The absolute BEST ... out there!
I run. I ... lot. And I have tried countless ... shorts. Nike, adias, [...], saucony. I even went to a speciality ... store to try on shorts of all brands. Nothing fit like these from Athleta. The elastic around the legs is thin and not too tight. Most ... shrots, the elastic around the legs is really thick and tight which causes chaffing. The material is lightweight and breathable. There is a little pocket on the inside front to hold my car key safely. The tie is on the OUTSIDE of the ... so the knot doesn't rub. The length is perfect so that my thighs don't rub together when I ... does not ride up either. They are the perfect ... am a size 4; I'm 5'6" and ordered the small. Perfect fit. I have them in almost every color!

I love, love love these ... have only been ... skirts for a few years but the pretty styling of these tempted me to buy ... again. The fabric is soft and very lightweight--good for hot days. I bought the purple and and dark green/blue and both are pretty. I bought M and they fit me well (maybe a little big) and I am 5'9" and 135#. I am considering buying black also. I love them and will wear all summer.

great ...
love, love, love these hana ... I'm 5'2", 135lbs, and these fit great. They're lightweight, cool and the perfect length. Not too ... not too long, and can use them to swim in. For a 48 year old, I'm not really comfortable in a swim suit but don't want the granny swim skirt look, so I'm gonna wear these with a tankini top.

great ...
I haven't been buying or ... kind of ... several years - just didn't think they were that cute anymore. Bought this one in blue on sale and I love it! I received several compliments the very first time I wore it! The fit is good - I buy small is ... skirts but meduims in ... these mediums were perfect, the design is very nice and the fabric is lightweight. Even the attached panty is designed to fit without being tight and restrictive. My only concern was that at the end of a 20 mile ... retained the sweat in the crouch, so much so that they were dripping and felt like I had an accident, but this was not noticable to anyone else. Also, the skin around the waistband was a bit raw after the 20 miler - but this might be from my hydration belt pressing into the waistband of the ... All in all - these are great for shorter ... - up to 10 miles.

Was hoping for a better fit!
Love the color (ordered purple) and overall look of these ... but they are just too loose and 'skirt like' in the legs. I ordered the XS (5'4"; 115 lbs) and they fit great in the waist. Tried them on at least 4x because I really wanted to like them! I prefer a more fitted ... - they are going back.

My go to ...
I own two pairs of these and love them beyond belief. I have ... marathon, three 1/2 marathons and every race distance in between in these ... usually wear them under a ... skirt, but sometimes wear them alone. I am 5'2" with very muscular legs and these don't ride up one bit. I love the side pockets for stashing gels and chews. The rise is also perfect. It doesn't feel like I have a muffin top spilling over the waistband, but they also aren't so high waisted that it feels like they are up around my ribcage. If I could make any improvement at all, it would be to add a bit more compression. Otherwise these are perfect as is.

THANK YOU, Athleta! I have been looking for compression ... almost a year that are 7" inseam, and VOILA. Super material, and love the design. A few items of note: they ... BIG (I wear a M but usually am a 12/14 in the booty; I am also looking for good compression); they are billed as 7" but are more like 6" (not an issue); the drawstring seems pointless--and it's long/unwieldy and thus annoying. Fantastic fabric, feel, functionality (I wear under tennis skirts).

Just what I needed
These ... good for the gym and for yoga, but mainly I bought them to go under skirts for biking and around town. Perfect fit and length for that.

FANTASTIC!
I've been searching for a ... every one that I've researched has had mixed reviews re: the ... part riding up. I bought these Presto ... CYA skirt to go on top. The fit is perfect! The style: Totally Cute! The fact that my 5'3" 155lb frame fits in a medium: PRICELESS! I'm ordering another set right now!

Great Compression
Just wore this for a 10K yesterday in Kenwood with a CYA skirt layered over them. Since I prefer a compressive fit, I bought a Medium. I teter between a 10 and 12. I love the fit. They stayed put for the race. Also thought the pop of color was cute. Thought the internal pocket could be just a tad bigger.

Great ...
I got these to go under my shorter skirts, and they work great - they are very flattering and comfortable. The size is perfect - even with my hippy hips. they smooth everything nicely. I am between a 6 -8 because of my hips, and the small fits great. The purple accent is a great color too.

