Got One, Now I Want More
I am 5'4", 140 lbs, 36-38C. I bought a size Medium. I have had my eye on this rash guard for a few months now, so when it went on sale and combined with the post Thanksgiving savings, I bought it. It came in the mail today as we were on our way to the beach so I was able to try it out right away. The first thing I loved about it was the zipper front. I have been annoyed in the past by other rash guards because the neck feels too confining/tight. The zipper front on this shirt gives you the option to have it up for full protective coverage, or down a bit so you can cool off and breathe a little. The second thing I loved was the length of the arms...it hits a little past the wrist and stays there. Even when I got in the water it didn't move and was very comfortable. Thirdly, the fabric was really nice. A little bit different than your average rash guard, I felt it was a little bit softer and not so slick. Last, I loved that it is longer than other rash guard shirt. They have a tendency to sneak up on you as you're swimming or doing other water things, and this one stayed in place. The temperature when I wore it was 82 degrees with a breeze, and with the long sleeve shirt on, it was really comfortable. I used it for stand up paddle boarding today, and I didn't feel there were any issues with mobility. I got the green and it's a fun color. My husband thought it looked great as well and told me I should get another one in a different color. Hello black rash guard! I'm looking at you next!

beautiful & practical
I already own this in another color, so I jumped on the chance to buy it on sale. Unfortunately, the zipper sticks on this one, but no worries. Athleta is so good about exchanges. I am a consistent size 4, 5'4", 122#, 32D. The small worked great for me. It is snug in the chest, but very flattering that way.

tall chic who loves it
5'11, 143lbs, size 4-6, 34C. i ordered a small and a medium, the small fit great, a little looser in the stomach than i would like but still totally cute. xs would probably be too small. as a 'dress' i'm not 100% crazy about it but as a guard i love it. the ruching is nice, hides some well earned motherhood 'flaws.' i ordered the lawn green on sale, nice color, very close to the garden green i think. the 'flourescent' green some reviewers talked about must be the cucumber color. i LOVE the half zip. my hubby says it's very james bond girl, i'll take that :-)

Gorgeous!
Loved this colorful pink coverup. It fits exactly as described. If you are self conscious regarding body hugging clothes, order a size up or two. I am 5" 6" and 115 with 32C chest and the small fit perfect. I got complimented all day long! Who knew coverups could make you feel so pretty? :) I gave it a 4 star only because it did have a small hole on the side that I had sewn. For that kind of $, you would expect the clothes to have no defects. Overall, I am so happy with this coverup that I plan to buy another in a different color.

I have a ruched top from last season in a Med and love it, so I jumped at this one when I saw it was in the sale list. The raspberry color is beautiful, but was much tighter than my other top. The fabric seemed shiny when it stretched across my chest. I normally wear a Medium (I am 5'9", 150lbs and wear a size 6 top) but this was too tight.

I''m impressed
The Athleta staff that took my order was fantastic. She made it a very personal experience. She answered all my questions and made suggestions about a few purchases I made in addition to my basic order. Love the fit, love the style and love the ease of care and durability of the clothes. I was on my way to Spring Break at the beach and the addition of the skort and Kavi top were wonderful. Will order again.

SUPER Comfy, everyday wear
I bought 2 of these shirts when ... were on sale and wish I could buy more. The fabric is SUPER soft, the shelf bra is stabilizing (I'm a 34B), and it could really been worn with a nice suit for the office. While the cut is a little lower than anticipated in the front, it is not a show stopper in terms of wearing it to work and such. I'm 5'5", 155lbs and athletically built. I bought a small and it fit just fine. I want to add that I wouldn't go out without a bra underneath the shirt ... shelf bra stabilizes me more which is what I appreciate. The ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I would LOVE to see a true bra built in to this shirt.

Love it!
I have this in 4 colors. I think the elastic around the chest is too tight -something I'll alter on my own. ... color/fit/look is amazing and worth the (sale) price.

Great long, fitted tank
This top is lovely! Good for yoga, everyday wear, and travel. I'm 6' and this tank can be worn pulled down and long or scrunched up - the medium ... length is perfect for me. I'm also in early pregnancy, and am excited to find versatile clothes that aren't maternity (thus can be worn post pregnancy) ... work with maternity ... growing tummy. The material is soft and the top is well made.

Loved it until it fell apart
I really like this tank and wore it probably 6 times until it fell apart in the wash. I always wash my Athleta clothes on the gentle cycle and air dry. The seam on the shoulder just came unraveled. I will have to return it.

Disappointed in the fabric
I love the fit and look of this top ... started to pill after just a few washings. The fabric is super soft and drapes nicely. The fit is super flattering. At this point though, it's so worn looking that I don't even like to wear it. Glad it was on sale. Maybe Athleta can redo this one in a better fabric.

shelf bra elastic too tight
When I purchase clothes, my first priority is with comfort. The elastic on the shelf bra was too tight and bothered me so I did return this item.

Great leggings, ... SO soft. And the only pair that I feel comfortable wearing as ... because ... thick enough and smoothing. I am 5'11" and about 115 lbs, and the Xsmall Tall was absolutely perfect. I hope more go on sale so I can snatch them up, the olive heather is the one I got and it is gorgeous.

My New Favorite!
I ordered these on sale in the asphalt color. I LOVE them! I am 5'8", 132 pounds and the medium fits perfectly. The length hits just at the ankle so when I ordered my second pair in black I ordered a medium tall. The tall ... slightly longer and I like them as well. I wore these traveling over the holidays and ... were so comfortable. These are expensive ... but ... worth it. ... perfect legging type ... fits and feels like a dream. Thank you Athleta!

I have to force myself to wear other ...
I have to admit that because I'm fostering two 3-month old puppies I fall asleep at night wearing these ... wake up the next morning, roll out of bed and end up wearing them for the rest of the day. ... keep their shape and don't smell, and wash well once I finally get around to washing them. ... have sustained direct puppy bites and are not the least bit injured or worse for the wear. I wear them outside in snowy 10 to 20 degree weather with mild wind chill, and I'm pretty warm. I have actually knelt down in the snow in these and don't get wet or cold. I wear them to lift weights at the gym and ... work great. It does get a little warm, though, if you're sweating, so for more intense workouts ... not a replacement for shorts. I have received compliments on them. I will buy more pairs as soon as my XXS goes on sale in a good color; I really like the dark heather colors. I am 5'4 and 100 pounds, for reference. I wear them with hiking shoes, Vibram Fivefingers, and knee height boots. I think ... look great with any shoes, really. The only problem with wearing them with knee height boots is that ... pill a little at the contact points on the inner knee, but it's barely noticeable and doesn't bother me. Great ...

