Just Right!
I had read the reviews prior to buying and was nervous about the fit. I'm 5'3", weight 118 and buy petites when available. I ordered size 4, ... These fit just right and I have enough room to wear thermals if needed. They are expensive so I wanted to "love' them and I do!

Best Ski Pants EVER!
I'm 6' tall, 155lbs, usually wear a 10T in Athleta and these fit perfectly. I have never had ski pants that were LONG! The low rise fit is awesome too - it's the most comfortable for me, with such a long waist/torso. I actually love the denim look, as jeans are my favorite type of pants. My husband even said I could wear these out to dinner or a club! Ha...probably not, but at least I could do errands on way home from the mountain and not feel weird being in traditional ski pants. I LOVE them so much - and they really flatter my rear end - unlike most bulky ski pants. Let it snow!

Warm and Fashionable
I bought my 2nd pair this year - just to have an extra pair handy. The price is high, however, the quality reflects the price. I have spent hours outside in the snow - making snow angels, skiing, watching my daughter during her ski lessons and more. The middle of snow blizzards in the depth of thigh deep snow with gusting winds of snow blowing at me - I stayed warm and dry. I was able to play with my children without wanting desperately to go back inside due to feeling uncomfortable. I am 5 ' 8 1/2" tall and wear a regular size 8 pants. I always need to take in the waist - that's just my body type. I prefer to have more room in the legs and bottom area as I don't like to feel like a sausage stuffed in casing. However, the pants are not so roomy that they would chafe my legs, by any means. They have a soft, fleece like lining that feels so wonderfully comfortable...even with my sensitive, winter skin. I receive compliments and questions as to where I found my snow pants. I truly like the pockets too. Everything is thought through by the creators of this snow ... Please don't change them!! Please don't ever discontinue them either! The jean look rocks! Many thanks, Athleta! I finally found a snow ... look forward to wearing!

Love ''em!
Cute, cute ski pants! I am so happy to find ski pants that run in lengths, as I have shorter legs! I wear an 8 in most jeans, but the petite 10s fit great - just a bit big in the waist though, so I'l have to wear a belt. I do have a curvy figure, so no surprise there. I just wanted to be sure they weren't too tight in the butt and thighs, so I gambled with the bigger size and I'm glad I did. They are pretty low waisted, which I don't mind - just will have to be sure all is tucked in properly before hitting the slopes! Love the "jeans look" styling. Not sure I need the leg vents - but otherwise love these ski pants.

Nice ski pants!
Really nice looking pants, though I think I should have ordered the petite size--just a bit too long. Will trade them in and see how it goes. Otherwise, the fabric is really nice and I got a lot of compliments! Very waterproof and warm enough, too. I do wish that the waist tabs were made differently, like the North Face ski pants are done. Overall, a very good effort for a first foray into skiwear from the great exercise clothing company.

You won''t see these everywhere
Love the ski jean! I spend a good deal of time looking at ski wear and these are the only jean ski pants I've seen. Everyone who sees them asks where I got them. I read other review before ordering and all said that the pants ran big and to order a smaller size. I am normally a 6 so ordered a 4 and they were still to big! I really liked them so returned the 4's and exchanged for a 2 which fits perfectly. That would be my only complaint about these well made and darling pants.

LOVE THESE SKI PANTS!
Ok, this is my second season with these pants! Initially, the hook on the first pair I received was broken. Apparently this was a common issue with these ski pants. Athleta had a "hand written like" post it stuck to the pants telling me how to use the closure. Needless to say, I had a rapid exchange. Although, the closure does still give me issues. I noticed this years model appears to have a button. Should I exchange them? hmmmm - I have received MORE compliments on these pants! From little kids, to men and women of all ages! I LOVE them! Also, being out for lengths of time, the numerous pockets enable me to pack all kinds of stash.

Love the pants, less impressed with quality and customer service
I've snowboarded for 13 years with pants that are too short (34" inseam without boots on), so I was thrilled when I saw Athleta had tall snow pants. On the expensive side, so I held off for a few years, but finally gave in when they were 20% off. They run a little big, but the smallest in Talls is 4, so if you're a beanpole like me, get a belt! The pants were great for the two days I got to use them. They were warm when needed, and the vents were perfect. Stayed dry as well and looked cute to boot. Hubby commented that my fly was open. When I looked down, sure enough you could see my long underwear! But the zipper was closed. The stitching that was supposed to hold the zipper on was completely missing. I thought about fixing it myself, but but was worried about ruining the technical fabric and also thought that for $300, they should be replaced. I called to replace them and was told they were out of 4Ts, but that I could return them for a refund and then reorder when they got more in, probably in the next week or so, and they would honor the discount. Not ideal, but OK. So I sent them back. When I called today to find out the status of the pants, I was told they weren't getting any more in this season, so I am just out of luck. If I had known that before I returned my defective pants, I would have thought harder about fixing them myself. The Burton tall pants aren't as cute, but I'll be buying a pair of those instead.

