Best skort ever
I have finally found my marathon skort! I have been on a quest all summer for the perfect running skort. And I have tried A LOT of them -- 3 others from Athleta (endorphin, swift zip, and chase), plus some of the typical running gear brands. I needed something light weight that would not ride up or chafe. The second wind skort does the job. (Wish I had found this in July). Light and breezy, cool and comfortable, and no chafing. The shorts are meshy and about a half inch longer than in some of the other Athleta skorts, which I think helps keep them in place. I wore the skort on an 18-miler last weekend, have done hill repeats in it, and will wear it for my 20-miler tomorrow. Best skort ever. Just ordered a second one. Of all the Athleta skorts, I was probably least attracted to this one b/c of the pleats (wasn't sure I'd like them), but I must say that it is much cuter on than I expected. As for sizing, I ordered a S b/c that was what was available in black, but was concerned that I might need an XS (I'm 5'3", 117lbs, 26" waist, 36" hips). But the S is great. Waist is slightly loose, but the drawstring fixes that. I would not call this skort wrinkle free; I have carefully ironed it (even though it says not to) on the wrong side to get out some big creases, and that worked fine.

A gem!
This skirt is so great, both in terms of form and function! Let's start with aesthetics. The A line cut is adorable and would flatter any body. The pleating gives this skort a girly vibe, but the minimalism of the pleats, coupled with the neat contrast stitch details keeps the look very modern. Now for function: my two favorite features of this skort are the range of movement it allows and ... the incredible BREATHABILITY! The skirt portion of this garment as well as the little compression shorts underneath are made of different, but equally well chosen and lightweight materials. The skirt is thick enough to be durable, and yet it whirls when in motion, airing out the skin underneath. Since the skirt overlays the shorts and thus gives ample coverage, the shorts are crafted from the airiest of athletic fabrics. As someone who sweats a lot, I cannot say how fabulous this feature is. I can perform a full range of movements while getting plenty of breeze circulated to my lower body, and without worrying about anybody on the court, on the street, or in the gym catching a glimpse of my more private parts. That brings me to my next happy discovery, i.e., the versatility of this skort. I bought it for tennis, but it has become my go to item for anything I would normally wear athletic shorts for: tennis, walking/running outside, hiking (with enough bug spray and in a no tic area), in the-gym cardio, and even some in the-gym strength training, if you're the type who can do without compression shorts/pants on some days. It would also be a great staple for casual team sports events, like a friendly ultimate frisbee or volleyball game. I did find this skort to run a little big. I normally wear an XS, and I'm going to keep the size I got, although if I buy again (likely!), I will probably size down to XXS. The skort was mostly too loose in the waist/hips, but the drawstring allows me to wear the XS comfortably without fear of sagging or unintended mooning. This skort hits at a really nice place for me, a little bellow mid thigh, however that said, I am quite short (5'0"), so it may be too short for taller ladies. Okay, just one more hurrah, I promise: absolutely no chaffing! Have fun with this gem, ladies :-)

LOVE this running skirt.
I absolutely love this skirt. It's a bit longer than most running skirts, so for me that means it's modest enough to run to the grocery store or wherever after a work out. Plus, I can wear it to work out classes at my office without worrying about indecency. I did not have the ride up problem that previous reviewers had, mostly I think because the inside shorts come down past the widest part of my thighs. I expect a little bit of ride up with any running "bottom" so I was really pleasantly surprised by these. Also, they're ridiculously cute. The only slight issue was that these are a little loose in the waist, but I'll just tighten the string (which I usually cut out of all running shorts). I'm 5'6" 130-135lbs, 28" waist, 38" hips and the M was just right.

