Plus ... update
Okay, I have tested these ... out day after day at the gym and they are amazing. The seams are still in tact and there is no pilling anywhere on them, including between the thighs. I actually ordered another pair in olive in a 1X and they fit fine. They do attract lint when you wash them (only the solid colors really), but a lint roller can easily rectify that. I have to say that the price tag may be well worth it. I have ... cheaper stores out there that were 1/4th of the price and after a few wears, they look like it. My kickbooty ... still turning heads at the gym. Imagine that, lol!!!

Cool looking and great feeling
I'm wearing them right now. So comfortable and perfect for early morning yoga. But then I don't get around to changing out of them because they are so comfy, make me look and feel so svelte. My husband jokingly commented that he's not sure he wants me wearing these around town where other men will see me. :) I plan to get another set (kickbooty plus racerback top, which is also comfy).

I just love these!
I love the Kickbooty pants! I own three of these and will most likely add more. Beware that you might want to order up a size. I have an athletic build (strong glutes) and had to go with Medium, although my usual size is Small (or size 4) for almost all pants. By comparison, I have the Kickbooy Tech Stretch pants in Small and they are borderline loose on me! I'm 5'6'' and 120 pounds. I can fit into the Small just fine, but I don't like my pants too tight. The thighs on these pants run small as well, so I feel most comforatble in Meduim, and they look oh so good! I have these in black and asphalt, both are great. The quality is excellent and I recommend these pants highly.

comfort plus! Love the fit, look, and works well running and weight lifting! Would be a 5 star except they are a little short for me. I am 5' 9" . Maybe they have a tall length that I should have got?

I really like these pants and the material. It was a real plus that there were colors to choose from other than black or grey.

Plus ...
Wow. I was very reluctant to purchase these because I thought $79 was way too much for a workout ... However, these seem fantastic. I haven't worn them out yet, but I'll update when I do. They do have a seam between the legs, for which I will need time and multiple uses to determine whether it is an issue or not. The fabric is mid weight and will probably make you sweat a little in the gym or outside. I do love that the pants have lots of lycra, and the thick material pulls you in a bit. I usually size down when wearing work out gear, but these run true to size. I can usually wear an XL, but I ordered these in 2x since I'm a size 22-24 and they fit perfectly. There is no visible cellulite while wearing these, but your shape is visible. I didn't find the rise to be low at all. I think it's mid to high, depending on your height. I'm 5'2", so it was high on me- just above my belly button. I usually wear a regular inseam, so the length was fine for me. I do think that these will last a long time and will not pill between the legs, but I'll update since I am trying to lose weight and go to the gym at least 4 times a week. I purchased the black heather and the dress blue. Both look as pictured. Of course the solid colors have a slightly different consistency and texture than the black heather, but both are about the same weight and thickness. I am excited to see where these pants take me. ;)

Nice ... but too long
I'm 5'2, and I would have normally ordered a petite size but based on other people's reviews about the petite ... being too short, and the regular ... shrinking to a perfect length in the wash, I ordered the XS Regular. Well, I just washed them, and they didn't shrink, so these ... pretty darn long on me. Other than that, they fit every other area like a glove.

I wear these pants 1-2 times per week for Zumba. They move with me very well, no bunching or binding. I like that when the fabric is streched, you can't see through it. We get quite warm in zumba, but these pants do not show any sweat marked areas. The cut of the ... flattering to the booty, I have recieved several compliments, plus have been asked "Where do you get your pants?". My only request; I would LOVE to have these pants available in a straight leg style.

Impressed
Loved the style and material which will give you a snug (in a good way) fit if you get the right size. I found the size in the waist and hip ran a little large, so had to exchange for one size smaller. I'm accustomed to the ... Adidas and UnderArmour and found I take one size smaller in Athleta pants. Loved the quality though, and have ordered more now that i have the size issue figured out..

good, yet...
I bought two pairs of the Kick Booty pants at the same time: same size, each pair. It's the first time I've tried this style; in the past I've purchased the Chaturanga and Bettona Classic styles. I continue to buy Athleta's ... styles because I like the cut and styling offered, They are comfortable for a range of activities, yet still look good enough to wear out and about. However, I do have one consistent dissatisfaction: the garments do not have consistency even in the exact same style and size. For example, in these two same size pants ordered at the exact same time, one pair is a whole inch wider in the leg width than the other. In previous purchases, this was also the case: wider in the leg, or longer in the leg, or difference in waist size, or in the rise, among purchases of the same style and size. Come on, Athleta - how difficult can it be to insure that these quite pricey garments are cut and sewn so that one can rely upon a consistent fit? I have noticed many other reviews stating this fact over and over, and it seems that the comments are not taken seriously: a different standard of practice hasn't shown up even after several years of comments from many customers. This is a frustrating thing; I really hope that "Quality Control" can be addressed and improved upon.

