So Cute!
I love this ... am 5'3"and 110 lbs. My bust is 34A. I ordered the Petite S. The fit is a little loose, but I like it that way. I ordered the green color and it is beautiful! The built in bra is perfect and gives me some shape since I need help in that department. I even tried this ... belt and it made it more shapely and looked a little more ... up. I think I will be able to wear this ... casually or more ... up. I would also consider buying this ... black in Petite XS for a tighter, sexier look. Alas, this size and color is sold out.

Love this ...
This was my first order from Athleta - I ordered 4 dresses and the kokomo in a couple of sizes - small petite and small. The small was perfect and the petite was just a little off. The length is perfect (I'm short - 5' 1) and I love the built in bra! The fabric seems like it will hold up well to washing, etc ... I had forgotten that it was like swimming suit material but it will be great in hot weather! Love this ...

Great Little ...
I love Athleta dresses and this one did not disappoint! I am 5'2", 108lbs and a 32A bra size. I bought the XS and it fits well. Being very small up top I appreciate the extra help of the built in bra. Also, the length is good for my ... frame and in fact, is on the short side so I may not wear it to work but it's a great length for going anywhere else. It's also very comfortable. Very happy with it!

so flattering
My sister in law has this ... looks great on her. I thought she was wearing a strapless bra with it, but found out it has the cups already in the ... immediately ordered it, and it's so flattering, and perfect coverage for A B cup, as well as the days I don't want to hold in my stomach! Length worked well for me (I'm 5'4") in both regular and petite, but ended up with petite medium for a looser fit (126#) and slightly shorter length to wear around the pool while the kids are swimming and I'm not getting in the pool. I plan to ... up as well, so that's why I got it in black. Great ... Forgiving, not frumpy.

Love it!!
I bought this ... something comfortable to wear on vacation in Hawaii, and I can't wait to wear it!! I am 5'2", 113 lbs, and 34C chest. I originally ordered the XS Petite and it was way too tight all over. I exchanged it for the Small Petite and it fits perfect! So happy I found this ... built in support is great and I love how you can change the strapes for different support and look.

Love this ...
I absolutely love this ... so comfortable and I love the fact that I can wear it without a bra. The support in the ... perfect. I am a 38C and the support is great. Super comfortable. The only thing I wish was that it came in a ... length. It hits right above the knee, and I prefer my summer dresses to be maybe 2 inches above the knee, but it still looks great. The material is very soft and flowy and not constricting at all. I ordered at Medium (I'm 5'5" 135lb), and this fits great! I want to wear it every day! I might have to get it in another color!

Cute ...
I bought this in tall as I thought it might be too short. I also bought a petite. I am round, 5'2" with a belly. The ... actually proportioned. The tall was not just longer but had a long torso...so the petite fit me perfectly. It clings a little to my belly but I have a month of dieting before I wear it on vacation. Cute color. Will be easy to pack because it doesn't wrinkle. I am looking forward to wearing it out during the day for sightseeing where we may end up at a beach and therefore I'll be prepared. I also think I could wear it out to dinner at night

the pros outweigh the cons
This ... incredibly flattering with great support but be forewarned, some of the colors are ghastly. I tried the green and purple and felt that both were just too loud, especially when combined with the fact that the swimsuit fabric is somewhat shiny. The dark blue was brighter than I expected but manageable. I may order the black as well, as if I need another black ... but as i said it is SO flattering! Runs on the large side, and you'll need the petite if you like a shorter length for casual wear as I do -- 5'5", 135#, 36C and I went with the petite S.

Great ... - Beach wedding
I purchased the blue bling for a beach wedding and receivd many compliments. The back is great, you can change to criss cross or straight. Some people complained about the material but I loved it - no ironing!! The only complaint is it was too long and I had to have it hemmed. The ... hit at an unflattering length. I am 5' 3" and would have ordered a petite if offered. Athleta needs to offer more petite :)

Steer clear if you have no curves
Because I loved the look of this ... model in the pic (I know, right?) I had high expectations. I am 5' 4", 125 lbs., 34A/B, athletic, with very little curves. I bought the Petite Small. It flattened my chest on top, so my small belly pooch was very prominent. I am on the border of petite and reg lengths, and I felt the petite was too short. It's a nice ... just not for me.

I love this ... but unfortunately it didn't fit. I am 5'4'', 120 pounds, and usually wear a 32DD bra. The ... did not provide enough coverage on the sides. I am sending the petite small back and have ordered the ... petite medium. Hopefully that one will fit. Customer Service was the best when I called to return.

