So cute... but what''s with that strange drawstring in the waist PLUS a zipper and snaps?
I just love this cute pinwale cord ... wasn't certain it would fit since I have a little junk in the trunk but it did! I have come to wearing ... late in life (60 years old) and could not wait for it to go on sale so I bought it anyway. I love everything about it EXCEPT.... it has a very strange inner drawstring in the waist. If it was only the drawstring to cinch it up that would have been fine. But it also has a zipper and snaps so if you tighten the drawstring it tends to have a big gap at the waist in the front. Not the best look. Because it runs large in the waist I will probably have it taken in.And remove that pesky drawstring.

Love your skirts in general. Happy to have the carefree style in cords that will look great with boots, loafers, or whatever! Soft and forgiving material is a plus.

This is a great ... cooler weather! It looks perfect with a turtleneck, tights and boots and the fabric is a very soft, medium weight. The Oregano color is deep and lovely. My only caveat is that it does run a little large--I am always an XS or size 2 in everything Athleta (including the Whatever Skort), but I needed to send back the size 2 for a ... 0 in this because it was surprisingly large in the waist (mine is 26 inches). I will definitely be ordering this fabulous ... another color!
Nice Skirt
This skirt is a very lightweight corduroy. The fabric is nice due to its lack of bulk, but for the full price of the skirt, it seems lacking. I will keep it because I bought it on sale. The style is cute, as it is snug around the waist and hips, and flared toward the bottom. Cute and casual. The plus to having such a lightweight fabric is that I can wear it all the way into flip flop season.

this is a lovely skirt...rise is not too low but comfortable and the length is just above my knee (I'm 5'5, 113 lbs)..I bought the size 0 and recently purchased the size 2 (regular length) as I have never bought Athleta bottoms before...so far, the 0 is slightly tight around the waist but if I gain a pound, it probably won't fit...waiting for the size 2 and I am hoping with the inner drawstring, this size might be the perfect one..bought the black color ..very nice and material is very comfortable..would definately recommend...
Really wanted to love it...
I kept waiting for this ... show up online in my size at the sale price, and when it finally did, I jumped at it. I'm normally a size 12 in Athleta pants and went to a size 10 in this ... I'm 5'7", 145 pounds. The material was a lightweight cord and looked like it would hold up well. Unfortunately, for me, the fit of this ... off almost everywhere. The hips actually fit fine but the waist was huge. I used the drawstrings which gathered too much fabric and it was noticeably bunched. The bottom flared out too much and made me look heavier than normal. If it would have been just a bit more fitted, I likely would have kept it. Unfortunately, there were too many things wrong and I sadly sent it back.
Size Inflation!!
I originally ordered a size 6 (I'm usually a size 6-8 in "true" ... I'm 5'8", 135 lbs, and fit but not skinny. The size 6 was HUGE on me, so had to exchange for a size 4. It's a ridiculous game that retailers are playing with "size deflation", and it has made for more work ordering appropriate ... So, at 55 years old, I'm finally back to the "size" I was as a college freshman.

the material on this ... very thin for corduroy. very cute shape on the ... normally wear a S, sometimes XS for athleta and got size 0 for this ... size 2 probably would sit on around my waist better (but since it's a ... can go anywhere). none of athleta's more structured ... fit me properly since i think their fit model is very skinny w/o curves. i'm probably a normal size 4 but would def go down a size or two for this ... fun cold weather ... wear around with boots.
