love, love, love this skirt.
This skirt is true to size and very comfy. I'm 5'5" and 115 lbs and ordered a size small. Washing it right now to take to DC for the weekend. Looks great and I know I'll be wearing it to death. Made in California which is very important to me to support our own. I hope they make more and Athleta will continue to offer their line of clothing.

This skirt was even nicer than I expected, and is worth the money at the sale price. The tie die print is great, and the fabric is fantastic - super, super soft and comfy. Looking forward to wearing this as a layer for an upcoming yoga weekend retreat! The foldover waist allows you some control over length and rise, both of which I like. My only complaint would be that the length is a bit long for petite (5' 3") but I can definitely live with it.
Love this skirt!
Most comfortable piece of clothing I own, I highly recommend. Skirt is incredibly comfortable and looks fantastic. Chic casual for everyday wear or can be dressed up. It fit true to size for me -- I normally wear a size 4 / small in skirts, am 5'8" and it hits me slightly above kneecap on length and I wear foldover waist right above my hips. Foldover style of waist provides flexibility in length.
MY FAVORITE PIECE OF CLOTHING
This skirt is very similar to a maternity skirt I used to own. I think it may be the same brand ... Pond). Anyway, I am not pregnant anymore but bought this skirt because I remember how comfy the maternity one was. I LOVE this skirt!!! It is SUPER DUPER soft and flowy. My family must be getting sick of seeing it because I reach for it every time I open my closet. I am 5'7" and 120 lbs. and I ordered a size Small which fits perfectly. I have the red one which is beautiful! I am going to order the black and the blue ones right now!
Super soft and comfortable skirt!
This skirt is very flattering, and comfortable with soft fabric. The only comment I have is to watch for the wide waist size. I am usually an athleta large and carry my weight in my middle, but even so, the waist is just way too big in this skirt, even if you fold over the material at the waist. I can imagine it falling down off the hips with any kind of sporty activity. In the middle of an exchange for a medium, but overall, very fun article of clothing and a go to piece for any beach vacation.
Not made for curvy women
I've purchased similar skirts from other companies: Columbia/Prana. This skirt, while the fabric is super soft and has (unexpected) curved seams, is way to clingy. I am 5' 0" with a stocky build. This skirt is made for the skinny, flat stomach, straight bodied women which model the clothing. Love the color but if you're curvy with extra pounds then this skirt is not for you. I find most of Athleta's clothing is made for the tall, thin very fit woman.
not for a hippy girl
this skirt is clingy and not forgiving. Meant more for a girl with a great shape - maybe a yoga teacher!