Great little travel ...
I purchased this ... marked down before a trip to the Caribbean and found it to be versatile and travel friendly. It is definitely on the casual side, which is perfect for the beach, poolside, running around town or non fine dining. The cut is flattering, and being ... (5'2", 110 lbs, barely a 34B), the XS was a good fit and I didn't need to wear a bra with it; the built in support worked for me, but I could see how it wouldn't be enough for anyone larger than a B cup. The length was great and hit above the knee, which I have a hard time finding because "standard" size dresses can either end being way too short and hoochie, or awkwardly long for a short person, making me look Amish. Overall great ... would recommend it.

Fabulous and very flattering!!!!
This is the best ... have ever put on in my life! I ordered the black last summer for a trip to Mexico. Though I brought other dresses on the trip, I wore this more than once on this vacation. The ... super flattering! I have a very structured upper body and am muscular through the arms, shoulders and back. This ... really flatters that area. I loved it so much that I bought the blue and the periwinkle. Will probably live in these dresses this summer. The ... so versatile that you can wear it with a pair of flip flops casually or you can put on a pair of heeled sandals and wear it out to dinner. Best purchase I have ever made!

Wonderful, flattering ...
I was looking for a couple 'wear everywhere' dresses and found a couple that I liked on athleta's site that I thought would do the trick. After reading the 'meh' reviews, I decided that despite what I thought of the pictures I would just pick the highest rated dresses, and I am very happy I did. I am 5'7 36 C, and a 40 hip and a medium fit very well. The length ends just above my knees. The material is stretchy so you never feel constricted. The chest fits well, but is a little snug if you are wearing a push up. I ordered it in Chocolate, the subtle color could be worn to the beach, while being appropriate for errands, and could even be ... up for a nice dinner. This is my new favorite ...

The perfect ...
I am 5'10" 165lbs and have found ... shopping to be about as stressful as jean shopping because of the way many dresses are cut. I bought this ... before and fell in love it and recently bought another one in solid black. Not only is this ... incredibly comfortable (it moves with you) it can be ... up or down and the material is great in hot weather climates because it is thin (but durable) and it's breathable. Not to mention it has a crazy slimming effect! I bought them in tall and the cut is perfect for my height and shape. I have other dresses from Athleta but this one is my favorite.

Love the ...
I was skeptical about ordering this ... (black and falcon) even though the majority of the reviews were positive. I am an active person and am curvy on the bottom (hips and booty). I was happily surprised when I put the ... 1)was incredibly comfortable and 2)it made me look smaller on the bottom because of the slight A line shape. I am 5'2", 129 lbs, and a 34C. The 6 ... fit me just fine. Looking forward to wearing the dresses the rest of the summer!!

Great ... very flattering
I am super happy with this ... soon as it arrived and I tried it on, I immediately went online and ordered another one in a different color. I am 5'2 110lbs, small chest but curvy rear and usually wear a 2P in dresses but since that size was out, I went with the Reg 0. It fits just about perfectly! It's slightly tight in the bodice, just under the bra, but not uncomfortably tight, more just "okay don't gain any weight around your ribcage" kind of tight ;) The length is great for my tastes, hits right at the knee, although again, I'm a ... height wearing a regular length, so for others it might hit above the knee. I bought the Bali Blue which is a beautiful, bright, and happy shade of almost a dark turquoise. The other color is Shale which is a nice chocolatey brown. I'm really looking forward to wearing them both this summer! If your size is available, this ... definitely worth checking out.

Why did I listen to the Petites?
I ordered this ... take on vacation and I took the advice of several people here and got it in a 4P as I was hoping it wouldn't be frumpy long. I'm 5'6' (barely) and in shape, but at 44 I haven't worn dresses several inches above my knees for a quite a few years. (Granted living in the Bay Area, it's seldom warm enough to wear dresses, period.) So now I'm not sure I will keep this as I feel like mutton ... lamb. I'll have to see what the man says--he'll probably like it; I'll probably be worried about a backdraft. Also, I was expecting it would be versatile and could be dresseed up and worn out to dinner; the stitching makes it very cute for daytime, but it can't quite pull off heels and a pashmina for night, maybe the length would've fixed that.

Solid black not necessarily a "Pack Anywhere" ...
I have purchased THREE pack anywhere dresses. First was a print - so comfy with the stretchy, light weight material! No need for a bra! Between the comfort of the ... receiving so many compliments and inquiries as to where I had purchased, I had to get another. So... I bought two additonal. Unfortunately, the second print I purchased has to be returned due to an inconsistency in the cut of the ... - chest gaped and front seams fluted straight out! I love the Black Solid - can be ... down with flops, or ... up with wedges! Fit consistent with first ... am keeping the Black Solid, but one word of caution...this is not necessarily a true "Pack Anywhere" ... solid does show wrinkles!!! Also - I took the advice of other reviewers, and purchased in ... although I am 5'7". The length in the ... perfect - I am certain regular would have been too long and not nearly as flattering.