LOVE it!
Recently ran a full marathon in this skirt and it was great. Kept me nice and cool, super light, pocket in the back held my snack- plus I felt kinda cute wearing it! :)

Compared to the other running skorts I've tried, the fit and function of this one is superior. The hand of the fabric is super light and comfortable. It not only preforms great, but looks great too. I purchased this skort to run in the Boston Marathon it worked out wonderfully! The under short is a cool mesh type material. If one is expecting a compression type short you should pass on these. For me, these were incredibly comfortable. No chafing nor fussing with wedgies/riding up. Running the Boston is an amazing experience, and I'm glad I chose these for race day. I purchased a small based upon the ... chart. My thighs are rather large in proportion to the rest of me, however, the liner never strangled, and the skirt managed to camouflage this figure flaw. I bought the black with the pink zig zag top stitching on upper pleat seams. This matched perfectly with the bra top from Athleta, along with my race shoes, hat, etc.. I feel I can go from workout to the market ... appropriately. Look forward to seeing how this does on the hot and humid summer days ahead. Definitely plan on purchasing another. One last thing- this machine washes well (4x so far)and line dries in no time.

LOOOOOOOOOVE this skirt!!!
I got this skirt in purple for tennis and I absolutely love it! The shorts are cool and stay put (they don't ride up). The skirt is woven and thin so I don't get hot. The pleats are adorable and there is a convenient zipper pocket on the back that is the perfect ... hold a tennis ball. The only thing I would say is that the skirt runs on the big side. I am 5'3", weigh 105 and the XXS is a little loose.

great skirt
This fits great, nice length and great alternative to shorts. I will be wearing this a lot this spring and summer and will probably get another color. I am a ... 8 skirt and ordered a medium.

A little big
I really like this skirt. It seemed to run a little big on me. I had to return my usual ... get in all Athleta clothes and order a ... smaller.

Nice Running Skirt
I only wear running skirts to run in and have done so for more than three years now. I'm a 5'5", 135 about to be fifty woman and having something nice yet functional is important to me. It's a really cute skirt and I enjoy wearing it. Love the pleats as they add an interesting feature to the front. I'm pretty true to the size 8 and wear that size in most of my clothing. Occasionally I wear a 6 in skirts. I found the waist to be a little tighter than I would have liked but overall the fit was good. Liked the shorts underneath as they do not ride up which is important to me for comfortable running. I wish they had this skirt in more colors like bright blue and green.

nice but fits big
This is a nice style but it was too big. I've ordered work out skorts from Athleta before that have fit true to ... but this did not. My suggestion would be to order one ... smaller in this skirt.

too youthful for this 40 year old
The large was a bit too loose in the waist for my 5'11", 160 lb frame. The medium fit much better. The style wasn't for me. Although the pleats are functional to allow for a long stride and stretching, I think it looks too much like a cheerleader skirt. Where the inseam met the hem on one leg of one pair I tried wasn't flat and it rubbed on my thigh. The other pair I tried didn't though. Too much chafe potential there. The white wasn't see though, which is a plus, and the turquoise was beautiful. A nice change from the typical black. I did return both pair though. One was too big and the other, although it fit, had the chafing seam. Not good on a 6 mile run. Darn.

So comfortable and super cute! The fabric is very forgiving. I'm a very active ... 8 and usually buy medium. This skirt in medium fits great, although a little roomy, (but I think I'm somewhere between a small and medium now that my workouts have gotten more intense.) Can tailor the skirt to ... drawstring. The multi directional stripes mix up the look; I've received many compliments!

perfect ...
This is probably one of my favorite skirts of all time! It fits great, very flattering, super soft and comfy material, stays true to shape after wearing all day, washes well--does not shrink. For me, it's the perfect ... wish there were other colors because I would buy them all!

The ... comfortable and perfect for spring/summer weather. The material is extremely soft too. The ... hits right at my knees and I am 5'7, so a little bit longer than expected. The ... runs just a little bit big, so if you are between sizes, I would recommend the smaller ... Great buy!

Absolutely adorable!
If you like stripes and asymmetrical looks, you will love this ... normally do not spend this much money on skirts (or any clothing items actually!), but I wanted to spend some summer "mad money" on cute things I could wear all summer long. I'm so glad I got this! It's extremely soft and just adorable. As for sizing, it fits true to ... I'm 5'4" and about 115 pounds, and the petite XS fits great -- it's not too snug and has nice drape around my thighs and hips. (I usually wear a 0 or 2 in bottoms.) Love, love, love this!