I really wanted to love these pants...everything about them were great...except the length...I'm barely 5'2" at 112 lbs. and with a low tennis shoe these were high waters...they needed to be another 2 to 2.5 inches longer...I returned them but won't be getting the 2 regular because I will have to hem them and it's just not worth it for the price I'm already paying...the fit was absolutlely wonderful through my hips, backside, and waist but the length I just couldn't live with plus I don't want to keep sending wrong fits back and pay [$] everytime...I can't believe Athleta charges for returns...shame shame shame....

Great looking pant.
I"m 5'8, 146 pounds. Medium Tall fits me perfectly. I like the color, Black Heather. These pocketed pants are perfect for travel. They are comfortable and look good upon arrival for sight seeing and going out to eat. Pockets are a plus. And yes, they are great yoga and workout wear. Washed in cold water and noted no shrinkage. You cannot go wrong.

Great fit!
I couldn't wait to receive these pants because of all the awesome reviews. I'm 5' 2" and 134 pounds ~and still losing ~ ;) I bought the black in Petite Small and they are a perfect fit. They just seem to conform to my body and look great, and hides all those little flaws! Plus sometimes petite can be too short...not these, they are perfect o! Thanks Athleta!!! Can't wait to get the Heather Gray which are on backorder.

Awesome pants
I ordered a size M after looking at the size chart and other reviews, they were too big. I am 5'3'' and weigh 130 with athletic build. Size small was perfect. I thought about ordering Petite for shorter length but the regular length is "just a bit" too long but I can get by without having to alter them. You will love these pants!

nice look
Although I think they technically run true to size, if you want the look of the model size down. The legs and rear are a bit fuller in these than the photo reflects. I don't think they are form fitting at all so if you like the way it looks online go down a size, if you want some hang/modesty go true to size. Having back pockets is a nice change at the gym !

SO darn comfortable
These are the most comfortable pants for golf or anything you want to do. No tightness around the waist. No binding. They give and they move with you in whatever you do. Plus they look like regular jeans. The best part is that there is no bulk, no zipper fly. . just a smooth profile under your tops.

Slimming, butt lifting pant!
Love these, just got them the AM of our trip to CA. I whipped off my blue jeans and put these on as my husband was loading the car with our luggage. I came out of the house he took one look at me and said " WOW" those pants are awesome, your butt looks great, thighs look slimming and you should definately order more. My head was spinning....all those compliments plus, I wore them on the plane was super comfortable all day. I also wore them to dinner the next night with a fancy top and heels! gotta love these pants, I got home and ordered two more pair online. Needless to say, I just washed these and they still look great. I recommend washiing in cold water with Woolite and line drying, also wash inside out. They are a bit pricey, but if you take good care of them and wash in COLD water they will probably last a long time. Well, thats my two cents, hope it helps you make your decision.

Great ... but runs big
I am 5'7" and 148#. Based on reviews and size guide, I got medium (says size 8-10) regular length. They are so loose that I need to jack them up, which makes them too short. I guess I will return fnor the small even though it says for size 4-6, probably small tall will be right.

Lots of compliments on these
I had been looking for a pair of workout pants that I could wear while running the kids to school, stopping by the grocery store, all before hitting the running trail or elliptical. Of course I do that in my regular workout bottoms but with the pockets and stitching, these can almost pass as everyday bottoms. Many people ask me about them so I guess I'm not the only one who likes the idea! Things to note, that I couldn't exactly tell ahead of time, is that the material is thinner than you might think, and the material really IS pretty stretchy. They run on the larger size. I'm 5'10" and usually wear a size 14 but I had to return the XL size and go down to a L. Something to keep in mind. Also, I wear these running but they do have a bootleg so that might not suit everyone. All in all, they are a great addition to my workout wardrobe.

In Love
The pants are great! I ordered long length which may have been a bit too much but with cloggs or boots they are excellent. I wear them just like jeans. I can dress them up or just wear around the house. Plus, I'm pregnant and can see rocking these for quite some time! The fabric is great not too tight not too loose by any means.