casual for hot days
Great colors - olive (cargo) and the purple (petunia pop) - and good quality thin cool lightweight synthetic material. The removable pads are very thin (but this ... would look much better on me if the pads - or my chest:) - were more substantial . . . it also would look more proportioned on me as the ... flares in an A line over my bottom). Normally, I am a 2P (sometimes a size 0) and ordered the XS ... Even though I'm up a few pounds right now, I wouldn't expect my tummy and upper hips to show as much as it does in this ... Also, after three babies, my lower rib cage prominence shows a bit in this ... empire waist band. If you don't mind a tendency for middle aged abdominal imperfections to show (I'm 52 and work out) or the tendency for these dresses to wrinkle, this ... worth a try if you need an easy casual sporty ... hot summer days. Many of the summer "athletic" ... styles available are not as classy as this one. But consider ordering a size up if you are trying to hide any bulges.

Didn''t work for me
I was looking for travel dresses, and this ... seemed perfect for a "throw on", easy packing, ... ordered the ... small and ... medium. Both were too tight. The top of the ... (halter) just didn't fit right. I also didn't like the fabric; felt like a beach cover up. Didn't work for me so I am returning both.

Flattering, fun skirt
I am 5' 8'', so I originally ordered the regular length, wanting it to hit my leg right above the knee, like it does on the display models. It may have been how I was wearing it (I like to wear skirts lower on my hips), but the regular length was right at and a little below my knees. I returned it for the ... length and the length was perfect and not TOO short to be conservative. The skirt fits well in the hips and is even flattering in the back! The bottom flares a bit for a fun look. I love it in plum and will buy more in other colors.

Fun skirts for just about everything!
I have four of the Whenever cord skirts and just ordered another color! They have been my go to "errand running", "shopping, and "casual days about town" skirts this Fall and Winter. They pair wonderfully with tights and boots and can be ... up or down with a long sleeve t shirt or a dressy sweater. I receive compliments on them wherever I go. Although I am ... 5'2", I went with with an 8 regular as I am a little modest about my skirt lengths, and they hit just slightly above the knee; I really love the little flare at the hem. I probably could have gone with a 6 as the waist was just slightly big. I really love this skirt and highly recommend it!

Great Skirt
Love this skirt! Great with a pair of tights, boots, and a sweater. I ordered a 2 ... should have ordered a 0 ... length is great. I'm 5'4" 108 lbs and the 2 is a little big, but because of the drawstring is wearable without looking too big.

Runs big in the waist
I have this skirt in the lighter weight materials in both an 8 ... 10 ... Ordered in the 10 ... found it to run much larger than expected. Have ordered the eight and will see. I hope it works because it seems like a great piece to pair with tights and boots. Nice bit of stretch and fun colors.

Love this skirt but athleta needs to get size 0 in ...
I love, love this skirt! I would get one in every color if they had anymore in stock. Problem is that to get the smallest waist size I have to go to non ... then hem them myself since I am ... should have size 0 in ... sizes too. 103 lbs. 5' even.

Get the ...
I am 5'6" and weigh 145 lbs. I am always a size 10 regular or a medium in Athleta clothing. I ordered this skirt in a 10 and it was too big in the waist yet too tight at the hips and a bit too long to look cute. It just looked funny. So I returned it and bought it in size 10 ... ( I am NEVER a ... 10 ... fits perfectly! It comes to just above the knee (like in the photo) and fits well in the waist and the hips. The models in this catalogue must be really tall. I think this style would look best on someone with relatively straight hips; it doesn't fit quite as flattering as the Whatever skort, but it is still cute in its own right and I am keeping it.

length not as reported
I just received my Whenever Cord skirt in the mail today. I ordered a size 2 ... correct size; I am about a 27" waist and 34" hips. The corduroy is a nice, soft cotton, and I love the waistband, which is lined with a pretty floral fabric. The problem, however, is the length. It works, but I was expecting -- per the site info -- the skirt to be several inches longer, which I think I would prefer. I measured the length myself, and it is 16 and 1/4 inches long, not the 19" indicated on the site. This has happened over and over again; I don't understand how/why there can be such a discrepancy between the reported and the actual length. I do really like the skirt otherwise, and the length, as I said, will work, but I had been hoping for something a little longer. Given the overall style of the skirt, I think it would look better longer -- more like a long skirt instead of tutu . . . and I hate to say it, but that's sort of what it reminds me of.

Huge waist....
I've seen a couple other reviews that say the waist was too big...I have the same experience. I am pear shaped, 5'3", about 115lbs and usually wear a size 2p, 2 or 4p in Athleta items - it just depends on the cut, length, etc. I own two of the whatever skorts in a 2p and they fit wonderfully and are very comfortable. I ordered this skirt in a 2 regular because I wanted it a little longer than the skort...the length wasn't right so I definitely will go for ... terms of length...but the hip/seat to waist ratio was way off on my frame. The waist area was HUGE but then the seat/hip was borderline snug. It looked really strange...and felt rather uncomfortable. I'm debating ordering a 2p and 4p to see if one of those will fit better but with such a variance between waist and hip, I'm not sure if it is even worth trying...

