support tops for running - reviews

favorite workout ...
This is the third PR ... I've bought, and the color is just as beautiful and flattering as the others. I'm very impressed with the ... offers. I am an XXS petite, but I am a 32D, so it is difficult to find ... tops that I can use for my intense workouts. This works great for every single one of my classes, whether I'm jumping around or doing yoga. It's long enough to cover my torso without being too long, and it is very comfortable, and easy to get on and off. Highly recommend it.

My favorite ...
I have hesitated to write a review because I am fearful that the masses will come flocking and I won't be able to get my favorite workout tank of all time. And I've tried a lot. But that would be an injustice to Athleta. I am a bigger woman and have had a couple of children and my stomach is not as tight as I would like. I am also large chested. I need support. Support in the cups and support in the whole ... tank does it. I can ... can jump in this ... Yoga, everyday use. I love it. I have it in 3 colors and only wish they offered more. The tide blue is a lot lighter than the picture. I wish it was a deeper turquoise but it's definitely lighter. The body of the tank comes down to my mid hip which is perfect for me. Doesn't ride up during my activities. It feels like light spanx on my stomach and I really like that. All I would ask is that Athleta offers this amazing tank in other colors. Best tank ever.

Great workout ...
Love this support ... has just the right amount of support. I'm 120 pounds 5' 3" and I wear 34D bra and the medium fits great a little snug in the chest but that is what I want for the correct support I need when doing a boot camp class.

as expected
i bought this mainly for gym work and spinning. It's very comfortable and covers cleavage and is long enough in the back- which is usually my compliant with these kind of tops. Nice piece. I am a 36B and it's the right amount of ... if you are larger in the bust, it may not have enough ...

Love it
Reliable go to for morning workouts, good ... can wear without a sports bra for moderate impact activities (I personally prefer high ... running) - gym, pilates, bootcamp, elliptical, etc. For reference I am 5'5", 140, and 34C. I wear this ... once a week at least....

I love the changes
I love that the changed the pr ... season. The pockets are no longer sitting on your love handles, just properly position on your front side. This ... gives me the most support out of all the performance tops, without wearing a bra. 38D (with tummy). I own 1 of the previous style and 2 of this one. I also just purchased a printed energy ... Athleta needs to make more high impact support tops for larger breasted women.

Great colour, does the job
I bought this ... mainly because I loved the colour and how it combined with the short as pictured. I am 5 4 and am 34D so find that if things are tight it tends to be in the bust. As other reviewers have described this is tight in the bust. However I don't mind this as I feel I have good support when exercising. There is a technique to getting into it without getting tangled which I have now mastered. This said I have noticed I reach for my ... tops without the support ... just want to get going, so it is still a bit of a wrestle to get it on. Once on I find it really comfortable, feel great in it, and find it stays in place while running. The fabric doesn't tend to show perspiration marks as some do. The medial placements of the straps, butterfly back and no need for a bra makes this a very comfortable ... hot days. I bought the medium. Despite some of the drawbacks i think it looks great and am happy with it.

LOVE IT!
Finally - a ... without removable cups! While I like the additional coverage the removable cups provide - I am just so tired of having to take them out and put them back in with every wash (I work out 4-5 times a week - that means a lot of washing and adjusting of those cups). Even without the cups the ... (IMHO) provides enough coverage for the average workout (although on cold mornings you can tell its.... well cold. But I am working out - I don't personally care). The "pockets" in the back/sides were a suprise and I was pleased that since I don't plan on using them they really don't stand out. Nicely ventilated and enough ... do short term jump rope warm ups, box jumps, and (for me at least) running. Returning my Va Va ... getting this one (not to mention a much better price point on this one). For the yogis out there - I haven't done yoga in this ... yet but if the size fits you I expect it to be flexible enough for those longer held poses. Very pleased all in all.

PR ... good workout buddy.
Great coverage, solid fit. Sides of chest provide better coverage than other built in support tops I've used. A little less support than I expected when running, but pretty average for typical sports bras. I'm a 36 C and ordered the small for a snug fit. The side pockets can hold my iphone while trail running. Never bounced out!

Nice ... Yoga
Although tight around the midriff the ... has good ... large chested women. I like the ... use it for Yoga. It would not be suitable for running as it would not offer enough ... Generally Athleta clothing ... small for me.

Great color, ... gaps
I usually love athleta ... tops and wear them daily for ... gym. This one was a beautiful color in the cobalt blue. However, when I wore it, the ... front seam gapped in a really weird way. The ... fine. But it almost seemed like it was designed for someone with much wider shoulders. Unfortunately it will be going back as the overall size seemed right. I'm 5'4", weigh 132, and had the small.
