Favorite Sweater!
Love the active wear at Athleta...really do wish there were more plus ... options. I was wearing this sweater out to dinner and my girlfriend loved it. So I bought one for her and her daughter. Love this sweater!
SO Soft!
This sweater is so soft and cozy! I've worn in to work (casual office) and relaxing at home. I have not explored the world of yoga yet but I can imagine it would be great for low intensity or meditation as it wraps you in soft comfort. The collar is great worn as a cowl or draped over your head if you need or want a hood. I tried draping it down over my shoulders like it is shown in the picture but I didn't really like it on me that way. There is a lot of stretch and give to the sweater but it retains it's shape even after a couple wearings. It washed up beautifully, I put it in a sweater bag on delicate and dried it on low. I bought the Lipstick color as the purple was sold out in my size. It is a very pretty deep/bright pink. I am 5'10', 36D and the Large was perfect. Buy this sweater! You won't regret it!

I bought this sweater in a size Medium which is a size bigger than I normally would buy. I got Medium due to the reviews that I read about the Small having too short of sleves and too short of body length. I am 5'8' and 130 lbs. The medium is a little big in the chest/underarm area, but I didn't buy this sweater for anything more than lounging around. I LOVE it! It's so nice and warm and the material is very cozy! The high neck is like having a built in scarf . I like the body long and the sleves long as well so the little extra bulk in the chest/underarm area is fine by me.

I love this kind of sweater espically hood and nice cowl too. Shawl is just okay and I know I wont use it often unless if I feel like hugging myself then it is it. It is so cute and so soft! This is really unique and creative. I wanted boyensberry but ran out of size. I am 5'5" and 140lbs. Large is perfect size for me except my stomach looks little balloon. Only if my stomach is flat then looks really good. I could wear tight undereath tank top and would look much better along with it. I wait for another second black one its on way!! Next year I hope there will be navy blue or brown ones!

Truly cozy. A wonderful, dense, almost felted knit. The shawl collar is luxurious, the whole feel of the sweater is a delight. Ordered a size up for looser fit and love the way it falls, the way it feels on. Will definitely order more colors !
LOVE this sweater!
I am a size 4 and bought this sweater in small. The size was perfect! I agree with some other reviewers that I wish it were a tad bit longer because I wear it with yoga pants and would like to cover my butt a bit more... I've gotten so many compliments on this sweater from friends, kids, and even my husband! It is so incredibly soft and cozy. I've worn it to soccer games on chilly days and to an ice skating rink and I pulled the hood up and then didn't need a hat. Some people have complained about the sweater making everything else fuzzy with lint. I haven't had that problem. I wear a white tank underneath and it's fuzz free at the end of the day. I love this sweater so much that I just ordered (and received) another one in black.
Like the sweater
I love the sweater. It runs big though so order a size smaller. Very soft to wear. I will purchase another one but in a smaller size. Does not wrinkle when traveling.

I purchased this in 2 colors, cornerstone and sandcastle. They were different materials and ... ordered a M in both and the fit was very different. I returned the sandcastle because the material was not as soft or pliable as the cornertstone. The sandcastle ... also larger and not as flattering. I kept the cornerstone and really love it. The huge cowl neck is awesome! Not as formfitting as the pictures show. If you want the sweater to fit as shown I would suggest ordering down a size.
Comfy and Warm!
I really like this sweater! The good part is the fabric...warm, cozy, soft, and comfortable for a cold day. The fit is true to size. The questionable part is the long cowl neckline, although that is what makes it unusual. I have been wearing it pulled down over my shoulders and although it looks good, it hikes up if you move around too much. I'm not crazy about it as a long turtleneck draped in the front, and I think I would feel silly wearing it as a hood. Important to know: the cowl neck AND sweater length are not as long as they appear in the picture. I've been wearing it with leggings and boots (long tank underneath, because it doesn't cover your butt) to work and everyone wants it! I ordered black and berry. The black looks much better...returned the berry. I've washed it twice...no problems.
Really odd neckline
I really liked the shape and material of this sweater--I purchased it in the winter white and it is not see thru at all. . It's on the longer side and fitted but not too much so, plus the fabric is heavy and stretchy enough to be forgiving. I am 5'4" and 132 lbs, 34C and the size small fit great. I didn't mind the large cowl neck, but the neck itself was a very small crew neck and it just looked really odd with the folds of the cowl neck. Had the neck opening been larger I would've kept it

Once I got the sweater I was somewhat unimpressed with it. The material is VERY cozy and the fit was great, which I loved, but the cowl neck just didn't do it for me. The neck, when down, was much too long for me to do anything with it, plus it looked kind of weird on me. Having the hood up didn't look that bad, but I'm not likely to wear such an over exaggerated hood around anywhere. The way it looked the best was when the cowl neck was pulled down over the shoulders. It looked very cute, but then I couldn't move my arms, which isn't practicle if you intend to do anything with your arms; you have to keep pulling the neck back down for it to look right. If Athleta has a sweater in the same material but without the cowl neck (or perhaps a smaller cowl), I would certainly purchase that.