They''re perfect... so make them in bright colors
For anything but exercise, except maybe snowshoeing and XC. Too warm for indoor workout. This is the perfect legging for knee high or over the-knee boots. No sneakers please, that would not be a good look. Small isperfect for 5'6", 135#, ... 4,6 or 8, depending. I was lucky to get them in olive heather, but must the colors of Athleta's bottoms always be so sensible and low key? We need winter white, red, ultramarine. Yes, they're expensive for what they are, but one pair is enough. Get the asphalt at the sale price.

Just call me Hot ...
I mean it when I say these ... Hot! I wore them to the big adventure travel trade show in Veracruz, Mexico and everyone wanted to know where I got them. They're classy enough that I felt comfortable wearing them to travel as well as tour around in. I'm a 5'7" 127 pound lean machine and I like clothes that flatter. The small was perfect. These ... beautifully shaped, with the pocket and stitching details in all the perfect places. ... worked perfectly in both sandals and boots. I know ... can go to the gym too, but I don't want to ruin them for other activities....I guess I'll have to buy another pair!

Soooo comfortable and really flattering.
OMG I put these on and my daughters laughed at me because before I even looked in the mirror I couldn't stop saying how comfortable they were! I was looking for a ... could wear tucked into boots because skinny jeans just don't fit my body type. These are perfect! I know people are wearing them for working out but I am wearing them for everyday. The fabric is soft and the waist is so forgiving. I wish they would go on sale so I could get another pair. They are a little pricey with a discount. Just FYI, other posters are right. They do run short. The regular length fits me fine and I am only 5' 2". So be prepared for that. I don't know what others meant by them not being true black. I thought they were a fine black color.

Love them!
They fit perfect! A little loose around the waist but I don't mind. They are a bit short (petite M) but ... stay inside my boots and ... look like a capri with flip flops in the summer. I'm waiting for another sale to buy the grey pair!

I like these ... never go on sale though:( I first got the Med regular (I am 5-9 and 168lbs big bones, not so curvy) ... were a little short, so this pair I got the Med LONG and ... great. I would like to see the price a bit less, as ... wear out, or snag, and above [$], I wouldn't replace them. ... make your butt look good, though:)

Just Right
I was worried they would be too short...but ... pefect for wearing with boots or flats. The rise is just right. I feel more comfortable wearing these than thin leggings and definitely look more stylish. The waistband is comfortable. I wore them on a long car ride with the kids and I was comfortable the entire time and looked good, too! I ordered another pair in a different color as soon as I saw the next sale.

LOVE THESE ...
I bought a black pair and wore them for three days straight. Then Athleta had a sale, so I couldn't resist, I went back for the gray pair. The good - they fit like a glove and no panty lines! They don't sag around the knees or butt (even after three days of wear). I LOVE the contrast stitching and jean styling. I've worn them to work and casually. I haven't worked out in them, but will. The not so-good - I'm 5'7, 120-125lbs, with long legs. The regulars were just the right length, and I figured after a wash they'd be too short. So I went with longs, even though they bunch a bit at the bottom. I'd rather have too long than too short anyday. Other downside, I wish the gray were more of a charcoal and/or the heathered gray had the contrast stitching (they don't.) The gray is a little light for my taste. Other than that, LOVE THEM. Literally have worn them for five days straight.

Awesome ...
I am overall very pleased with the Bettona jegging! I'm around 5'8 and I ordered a tall length in XS, but surprisingly, the tall length was a little longer than what I expected, and I actually have long legs. However, it's not really a big deal because I am mainly going to wear these with tall flat boots in fall and winter. If I wear them in the spring with sandals, all I have to do is just turn them under a little bit and no one would even notice. The rise was a little lower than I expected, but it's by no means unreasonably low. I won't be flashing anyone! The Bettona jegging is a keeper in my book! I am giong to wear them to work on casual Fridays and weekends with long sweaters and boots. I wish I could try on more Athleta clothes. If only Athleta would add a store in the St. Louis area!

They feel fabulous
Ordered these before ski season to fix any fit problems before season. I tried them on as soon as I got them and they fit like a glove! I was a little nervous with the waist as it was a little big, but it does have those elastic adjustable thingies in the waistband ( my only disappointment, too much like my toddlers clothes). I then tried them first day out and decided I liked it a little loose because I can tuck in several layers of shirts if need be comfortably. They are wind proof, water proof and pretty darn warm. Def not for the coldest of days, but I skied in 25-30 degree weather in these with just a base layer on under them comfortably. Just the right amount of stretch. Hope you come out with more colors!

Great fitting ski pant
Ordered this pant for my daughter for a ski trip - she is generally a size 2 so I ordered the 2 and 4P - the 2 fit wonderfully! It's form fitting and very flattering - unlike the bulky ski clothes of days past. She was pleased with look/fit - and she is very particular!

Great winter pants
I had ordered these on sale earlier this summer. Hated to pay full price so waited for a deal. I LOVE these pants. I live in them. Recently got a puppy so am in and out with housebreaking and these are nice and toasty and keep me warm. It's winter here in Upper Michigan and cold. I've worn them snowshoeing and they kept me very warm. Haven't tried cross country skiiing in them yet. I would definitely buy another pair. I did order a 10 since the fit was semi fitted and I've found in some Athleta pants I can't wear my usual 8. They do make noise but the warmth/comfort far surpasses the noise. I'm tall so the long length is perfect. No cold legs/ankles because the pants don't ride up when sitting. Would be nice if they came in a brown or a dark grey color along with the black. Fit perfectly over boots so they don't get stuck and bunch up. I'd highly recommend.

Why didn''t they make these in 0 petite?????
I can't understand why vendors stop making clothes at 2petite when they will have xxsp. I would have kept these pants had they been smaller. Perfect for snowshoeing, xc skiing and downhill skiing. Not waterproof enough for snowboarding. Very well made.

Rides low for being a snow pants
These pants look great but ride low, so if you fell in the snow you would definitely get snow down the pants! I like my winter clothes to come up to the waist and be snug!