Great ...
Love this ... I'm 5'3" and 145 pounds so I ordered the large petite because I hate skirts that are too clingy in all the wrong places :) It fits perfectly and skims over areas that I wanted it to skim over. I was scared the stripes wouldn't work for me, but surprisingly they're fine!

Great feel!
The soft jersey feel of this fabric is thicker and heavier (i.e. – nicer) than I expected, and I love it. The weight of the ... makes it hang perfectly and the angles are flattering. I wish all my skirts felt and looked this good.

One of the best purchases from Athleta yet!
I originally ordered this in a ... M. I'm an hourglass, typically S on top, and M on bottom(size 28-29 jeans). I got it, and tried it on, and it fit pretty true to ... but a tiny bit loose. I tend to wear my pants and skirts fitted well so they don't make me appear larger than I am. I tried it as a tube top dress,-VERY cute!-and since I have a smaller ribcage, even though I'm a 32-34 D cup, it was a tiny bit more loose than I am comfortable with. It hit just across my knee. I exchanged it for a small, and it was just a tiny bit extra snug, but fit well as a tube top, and hit just above my knee (5'4"), and looked extremely cute! The adjustable tie at the waist is nice. The only criticism I have is that the foldover waistband part could have been a tad bit longer just to accomodate us girls with larger busts when wearing as a tube ... All in all- FABULOUS skirt- very cute, nice material, the stripes add interest, and very flattering overall, which is hard to do sometimes with my curves! Totally worth it!

Great ...
This is my favorite ... my best find from Athleta. It is very comfortable and flattering. I love the stylish stripes. They don't make me look fat at all. I hesitate sometimes with stripes but this is very flattering. I usually wear a 10 in skirts and went with the Med. I was not disappointed. I wish they had it in more colors.

I absolutely love Athleta's skirts and this one is no exception! It is made of very comfortable, loose (but not too loose) fabric that swings with you as you walk or dance. Very comfortable for travel and packs well.

Soft and Different
Two things I like in these knit style skirts. Quality fabric so it doesn't stretch out and look cheap and interesting seams or fabric. This has both! I really liked the stripe look and the seaming is flattering so it hangs well. A cool, unique ... hot summers.

not sure if I should keep it...
I bought this ... because it was very cute and available in tall lengths (I'm 6'), and I prefer to wear skirts in the warm weather. I also have a 6 month baby at home, and the ... long enough that I can get on the floor with him and play without risk of being indecent. I was very happy with how the ... fit when it arrived, and washed it prior to the first wear. The metal cap on the end of the drawstring got stuck on a dryer sheet in the dryer and ended up getting mangled and tore. I called customer service, and they were very kind and offered to exchange it for a new one. I got the new ... today, and washed it. The same thing happened again in the dryer (without a dryer sheet this time)! The metal cap pulled off the end of the drawstring, but the drawstring is so twisted and frayed it is unwearable in its current condition. I'm debating trying to come up with a fix myself, vs. returning the ... good...

Nice kicky ...
I actually bought this for work and, in reading the reviews, it has a nice fit ... can be a little long (skirts that hit the knee make ... legs look heavy since I have fairly muscley calves.) I'm a ... 16 with a 32" inseam, so I purchased this in a ... Large Petite and it's perfect! Not too tight or too loose and it hits just above the knee for the most flattering fit. The pocket in back is cute and a good idea. If you don't like the look of it, just wear a shirt or sweater that covers it.

Love this ... can be worn all day in perfect comfort....shopping, working, leisure time. I chose one ... larger than I usually wear, but it does run true to ... could have ordered ... regular ... still been extremely pleased.

Great casual ...
I got this ... summer wear and perhaps for teaching in the fall. I really like the fit and the fabric. I am very thin (5'5", 105 lbs) and NOTHING ever fits me. But it appears Athleta's XXS sizes fit me. (Their ... 0 does NOT fit; like everywhere else, Athleta's ... 0 is actually more like a ... 2 of yesteryear). Anyway, this has a nice soft A line, small waist, and the length is right to ... knee. The quality is good too: Soft strong fabric, double stitching at the hem, and a little pocket.