Love these ... !!!
I'm 5'2", 123 lb, wear size 6P or 6S in BR pants and carry a bit more weight in my stomach area than I'd like. Ordered size small and they fit beautifully. As the description says, these are sleek and supportive! LOVE this Velocitek fabric! They are supposedly mid rise but I felt the rise was a bit lower than on the Quick Step Capri and WorkitOut tight which are also described as mid rise. Drawstring waist allows you to cinch the waist tightly to hold up the ... pockets may be weighed down by cell phone, etc. I use these for light ... (<5K) and working out in the gym. I layer on the CYA skirt in size small for added modesty. I like them so much that I'm thinking about ordering another pair.

Great workout ...
I wear these mostly for ... under my CYA skirt. They are very comfortable and don't ride up like other ... length. The side pocket fits my I phone perfectly too.

Showtime!
It's a little embarassing sometimes in the locker room, I think it's safe to say there's a healthy amount of "competition" among girls, everyone is half naked or totally nude walking around and putting on as little as possible before heading to class or to the general gym floor. A great body has become the new and most fashionable item for a woman (more than a designer bag or shoe)... and let's face it, we're all part of it. These are great shorts, comfortable (enough) to wear and feel sexy enough to go out there and expect to turn heads.

Fantastic shorts
I'm really pleased with these shorts. They are great for treadmill running in the winter. The waist band is extremely comfortable and the legs don't ride up at all. I'm 5'5" and 114 pounds and the extra small fit perfectly (sometimes I find Athleta's XS to be too small for me but these fit great). I also think they are priced really reasonably for what they are.

True Grace
This pair of shorts was a gift for my girlfriend who has just recently gotten into running. I scored major points with her by buying these. She tells me they fit perfectly and keep her so much cooler and dryer than her other shorts. Top notch product!

Love, love, love these shorts. They're perfect for running and they look great. I used to spend lots of money in stores like Nike and Runners stores and didn't find anything this cute and perfect fitting.

It''s about time
I've tried all kinds of undershorts beneath my tennis skirts and dresses. These are the BEST! Most shorts dig in at the waist creating an ugly line, basically making one appear to be chubby when they aren't (I'm 5'6" and 125 lbs.) These do not. I will be planning on purchasing more of these for both my daughter and I. I just wish they were a little cheaper. That and the stitching along one of the legs came unsewn the very first time I wore them.

nice, smooth fit - no muffin legs or top!
The fabric is nice and thick, though the white may still be a bit too thin for modesty for some. Love the wide waistband - very comfortable. Will wear this mostly under my tennis skirts. Wish there were more colors....

Love this ...
I love the length and fit of this ... have worn them now for boot camp classes, yoga, kickboxing, and running and they've been great for all! I even sometimes wear them to walk the dog but I am a little worried that I might get nominated for a makeover tv show if I don't stop!

Would be perfect if just a tad longer and thicker in the white!
I love the comfort of these shorts. I ordered them to wear under some sport skirts that had no shorts built in. I wish they were one inch longer, b/c even on my ... legs, they are ... ride up a bit b/c they hit right at the middle of the fattest part of my inner thigh. If they were just one inch longer, I think they wouldn't ride up. I am 5'2", 105 and usually wear XS in Athleta bottoms, but these were pretty snug; great if you are looking for compression, so I sized up to a S and it was perfect.

Great tennis shorts
I bought these shorts to wear under my tennis dresses and was very pleased. The waste band is wide and doesn't cause any tummy bulge. They stay in place without being too tight. The legs do ride up, but I think all lycra shorts do that if you're not stick thin. I have large thighs and they don't dig into them, but they do hold the tennis ball without slipping. I would recommend these shorts to other tennis players. I am 5'8", 155 pounds and typically a medium to large in shorts and skorts, or a 8-10, and the large fit well. I think the medium would've been too tight.

I bought it for running, but found that the shorter length caused the legs to roll up while I ran causing it to be very uncomfortable. My goal was something different then the loose running shorts that allowed for chafing (living in the tropics) It might be different for someone with a straighter leg - I've got some curve to my thighs. I'm going to try it out with a yoga practice and see if the rolling happens, otherwise I think it would be great to sleep in. I would love the same shorts in a longer length.

I'm 5'4, 110 lbs and bought an xs which is my size in all the pants and skirts. Should have gotten a small although might not wear these except for under a tennis skirt. Material is too thin and see through.

Super cute!
I love this skort! I wore it the other day for the first time and literally got compliments all day long. It is so adorable on and very flattering. I wore it for a 9 mile run and it was perfect - didn't notice any problems whatsoever. It's a little ... (designed to be I guess). For frame of reference, I'm about 5'3, 110 lbs and got the XXS - fits perfectly, I think the XS would be a little big. I loved it so much I went back and bought two more in other colors. Plan on wearing it all summer for everything - running, ... errands, etc.