Vanity sizing is ridiculous, cord is cheap and stiff.
At 5', 105, and not curvy, I definitely qualify as ... summer, when I wanted to buy a Wherever Skort (the lighter, non ribbed version of this skirt), the size 2P was out in the color I wanted, so being impatient, I bought the regular zero. It was a little long, and a little loose around the waist, but otherwise ok. And I loved it! So when the weather cooled off, I decided to order the Whenever for fall. This time, I got what I thought would be the "perfect" size-- the 2P. It really isn't any shorter than the 0R, but the waist is HUGE! I could stick an entire fist between my stomach and the waistband! I could practically pull it off my hips while it was still buttoned! How can a size 2 be so large? And for that matter, in a clothing line geared toward active women, why isn't there a 0P? Gap has an entire range of 0 clothes, so why doesn't it's subsidiary? Next issue: fabric quality. I would have just exchanged it for a 0R, but the coduroy was thin and stiff and picked up every single dust mote floating in the air. Considering the price and style, I would have expected a less stiff fabric that actually moved when I moved. Guess I'll just have to wait for warm weather again and stick with the "Wherever." The discrepancy in quality is a bummer.

Whenever Cord Skirt
I was very excited about buying this skirt as it was going to be my "go to" outfit for weekends instead of jeans. I read the reviews and should have listened. I am 5'6" and wear a 6 or 8 depending on the brand. I bought the 8 and it is too big and too long. It is not huge but it won't work so order a size down. I would recommend ordering the ... size to get the right length because at 21" it comes to the top of my knee and to make this look right it should be shorter. It is really cute and I love the style but the proportions are just off.

Too Long Too Big
I don't know when they are ever going to make ... clothes in size zero, but until they do, I guess I'll have to purchase skirts elsewhere. Size 2 skirts are too big for ... frames. I was hoping I would be able to fit into this skirt, but alas too big. The skirt is too long and the waist is huge. Even a draw string couldn't help.

Love it!
This ... exceeded my expectations. It is cute, great with my fuzzy uggs. I am 5'6"' 150lbs muscular & curvy with a smaller waist. I like my skirts mid thigh, definitely not to the knees nor below. I ordered a 10 ... fits great, I use a belt to tighten up the slightly loose waist. It does ride up as others said, but its ok. I have only worn it with tights, maybe it won't ride up as much without, but it is velvet, so seems more appropriate for cool weather, and that means tights!

Dressy ...
I have several Athleta skirts and this is the one I go to for dressy occassions. I am 5'8" and 150 lbs, waist 31, hips 39, inseam 33. The 8 ... perfect. Yes .. 8P. I like skirts to be ~2 inches above the knee and the 8R hit my at the top of my knee. I have khakina which is a pretty gold khaki. I have a friend who has grey color and it's a beautiful grey (She is 5'9" 128 lbs and has the 4P). The material is very soft.

Just right for winter
This ... just right for winter wear - substantial, but soft, fabric and looks great with tights and boots. I'm 5-5, 125 and ordered a 4. The waist was a bit loose, but the ... has an internal drawstring which can be used to adjust the waist to just the right size without detracting from the overall fit. The ... fits smoothly, but not tightly, over the hips. Worn somewhat below the natural waist,the ... extends right to the top of the knees. The olive is a dark olive, almost a grey brown, and goes well with a variety of tops. I particularly like skirts with pockets so I can stuff a few things in the pockets and leave a purse at home. The ... has two in the front and in the rear. I haven't yet decided whether I'll take this ... longer travels because it doesn't pack as small as some of my other skirts and just a teeny bit too informal for ultimate versatility. However, it has already become a favorite for wear at home.

Love the skirt
I love this skirt. Fabric feels great and it hangs great on me. Based on the description, I purchased a ... so that it would be shorter. I'm 5'8", but I wanted the ... end above my knee. The ... works great.

Soft and Comfy
I don't wear skirts unless they're A LIne. I have a small waist and big rear- I wear a size 14 to fit around by rear. Well I got this ... surprisingly I LOVE IT. I got it in purple and pair it with thick tights and boots. Since it's big in the waist, I have a big chunky belt I use. Yes, there is a drawstring inside, but I find that it bulges if I tie it off. Soft, easy to wash. Husband loves that it hugs my curves and is shorter than I usually pick out!

Great for Day or Night
This skirt is great for day or night. You can ... up or down. I am 5' and the ... fits great. I ordered a couple Athleta ... skirts this season and was going to return the ones I didn't like.....I kept them all! Thanks Athleta!