Complementary
Wore this ... just about everyday on my trip to Barcelona. Low maintenance--easy to throw on with any shirt, and was very complementary. FYI, the sueded fabric makes the ... look very casual (almost like a pajama material). Everyone says that Barcelona is the worst pickpocketing city in Europe so that hidden little zipper in the back to stick in some cash and a credit card was a huge plus! Thank you, Athleta, for making travel a breeze!

Uber comfortable and soft ...
The cut of this ... super flattering and feminine. I'm 5'5" , 116 lbs, 27" waist, 37" hip and got ... small. I also tried, XS, XS petite, and S petite, but the small regular had the best length and drape. The other sizes were either too short or didn't drape as nicely on me. The ... small hits right above the knee cap. This ... so soft and light weight that I can barely feel it's there. Seriously. Gem blue color is gorgeous.

have one in 3 different colors!
I LOVE this ... So much so that I bought it in 3 colors. It feels comfortable around ... hips. It does not ride up or slip down. I looks great with flip flops, sandals, etc. It washes incredbily well. I bought this one in brown in a ... small about 1 year ago and I do have to say that the sizes seem to have gotten smaller. I bought 2 more this season in a ... small and they fit, but the stiching seems to be a tad tighter. I will stilll keep them b/c a medium would probably be toobig. I am a US ... 6.

Awesome ...
I was in need of skirts because I broke ... ankle (while training for the Boston Marathon) and could not get any pants or jeans over ... cast. The ... darling, has a cute shape with the panels, and everyone who sees it asks me where I got it. I purchased 3 of the Bodega ... different colors. The ... can be ... up or down, is extremely comfortable and best of all, is machine washable and dryable (which ... husband likes since he is doing the laundry now); it comes out of the dryer looking brand new & no wrinkles. The ... runs true to ... if you are not sure whether to order smaller or larger, go with the smalller ... because the ... has a lot of give to it. It is an awesome ...

Casual and flattering; thanks for XXS
I was thrilled to finally find a white ... summer that fit me. I'm 5 ft 3 inches tall, about 100 lbs, and right in the XXS measurement range in bottoms. I have a boyish figure with very little curvature in the hip, and skirts often drop a few inches on me even if I buy the smallest ... great fit! Do be aware that there is a significant length variation of this ... - the petite XXS is only about 18 inches long while the regular XXS is about 20 inches long (i.e. the length decreases at least 2 inches from medium to XXS). I ended up returning the petite XXS (which was like a mini ... keeping the regular XXS, which fell a little above the knee on me, or even higher if I wanted to pull the ... up. The shape of the ... very flattering with a flat or a heeled shoe, even on me who often looks matronly and frumpy in skirts despite ... small ... ruching at the waist is great if you want to add some curves and probably not so great if you want to suppress them. The white ... definitely requires a slip, although this wasn't an issue for me as I have an appropriate one already.

First purchase
This ... first purchase at Athleta. I was looking for a flippy basic ... take with me on summer travels. After reading other reviews I thought I should go up a ... got the large tall. It was to BIG, reodered and recieved the med tall - it fits perfectly, get the ... would usually wear at GAP.I like the length- at knee- and the material- like a summer weight suede. Thank You for making tall sizes! I am 5"11 and have athletic pear shape body and this ... looks good.

Very comfy ...
I always order tall sizes, and ordered a Tall Medium in this ... found it to be too long, plus too big in the waist. Exchanged it for a regular small, and it fits perfectly. Very comfortable and versatile, and I know I'll get a lot of use out of this ...

fabulous fall/winter ...
I have purchased several summer dresses from Athleta and this is ... first winter ... not disappointed. Their clothes fit me perfectly. The material is so soft and high quality. I always order a Medium and they fit every time. I am 5'7" and typically wear a ... 8. I have a small chest (36A). This ... fit me up top ... would not fit someone with a larger than a full B chest in ... opinion. The band across the bottom of the chest would cut a larger cup ... half. The rest of the ... draped nicely and the length fell just above the knee. I also loved that the sleeves were long enough.. Overall a beautiful ... well worth the money.