Love this Purple skort
Love the color of this skort...true purple. I questioned if it was a blue but it is beautiful. So girlie in it's style, love the ruffles. I have this skirt also in a turquoise that I purchased last season. The inner ... mesh and it does ride up a little while running, but I still love it. I purchased the matching top as illustrated in the catalogue. Love the set. I ordered a large, I typically wear a size 10 in pants and weigh 160 and height is 5'7". In addition to running I could easily wear this skort running errands, however if this was my initial plan I probably would have ordered a tall to give more length, but the regular length is great for running.

flattering ...
I love this ... purple color is beautiful and the cut is flattering on my body. I have only used it for Bikram yoga but I intend it for ... also. The one concern I have is that the legs of the shorts tend to roll up a bit when I'm walking around. I suspect this could be problematic for ... Combined with the racine bra swim suit top, it makes a most beautiful and functional hot yoga outfit.

Fun and flirty skort!
I bought this skort for running. Since it is too cold to wear it outside yet, I haven't had a chance to run in it, but I'm looking forward to spring so I can try it out. I got the purple color and I love it. I am 5'6" and weigh in the 160s. After reading other reviews, I ordered down a size and got the Medium. It fits great! Plus, once I stay focused on eating better and start dropping some of my extra weight, I'll still be able to wear this. This is my first running skort and I'm excited to have something other than shorts to wear this year.

This skort ROCKS!!!
I finally found the best ... So so glad Athleta brought this one back! I love that the shorts are tight enough to not have to wear compression shorts with them! The ONLY THING is that they run big. I usually wear a medium, and exchanged them for small. AND the white ones are super cute, but the shorts part is very thin so you can see through them if you happen to forget you have hot pink underwear on! ;) Would totally recommend these to anyone, and so worth the cost!!! happy running....or walking, or wearing to the pool, or ... store :D

Fantstic skirt!!!
LOVE this sirt! I was drawn to this skirt because it wasn't just another boring black running skirt. Love the ruffle design. great fit, not too ... not too long. Really comfy. Get tons of compiments whenever I have it on! :) If you're a fan of the running skirt(I AM) I highly recommend this one! Also, great for gym workouts, and running errands afterwards.

I LOVE this skort. I didn't realize that ladies were wearing skirts for running until I went to a popular race in my town a couple weeks ago. It seemed like everyone and their mother was wearing one! Then I saw a picture of this item in a magazine and I loved how it looked. I just got the skort today and it is so comfortable. I can tell it will be great and comfortable for running. I ordered it in blue and it is a beautiful color. Living in FL it gets very warm so it seems the fabric willl keep me cool. I've order it in pink as well and am waiting for that one to arrive. So adorable!!

swagger ...
I really love the way this ... feels and works when ... purchased the solid black ... well. The reason I am returning the pink ... because of the difference in color from the video showing the ... model ... along the beach. In the video, the shorts are black with the pink ... over top. In reality, the ... completly pink. If the black and pink combination were an option, I would purchase it in a heartbeat, but my understanding is it is not. I will just have to make do with solid black as my only option. If you choose to order, I would suggest to purchase one size smaller. It is a little loose in the waist.

Fun and Cute!
I love ... skorts and I always look for ones that are unique. This one fit the bill! The multi tiered skirt is flattering and comfortable. I get a ton of compliments when I were it ... trail (mostly from men!) I was concerned at first that the undershort was a mesh like fabric, but I couldn't see through it (I purchased black). The undershort did ride up a bit--there are no grippers at the leg opening. But all in-all I am very satisfied.

Ok initially I decided this skirt would be good for running...but I'm going to have to take back that advice. The layers of the skirt are light and feel good but the under ... uncomfortable for long distances. First, for running this skirt should have a liner. The fabric of the ... rough and just walking in it proved difficult. This skort must be paired with a light weight panty. I ran 7 miles in this skort and noticed the shorts tend to ride way up causing chafing in the creases of the groin area. I would like this item for running much more if the under ... had a combination ... if the shorts stayed in place. I will still wear the skort for gym workout but definitely not for running. Thanks again!

Very cute, comfortable but NOT FOR THE RUNNER. I am 5' 7" and bought the tall for the longer inseam and within minutes of running the shorts rode up and I was yanking them down every few minutes for miles.... If you have pencil thighs that don't ever think of rubbing, this might be your skirt. So disappointed. In fact none of the skorts work for running, i can't seem to wear anything less than a 7 inch inseam for the ... chaffing will occur. Please, Athleta, make some cute running skorts with longer inseams. I can't be the only one!