Is there such a thing as a tall skinny person?
I really wanted a new pair of comfortable pants for traveling. I was so excited to find these. At 5'8" and about 118 lbs I was also excited to see that they had longs. That was until I realized that their size small is meant for a size 4 and they decided that making XS Tall wasn't necessary. For a company that is all about athletes (which I am) I find it incredibly frustrating that they wouldn't take this into consideration. I know plenty of tall/skinny runners such as myself. It also begs the question what size were the models in the magazine wearing? Do they actually make XS Talls but only for them? I kept the pants which are basically falling off of me because they were soft and exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately unlike the sleek look I was going for the word that comes to mind when you look at them is baggy and bumbish. It'd be nice if Athleta would take into consideration it's market.

Best Yoga ... Ever
I've purchased quite a few different yoga ... past few years and the Chaturanga ... far my favorite. I'm short (5'3'') and very curvy, so the large petite is the perfect ... length for barefoot yoga sessions and walking to class in the winter in MN without getting my ... dirty. The material feels amazing, like no matter how much I sweat I wouldn't notice in these. They don't roll over at the waist when bending either, huge plus. I love these pants...would highly recommend for anyone looking for a yoga or work out ... Worth the money!

I just got these ... absolutely awesome I didnt think that clothing affected my practice but after wearing less quality ... after wearing these...it DOES matter. I love them and now I am replacing all of y yoga wear with ... AWESOME!!

Incredible yoga ...
These are the most incredible yoga pants--they fit like a dream: rise is just high enough, waist band elastic is perfect and ... make my butt look great (my daughter keeps telling me every time I wear ... ordered the Large in the longs since I am 5'11" and 175 lbs. ... fit perfectly. Ordered the gray first and was so impressed also ordered the black. ... plenty long, which is a plus for me--I'm always facing ... too short so generous length is a welcome change. Oddly, the black pair is a couple of inches longer than the gray pair (after a couple of washings each). But both are long enough for me so its all good. The fabric is absolutely great--heavier and silky to the touch and gives some good support without being confining. There is a little key pocket on the inside of the waistband which is an added bonus. I don't believe the product description mentioned that.

Great for tall plus ...
Love, love, love this ... one other ... ordered from Athleta. My problem is that I'm 5'8", long inseam and a ... 3x. I ordered the 2x and did not know if it would stretch enough or be long enough. It did both. Whew! Although a true 2x, this ... able to stretch enough to fit me without compromising the length. The material and stitching are holding up great to all the stretch I put them through. The ... fit great over my ample assets (no backside showing) and smooths everything. Also, I love that the ... stay put when I'm stretching and doesn't expose my calves when my legs are in the air.

better than expexted
Just got these ... last week and ... have moved into my favorite work out ... position. As a plus ... can be hard finding good, functional, and attractive work out clothes. These have everything that a girl could want. The waist lays flat and it not binding. The material is slightly thinner than most of my other ones, so it kept me cooler. ... wicked remarkably well in my hot yoga class...the only possible downfall could be the length. I am 5'8" and ... drag the floor in bare feet. ... have not gotten in the way, but it could be a problem for someone that has short legs.

This is my first time purchasing from athleta. I ordered an xs petite. I am 5ft tall, 103 lbs, 24in waistline and 30.5in hips. Four stars because it was just a tad bit lose in the thigh and leg area, but everything else fit well. Length was perfect even with tennis shoes. I might try xxs on my next order. I went to the gym today and tested how these ... hold up to my sweaty workouts. Did an 80 minute cardio session plus 15 minutes in the dry sauna :) No embarrassing signs of sweat showing( my ... atleast) :). Fabric is great and I'm very impressed! :)

At last Plus ...
I love these pants,I'm 5'10, and a plus ... 18 or 20, so I have a hard time finding ... cary my weight in my stomach, and have smaller hips and thinner legs, so often ... fit in the waist are huge on my hips and legs. These ... fitted perfectly for my frame, they feel snug and flattering for the gym and or yoga. The rise is great too so I dont feel they will fall down too often. Really happy, The length is right for my height too- so happy to have finally spent money on good yoga ...

Nice overall
I normally take a ... 8 in Levi's. For these, I had to get an XL. Once I got the ... figured out, they look slimming on me, so that's a plus. I think I would like the lower legs if they weren't quite so flared. They are comfortable.
