Can You Fall In Love With Tights?
I definitely have fallen for these tights, and would wear them to bed, too, if they weren't already sweaty. I am 5' 105 lbs and the ... XXS was just right. I would normally order XS but they were out when I ordered so I took a chance since some folks thought they run large . . . and voila, that was just right.
Perfect
These pants are fantastic. I wear them for running, but they're comfortable enough to wear for non athletic uses (not a lot of compression - which I like). ... provided the perfect amount of warmth/breathability for long ... January in New England, and I found ... stayed in place just great and I didn't need to do any adjusting during my ... all. A large fits me like a glove, and I'm usually a large on the bottom. I also love the Chatarunga knickers - love this whole line. And I wear them exclusively running, as I'm not much of a yogi. Love, love, love these pants.
Great Tights!
I just love Athleta's bottoms! First of all, I am short (5'1") and definitely need the option of purchasing ... pants and tights. It's wonderful to place an order and have it arrive and almost always fit perfectly! I weigh 123 lbs. and usually order a ... Size Small. These tights are so flattering and fit perfectly. They are so comfortable and great for Yoga and other cardio and toning exercise classes. They stay put and don't expose too much skin. I have big hips, but when I wear these tights, I feel slim! I may wear them with a long tunic and flats for a different look, too. I was fortunate to be able to use my rewards for this purchase. I have to save my money for my Athleta purchases, but they are always worth it! Love, love, love these tights!
Fantastic Tights - be sure to get the right size!
These are all around great tights, for yoga or ... durable and have great compression. Look good for workouts or as leggings under long shirts and dresses (especially if you want that compressive effect for a smooth line!). For those reviewers who find that the pants slip and need to be pulled up on a regular basis - you are buying your ... too big!!! At the store, we are constantly helping women to size down in our compression ... fight "the slip." If you are a size 2-4, buy an XS!!! If you are a size 6, buy an S! Medium works for women who are in the 8-10 range, and L for 12/14, XL for 14/16. Obviously ... guidelines, but if you buy them a bit larger because you don't want them to feel tight, the inevitable result is that ... won't stay in place during a workout. The ... extremely well designed, and sizing down won't give you a muffin top - just better compression and overall fit. Cheers, and see you in Georgetown!
Great Yoga Tight
I ordered these in a Tall (I'm 5' 9") and they fit perfectly. They are a good fit, not too tight or compressive (so therefore not really great for running as they tend to want to migrate and they have no waist tie since ... really for yoga). I've worn them for yoga, running and as leggings and aside from the running, I would say ... great all the way around :)

These tights are awesome. They are super flattering, the wide waistband doesn't dig in, and they stay put even on long runs. Highly recommended. I am 5' 3", 121 pounds, and the ... size small fit perfectly.
Amazing yoga tights!
I opened the box when these arrived today, and after trying these pants on, I almost couldn't bring myself to take them off. They're AMAZING! They feel *better* than a second skin. Wearing them is more comfortable than wearing nothing at all. That said, they are plenty thick for compression, warmth, and durability. It's the quality and sensation of the material that makes these so wonderful to wear. I know I ordered petite sizing, and I think I got XXS, but maybe XS. I'm very short, and the petite length worked great. These tights hit right at at my angle, where they're supposed to be. I was hoping to sport these for yoga, outdoor running, and hiking. They would be a welcome partner for all of these activities, and many more. I may have to get another pair (or as many as I can afford) to keep myself outfitted in the best ever yoga tights. Can't recommend enough <3 The charcoal color looks great. I guess I'll get the same color again, or go for black next time. Cheers :-)
great for yoga or pilates, not so much for running
I absolutely adore the Chaturanga capris for Pilates and running, so thought I'd try the tights for the colder weather. ... fabulous for Pilates, but when I ... them, I find myself constantly pulling the waist up -- ... NOT stay up, which makes for a very uncomfortable ... some reason, the capris do not seem to do this. ... fit well and are flattering, and definitely seem to be true to size -- I'm really not sure what the problem is. But bottom line -- I would recommend these for yoga or Pilates, but definitely not for ...
Pretty nice pants
I am about 5'2" and I got these in a petite small. They were a little shorter than I expected, but with the split hem, I still like the way they fit. Also, for a petite ... rise was higher than I expected, causing them not to stay up at my waist as well as I would like during intense workouts or while running, but I wouldn't want them any tighter (aka: a smaller size). Overall a good ... few quirks.
did not pass the "bend" test!
I loved these leggings on first wear--soft fabric, a good amount of compression, and perfect petite length (I am 5'0"). However, after reading about another activewear company recalling thousands of pairs of their yoga pants because they were too sheer, I thought I had better put these leggings to the test in order to avoid any embarrassing situations. Unfortunately, they definitely failed the "bend" test (and I had already worn them to yoga class a couple of times--oops). Upon closer inspection, these leggings had some sheerness issues when I wasn't even in a forward fold. I tried the black color in both XS and XXS, so I don't think it is a sizing issue. Happily, Athleta's return policy is excellent... unhappily, it is back to the drawing board to find a pair of yoga leggings in the right ... length :(