Warm sporty pants
I bought a pair of pants similar to these from another company and Iove them. I have had a hard time finding this style anywhere else and I found them here.I really like the details of the zippered pockets.The pants are soft fleece on the inside and waterproof outside. They are very comfortable. The only downside is these were very expensive and I had to wait for a sale to consider purchasing them. I bought a size 0 and they fit perfect. 5'4" and 108 lbs. Stylish warm pants. I love them.

LOVE these pants!
These pants are PERFECT for chilly, windy, snowy, or rainy winter days. I am 6' 2" tall, 130 lbs, and am usually cold most of the winter. The material on these pants is very wind and water resistant and the inside is a thick, super soft fleece. I usually wear between a 4 and a 6 tall, and based on the reviews I ordered the size 4T. They fit PERFECTLY!! Size down if you aren't sure. The material is very stretchy so you should be able to get into them without a problem. Amazing winter pant. Totally worth the money, especially on sale. ;)

So nice, I bought two!
These pants are wonderful! I have lived in Alaska for 2 years now and have had to change my wardrobe, somewhat. These pants are suitable for the classroom as well as the cold walk to school in the morning. The temperature gets quite chilly here, but I have had to layer underneath (tights) only once and the other times, they are perfect for classic skiing! I bought the first pair on sale last year and made sure to buy a second pair (on sale) this year. The size 2, which I wear in only one other name brand (normally size 4/6), is still too big and am not sure I want to go to the size 0. This allows me to layer underneath if necessary. I dig the Calaveras pant because it is practical, sporty, and fashionable.

Great for Snowshoeing
I read the reviews on these pants and was very curious to see how they would fit and work for winter sports in light of the very diverse reviews they received. I ordered a 6 T. They fit perfectly. I am 5'8, 130 lbs. The drawstring at the waist is the key to a good waist fit. I wore a body glove thermal shirt as my under layer, tucked it into the pants, and had no trouble whatsoever with the low rise. As other reviewers have mentioned, they are very stylish and flattering and I received many compliments the first time out. They are keepers and especially at the sale price!

Great pants
I just received those last week, I took advantage of the sale. They fit great and will be perfect for any winter outside activities. II love the fabric and the style. The rise is low and maybe a bit loose around the waist but a belt fixes this problem for me. The length a bit too long (I am 5.5 and bought the xs regular) is also solved by wearing it with snow boots. I am glad I bought them!

top quality
Bought these on sale in the ice gray color, the only color they had left in my size... I wouldn't otherwise have chosen this color, but in person it's beautiful and a little unusual, I love it. I have curvy hips/thighs, and these pants are very flattering and true to-size in 16. Slighty too long in the regular length (I'm 5'6") with lightweight hiking boots, but not so long that I'm walking on the hems, they're all right. Better a bit too long than a bit too short. They'd be the perfect length with ski boots or heavy snow boots. Very high quality fabric and workmanship with lots of cute, interesting details. Comfortable, soft and cozy, warm, and serious enough for real cold weather sports, but also sleek enough to pass for casual everyday wear if you live in a cold climate. I see they're pretty much sold out of this pant for the current year, hope they'll re stock it for next winter!

Sweet pants
These things are the bomb! I bought them to wear around town instead of jeans because I am always freezing cold and wanted a pair of lined pants. I think these are going to fit the bill perfectly. They definitely do have a ski pant look to them but I suppose that's what they're for. I like that look. They fit perfectly (I ordered a size 2 P and I am 5' 2" and 105 lbs.). I would definitely get these...especially if they are on sale!

Love these pants! Warm, flattering, very functional!
These pants are awesome! I saw them in the store & tried them on and they looked great! I had to have them. Only issue was they didn't come in petite. Petite was sold out. But I loved them so much I bought them anyway and took them to a tailor. Thank goodness got them on sale because in order to tailor w/out interfering w/ zipper (one of the cool details at hem), they had to take 3 inches of fabric from the upper thigh so it cost $35. So beware if you tailor them. Make sure you have a very good tailor who can do flat seams like the inside of the pants so it won't chafe your legs. My tailor did a great job. I am glad I got them because they are great for cold weather just wearing around, but are warm enough for spring skiing too. Love them! Just make more cool pants in SHORT lengths for us short legged girls.

Love the Pants, but was sent the wrong size!!!
I waited for these pants to go on sale, and got them in a 6 (i'm 5'5" and weigh 145 with a small waist, booty and big legs), and they sent me a 4T, yikes!! To my amazement I actually got them and on and even buttoned, they are super comfy ,stretchy and seem warm, but they were just too long for me :( The fit is close to the Dipper, but with more stretch. I'm so bummed, because a 6 would have been perfect, and they don't have anymore. I even thought that I might be able to hem them, but there's a zipper that goes all the way to the bottom, so no dice. The customer service guy, Steve, was so nice and was able to get me the Fall Line Ski Pant, at a special price, still way more than I wanted to spend, but at least it was a good gesture on Athleta's part to make it this better. Hopefully they are a similar fit, we will find out.

They are waterproof...
I bought these just before we had a mid February heat wave in upstate NY. I wore them outside yesterday and sat in the snow w/ them for a long time while playing with my kids. They are def. water proof. Because it was nearly 50 degrees, I cannot vouch for how warm they'd be in bitter cold, but they are nicely lined with cozy fleece, so I think they'd be good. As far as the fit, they seem to run a tad big (though I'd love to think I'm really a true size 10), but not much. I wore them w/o a base layer, but I think the sizing allows for some layering if necessary. Cute in a Harley Davidson kind of way. I love them and am glad I splurged...I think they'll make winter more fun! I gave them 4 stars b/c of the price. I bought them on sale, but even then, I think they were a bit over priced.

My First pair of kickbooty tech ... over a year old and still look great. Found them on sale so picked up a second pair. These ... wear like steal! I use them for yoga on colder days, but usually just for every day running around in the colder months...great option over jeans. I am 5' 8" 145. usually wear a 10..The regular large fits perfect. I do order some items in tall but the tall in this ... 6 inches too long!

GREAT ...
I love these ... have them in several colors. They are the perfect winter weight; not too heavy and not too light. I wear them for errands, walks and outdoor activities all winter long - they are my go to ... They look and fit so well I can even wear them out to a casual evening dinner with a nice sweater. They could be worn on a warmer sunny winter day for snow shoeing or XC skiing but they are not for intense cold winter sports. They come out of the washer and dryer perfectly. I am 5'7 1/2" and 127 and the tall small fit perfectly (with a bit of hemming which the store offers at no charge). The regular length was about an inch too short. I highly recommend these ... just bought another couple pair on sale to have in stock for next winter.