Perfect versatile ...
I work from home so I wear dresses almost every day because they're easy and still look like I put a little effort into ... appearance. I have been looking for an easy fall/winter ... PLUS we're going to Europe for 2 weeks and I wanted something that could be packed and work for travel too. This ... fits all of those buckets! The only thing I'd say is I ordered 2 different colors. One came and it was perfect. The other's sleeves were about 1 inch shorter. I exchanged it for a different ... same color and same ... - and the replacement ... sleeves are longer. I am 5'5" and 120 lbs and the small fits perfectly. LOVE IT!

Satisfied once again
This ... great. I feel like a broken record, ... Athleta gets a big PLUS in ... book. Everything I have ordered from work out clothes, to ... work wardrobe, and everyday wearing has fit perfectly, love the fabrics, washability, and comfort. Would like to see more sales though!!!

Great everyday ...
I love this ... mallard blue color is very pretty. When it arrived and I tried it I didn't even ask ... husband for an opinion ... he instantly smiled and raved about how great it was. Very flattering and true to ... usually wear an XS in Athleta tops and dresses and it fits great. You might want to ... up if you are big busted ( I am not) though due to the cut through the chest. Looks cute with leggings and boots for a casual look.

Cute casual ...
I own 2 of these (in sleeveless) and just decided to try the long sleeve version. It fits exactly the same as the sleeveless ... chest is just a tad snug (I'm a 34C) ... have that problem with the sleeveless dresses, too. The next ... up is huge. I'm 5'7" 125 lbs and wear the ... Small. I got this on sale, so I'm happy. Probably wouldn't pay full price for it because I don't know how often I'll wear it. The blue is really pretty - slightly more purple in person than on ... computer.

seniorita ...
It took a couple tries to get ... right. I usually wear small or ... 6, I am 5'6' and 130lbs. The small was too short (mid thigh) and fit to high and tight across chest. So I tried medium which was huge around and come all the way to ... knees. There was a huge difference beween sizes. So then I tried small tall and it worked great. The seams on the chest were in the right places and the length was just a few inches above the knee. This is the second time I've gone with a tall in an athleta ... I'm really not that tall. If you have a long body or just don't like to show too much thigh it might work for you. The berry color ... first choice) is a nice deep plum- not too purpley, ... no longer available. The velvetgreen is a great color also not really green, ... teal in color. Very soft material. Substantial material too (not too thin- don't show panty, bra lines)

very pretty ... short in the bust
yes this is a pretty ... other reviewers stated it is short in the bust line. I have to keep pulling it down. I'm 5'5" with 36 B/C bust - very average and well proportioned. i'm keeping the dres. It's so pretty I can deal with fussing with it once in a while PLUS no one else notices its slight flaw

I am on the border of a 14-16, and was disappointed that the ... too small. Even with Spanx tights, I can't wear it, and will have to return it. Otherwise I loved the color and it looks great with tights and boots. I really wished it would fit. If you can, order the next ... up. I wish it came in the plus ... would get the next ... up myself.

Sizing is wacky
I want to love this ... material is great, stretchy ... heavy - doesn't show panty & bra lines, is not clingy. It arrived yesterday and I tossed it on over leggings to wear to work today. The length of the arms and ... great and overall the ... fitted ... not tight. ... - As suggested by others, the bust is just plain weird! I have pretty muscular arms for ... not a large (34B) chest. The ... fits ... arms and shoulders nicely and is somewhat loose ... not baggy) around the bustline. However, the actual bust area is very small, and because the ... isn't super tight everywhere else, the under bust seaming keeps riding up on me. I don't know whether I should ... down because if it were tighter, the stretch would certainly accommodate ... meager chest, or ... up so the chest area is bigger? ARGH. I also wonder if the sizing is inconsistent, based upon all the comments that the fit is too small - I have several other Athleta dresses, always S, XS is way too small and M is generally too big around the ribcage.

