great winter running hat
I bought this in a small b/c most Athleta hats are too big for me, however the small didn't cover my ears, and I need the warmth in NE winters! I exchanged for the M/L and its perfect. Love it
wonderful winter running hat
this is such a great winter running hat. the sides come down low enough to cover the top half of my ears. i was so bummed when i lost my first one, that i had to immediately go buy another to replace it. i have extremely thick hair, so even after having my hair thinned out, the ponytail opening is a bit tight for me to pull my hair through but i can just barely pull it through.
Perfect for Winter Runs!
When I first received this I thought it was going to be a waste of money, the material just seemed so thin. I've worn it twice now running, the first time the forecast said "feels like 18 degrees" the second time the temps were a bit higher but it snowed an inch during the run. My head and ears were actually hot in the beginning of the run, I almost thought it might be too warm but it turned out to be very comfortable and just the best! I purchased the black large size and I plan to purchase the purple color also. The spot for your pony tail is perfect also. Very happy, I did feel a little silly in it as I thought it looked a bit like a swim cap but my friend said it looked really cute on so I'm very happy with it.
Awesome cold weather run hat !!
Love this hat! This replaces my traditional beanie for running in cold weather. It's light weight, stretchy, covers my ears and stays in place while running. I'm growing out short hair so haven't used the ponytail hole yet but look forward to that option. Bought the xs/s size and it fits perfectly - my head measures 21 3/4" (ladies small) and this smaller size fits with no extra room. The visor is short but I like that - I can tilt the hat down and run on a sunny day without my sunglasses. The plum color is sweet!
Great Hat
I purchased the Polartec Power Stretch Visor Beanie for my daughter for Christmas. She lives on the east coast and runs every day. She LOVES the hat. Nice and light but keeps her head and ears warm.
Great Winter Hat
I bought this hat in an xs/s because that's all that was in stock and the fit was great. Fabric is thin, warm and not itchy. I wore it first while snow skiing and I've been using for morning runs in mid 30's weather! I love it!

This will be great when it's snowing, as the visor will keep the snow from falling in my face. Love how the ears come down farther. Nice weight, not too heavy but fleecy lined. Seems like it runs small, but I can't say for sure because I can't find a hat size chart. I never thought I had a big head, but I ordered the M/L and it is tight!

Cute hat
I really like this hat because it's super warm when I run in the freezing cold mornings. Also, I don't really have a great shaped head for all those beanie hats, which is fine in the dark, but when I want to run in the day I look like an egg. The brim on this hat gives it just enough to not make my head look funny and also to shield my eyes a bit without being overwhelming or in the way. I wear this casually too when I'm going to be outside in the cold for long periods of time. I wish it came in other colors!
I've worn this twice for long runs in 15 degree weather, and it is very warm. I love the brim. It could use a little more substancial ear coverage.
Kinda dorky but totally functional - a keeper
I kinda look like my Grandma when I put this hat on, but it does everything I'll need a hat to do for winter runs. I have a small head and most one size-fits all hats are too big for me. I got the XS/S; fits pretty well, but could be a bit smaller and fit better. Love the beanie fit, the brim (although it should be made of a different material or have something stiffer in it to hold its shape better), and it covers my ears completely - so thankful for that! My hair isn't long enough to get into a pony, so I can't comment on whether the ponytail hole is functional or not.
