I absolutely love this shirt. I bought it originally in the beautiful green color and went back multiple times until my ... available in black and gray and ordered those colors as well. It is very slimming. The fabric is very nice and while I think it would be wonderful for yoga or other low impact activities, I will most likely wear it out with jeans or a skirt and heels. It is a bit longer than some tops, but that works for me since I am 5'6 1/2" with a long torso. I was also pleased that the small was not to tight in the bust for me (I am a 34D). The only thing that could be improved is the straps could be a bit shorter.

I love this ...
Great ... - I got it in small (my ... 5' 6", 120lb) for workouts, fits great as a workout ... - snug and very comfortable. I Iiked the style so much that I ordered two additional colors in a M to see if they would be ok for casual work and they are great!! I wear the M (1 ... up from my usual Atleta ... jeans, pants and skirts and these tops are lovely all around.

Very nice ...
I bought this after reading glowing reviews. And I have to say it's a great ... fabric is pleasingly soft and the draping is flattering. I'm normally a small or ... 6 but preferred the ... medium in this design. The ... small clung too much at the waist and hip and therefore showed small bumps and creases of my yoga pants. (And I've got small hips!) I don't usually buy tops with a shelf bra since I wear a separate sports bra. But in this flowing design, it makes sense to have one for modesty during inversions -- it just feels more secure and stays in place. ***Am hoping they continue to make this style but in more colors. Would love to buy it in red, brown, and olive colors.

Love this ...
I am long waisted and often find athletic tops are a bit short for me, but this one is perfect! I bounce between a medium and large and bought this in large and it fits just right. I like the idea it has a bit of give in the waist area ... shirring, really hides the bumps and bulges well. It would also be cute to wear with jeans too. I have worn it in a cycling class and yoga and it stayed in place very nicely, would definitely recommend!

Flattering and functional
I bought this shirt for yoga. I wanted a longer length and a fitted style that wouldn't lift up during stretches and inverted poses, and after a couple of wears in the yoga studio, this appears to fit the bill well. I love the fabric, which has a quality feel to it and appears to wash well. The cost is a bit more than I would normally pay for exercise clothes, but this is one of the few styles I've found that "checks all the boxes" in terms of length and fit (I like to wear a bra so strappy yoga tops don't work well for me). The only slight negative for me (and it is very slight), is that the arm holes are cut a little deep, with the result that it feels a tiny bit skimpy around the underarms/side of the bust. In choosing a ... found previous reviews helpful - I'm usually a ... 4 on ... (which translates to either S or XS in shirts). In this style I need the small - XS would not have worked.

Flattering ... but chest runs tight
I like this ... alot, but had to send back and get a ... up. The chest is snug, and it runs long as most Athleta tops seem to do. Otherwise it is very nice and stylish.

*Really* long and snug
I am normally between a small and a medium for tops (5'7", 130lb, 32C), but generally tend to need mediums primarily because I have broad shoulders and long arms-- for sleeveless tops, I can often go with smalls. Because of that, and from previous reviews, I ordered this in a small. It is quite snug (not *too* tight, or disproportionate), but shows every contour including my navel and the pockets and seams on my pants--this might be ok if the fabric was thicker and the length was somewhat shorter, but I didn't like the overall effect. I also thought the length was kind of excessive, it went all the way down below my butt. I did like the lavender color, and thought the style was cute though. It might be ok in a larger ... but I don't think I want to deal with the hassle of sending it back and forth, and now the sale is over anyway. If you are between ... prefer not to have your shirts fit like a glove, I would recommend ... up.

Not a good fit
I am 4'11" and curvy. This tank was soooo long and unbalanced. Returned it. I don't like fitted tops, but jeez! This was like a dress on me. If you really want to try it, order a ... down. If you are looking for a tank that is loose on the waist, I ordered the Tinker Tank. I liked the tummy hiding it offered.

Flattering
I'm 5'4, 130 lbs, 34DD bust. I usually wear a small, but the small was too tight around the bust (I was bulging out of the sides) and gave me the back fat and muffin top effect. I went ahead and ordered the medium which was a little too big, but once I washed it and hung dry it, I don't know what happened, it now fits perfect! I love it. So I'd say this is not true to size (my comparison is size small in Nike tanks, which is 4/6). I'd go up a size in this tank from Athleta. Good support, nice fabric, and definitely flattering.