I practically LIVE in these!
I ordered 2 pair of these in Medium because the sale price was so fantastic. The first pair fit PERFECTLY as only the Kickbooty product line can. The second pair would barely pull on over my thighs. I returned this second pair (perhaps mislabeled?) in exchange for a different pair of Medium. The Athleta return/exchange policy and process is very easy, and my new pair is on the way. I'm actually wearing the "correct" pair right this moment, and I cannot begin to explain how comfortable, flattering, and warm they are. They are sort of "fuzzy" on the inside, which is very comforting. I think they would be too warm for indoor activities like Yoga or a gym workout, but they are perfect for outdoor cold weather activity. They are also great for simply "lounging around the house". I'm 5'8 and weigh 165, and the Medium in the entire Kickbooty line is perfect for me. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Love these!
I have wanted these for a few years, but every time they went on sale they sold out of my ... instantly. This year they went on sale and had my ... so I ordered 2 pairs, 1 black and 1 gray. OMG! They are better than I could have ever imagined. I knew that I'd love the tech stretch and the fit, I live in yoga ... since I'm a mom of 2 small kids and also am fairly active. I needed the winter version since I live in the mountains and these totally fit the bill. I like the winter ized version. I'm happy that I don't have to just wear my fleece tights now if I want to be warm and stylish while going to town or shopping. Athleta winter wear is by far my favorite cold season go to clothes. I have numerous winter skirts and now these. Keep making fabulous cute winter active wear. I do have one small complaint, why no drawstring? my skirts all have a drawstring, but these don't so I do have to pull them up now and then, not a huge deal, but still kinda annoying.

"Tech" Means Thicker Material - BEWARE
I am 5'8" 165 lbs (Athletic Build) ... 8/10 bottoms and ordered the Medium Tall. They are 1" too long, but prefer this length over the regular length. I ordered the Navy in M Tall because they were on sale. I didn't realize that the TECH meant these were thicker material vs. the regular Kick Booty ... own. However, this isn't necessarily a bad thing, I just didn't realize the fabric was thicker - intended for outside exercise. I did wear these to play volleyball and to the gym and didn't get too warm wearing them indoors. The black and gray just went on sale and I ordered both colors in my ...

Great winter ...
I just started to order from Athleta and these ... fabulous! I live in Chicago so it's gets cold here. These ... keep you warm. I ordered a petite XXS and its fits snug but not too tight. Would have wanted thigh area to be a bit more snug. It is a straight leg fit. Length is perfect. I am 5'2" and 93 lbs, waist 25" and hips 33". Thought about trying XS petite for little extra space, but after wearing the XXS, I was fine and comfortable. I would order a few more pairs if they go on sale.

fantastic ...
I had pretty much given up on ordering these because the reviews were so mixed. I just couldn't figure out what ... order! then, on a whim, I decided to give these a try, and I am SO GLAD I did. These are everything I had hoped they would be, and more! The light fleece lining is warm & cozy; the outer material is thick and good quality; the stitching on the butt is flattering. The fit is absolutely PERFECT -- exactly what I wanted. I am 5'4", 114 lbs. My hips are about 34". My thighs are muscular and sometimes "skinny" ... fit me everywhere except the thighs. I wanted these to be fitted but not skintight. The Small Petite was exactly right for me. These have a very low rise, which I absolutely love, & the "waist" band fits me perfectly when resting on my hips. Maybe those people who complained about how "big" the top is have no hips? I have no other explanation bc/the fit is perfect on me. The length is exactly what I wanted: covers the top of the sneakers comfortably without dragging. Once again, Athleta delivers with a fantastic product. I bought the "aubergine" (which is really more like a maroon than a deep purple) on sale, but I think even at full price, these would be worth it.

So fabulous!
I just got these yesterday, put them on and went nordic skiing right away. It was one of those blue sky but windy/ cold days and these ... were perfect. Great stretch and freedom of movement - they are super flattering, comfortable & warm. This morning I wore them to take the dog for a walk. I was unsure what ... but went for the small petite and they fit perfect. Not too tight & I would not have wanted the next ... up (and I am often a medium) I am 5" 3 & 119 lbs. Got the Aubergine since it was on sale and love it!

First time buyer of the dipper pant. I ordered the tall which was way too long (true 35 inseam). The color is a (deep mauve) purple/gray hue. It is surprising not hard to coordinate. The legs are wide especially at the bottom. It has a boot cut. They are super soft, flexible and on sale make them a good casual pant!

PERFECT Fit!
As I've said before, I wait for Athleta Sales, and to get these great ... SALE PLUS have them fit is a fabulous combination. I'm 5'10-ish with a 36" inseam, so finding ... long enough is my biggest challenge. Not only are these long enough, but they fit my less than-curvy shape really well, and thanks to one review that mentioned the Cornerstone color having a purple cast to it, I knew what to expect when selecting that as well. Every time I order something from Athleta, it becomes my new favorite garment, and these ... no exception!

Happy Surprise!
I am blown over by these pants. I am 5'2" + and 117 lbs with an athletic build, not much curves going on here! I have the shorts and bermudas in the cords and love them. I saw the sale and decided to try the Dippers as per the reviews(very helpful). I anticipated that they would be too big or that the rise would be too high ( I have a short torso). So , I ordered the 2P and they were perfect. The Petite Collection is spot on for me in adjusting the length of pants and the rise. I will order more of these, when the other colors go on sale or if I just can't wait.

Beautiful cords!
So glad I scored these during the summer sale! It's tough to get excited about cords in the south during July, but I've been looking at these for quite a while and the sale price tipped the scale. A wonderful deal and gorgeous plum color that will jazz up some dreary winter days. Fit amazingly - it's as though the Athleta designers snuck in my room while I was sleeping to take my measurements. Great pair of pants!

I've been looking at these pants for months and finally bought them on sale. I bought the purple and they look great. The color is fun and flattering. The fit is great and the pants are comfy. I normally wear a size 4 and the 4 fit great. I am 5'6 and a muscular 130 lbs. I can't wait to rock these when the cool weather hits in the fall

Wonderful pants
I love the dipper pants, and when these went on sale I decided to give them a try. I love them, all the great fit of the Dipper, but a bit more substantial for winter wear. As with all my Dipper pants, I cut out the drawstring - not sure why its there, but I don't need it and think the pants lay smoother without it. If there are other colors in my size I'm going to get them while they are on sale!

