plus size ski pants - reviews

Update
My previous review mentioned a size 4 but it was a size 2 I purchased & I'm 5'4" 115 lbs. It does stretch out & is slightly long if wearing boots without a 1" heel regardless I love this pants more than expected. No worries the bottom hem got dirty but they cleaned up beautifully & still look new. I look forward to wearing them, they keep me warm & dry.

Great Cold Weather Pants
I just got these pants today and they are fantastic. The fit is perfect, true to ... length is perfect too. They have a nice weight to them. Will be great for walking or snowshoeing in the winter. Comfortable and stylish. Love them!

Snow Cruiser ...
Very happy with my recent purchase of the Snow Cruiser ... always a challenge for me to find pants that fit right...I've got asmall waist in relationto my hips and a long rise. These pants size 4 fit wonderful...not too tight anywhere! Very comfortable to move around in...feels very natural. I'm 5'7" and the length is perfect!!!

love these!
I bought these to walk on the beach all winter long in Michigan. It can be brutal weather and I think these will hold up nicely. I also plan to use them as cold weather fishing pants. I ordered a size up so I could add long johns if needed, but otherwise they are true to size - they are long but I suppose this is good if you are using them for skiing.

Great pants!
I love the way these pants make my backside look! I am 5'11" and weigh about 160. I ordered a size 12 and they fit perfectly. I get laid off for four months in the winter so they will get worn a lot for snowshoeing and skiing. They are fleecey on the inside and the outer material sheds water. I am not sure how they will handle in heavy wet snow, but I will know in another month, can't wait!

great ski ...
For the reviewer that said these don't work in the North.... I just wore these for a couple days of skiing in Vermont. I wore them with an ultra thin base underneath and felt absolutely no cold and no wind... even on the lifts and it was 10F degree weather and 15-20mph winds. These ... great... not bulky, warm, etc.

Winter first
I bought these in a size 14 in black and I agree'd with the reviews I had read, that the price tag was high when you see the plastic buttons on the side of the leg. however, they fit great and i ordered the gray ... size 12 (lucky me) which looks better with the plastic buttons.

Great winter ...
I got a size 8 Tall for myself (5'10", 150 lb) and a size 4 Tall for my daughter (5'9", 122 lb). Mine fit perfectly. Great length in the tall...I have a 34" inseam, and my 15-year old has a 35" inseam...It is SO hard to find pants with a long enough inseam! I knew the size 4 would be large for my daughter, but it was the smallest size available in Talls. The great thing is that they have elastic with buttons on the inside of the waist, so she was able to cinch the waist in all the way to fit well. She really liked them. We didn't end up skiing in them, but we both wore them to hike and play in the snow. They are very flattering, and I would highly recommend these pants for the snow.

Very Pleased
Thanks to all the reviewers, I was able to know what to expect when they got here and they rock. They fit like they were made for me and I'm glad they don't come in more colors because then I would want more than one pair!. I'm 5/4 and 110 lbs and I ordered the ... 0 and they fit perfectly. I was worried they would be too short/too long but they are perfect. This is my first order from Athleta and I must say I am very impressed with the quality. I will be using these pants to go snowshoeing.

I like the ... but have to return as they are not quite what I need for downhill skiing. Would like something a little more waterproof.

New favorite winter outdoor ...
I got these just before Xmas and have worn them downhill skiing 5 days so far. They are perfect for the hardpack snow conditions we've been suffering through this year. They are equally great for cross country skiing, ice skating or just walking in cold weather. They are cozy and warm, seem pretty wind proof, and are cut much trimmer and more flattering than typical snow ... have not yet had the chance to see how ... work in very wet conditions, but ... seem reasonably waterproof. The lining is very soft and the exterior is slippery. My one wish is that ... had inner snow cuffs for the powder skiing that I hope will still be in store for us this season.