Frumpy McFrumperton
I was really excited to try this ... seemed from the reviews to be very flattering on smaller busts, and I'm always looking for a nice quality ... wear during the cooler months. I ordered this ... two different colors, both in a Regular XS, which is ... normal ... wear 98% of the time. (For reference, I'm 5'4", 110, 34 less than-A; I'm that in between height where sometimes I can wear petites, ... sometimes they're too short.) Both dresses fit in a similar way, so at least the quality control is consistent. However, the arms were too long and baggy, the upper torso was too tight across (from shoulder to shoulder), the waist was too big, and the ... stiff and overly flared out from the too big waist. I was really sad to see that all of these things combined made the ... look really frumpy on me. The only part that was actually flattering was the rouched bust, which fit perfectly, with the empire waistband hitting just below. One upside is the fabric -- a smooth, thick, stretchy cotton jersey, very nice quality. Maybe the petite XS would have fit me better; I don't know. I didn't sufficiently like how this style looked on me to warrant exchanging for a different ... though, so I just returned both dresses.

Not For Me
There are so many conflicting reviews for this ... Some say too tight, others say too loose, etc. I listened to the too tight camp and ordered a ... up (S instead of XS) and it was too big--it did nothing for ... small frame. Made me look very frumpy. I can't imagine the XS being anymore flattering. Oddly, it was also too long (a strange length really) and I'm 5'9", and I ordered a regular not tall. On the plus side, this ... sooo comfortable. It felt like a nightgown (and kind of looked like one too!).

This ... awesome! I looked at this ... few weeks, so I was psyched when it went on sale. After reading the reviews I was a little unsure which size to get - I tried both small and XS- I decided to keep the XS, it fits perfectly so hopefully I stay this size! I'm 5'5" 118-120 lbs. It was a little tight at the chest, but I'm nursing a baby so my size is a little generous. The small fit fine also, but had a little more room in the arm pit and waist that just made it look a little less finished. The neck line is very flattering. I wore the ... work last week it was SO comfortable and I was showered with complements all day. Definatley recommend to anyone!

Perfect ...
This is a great sweater ... neckline is beautiful and it fits well and true to size. I run a size S in tops and a size M in bottoms so I ordered the M in this ... It's perfect and flattering in the right places. As stated in other reviews, the material is thin, but it's a nice quality fabric. I like it because I can easily wear a wool coat over it in the winter.

Flattering Sweater ...
I love this ... have looked for 2 years for the perfect sweater ... my search is finally over!! I read all the other reviews trying to determine the best size for my body type. My measurements are 34DD- 28-37 and I am 5 foot 5 inches tall, with a broad back. I was torn between the Small or Med, by the reviews, so I called cust. service and they suggested the Med. The size medium fits me perfectly and I love the gray color! Only negative, I will have to wait for cooler weather to wear it.

THE little black ... every closet should have!
LOVE this ... 5' 7" 120 lbs and have the black in XXS. Fits gorgeously and is incredibly versatile. I've worn it with boots and sweater tights to the ski mountain, then turned around and ... up with heels for a work conference. Simply cannot go wrong with this. My new favorite ...
This replaces the Durango ... my favorite fall/winter ... amazingly flattering! I am 5'6, 125 lbs, curvy (38-25-38), but built very narrow and fit. I am more hourglass than straight from the front/back view, but where I'm super curvy is the profile view (shelves in the front and back). Because of this, I generally wear a size 2 ... almost any brand. The XS fit me perfect - somewhat fitted, but not snug at all. It does show curves, but is still classy. I have had to size down in many other Athleta dresses, but did not have to in this one. I have worn it with short boots and tights, and it would also look great with taller boots or flats. I have the gem blue color (it's gorgeous) and am considering either the black or grey for my next purchase.

My wife looked HOT!!!
Well, I purchased the ... birthday present for my wife. Last Saturday she wore it for the first time and she looked amazing. Yes, she was HOT! The ... well made and fits to her shape. She is a petite size and the ... did not come in a petite size, however, the XS size worked well for her and she loves the ... Ladies, get your husband or boy friend to buy this ... - he will not regret it and neither will you.

I ordered a size XS - I am 5'6" 125, 36-27-36 (I don't think I would normally wear a size XS which is why I'm stating weight and measurements.) This size fits perfectly. It's thinner than I expected, but not soo thin that you would need to wear a slip. I love that you can ... up or down. So excited to wear it!!