Since the corduroy was on sale i had to try it. i listened to the reviews about the sizing running big. i'm 5'5" 127#. i usually wear a size 6 in khakis and size 4 in denim. so i ordered the 4 regular. i thought the petite might be too short and i can always hem the regular. the 4 fit great. love the pockets and the line of the leg. i will have to hem but at the on sale price, it's a steal!

nice ...
These ... have a nice fit, altho the rise is a bit higher than I'm used to. The fabric is very heavy, but stretchy and comfy. I would like to try the regular Dipper ... now. I will wear these next fall, cant wait! I bought these on sale, I dont think I would pay full price for these...quite expensive, but excellent quality.

Boy are they LONG
Love them. The green is a really nice almost olive color. I am 5' 6" with an athletic build. Not fat but not skinny. I don't really have hips.Got them in a 6. They look great, but are LONG. I will see how much getting them hemmed will run $$$, If it is more than $10, it turns an already expensive pair (even on sale) pair of ... into a not worth the price pair of ... Kinda sad they are so long.

got lucky with these ones!
i was looking for cords in an aubergine color but this year athleta did not seem to have them. but they did have them on sale, which was great since i don't like paying full price for anything and the dipper cords are a bit past my budget. i usually wear an 8 but have noticed that i've been wearing 6 in a lot of brands lately (vanity sizing? i don't think i've really lost weight). the only sale pants happened to be aubergine in a 6 Long so i took a chance and... perfect! well, a bit too long as expected but i can hem them (i'm 5'8", somewhere between Reg. and Long, but want to wear wedges with them). the waist is a bit higher than i normally like but it fits perfectly; i just took out the drawstring as i don't need it. i wanted my pants a bit snug because i need something to lift my bum a bit. i'm a bit thinner in hips and butt than i'd like so i only buy pants with back flap pockets which seem to accentuate what little butt i've got. even the D ring, though it might get in the way i'm not sure, helps make my rear end look great and lifted! so a snug fit with the flap pockets did the trick and i can live with a slightly higher waist. usually the lower slung waists stick out anyway and this one is fine even w/o the tie. i also like the pocket on the leg and the color is just what i was looking for, and on sale! great athleta quality as usual.

not for me :(
I was extemely excited when I saw these pants on sale, but when I got them they didn't fit very well. I am a tough person to buy ... am 5'1", 130, and built very curvy. They fit OK but I did not think they were flattering at an 8P. They would be great for someone with less hip and rear! The dresses have always fit me great and I am still going to give the belted snowpants a try.

Classic White Linen ...
So I live in Hawaii and also peri menopausal...which means I can only take lycra, polyester and any synthetic fabric in my ... so long before I start behaving like any hormonally imbalanced woman with hot flashes; not good. I love the soothing feel of 100% linen, and who doesnt love classic white linen? I ordered these ... sale price and was unsure of the pockets. Yes, you can see the backside of the pockets somewhat, and the little zippers to them are a bit unusual but these ... well made, and of a nice medium weight linen. I am happy to own them even with those little details. ... somewhat tailored version of the loose bohemian white linen ... fit true to ... Comfortable!

Love these ...
I first got the olive green, and loved ... so much I then ordered the white. I died the white a dirty eggplant, only because I have a pair of white linen ... already. These are a great solid feeling fabric. One could easily wear these all summer and fall, I think. Very cozy! I wear ... all the time now, almost feel like pjs, ... so comfy, and yet look good. Can't beat the price on sale!

Just buy them.
I bought these ... ( on sale) in every color. I can't imagine a better pair of casual, warm weather ... can be dressed up or down. The asphalt color is is great shade of blue/gray that goes with just about anything. Pair it with a tank top, cute little sweater, sweatshirt, flip flops, flats, sneakers..the list goes on and on. I wear between a 6 and 8 in athleta ... am 5'51/2 and 130 lbs. I ordered the 8s because I like ... like this a bit shlumpy/baggy. Probably should have ordered the 6 but I really don't like tight clothes around my belly. The length is fabulously long and ... can be cinched at the ankle. The waist has ties to help pull it all together on "thinner days". All in all, one of the best purchases I've made from Athleta in a long time. Buy them.

I own two pace ... already, following the reviews I got 1 ... up, and ... fit perfectly. I guess because it is linen is better to get one ... up too... I would recommend it to women who need more space in the" back" In my case that is always a problem but these ... fit perfect, I do not think it would be the same for flat backs" For the price on sale I would not even think about it, get one!

These ... perfect
These are soooo comfy. As rated above they're pretty much perfect. With them being 100 percent linen I was a little concerned that they'd shrink/be super wrinkled as soon as I washed them but I followed the directions and ... didn't shrink a bit and were the perfect amount of wrinkled to be cute and not need to be ironed. These ... great for spring & fall and soooo cute with a black tank & flip flops in summer. Buy these right away, especially if ... still on sale!!!!!

I'm thrilled with these ... So happy with them that I've ordered six more in all colors, except white. I love ... most comfortable ... I've ever worn, like pajamas. The linen is a great weight and can be worn year round. I usually wear a 12, but got these in 14 to allow for any shrinkage. Mine did not shrink, and ... went in the dryer. I'm 5'7" and got the regular length, which is nice. I like the drawstring bottom. After wearing these ... my old stand by denim jeans are not being worn, as they're not nearly as comfortable. These are well made too. The sale price is super. If you like linen, go for it.

Comfortable ... Got the 2P ... I'm 5'1", 119 lbs. Fits well. A little long for my legs, but the drawstrings allow you to adjust. ... loosen up a bit as you wear them. Waist has drawsting too so you can adjust this as well. I'm happy with this purchase at the sale price (on sale).

LOVE this ... once I got the right ...
I ordered the Pace ... last season in green and LOVE it! I did have to order up a ... (I'm 5'6", 150lbs and usually wear a ... 10, but had to return ... 12). I ordered 3 more when the went on sale this season and only one of ... fit me right. The blue and white were very snug, while the charcoal fit me great (like the original green ones). My second time wearing the charcoal, though, the snap broke. I called Athleta and ... sent me a new pair, not problem. So, even though I had to get a different ... return a pair with a broken snap, I LOVE this ... Perfect for warm weather, travel, even work on a casual day.

