Love these shorts. I bought 2 colors: black & gray. The compression "could" be somewhat more "compression" but they are way too comfortable just as they are to return. I wear them for tennis, running, and just everyday errands. The length is great...I am 5'8" 150 lbs. and 50+ years, most "running" shorts are way too ... me, these are perfect!

Easy to Wear
These shorts are exactly what I have been searching for! They do run a little large, I typically wear M in Nike ... shorts, though wear a S in the Athleta relay capri (another favorite). I am 5'7" 130 athletic build and find size S perfect for ... training and lifting. The liner is perfect for gym workouts so I don't expose to wondering eyes, it does creep a bit up a bit, but never uncomfortable. The rise is a good length, not low cut yet not granny style. And the material is substantial, but lightweight and doesn't show sweat marks. Thanks Athleta!

Take Two -- exactly what I did!
I have never liked running shorts b/c of the ... inseams, usually choosing to run in compression shorts. But, that's not the look I need running around town or to help coach. These ... perfect for running, and look good just about anywhere I need to wear them. My only request would be for the power mesh liner to NOT be white... the same tone as the ... even black/gray, would be preferable. Otherwise, love them! And yes, I did buy a second pair b/c I loved the first :-) Oh, and I'm 5'2", 125 curvy lbs.

Have every color!
I'm a serious badminton player and have tried them all including running shorts which mostly are too ... traditional game. These shorts are perfect for court sports as the liner doesn't bind and the outer material is so soft and flowing - longer than most running shorts but still a very flattering length. Bought two pair, then all six colors - at 5'5" and 122 pounds I wear a small.

Better than expected
I usually wear running shorts or ... shorts to work out, but like to have a longer pair on hand for walking the dog, running to the store, etc. These are GREAT! Not too long, waist hits just right (low without falling off), longer without sloppy. Better than I'd thought they'd be, very happy!

Nice Shorts
I am 5'2 and weigh 127#. I ordered a small and it is perfect. The shorts do not ride up when running or hiking. The material is soft and feels good against your skin. There is a built in ... panty underneath the shorts that wicks away the moisture. They are very comfortable and look nice too. Glad I bought these because I had been looking for a hiking and running ... would be comfortable and a material that would keep moisture or sweat away from my skin. The price is good compared to others that I looked at in other vendor catalogs.

Love these shorts!
I love the built in liner. I wanted a ... could lift weights in without people being able to see up my running shorts or a fitted ... These shorts give me the coverage I was looking for. I wore them running a couple of times and find that they're a bit long and the liner would ride up a bit, so I wouldn't run in them.

Great shorts! A bit longer than most running shorts. I usually buy men's running shorts because they are longer, but these shorts are my new favorite. Perfect for ladies who like a longer cut, but still need the performance of a good running ...

BEST gym shorts
I mostly own running shorts, which left me seriously overexposed during one memorable gym workout. Ordered these, and they were so great I got two more colors. These are perfect for any workout requiring bending, kicking, bear walking, or waving legs around in the air! Compression shorts stay put and are comfortable, and the length is perfect. These aren't my first choice for running - I don't like this much fabric in a running ... - but I have run in them, and they were fine. Only thing I would change is making the compression shorts a dark color instead of white.

Thank you, Athleta for making my dream shorts! Most ... shorts are too ... these are perfect! I love the built in compression ... GREAT for TRX workouts and boot camp, as well as ... am so happy! I am 5'5" 115 lbs, and the small fits perfectly and comfortably! I love the way they flatter my legs (finally!).

No more mens running shorts!
I am 52 and have been running for 38 years. I still run distances of 9+ miles on a regular basis. I am still in good shape but lets get real, I am 52 not 22! I hate the nonexistent brief running shorts for ... market! I like the length of these and once I was sweaty, the undershorts stayed put. Thanks for keeping me from buying another pair of mens small running shorts to get them long enough. Would love to see you design a more traditional running ... uses the airier fabric and pantylike underbrief just in a longer length like the take two ... know there are more ... my age who feel the same way!