Very nice ...
I really like this ... had been browsing the selection of sweater dresses for a long time before deciding on this one. I do agree with the other reviewers with regards to their comments that this ... shows every lump, bump, and fat roll. I am 5'5" and 124lbs so I dont have that many- but those that I do- show. I can easily correct this with a good pair of tights or some shapewear underneath. This is my only complaint w the ... reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. If I was heavier, I do not think I would like this ... all. I did not find the fabric itchy, and the length seemed just right. I plan to wear this to a friend's party and also use it for the office. My only other issue is that I wish the red color came in regular sizes. When I ordered the ... available only in the plus size.

Wow
This ... looks fantastic on the model, and it looks good on me too. I tend toward a thick waist and have small hips. This ... emphasizes your arms, butt, and collarbones, and makes your chest look a little bigger (a plus for me). I will wear it to work and to go out in the winter. I have it in black, which looks great. I would love to see it in an earthy tone as well.

cute sweater ...
This ... really cute and super comfortable. I'm 5'3", 125 lbs and my legs are on the muscular size. I always order a Medium in Athleta even though I am a size 4 or 6 in most clothings because I cannot stand for anything to cling or be tight. The medium in this sweater ... wasn't too tight like some sweater dresses can tend to be and didn't cling to my thighs or butt. Hooray for this ...

The Sochi Sweater ... awesome! I usually order size small but in this I ordered a medium. I am 5' 5'' 125 lbs with more hips than I care to admit. Sweater dresses usually do not fit my body style b/c of my larger hips. This one, however, hits the mark (as far as size). Now...the reason I gave it only 3 stars---the material is thin and makes it feel pretty cheap. The style is great, but the material definitely puts a different swing on it. I got the ... sale price. If I would have paid full price for this ... regardless of how much I liked it, I would have sent it back because of the cheap material. I am not sure how they justify [$] for this ...

Wonderful ... anytime
Athleta dresses are perfect winter dresses with boots. I'm usually a size 6-8, 5'7" and 145 lbs, the medium fits perfectly. This ... easy care, very comfortable, dressy enough for an office but casual enough for anytime. I have longer arms/bigger shoulders and I love that the sleeves are long enough for me. Cold winters would not be a problem in these dresses, they are so cozy. Love it!!

Highly Versatile Winter ...
I purchased the Warming Hut ... prior to a winter vacation in the very cold and frozen north; I was not sorry. It fits true to size (check your measurements prior to ordering); I am 5' 6" and 140 lbs. and ordered the medium -- fits perfectly and doesn't bag or sag or pull anywhere. It is fitted without being tight. The sleeves are a tad too long for my taste but I tend to push them back so I didn't ding the ... typically wear the ... cami, tights, and boots if I'm out and at home with capri or ankle length tights and flats. The ... washes and dries easily (follow the care instructions), packs and travels like a dream and is cozy warm with a gentle fleece lining. It's perfect for just about anything and you'll feel like a million bucks wearing it. I would buy a second one just to have on hand and would love a few extra color choices.

Love It!
I really wanted this ... so excited when it arrived yesterday. I expected to like it, but in fact I LOVE it! The ... even nicer than I anticipated. The material is thick, well made, and SO soft and warm. The inside has a light layer of brushed fleece which feels like pajamas against the skin. I think the zippers and pockets are cute and will be very useful. I love that I can wear the neck zippered all the way up or zipped down to expose a camisole or shirt underneath, if I want to change up the look. This will be a warm and cozy ... without any additional layers, and with a turtleneck or shirt under it, this will stand up to the coldest weather, I believe. My complain with this ... Senorita ... which I ordered at the same time, is the length. First, I am 5'4", 113 lbs, with a 34A chest. My legs are short for my height, and my shoulders a broad for my cup size, so I am never quite sure whether I should order a S or an XS, Regular or Petite length. I ordered the black (very nice) in this ... Small Regular length size. I think the XS might have worked, too, since this ... cut a little more generously than the Senorita ... but I am very pleased with the Small and think it's perfect for me. I was hoping the length might be a little shorter, maybe, but this is actually quite good -- it falls to just above my knee, about an inch. I am happy as long as it doesn't hit the knee or go below it! The length worked, but it was NOT as advertised in the catalogue or on site. BE WARNED! The Regular length (in medium) is supposed to be 38 inches. I measured the ... myself, from the shoulder to the hem, and the total length is, in fact, a little bit longer then 35 inches, about 35 and a third inches long for the Regular length in Small. Would there really be such a big difference between a Small and Medium in length? Anyway, the shorter length turned out to be perfect for me, but consider that whatever you order might be shorter than expected. FYI, my Regular length Sunset ... fits me the same way my Petite Small Senorita ... fits me -- i.e., the length on that Regular must be about 32 inches.