Low on the backside
I am 5'5" and 140# and pear shaped. I ordered a 10 petite (to fit above ski boot).The material and design is great. It fit well, except for the back side. When I sat down, I resembled a plumber (you know what I mean!) and the cut would be way too low on the backside for me to be comfortable on the lift. I am going to try a 12 to give a little more room for a thin layer underneath the ... but I fear I will have the same problem.

Gigantic!
I am 5'1", 106 lbs and ordered a 2 petite. The pants are absolutely gigantic and will be sent back. Quite unfortunate. If they had fit, I think they would look great. Quality also seems impressive. I order 2 petite from Athleta often and they usually fit fine (e.g., Montaine ... Snow Cruiser ... 2 petite fit great).

too bad about the pants
My whole experience with these pants was disappointing. This is unusual for Athleta They are a great company with good products. the pants took 2 weeks to arrive. The first pair of size 6 were HUGE. I am 5'7" with thin athletic build. I returned the 6 for a size 4 which again took 2 weeks to arrive. When they got to me the front snap was missing and there was someones chewed gum stuffed in the front pocket. I did not find out until I tried them on so I can comment that the pants still ran large. I returned the Athleta pants and purchased some by North Face. Thats my sad powder jean story hope others experience is better. Thanks for listening.

My First Skort
I've never owned a skort and bought this because I liked the color and it was on sale. The size small fits perfectly (I'm usually an 8) and is very comfortable. I don't have the issues with the back that some people have. The length is good. I didn't get a petite as I thought it would be too short and I am very comfortable with the length of the regular. I know I will wear this a lot as it can go practically anywhere.

The Perfect Running Around Skort
I like to wear skirts but don't like to flash people when I bend over so this skirt is perfect for me. I did not have trouble with the built in shorts like some other reviewers noted. I did need to pull the shorts up slightly when I put the skirt on, but then everything lies flat like it should. I am 5" 2", 116 lbs, with an hourglass build. I typically wear a S Petite or a 4 Petite. The 4 Petite fit perfectly. I liked this so much, I ordered another color at full price.

Fun Skort to do everyday activities
I got my skort and it fit fine but I needed a shorter one so I reordered the petite. They sent me the new one within the next week. It fit great! I am normally a size 4 but got a 2. I'm also about 5'2" so the petite was a better length. If you want it a little closer to the knee then the regular would have been fine. Can't wait to wear it on our trip.

Very nice skort for running around
The material and construction are very nice. The mesh short is nice and lightweight so it should be more comfortable in hot weather than a lot of other skorts. I am 5' 3 1/2" and weigh about 125. I usually take a size 4 in bottoms. I don't usually wear a petite but I ordered a petite to have the skort hit a little higher. The length is perfect and shows a little leg but still has good coverage for a 43 year old. I don't mind the loop at the back and it doesn't bunch up if you pull the shorts up. This may not work for someone with larger thighs as the shorts do run a little tight. I like having the draw string since the waist runs a little large. I can pull the drawstring to get a better fit. I do not have a small waist, so I can see how someone with a smaller waist might have a bulge. Overall the skort works well for me. I got the blue spruce color on sale and would love to buy another more neutral color if they go on sale.

Please make 0 Petite!

So comfortable and cute
I'm 5'3'' and 130 and have worn a size 8 for years. Ordered a petite 8 and had to send back for a petite 10 so I think this runs a little tight. Have ordered other petite 8's at Athleta and been fine. That being said, it was easy to exchange [...] and I love the look of this skort. Comfy and don't have to worry about exposing anyone.

Dipper Skort
I have the Dipper short and pants so finally got around to ordering the skort. I'm 5'3" 107 lbs and the size 2 fits perfectly. I didn't order petite but think the shorter style would look a little better. The skort flares out at the bottom and I wasn't expecting that based on the pictures. It's a little odd looking. Perhaps the petite would look better since it would be shorter but I'm not crazy about the available colors now. I have the Whatever skort in khaki so I don't want to order that color. I love the grey but it's not available in size 2/petite. Bummer.