Great alternative to jeans very comfortable. ... linen so naturally ... alittle wrinkley just flatten and hang when wet and ... come out fine . I am 5'4' 116 lbs with muscular thighs and a ... 2 fit great. ... slighty snug in the thigh but fit nice and stretch slighty when worn.Yes ... long but just tie ... above the ankle and ... drape down or roll ... up very cute.

I think I'd love these if I'd ordered up a ... I'm 5'5", 133lbs, athletic build. I should have thought to order up based on the style of the ... should be a little bit loose, rather than fitted. I didn't send them back though... I'll either get used to them, lose a couple of lbs or pass them on to one of my kids... since I paid sale price, I wasn't pressed to return/exchange.

Lots of Compliments!
At 5'3" and 112#, it has always been difficult to find a ski pant that fits. These are "almost perfect". I tried a size 4P, which was too big everywhere. Exchanged for a 2P (they do not offer this one in a zero, but I think that would have been better) which is a perfect length, but a little large in hips and waist. They are advertised as easy to alter, but I have not tackled it yet. I washed them once so far, following the directions and they came out like new! They are very comfortable; I love this fabric. They keep their shape. They stand up to Pacific Northwest ski conditions, which covers a wide temp. range and very wet to warm and sunny! They kept me dry and warm, with minimal layering. I like the front and back zip pockets. I have never had compliments on a pair of black ski pants before. The design is eye catching. Several women have complimented the fit and the design! I hope to have them altered for a truly perfect fit, and to request them in a size 0P. I would definitely purchase another pair of these. Maybe the black ones could also go on sale once in awhile! They are a bit spendy, but so far worth it!

Great Pants
Fit like Gap Jeans (meaning I should not have erred on the side of caution and bought a 10 - I always buy bigger for ski pants), the 8 would have been better. They are pretty sexy pants actually, and were warm enough in NC to wear without an additional layer. I'm 5'11, and have had a really hard time getting a pair of ski pants at a decent length. They usually look silly on me sitting at a weird place on my boots, these were perfect!!! If you're tall, you'll love them, but buy them in your correct size not a size up. PS- I got them on sale last year for [$] Wish they had more colors, and designs with same sizing! I would buy more and pay full price to boot. Honestly they're just great ski pants. Soft, Comfy, Well Made.

Fabulous style
These are the best looking ski pants I've seen. Love the details: exposed zippers, decoration, high waist to keep out snow. As other reviewers note, while the pants are soft and comfortable, they are not the warmest so allow room for layers beneath. My normal size 6 was tighter in the thighs and looser in the waist (gaps in back) than typical, so beware if you have muscular quads that you may need to size up. Regular length is perfect for my 5'5" height. Sale price made it a great buy!

Super cool pant, but seems small and not geared for serious skiing
LOVE the styling on this pant - definitely the coolest ski pant I've ever purchased. Two warnings - I ordered a size 8 tall (I am 5'8" and 150lbs - usually I have to hem Athleta tall pants up by 1", but the regulars are usually too short) and the size 8 was very snug through the waist, rear and thighs (and I'm a pretty 'straight' build). I am typically a standard size 8 in all Athleta/Gap clothes, so I was surprised by the fit - I definitely would only be able to put on a pair of slim silks under these pants, not a fleece layer. I am holding on to the pants, and ordering a size 10, just to see how the fit runs, because these are seriously cute pants, and I'm hoping to add them to my winter sports wardrobe. The other warning is that these are probably not what I would wear for a hard day of skiing - they do not have the typical nylon outer shell, and they do not seem like they would hold up in serious conditions - that being said, for a fun, sunny afternoon ski, or for snowshoeing or other winter fun, these would be perfect. Crossing my fingers that I can find a good fit!!

I just received this skirt in the deep mauve. I already had it in black. This skirt is so comfortable and flattering. I feel it runs a bit short, so I ordered the tall in the deep mauve. Love the color. It looks great with boots. I usually wear a 6 or medium in Athleta skirts and this fit true to ... Couldn't pass it up since it was on sale.

Love This Versatile Skirt!!
I ordered 2 of these on sale, and couldn't be happier - they're perfect for everything - work, casual wear, or even can be dressed up for a night out. They fit great, and have a bit of stretch so they hold their shape. The details like snaps, stitching and zippers (front center and back pockets) are high quality, and they seem like they'll hold up well over time. They way this skirt is cut has a really slimming effect - a couple of folks asked if I'd lost weight or been working out extra! Yay!

I liked it the first time....
I now own 4 of these skirts. As in FOUR. I bought one. Then another. Then it went on sale so now I have 4. It is a great skirt for over exercise tights, with boots and all those days when you can't stand to put on jeans one more time. I am tiny-- but very old. This skirt makes me feel good and look ... fine. I have the 0 regular and its not too short and not one bit "goddess" ...

Great Cord skirt!
Loved the shape and fit of this cord skirt. Way more cute and flattering than the Whenever cord skirt. I was worried because it is a more straight cut and I am more curvy figure. But, it was fine and it was not too tight in the rear. The waistband sits flat, so it looks nice under tighter sweaters or tops. I am between an 8 and a 10 on the ... chart, but took the chance and ordered the 8. It fit perfectly. I am 5'4", 135 lbs. I initially ordered the purple color (it was on sale). It was super bright purple (not muted like in the color swatch). Not that such a bright color was bad, I just had a hard time finding stuff to go with it, so I returned it and got the black color. Overall, a very cute, very flattering skirt. Hope they make more color choices next year!

Loved this skirt, but too big

Nice skirt
I do have to yank it down a bit as it rides up slightly when walking (plus I like it to cover my legs a bit since it is a mini), but it's a really cute skirt and hugs in all the right places. Well worth the sale price. I'm 5'3" and 120# and the 6 regular was great.

Cute
I had to return this to get a smaller ... however, the waist is still strangely big for the rest of the skirt. I have to yank the skirt down otherwise, there would be a gap in the waist. Because of this, I have to wear a sweater that is not tucked in but not a reason to return it for the sale price I paid. Very cute with tights.

Cute skirt
This skirt was on sale so I thought I would check it out. I am 5' and 100lb and ordered both the 0 Regular and 2 Petite. I ended up keeping the 0 Regular because the 2 was too big and the regular length worked out for me. That is my one big complaint with Athleta (and other retailers) --Petites need smaller ... too! Love the skirt, well worth the sale price.