Great Quality and Very Cute!
I'm 5'2", 125 lbs and ordered the 4 regular. The length hits me right above my knees. If it were any longer, I think it would look awkward and I'd want to go with ... (they just didn't have ... my size). The 4 fits me, but is on the verge of being just a little snug. I love this skirt and the velvety fabric and was so excited to see the brown come in in my size (it was out when I bought it the first time in "ice"), I'm ordering the brown and think I will keep both!

This is a fabulous ... fall and winter. Like so many other reviewers, I found that one was not enough. I am 48 and don't want to waer skirts that look like I have raided my daughter's wardrobe, but I don't want grandma clothes, either. (Apologies to the active grandmas out there!) This ... perfect. I am 5'6" and 120# w/ a 27" waist, and the size 4 fits well.

Super cute ...
I hesitated to order this ... based on some of the reviews about strange fit - so glad I went ahead and tried it! I am 5'9" and 130 lbs and the 4 tall fits perfectly. I don't think I would need to use the drawstring at the waist. The waist is a bit narrow ... fits perfectly just as is. There are two buttons at the waist so you don't have to use the drawstring if you don't want to. Love the straight fit and that this ... long enough! So hard to find cute skirts like this that are the right length. I just wish they made the deep purple color in tall. I ordered the olive - nice neutral, a bit more brown than green - I like this ... enough to order a second in another color.

Velvet ... olive
I originally ordered this ... 0 as I wear 0 in all pants from Athleta. The ... way too tight. I revisited this ... sale and ordered a 2 and 4 to have the comparison and in case the 2 was still too small. When the skirts came I opened the 2 and it looked kind of big. I compared them with the 4 and there was basically no difference in the hip or waist width. The 2 was a tiny little bit shorter than the 4. I checked if maybe a 4 was put into the bag of the size 2 ... but the labels clearly said 2 and 4. Kind of strange. With this said, the 2 feels a little bit bigger than I would have thought the 2 would have to fit, but it is wearable. Could be a little bit tighter in the waist. Tried using the inside tie, but that just tightens up the string, but leaves the waistband wide which then leaves a gap between the ... your body. I wear it a little bit lower so that the waistband sits at my pelvisbone which gives me the length being right above my knee, so it's office appropraite. Wore it with microfiber tights and the ... rides up which is really annoying. Tried with a more silky material pantyhose and it is much better, but still rides up when walking fast (which I usually do). Guess I will wear a slip with it as this solves the problem completely. Would have been nice if the ... had a lining to begin with. I kept the ... despite the sizing and other issues, because I really wanted this color (it works with wardrobe pieces I have) and I got it on sale. It is a neutral piece for your wardrobe that can be worn from late summer throughout winter into spring.

This is the third Bodega ... have purchased from Athleta. I wear the other two all the time! I must say that this new one seems a little bit smaller than the other two in the overall sizing (when I hold one up to the other), ... still fits fine due to its fabulous stretch and construction. It could also be that there has been slight stretch since I've worn the heck out of the older two. I am 5'5" and weigh 110 lbs, and the ... xs is perfect. I took one of these skirts along on a 6 week trip to Thailand and Cambodia and it was invaluable. I could pull it down to sit on my hips and cover my knees when we went to sacred sites or pull it up for an above the knee length. The waistband style holds your tummy in, making it quite flattering. It also machine washes and dries like a dream..you can even throw it in a low temp dryer without shrinkage. The hidden pocket in the waist is a great place to stash a key while walking or money while traveling. I bought white this time since I live in the tropics...I am also planning to get a black one! Enjoy this fantastic ...

great ... why won''t Athleta ever stock it?
Athleta, I loved this ... moment I purchased it. Several times over the past year I have logged on to buy more. Black ... Small has been out of stock for a couple months. Last month it said it was backordered until March, now it doesn't even show a back order date any more. You are almost always out of all the sizes in all the colors which is extremely frustrating. Clearly, these skirts are popular. Please manage your stock better. I probably would have purchased at least 3 more of these if you ever had ... Smalls available. Other than that, this is a great ... wash and wear, never wrinkles! I am 5'4", 130 with a flat belly ... ample rear and thighs and the ... small fits great.

I just bought 2 Bodega skirts which I LOVE. I saw a woman with one on and asked her where she got it and she said on line for Athletica! Needless to say I went home and called for more details. the regular size was sold out so the salesperson recommended a ... since I am 5'3". I was uneasy about whether it would be too short to wear to work ... much to my delight the length and fit is just perfect. I love the way it swishes when I walk. I have received so many compliments and it makes me feel sooo comfortable. I'd like to get several more colors!

The Athleta Reps kept encouraging me to try this ... finally did in a Small ... I'm 5'7", 130, and like my skirts at 17" or 18". Perfect.This IS a wonderful ... Very versatile and feels like butter....