This ... makes me feel like a superhero
I love this ... am a plus size and so I was a bit nervous about fit, but it has been great.. The sleeves are long, but As a taller person I like it. I really like the little sleeve pocket. It is great for a credit card when making a coffee run. It is very warm. It is more a winter late fall ... wear it with tights a a light tee shirt underneath. It is great. don' be fooled by it's blah appearance when you take it out of the package, once you put it on you feel like a superhero.

LOVE IT
Am so happy with this ... am 5'9 and a size 8 and always wear mediums in Athleta dresses and skirts, and this didn't dissappoint. It is very soft and fuzzy inside and will be great to wear for anything in our cold WI winter! Will be great for traveling, doesn't look like it will wrinkle.

So warm and cute
I just got this ... love it. I'm 5' 6," 125 lbs., and usually a size 4; I like my dresses well above the knee, so I ordered a petite small. It fits great; very sporty and youthful looking, and SO warm. That's a plus for someone living in Vermont. The only drawback with ordering a petite is that now the empire waist comes up a little bit too high. With the right bra, though, I can prevent it sliding up while I'm wearing it, so it should be fine. I can't wait to wear this to work with patterned tights and tall boots.

My winter go to ...
This is the beginning of a beautiful relationship! This ... super cozy and warm, but when paired with a simple scarf, it appears that I fussed over my outfit. I wasn't sure if the material and design worked for me since its a little bit on the futuristic looking side, but my husband assured me that its a nice look. I am on the larger side - 5'4", 150 lbs, and my regular clothing size is typically a large top and size 10 regular or 12 petite pant size. This ... petite large fits me perfectly, and the material is thick enough to not show bra lines or the outline of my tights waistband. The pockets on my ... sewn quite flat and do not have an awkward appearance. I do not have any complaints about this ... so far.

On the fence-
I love the look and feel of this ... I'm not sold on the fit. I'm 5'7" 124 lbs with med/full bust and slight post baby pouch. Overall it fit, but I wouldn't call it flattering on me. I ordered a S and wondering if XS might fit better. Despite having a decent bust, it made me look flat chested/no waist- the fabric just seemed to drop straight down from my bust which is why I'm thinking the smaller size might do the trick. Or, this one just might not be for me. But here's hoping the smaller size works b/c I see myself LIVING in this ... winter!

Took a couple of trys
I originally ordered this in a regular size because I recently ordered a skirt that was too short in petite. However, this ... pretty true to size, so if you need petite normally, get the petite. I found it was a little tight in the shoulders, even in the regular size that I ordered first. I wear between a 0-2 in their skirts and ended up getting a Small Petite which worked well.

Didn''t fit well enough and I tried...
I'm 5'5" and about 135, with hips, long inseam and somewhat short waisted. I ordered a size small. The shoulders and hips fit perfectly. The torso fit too large and gaped at both the front and the lower back. The length was too long, hitting just below the knee. I think that if I were longer waisted, the torso would have draped more nicely and I may have kept the ... would have needed to get it hemmed, however, as the overall length was unflattering. I really like the color of the green ... fabric is a nice, thick technical material with a soft fleece lining. If the fit had been better for my figure, I would have kept it, I'm sure!

Too Big...
I mostly wear a size Large in Athleta gear, but this was too big-- especially in the ribs and I had to return. I may end up getting a different size, however, I think I'm going to opt for one of the sweater dresses!