Cute - but not for me
I was lured to this skirt when it went on sale. Love the look, but it didn't work on my curvy shape. I have the knit strata skirt which has been awesome, and I think that stretchy knit fabric works better on curvy types than this less stretchy cord material. Wanted to like it, but it just wasn't the right fit.

good quality skirt
I ordered a 8pet. but had to go down a size and the 6pet. fit perfectly. The length was just where I wanted. I am 5ft. and weigh 123. Very comfortable and the details help tailor the look. It is great with leggings. I will get alot of use out of this skirt and being on sale made it even better.

This is a fabulous skirt for fall and winter. Like so many other reviewers, I found that one was not enough. I am 48 and don't want to waer skirts that look like I have raided my daughter's wardrobe, but I don't want grandma clothes, either. (Apologies to the active grandmas out there!) This skirt is perfect. I am 5'6" and 120# w/ a 27" waist, and the size 4 fits well.

Nice
I really like everything about this skirt with regards to length, fabric and quality for the sale price I paid. I work in an office and pair it with tights and knee high boots. Love the look. The only downside is that it is not lined so it rides up the legs and requires a slip. Because of the length, you have to be creative or find a short slip (if one exists). Also, the waist is strangely bigger than it should be so I need to yank the skirt down otherwise, there would be a gap at the waist. I bought 2 colors (olive and tan) and I have gotten a lot of wear out of them both.

Velvet Skirt in olive
I originally ordered this skirt in 0 as I wear 0 in all ... Athleta. The skirt was way too tight. I revisited this skirt when it was on sale and ordered a 2 and 4 to have the comparison and in case the 2 was still too small. When the skirts came I opened the 2 and it looked kind of big. I compared them with the 4 and there was basically no difference in the hip or waist width. The 2 was a tiny little bit shorter than the 4. I checked if maybe a 4 was put into the bag of the size 2 skirt, but the labels clearly said 2 and 4. Kind of strange. With this said, the 2 feels a little bit bigger than I would have thought the 2 would have to fit, but it is wearable. Could be a little bit tighter in the waist. Tried using the inside tie, but that just tightens up the string, but leaves the waistband wide which then leaves a gap between the skirt and your body. I wear it a little bit lower so that the waistband sits at my pelvisbone which gives me the length being right above my knee, so it's office appropraite. Wore it with microfiber tights and the skirt rides up which is really annoying. Tried with a more silky material pantyhose and it is much better, but still rides up when walking fast (which I usually do). Guess I will wear a slip with it as this solves the problem completely. Would have been nice if the skirt had a lining to begin with. I kept the skirt despite the sizing and other issues, because I really wanted this color (it works with wardrobe pieces I have) and I got it on sale. It is a neutral piece for your wardrobe that can be worn from late summer throughout winter into spring.

So cute... but what''s with that strange drawstring in the waist PLUS a zipper and snaps?
I just love this cute pinwale cord skirt. I wasn't certain it would fit since I have a little junk in the trunk but it did! I have come to wearing skirts late in life (60 years old) and could not wait for it to go on sale so I bought it anyway. I love everything about it EXCEPT.... it has a very strange inner drawstring in the waist. If it was only the drawstring to cinch it up that would have been fine. But it also has a zipper and snaps so if you tighten the drawstring it tends to have a big gap at the waist in the front. Not the best look. Because it runs large in the waist I will probably have it taken in.And remove that pesky drawstring.

Great skirt for travel or casual work
I bought this skirt because I have several of the whatever skorts that I love. This skirt has the same fit as the skort, just no shorts. It is soft fabric and works well with tights and boots. I would order another color if it were still on sale!

i love it & feel comfy in it
i have this in pink & black. received many compliments on it & i felt so happy in it- maybe b/c it kind of flips up on the ends- i am 40 & felt like a little girl a bit. it was a cool experience. anyway, back to the skirt- i love it so much, i bought the skort version that was on sale. all the positive reviews were right. i am a 6, but with a mom bulge & this still fit b/c of the stretch.love it!! TOTALLY WORTH THE PRICE. i will be wearing this for a really long time

Just got this today in rye 4P and love the style, color and fit. Wish it were an inch or two longer for cooler weather, however! I'm 5'2, 115 lbs and skirt hits about 2 inches above my knee. Would be cute with leggings and boots. If Athleta had more colors on sale I'd probably get another.

LIghtweight corduroy
I have to compliment Athleta's customer service, which I found to be very helpful. When I first purchased this skirt, I bought the 2P, as I am 5'2" and about 110lbs. It was much shorter than the length listed on the website. When I called the company, I was told that each size has a slightly different length, which I wish they would warn buyers about on their site. However, knowing that, I will, in future, just call to get the exact length of the skirt I am considering. They were very nice about helping me with that and very patient as well, while I tried to figure out what size I needed. The skirt itself is cute and fits well. It is a very lightweight corduroy, which is nice and not bulky. I am glad that I got it on sale, as I think most of Athleta's prices are very high for what you are getting. I think I will be able to wear this skirt in the Fall, Winter and Spring. It will be cute with tights and boots, as well as ballet flats.

cute and comfy for everyday wear
I bought the skirt in asphalt -- a beautiful gray with a touch of blue that goes well with almost anything in my closet. I bought a size 8 (5'5", 140, slightly curvy hips) and it was perfect with just a pinch of extra room in the waist. The fit is very flattering -- slims the waist and minimizes the hips. The only downfall is that the stretchy fabric tends to bunch and wrinkle along the seams of the pleats, where the skirt flares at the bottom. Ok for casual wear, but I needed to iron it before wearing it to work. Overall, I like the skirt and would consider buying another color if they go on sale again.

Really wanted to love it...
I kept waiting for this skirt to show up online in my size at the sale price, and when it finally did, I jumped at it. I'm normally a size 12 in Athleta pants and went to a size 10 in this skirt. I'm 5'7", 145 pounds. The material was a lightweight cord and looked like it would hold up well. Unfortunately, for me, the fit of this skirt was off almost everywhere. The hips actually fit fine but the waist was huge. I used the drawstrings which gathered too much fabric and it was noticeably bunched. The bottom flared out too much and made me look heavier than normal. If it would have been just a bit more fitted, I likely would have kept it. Unfortunately, there were too many things wrong and I sadly sent it back.

Glad they were on sale
I purchased these b/c I wanted capris that were loose at the calf. The purple was on sale, which was great. I have received several compliments on them. I use them for yoga and for cycle class. Great for both.

Love them
I am 5'1" and 110 lbs. I ordered a small petite. They are perfect. I great length and not too tight. So comfy for yoga not to much bulk around the knee like some other capris. When the go on sale I will definitely order more colors!