Nice kicky ...
I actually bought this for work and, in reading the reviews, it has a nice fit ... can be a little long (skirts that hit the knee make my legs look heavy since I have fairly muscley calves.) I'm a size 16 with a 32" inseam, so I purchased this in a size Large ... it's perfect! Not too tight or too loose and it hits just above the knee for the most flattering fit. The pocket in back is cute and a good idea. If you don't like the look of it, just wear a shirt or sweater that covers it.

Perfect!
I am 5'2" and 118 lbs. Often skirts and pants in short or ... still too long and shirts look overpowering. The Bodega ... my first Athleta purchase. My daughter, who loves your yoga pants, also purchased the Bodega ... prior to leaving on a four month trip to Mexico. I am meeting her in Mexico this month. The Bodega ... travel staple for me. It is a perfect fit, so comfortable yet flattering and a great weight for year round travel. Thank you!

perfect ...
This ... perfect in almost every way! I was afraid that the fabric would be stiff and polyester y, like so many other Athleta's fabrics tend to be, especially in the pants. Wrong! It's a wonderful soft drapey fabric with a modal feel. I am 5'4, and like to have my skirts come down just above the knee, and this one does that in a ... XS fits better as the fabric has some stretch in it. The only thing I don't get is the pocket in the back - not like you could actually put anything there besides something small and flat, like a credit card, because it would pooch out and probably not be too comfortable. ... aside from that, this ... perfect!

Super cute and comfy!
I usually don't pay this much for skirts, ... prefer wearing skirts to shorts during the summer, and love the style of this. The fabric was a bit more casual than I was expecting (more like a worn in T shirt), ... holds its shape well and is so soft. As for sizing, I ordered the small ... fits perfectly for my 5'4", 115-pound frame. The fabric is a bit clingy and does show panty lines (even with a slip underneath), so just be aware of that. Also, I wore a slip under it the first time I wore it to see if that would hide the panty lines, ... fabric is so thick that you don't need one. Love this ... may order another!

Love this ...
This ... looks very good although I did some creative sizing to get what I wanted. I'm 5'5", 110 lbs and athletic, ... have a smaller waist/larger hip ratio. I have a couple pairs of pants and skirts from Athleta in size 4 regular that are a little snug in the butt/upper thighs yet a little loose in the waist. I ordered the Bodega ... XS as I wanted the ... hit a couple of inches above the knee in order to show the bottom of the quad (which it does). The waist is nice and snug, and the fabric flows out and drapes nicely around my hips without being clingy, showing saddlebags, or looking like I've got a hoop ... checked the measurements on several other skirts, ... Bodega had the biggest difference in the waist (29.5 inches) to high hip (35.25 inches) of the skirts I checked. I've just ordered two more.

great ...
Have several of these skirts. The regular was a little longer than I like, so I ordered the next ones in ... length is perfect! About an inch above the knee. Live in these all summer long they are so comfortable and cool. They are great for every day run around, I wear them on trails, and I can pair a dressy top with one for church. The only negative is the price! Athleta over charges for their products. That is why I gave it four stars. I am 5' 7" and 130 LB and a small ... fits perfect! Not tight at all!

Great ... I''m a bigger fan of the Aurora!
When I made my first order of skirts from Athleta, I ordered the Aurora, the Bodega and the Nusa Roll Over. I really thought that the Bodega would be my favorite, ... ended up that I preferred the Aurora. The reason is (and I'm probably silly) it took me several try ons to figure out which way the Bodega was supposed to fit! In other words, I had a hard time telling the front from the back or the sides. So I decided to send it back and get another Aurora. ... please don't get me wrong, I debated over it for days because the Bodega is a great ... just have a preference for the Aurora. I think some of it has to do with the pleats/gathers on the front of the Bodega too. My mid section is my problem area and I felt like it added bulk where I least needed it. The sizing and length were just as described, and I love that it's available in ... I'm 5'0" and weigh more than I want to right now (about 140) and the L was perfect! I'm just a little worried because I'm trying to lose weight and I'm afraid that 5 more pounds and it will be a little big. Guess if I get there, I'll just order more in M!

The Perfect Running Around Skort
I like to wear skirts but don't like to flash people when I bend over so this skirt is perfect for me. I did not have trouble with the built in shorts like some other reviewers noted. I did need to pull the shorts up slightly when I put the skirt on, but then everything lies flat like it should. I am 5" 2", 116 lbs, with an hourglass build. I typically wear a S Petite or a 4 Petite. The 4 Petite fit perfectly. I liked this so much, I ordered another color at full price.

Awesome skirt
This skirt is so great! I am 5'5" and although none of me is long, my legs are my longer body part so I don't usually wear a petite. Since the color I wanted was only available in that though, I thought I'd give it a try. It was very cute and although it wasn't too short to make me feel uncomfortable, it was shorter than I'd like so I am exchanging for a different color in the regular size. Otherwise the fit is great, not tight in the waist and great everywhere else. The material is great, seems to wear well and a good year round material. I also have the whatever skort and this is a bit thicker material. I love Athleta, I just wish I could afford more of their stuff. The few items I do have seem to be of good quality and many are made in the USA!!!