Great Support Tank
Love this tank (have in 3 colors). Runs true to size, many reviews said ran small so I ordered up a size & had to exchange for smaller size. Has good support, great for walking & spin class, not enough for running (I wear a 34d, size 10-12 & have this in a medium)

Great plus size workout clothing

Great workout top - and cute too!
I am 5'9, 36C cup. I ordered this shirt in a Medium, Tall. It fit just as expected. I found it a bit tight in the chest, but not uncomfortably so; plus in order to offer the support it advertises, I figured it needed to be that way. I got the turquoise one and found the color to be as advertised. I'll mostly be using this top for yoga - I think it offers excellent coverage for those downward dogs, but I'll also use it for running as well.

Excellent Top for Small B and Below
I purchased the green PR tank, and love everything about it. The fabric is durable and well made, plus the shelf bra holds like a real running bra! I used this bra for a hike the other week, and it did splendid. People commented on the back pockets, which is great for holding IDs or keys. The only con I would say this bra has is if you are a C cup or above, you will have to wear an additional sport bra underneath for running. However, for other activities that are not as high impact, it will do the job. Again, I would recommend this bra only for small B and below cup ... if you plan to wear it alone.

Great Chest Support
Great top. I ordered this looking for a ... wouldn't ride up during yoga (downward facing dog) & show stomach. This does the trick. My only complication is my chest size; I am 5'4", 128# and have a small waist, but my chest is 34D. I ordered a size S (as I am usually a "small"). This shirt fits me exactly throughout, but the bust area is borderline too small. I am keeping this ... rack still looks decent despite the concern), but am ordering another color in a size M with the hope that it fits better in the bust, but is not too big in the torso or waist. It also has A LOT of bust support - very important to those of us with larger sets :). I could probably run in this ... Overall it's a great ...

Plenty long but WAY too tight in the chest
I ordered this PR tank in the size I should wear according to the size charts. The elastic band on the bottom of the bra was so tight, I could barely get it on or off, let alone breath. I was really dissappointed considering these tanks come in Tall - Tall workout clothes are hard to find. The color was beautiful and the quality was really nice but I recommend ordering one size up since the bottom band on the bra runs so small.

... Problems
Athleta has some great styled tops, however none of them ever fit me. I am, according to the ... charts, a true 'small', but every ... small is so tight in the bust that breathing is difficult. I have tried a 'medium' in various styles, however, the bust is still flattened and the tops gap a great deal under the arms. I really wish I could wear these tops - they really are nice!

Beautiful Green Color!
I loved the color of this ... thought it would fit in nicely in my Zumba class (same color as my Zumba sticks)! The fit was not right for me. I ordered a size xs, but should have ordered a size xxs. I normally wear a ... 0 in dress/pants ... Also, I did not like the pockets on the back side. The material was very nice.

nice but...
I bought this tank for running. I am an avid runner and I wanted something that didn't rub when I was running. This tank is very cute and sporty however it did not fit in the chest area. I am 5'1" and about 130lb athletic "pear" shaped build. I am about a size 6 on top and an 8-10 on the bottom. I purchased the small and it was gaping on top and would not have provided me the support I needed plus it just plain looked too big. I returned it and ordered an xs which was hard to get over my head but once on fit great and comfortably in the chest but left me self conscious about the waist and hip area as it fit a little too snug. I love the design, the color (green) and I LOVE the back pockets which are great for long distance running, which was my main attraction to the shirt in the first place. I'm sad it didn't work out, thought it would have been a keeper...it's just not designed for petites I guess.

Disappointing
I liked what I read. I am a plus size strong lady, and I wanted the colors. If these tops had been cut better to enclose the inevitable spread of plus size "girls", I would have kept the 2 I ordered. Unfortunately, the tops at least looked like I might spill out, and that made them unacceptable. Length and quality was fine, but accommodation to bust was not realistic for plus size, and plus size ladies, do yoga, spin, work out in gym etc. So, I am disappointed that I had to return 2 items.

Great layering piece
This turtleneck is fitted, and for those who are tired of the boxy slouchy turtlenecks most stores carry this is a great find. However, beware if you are looking to hide any imperfections - because it will not hide any. If you wear DD ... tops and don't have extra pounds elsewhere, you might still want to give it a try as it is quite long and can look sexy flattering if you like that style. In respect to material, it has nice cottony feel with a few percent of Spandex, so it retains it shape beautifully after going through washing and drying. I also like that it has a bit more chunky texture yet it does not pile or shed like cashmere or lesser quality woolens. I bought it in blue, and love the slightly unusual shade.