Whoa Nellie! 14 Inches!!!
I ordered this skort in the Petite 4. I usually wear a petite from Athleta (5ft. 2 inches, fit 133lbs) and mostly wear a 4 but sometimes a 6, and usually a small in skirts. So, I expected, as per the website, for the skort to be 15 inches in length and when I opened it up I knew right away that it was too short for me! I tried it on and WOW!! I am fit and in pretty good shape, but it looked terrible on me that short! (Maybe someone a lot younger than me wouldn't mind but pushing 40 I just didn't think it did anything for me!) So I measured it and low and behold it only measured 14 inches, not the 15 they stated on the website. I sent it back and re ordered the 4 in the regular length. Hopefully that will work because overall it is really cute, the color blue is beautiful and I can't wait to wear it!

I am 5'1" and 119 lbs. I usually wear petite and am excited to find clothing lines that have petite sizes. I love the style and the length was perfect. What didn't work for me is the shorts part of the skort. The skirt sort of sticks to the short when you walk and the shorts felt a little tight.

CUTE STYLE. THE TAB IN THE BACK IS A LITTLE WEIRD AS IT SERVES NO PURPOSE AND IS KIND OF IN THE WAY. THE PETITE WAS SMALL, BUT I LIKE THE LOOK FROM THE FRONT SO I AM ORDERING IT IN A REGULAR 2 AND RETURNING THE PETITE 2. I HOPE IT FITS!

Sizing is off
I am 5'1 and 100 lbs. The 2 petite is huge on me, yet it doesn't come in a 0 petite. I'm returning it for the 0 regular, but who knows if that will fit either. I am really disappointed, I usually have no problem fitting into Athleta's sizing, so I don't know what it is about this item. When I cinched the waist to fit, it looked like I was wearing clown pants. Hope the other size is OK.

Cute for the winter
Enjoying the skirt, fit is very comfortable and looks great dressed up or casual. As always the pieces that I buy from Athleta are great. I am a ... am so thankful that you carry petites in most all your clothes.

Love the skirt, but it runs kinda big, didn't want to go through the hassle to see if the 2 ... fit better than the 4 petit so I just kept it and it will be big in the waist- I am 5'3 128 with about a 27inch waist.

Great casual skirt
I have two of these skirts - my husband bought me the green (Tapenade) one last year and I bought the Fieldstone color this fall. This is a great casual skirt - very comfortable. I am 5'8", 150 pounds and usually wear a 10 or 12 in jeans/pants/skirts, size M in athleta skirts and L in athleta workout pants. I have this skirt in both a 12 [...] and 10 - the 10 fits much better, so I would say this skirt is very true to size. I can still wear the 12 no problem by just cinching up the drawcord at the waist, it's just a little looser, which doesn't matter that much with this skirt.

Finally for petites!
Love this cord skirt with a great shape! ... length is perfect for a shorty like me--I'm 5'3" and it hits above the knee. Cord is lightweight, so don't expect this to be superheavy.

so far okay
Ordered an 8 tall in rye as I needed this to cover my knees. One thing you can't see in the picture is that it has contrasting stitching in the same color as the waist fabric. It will limit what I wear it with, but it's not worth returning over. In general, can't wait to wear this skirt. I have short legs, and the 8 Tall hits just below my knees. I usually wear between a 6 and 8 in most brands for low rise pants and ordered an 8 as I tend to wear a 10 in mid rise pants. The 8 fit perfectly despite some reservations. I'm 5'6" and 165 pounds. Need to lose a bit of weight but it's mostly muscle and bone. It is a bit "tight" around my thighs, but I have athletic thighs and no hips to speak of, so I always expect to either have stuff tight around the thighs or loose on the hips. Hope this will become a staple in my wardrobe.

Really wanted to love it...
I kept waiting for this skirt to show up online in my size at the sale price, and when it finally did, I jumped at it. I'm normally a size 12 in Athleta pants and went to a size 10 in this skirt. I'm 5'7", 145 pounds. The material was a lightweight cord and looked like it would hold up well. Unfortunately, for me, the fit of this skirt was off almost everywhere. The hips actually fit fine but the waist was huge. I used the drawstrings which gathered too much fabric and it was noticeably bunched. The bottom flared out too much and made me look heavier than normal. If it would have been just a bit more fitted, I likely would have kept it. Unfortunately, there were too many things wrong and I sadly sent it back.

skirt''s cute, but...
This skirt is way too big. I got a 2 ... swimming around my waist and stomach. So I thought I'd get a 0 ... only to find that...Athleta apparently doesn't HAVE 0 petites, only 0 regular. What sense does this make? Will have to return. And probably can't get anything else without paying to have 3 inches chopped off the hem, since there are no 0 petites.