Great all around skort
Love this skort! ordered the size 8 but returned for the size 6. I'm 5'5" and 138 lbs and the 8 was too big, the 6 fits perfect. The length is great for around town but a bit too long for me, it hit just above the knee and I wanted a more sporty look so I am hemming it about 2" next time I will order the petite. The shorts underneath are great they do not ride up and are similar to bike shorts and they perfectly match the color of the skort.

Fun Skort to do everyday activities
I got my skort and it fit fine but I needed a shorter one so I reordered the petite. They sent me the new one within the next week. It fit great! I am normally a size 4 but got a 2. I'm also about 5'2" so the petite was a better length. If you want it a little closer to the knee then the regular would have been fine. Can't wait to wear it on our trip.

Very nice skort for running around
The material and construction are very nice. The mesh short is nice and lightweight so it should be more comfortable in hot weather than a lot of other skorts. I am 5' 3 1/2" and weigh about 125. I usually take a size 4 in bottoms. I don't usually wear a petite but I ordered a petite to have the skort hit a little higher. The length is perfect and shows a little leg but still has good coverage for a 43 year old. I don't mind the loop at the back and it doesn't bunch up if you pull the shorts up. This may not work for someone with larger thighs as the shorts do run a little tight. I like having the draw string since the waist runs a little large. I can pull the drawstring to get a better fit. I do not have a small waist, so I can see how someone with a smaller waist might have a bulge. Overall the skort works well for me. I got the blue spruce color on sale and would love to buy another more neutral color if they go on sale.

So comfortable and cute
I'm 5'3'' and 130 and have worn a size 8 for years. Ordered a petite 8 and had to send back for a petite 10 so I think this runs a little tight. Have ordered other petite 8's at Athleta and been fine. That being said, it was easy to exchange [...] and I love the look of this skort. Comfy and don't have to worry about exposing anyone.

Dipper Skort
I have the Dipper short and pants so finally got around to ordering the skort. I'm 5'3" 107 lbs and the size 2 fits perfectly. I didn't order petite but think the shorter style would look a little better. The skort flares out at the bottom and I wasn't expecting that based on the pictures. It's a little odd looking. Perhaps the petite would look better since it would be shorter but I'm not crazy about the available colors now. I have the Whatever skort in khaki so I don't want to order that color. I love the grey but it's not available in size 2/petite. Bummer.

Whoa Nellie! 14 Inches!!!
I ordered this skort in the Petite 4. I usually wear a petite from Athleta (5ft. 2 inches, fit 133lbs) and mostly wear a 4 but sometimes a 6, and usually a small in skirts. So, I expected, as per the website, for the skort to be 15 inches in length and when I opened it up I knew right away that it was too short for me! I tried it on and WOW!! I am fit and in pretty good shape, but it looked terrible on me that short! (Maybe someone a lot younger than me wouldn't mind but pushing 40 I just didn't think it did anything for me!) So I measured it and low and behold it only measured 14 inches, not the 15 they stated on the website. I sent it back and re ordered the 4 in the regular length. Hopefully that will work because overall it is really cute, the color blue is beautiful and I can't wait to wear it!

I am 5'1" and 119 lbs. I usually wear petite and am excited to find clothing lines that have petite sizes. I love the style and the length was perfect. What didn't work for me is the shorts part of the skort. The skirt sort of sticks to the short when you walk and the shorts felt a little tight.

CUTE STYLE. THE TAB IN THE BACK IS A LITTLE WEIRD AS IT SERVES NO PURPOSE AND IS KIND OF IN THE WAY. THE PETITE WAS SMALL, BUT I LIKE THE LOOK FROM THE FRONT SO I AM ORDERING IT IN A REGULAR 2 AND RETURNING THE PETITE 2. I HOPE IT FITS!

Bought this skort in 0 Regular. I am 5 feet, 103 lbs, a fit 51 years and normally proportioned for ... size - maybe more toward a narrow hipped shape. It fits comfortably and lands just above the knee. I am always a ... pants and skirts, a 0 Reg fits like a ... Shorts inside match the ... not skin tight on me. The Olive is a little closer to brown, ... still works with olive or khaki tops. I love it!

I've never tried any kind of 'skort' before and after trying this WHATEVER SKORT I am hooked. I LOVE it! Its so silky soft & lightweight & breezy, yet durable & water shedding. I love the coverage of the lil shorts underneath, not bulky AT ALL and not tight either. This skort is easily ... up for work or dinner, or ... down for doing chores, active anything -- super versatile. Amazingly comfy fits at waist and flare out just enough to look sweet & not cling at all. I debated on sizes ... ordered 8 ... normally wear size 7 or 8 dresses; medium sizes; curvy 128 lbs, 5'3, and LOVE IT - hits about an inch above my knees and sooo happy I chose the ... length! Waist is a tiny bit loose, which I would much prefer rather than a too tight size 6. Hope this helps with anyone debating on sizes!