Great top...poor quality
I bought two of these tops, and I love everything about them, EXCEPT...within one wearing they both developed multiple holes around the neck. The material is very thin. They are a bit clingy, but I like that look. I am 5'7", 130 pounds and found the medium fits perfectly. The sleeves are a bit long, but I just fold them up.

Very form fitting
It's so hard to tell what ... order these days. I used to be a medium in tops, but now in many brands I'm a small. So I ordered a small in this ... Too small! Looked kinda skimpy, and hugged my body in the wrong spots. I'm 5'8", 128 lbs and small busted with kind of a blocky torso, not curvy. The ribbing just emphasized this. Maybe a medium would have been OK, but my sense is the ribbing and styling of this ... better suited to curvy figures. Oh well. At least the sleeves were long enough for my long arms, and the maroon color was pretty.

really long
I'd say I'm pretty average in the torso, but I like my tops a little longer. Um, this sweater is WAY long. Too long. And it looks vaguely weird when it bunches up around the waist/hips, which it will inevitably do because it's too long. I'll still wear it, but I'm a little disappointed.

Overpriced
I think the price point on these simple tops is too high.

Beautiful color and sweater
I love the color (Cornflower Blue). Others said it wasn't as vivid, but I found the color very beautiful and deep. Almost purply (word?). True to size (I wear a 6-8) and I bought a medium (although my small fits also). Great purchase.

Great travel item
I bought this last year and was hesitant re: size as ribbing can be cling y. I ordered a small and fits perfectly (I am 54 years, 34B, 5'4 and 110lbs). When I opted to wear it on a ski trip flight to Montana, little did I know I would be living in it for 3 days due to UAL lost luggage. It washed up beautifully in the sink basin and dried overnight! Amazing!

Flattering fit
Bought sweater to go with skort for upcoming trip. Fit is true to size. After reading other reviews I ordered the small. My bust size is 34, flattering without being to snug . I love the longer length .

Great, conservative top!
I like the look of this turtle neck. I wear a 32C and the size small is perfect. The half sleeves make up for the fact that turtlenecks can get a little warm for me. I have it in gray and canyon orange, which leans toward coral.

Organic Cotton Sweater
This sweater is true to size. I ordered my normal small and a medium, but you will definitely want your true size. You can't get away with ... up because the stretch cotton bunches all over and is unflattering. I don't like things super tight, and this isn't. In my normal size, the sweater reflects how it is pictured--body skimming. Obviously, this is a practical item. I bought the orange color (which I'm returning in M) and the black (which is a lighter than normal black). I'm pleased with purchase.

true to size!
So everyone said to order up and I did. Well now I have to send it back for a smaller size. The sweater is supposed to be fitted, but now that I ordered up (medium) it is too bulky, folding over at the waist and overall too roomy in the bodice. Here is a measuring tip if it helps anyone I am 5-7", 130 lbs, tiny chest, and a size SMALL is what I need. It is really cute the short sleeves are perfect for California winters.

Demi Sleeve Delight
I purchased this shirt in two colors. Love the fit and the look - true to size and colors are vibrant. The shirt looks super small, but once on, itstretches smoothly, is flattering yet form fititng, and wears well. I haven't it them yet, so 'hope it maintains its shape! I wish you still had the long sleeved version in stock.

great fall sweater
I ordered this in 2 colors and love both. I couldn't decide on the size as I am 5'7 and usually wear a small (4-6) in tops. I ordered the small and feel a bit self conscious in it as it really emphasizes the chest. However, my husband and my friends say it is just right! So , I am keeping the smalls even though I am tempted to order a medium. Don't be alarmed when you open the package as the sweater has a lot of stretch in it!It looks great with the cord skirt pictured in the catalogue and jeans. I received several compliments on it!

Nice turtleneck for everyday
Ordered this in the green, which is very nice, and the black, which is not a black black but somewhat washed out looking. I usually wear a Medium but I ordered these in the Large due to the ribbing. The fit is great, and by ordering a size up it fits close but not to close which is what I like. If you like a close fit just order your normal size. I would have given 5 stars except for the fact that I was hoping for a deep black and the color is more of a faded black, kept it though since the fit is so great.

Too Long--Black not dark enough
I liked the feel of the sweater, but it was way too long. I was also disappointed in the color. The web site makes the color look like a darker black and the actual sweater is not a light black and not what I was looking for. Comfortable, but that was the only plus for me.

Not great if larger in the bust
This is a beautiful top. I need to return it because it makes my chest look HUGE! I am 5'5, weigh 115 with a bra size 34D. The top seemed to scream, "Look at my chest!". My husband even said it was a bit much. Something to consider when deciding on this top.
