that are long enough for me to wear to work (I am 5'11"). The purple color is a nice "neutral" and a good base for many outfits. Wish they had this in red!

first order
I received my very first order of Atheleta items last week. Fortunately I ordered the same ... two different colors (didn't know which would look best). After trying on both, I realized that the two dresses fit totally differently even though they were the same ... One of the dresses was much shorter in length and much slimmer through the hip - it seemed to be one size smaller. Unfortunately the berry ... color I wanted to keep and that was the smaller one. I called customer service the same day and he was very helpful. He offered to send me a replacement and was so nice to even give me a little discount for my troubles. I just received the replacement ... fits perfectly! Thank you Athleta for making my first experience with your product a good one.

I ordered two ... dresses and they each fit completely differently. This ... small was just too small all over, so I will get the regular size instead. I can't wait for it to come in, as I just love this ...

I was really excited to try this ... seemed from the reviews to be very flattering on smaller busts, and I'm always looking for a nice quality ... wear during the cooler months. I ordered this ... two different colors, both in a Regular XS, which is my normal size and what I wear 98% of the time. (For reference, I'm 5'4", 110, 34 less than-A; I'm that in between height where sometimes I can wear petites, but sometimes they're too short.) Both dresses fit in a similar way, so at least the quality control is consistent. However, the arms were too long and baggy, the upper torso was too tight across (from shoulder to shoulder), the waist was too big, and the ... stiff and overly flared out from the too big waist. I was really sad to see that all of these things combined made the ... look really frumpy on me. The only part that was actually flattering was the rouched bust, which fit perfectly, with the empire waistband hitting just below. One upside is the fabric -- a smooth, thick, stretchy cotton jersey, very nice quality. Maybe the ... XS would have fit me better; I don't know. I didn't sufficiently like how this style looked on me to warrant exchanging for a different size, though, so I just returned both dresses.