I am so glad I found these! I am 5'6 and 135lbs and I got the size 8 and the fit great! I did get the ... because of the reviews that the regular is a bit long, I am glad I did. I do not like me skirts past ... knees, so the ... just right. I ... 4 colors now and plan on getting more, I know I will live in them all summer!

I love the Whatever Skort! This is ... second one. It is comfortable and cute. I get compliments ALL the time when I wear them. People ... even stopped me and asked where I got ... am a little on the short side - 5' 3" and 125 lbs. I usually wear a 6P in pants (in order to fit ... larger thighs) ... me having a smaller waist and skirts being more forgiving on thighs, I got the size 4 regular length. Glad that I got the regular length as I think a ... would be too short to wear to work. I got the falcon color and I love it! Kind of a mix between brown/gray/olive. Perfect for many different colored shirts. I was debating whether to get the cord ... another one of these. I decided to go with this one as I know how comfie ... other one is and it was less expensive. Planning on trying to wear it this fall and winter with tights.

I ... olive Whatever skort for cooler months and a cord one for fall/winter and LOVE them. The cord ... not a skort which actually feels better less bulky. I ordered those in regular sizing and don't remember if they came in ... back then - I don't think so. ... just ordered the Asphalt in a ... size and it fits above ... knee - I am almost 5' 3". The others are just at/below ... knee, ... doesn't bother me. Very comfortable and versitile - I live in different types of skirts all spring/summer and wanted to add another of these one of ... very favorites.

Originally ordered a regular size 8 which is generally ... size, ... had to send them back and ordered size 6 ... instead. I'm 5'3" and 140 lbs. I don't usually order ... sizes because I like skirts and shorts a little longer, ... I'm glad I did with these. Got in the asphalt and brown, and I'm excited to wear them on an upcoming trip to the South Pacific!

This is great!
This is a great skort! I ... been wearing it all summer long, and despite the heat (90+), this keeps me cooler than anything else I own. I love the little shorts too...not too tight, ... they don't ride up either. I ... athletic build and I'm 5'5'', 134lbs. As much as I love it, I do wish it sit a little lower on ... waist and was a bit shorter. I ended up ordering the 6 ... because I don't like skirts that hit at, or just below ... knee. The ... hits just at/slightly above ... knee. I will be ordering more of these skirts!

Great skort - so versatile!
I love this skort - super comfy ... also nice enough to wear out and about. It does run a little long though, in ... opinion. I am 5'5" and ordered a 4 ... - glad I did because it is just barely above the knee. If you like your skirts a bit shorter, then go with ... sale it is a great value!

LOVE!
I've had my eye on the whatever skort for a long time ... debated taking the plunge as I thought it might be too flouncy. I've been all about the skort this summer and as a person who is only 5'1", I thought that the ... length was going to be too long to wear as a golf skort. I was right (plus no front pockets--which would make this the perfect skort ever), ... once I received it, I knew it would actually be more practical as an everyday ... So I exchanged it for the regular length and it drops to about mid knee for me. Perfect for wearing to work, running around town, etc. I can't believe it took me this long to get this skort! So much easier than wearing compression shorts under my skirts! I gave it 4 stars because I do think the rise is pretty high (even in the ... version--I think Athleta petites only change the length and nothing else). It comes up over my belly button and I prefer something just below. I also find the sizing a little inconsistent. I wear anything between a 2 and 6 in Athleta bottoms. I first tried the 4s and they fit, ... wanted more of a relaxed fit and thought if I sized up, I could drop the rise a bit. I went with the 6 and they fit just like the 4s. I also ordered two pairs of dipper pants at the same time and one fit loose and the other was too tight. I think some recommend sizing down, ... every time I've taken the size down advice, I always needed my regular size or a size bigger. I must have more of a belly pouch than most. :( At any rate, I'm back online to buy more. My partner is not happy, ... WHATEVER!

cute and comfy
this is the best ... ever! light weight, stretchy and comfortable. I am 5'9" and usually wear either a 6 or 8 in dresses and skirts. I got this in a 8 because I think athleta tends to run a little on the smaller side in thier bottoms. the 8 fits perfect. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it does show wrinkles and they don't come out ... its a flowy ... so they don't look bad. Also the material is kind of like swimsuit material ... don't think I would wear to an office ... its perfect for everything else. I bought another and get compliments all the time. I do think if you are ... might be too long. It hits me right above ... knee. The shorts underneath are very light and stretchy and do not ride up.
