great for women with muscular thighs
I love these. I often have trouble finding pants that fit well since I have relatively small hips and big thighs. These fit me perfectly once I switched from petite (too short in the inseam for my almost 5'3" body) to regular. XS worked well for me, though I wear a Small in the more fitted Athleta pants, such as Kickbooty. The waist is pretty high on these so if you prefer a lower rise, these may not be for you.

Great fit in these yoga pants. They look like a nice dress ... feel so comfortable like your favorite yoga pants. My inseam is 32", so instead of going short as most do - I went with the 34" and will cut to fit. I will be wearing them on a regular basis, not just for yoga. Bought 3 colors and will have to see if there are more!
I love these pants!
I really love these pants. They are so comfortable that I don't want to take them off. Great for yoga, eliptical, travel, casual day at work and lounging. I got the Petite navy blue color. I am 5'2" and the length is perfect for ballet slip ons. It is a really nice color. Sometimes you order the outfit in the catalog, get it home and it looks really bad together. This color really does go with the gray sizzle halter tank and black wild card jacket pictured in the catalog. I love the outfit and these pants. I particularly love them because I can take my yoga class and run around town without everyone thinking I'm wearing my workout clothes.
I love the wide leg design! Bootcut pants are VERY unflattering on me and make my hips look big and my knees look knocked. Yay! for wide leg! All the Athleta brand petite pants were an inch too short for me but these pants fit! Go figure. I'm ordering another pair!

This is a perfect pant:fabric, cut, pockets, rise - all is A+ except for the length. By now I am used to the fact that Athleta's petite is a tiny bit too short for my 5.3, but this one beat them all - a whopping 3 inches to short (and that without wearing any shoes). I took a tape measure and instaed of 28" they were only 27". Would have ordered in a regular, but is sold out in my size. So I got creative and let them our (there was enough material to do this and it came out great). I hope this ... continue to be sold (maybe in a burgundy or a teal?). I keep looking when my size will be back in stock and I will definitely order a regular then ... ;-)
Great pants, but wow the Petites are SHORT!
I loved these pants the minute I put them on. In fact, I wore them every day for about 3 days! My one little beef is that the petites are really short! I'm 5'1", a standard petite, and these hit at about the ankle. I personally like my pants a bit longer, so my next pair will be a regular. Other than that, these were incredibly comfortable, kept their shape and looked about 1000 times better than any of my other workout pants!
Can I wear these to work?
I fell in love with these pants the moment I tried them on. Infact, I ordered another pair immediately. Being petite, finding pants that don't require some tweaking is really a challenge. These pants fit me perfectly and I find them to be very flattering. The fabric is buttery soft and the fabric drapes nicely. The front pockets lay flat which is a plus, but I don't think I will store more than a single folded bill in them. I do wish that they came in more colors.
Practical and versatile
As comfortable as Bettona pants but a little more dressy looking. Would purchase in other colors if available. Petite was a little shorter than I hoped for. If you are a boderline petite height wise and you don't plan on wearing flat shoes, probably regular size will be a better length.
I love these pants. I'm 5'1" and the petite is the perfect length. The rise is just what I expected: not too high nor too low. I haven't worn them to the gym yet as I bought them to wear on a long flight. I don't think I'd wear these on a run as they seem to be more a low impact type of ... Possibly for yoga or weight lifting. Very comfy. The little pockets in front are a thoughtful detail.
Not Bad but not Great
These pants have already started to pile around crotch and thighs after only a few wears. Not only that the waist sits in a very unflattering spot and being only 5'2 and petite found the legs too short. These pants may look great but I expected to feel great in them too.
Comfortable, but...
The small petite is the perfect fit! I am 5'1". The pants are very comfortable, but for the price I am very disappointed that they seem to be pilling at places they may see a little more friction (inside the legs and knees). I wouldn't have paid this much if I knew this was going to happen. BUT they are comfortable and my husband likes them on me too!