My new favorite pant
I spend a lot of time in my comfy yoga and workout clothes. These are wonderful. They are comfy, flattering and perfect for floor work. I will get a great deal of wear out of these babies, I can already tell.

I bought two
They don't pile if you don't put them in a hot dryer. They air dry so quickly and look brand new. I have two pair, one for the gym and the other for hiking and rock climbing. The stitching is incredibly flattering, I swear they take 10 pounds off my butt. I also love the diagonal split in the back, very eye catching and flattering. I never have to pull or adjust these on me, they stay in place. I'm about 142, 5.6 with most of my weight in my solid butt and legs and the mediums are perfect! I love Athleta for making clothes for more athletic builds- women who have more muscular legs and an actual waistline. Thank you Athleta! Please don't change your cut as you can buy clothes for the rest of the body types from a zillion other places. PLEASE DON'T CHANGE.

Great capris!!!
I have had my Anandas for about 3 months now and absolutely love them! I am a size 8 and ordered the size medium and they fit perfectly, so size is true to size! I also like that the waist is a slight bit higher than some of the other gym capris I have had from other manufacturers and therefore I spend more time doing my workouts rather than pulling my pants up!! I spin in them, do normal gym workouts, including cardio and conditioning as well as pilates on the reformers with them. It ALL works! As a final note.. they wash well! I wash them in with the rest of my gym clothes on a delicate cycle and then air dry them! Perfect every time and they don't take long to dry! I JUST ordered another pair!!!!!

great everyday capri
These are a great capri for wearing around town and also would be great for hiking, walking or a casual bike ride. I am 5'4" and 130 lbs, ordered the size 4 regular and it fits perfectly. I am sick of low rise pants and am loving the mid rise on these. I wish they had more colors available in my size at the sale price.

Great capris
I had a pair in black, took them on vacation & they were great. Pockets in useful places. Comfortable so I saw them on sale and wanted to get other colors. I can't wait to wear them when it is warmer here.

just what I wanted execpt the color
I have wanted to buy a pair of these capris for awhile, but black in my size hasn't been available. I bought "dawn", hoping it would be more grey than purple, but they are definitely purple sort of pastel. Pretty, but not for me. I will keep the pants and maybe use rit dye to make them dark grey or black? I love the fit I got a 6 and that is generally what I buy in most clothes that are made for "women" (not misses without hips!). I am 5'6, 140 lbs, failry muscular. I do have a big butt and thighs, but there is enough stretch to fit nicely. I will use these all summer for going to the park with my son, walking the dog or taking both on hikes. The pockets are a little short, but longer would have added more bulk. Plus, with the pocket on the thigh and another on the top/back on the pants, I will have enough room for a key, ID and a baggy to pick up after my dog! perfect pants and if I see them in black, I will order another pair.

Very Cute!
Great looking capri in black color and super flattering. I'm so glad I bought them (especially in the sale). I followed the helpful reviews and got the size 2, a smaller size than my usual 4. I'm 5 feet, 117 lbs and the fit and length were perfect. The fabric is a nice quality and I think these pants will last a long time.

Can''t get enough of these
I'm 5'6", weigh 115lbs, with an athletic build. I ordered these pants in black in size 0 and wore them a ton! They are stylish capris that can be used for hiking, commuter biking, and general hanging out. They are comfortable and versatile. Really, they are very cool! However, they shrunk gradually with each consecutive wash but because of the stretch, they still work. It's important to note that my weight did NOT change, nor did other clothes change fit! I ordered a second pair in size 2 (first time ever with Athleta ... which are a little big, but I'm looking forward to them gradually shrinking as well...but I refuse to go up to a size 4!

Bought a second pair
I bought the first pair last summer, and liked them enough that I bought another when they went on sale. They do run a little narrow through the hips, as other reviews have noted, but I often have to size up in Athleta, and this was no exception to that rule. I usually wear a 6 in Gap pants (5'6, 140, hourglass figure), but an 8 in these fit perfectly. The only thing I don't like is the zipper, button, hook combination at the waistline - it's tough to get these on/off in a hurry, and is a bit of a process. They can also get a little too hot to wear when the weather gets really warm. I bought the olive color first - it's a great neutral, not too green, and also like the light khaki color I ordered the 2nd time around.

Nice but hiking?
I originally ordered these in a size 10 (going with the measurements given and what I've ordered before with Athleta). I'm 5'7" and weigh 145 and the 10 was way too small. I wasn't really happy with the fabric either but needed another pair of capris so returned them and got the 12's. The 12s fit perfectly but the fabric is surprisingly heavy and kind of stiff (even after mulitply washings). I don't think I'd wear these hiking on a hot day and, honestly, who'd wear capris on a cold day? They are fine for just running around town/ going for a walk but nothing strenuous. Glad they were on sale . . .

Love the capris
They are light weight and cool. Because I'm curvy, I usually have problems with clothes fitting but not with these. They were just right. My only question has to do with the drawstring. I'm not sure I can explain it. The pants have a button tab on the inside waistband and a hook/eye closer on the outside. If you use the drawstring, it interferes with the button and hook/eye combo.

The pant is like the rest of the clothes made out of the best quality! However, it is a small size 4 and that is the size I used to used.

Wanted to love these...
I've had my eye on these capris for a while now and was excited when they went on sale and ordered two pair. The brown was a nice chocolate brown, but I found the dawn - which some reviews described as a "good neutral" to be more of a bright purple. I really wanted to love these capris but sent them back for a few reasons. First, they were a pain to fasten - they have a side button, metal clasps and draw string. Too high maintenance. Second, the length was neither here nor there - wish they hit right below the knee. Lastly they seemed tight in the waist, but loose in the rear - I'm pretty curvy in the rear too and so it takes a lot to get something that is loose in that area.

The styling is cute.
These capris are a great, edgy style. My only complaint is that the fabric is a bit thin, leaving one with underwear lines even with a no pany line promise style underwear. I got mine on sale, and at this point just plan to over look this as I otherwise really like the fit. I'm 5'10", 133lbs and the 4T fits perfectly.

better the second time around
I ordered this exact same jacket a year and a half ago in a small, based on some reviews at the time that said it ran a tiny bit big. I wore it, ... always felt the sleeves were too tight on me (I am 5'8, 145 pounds). ... looked so great I just made sure I wore thin shirts!! Then someone dropped cigarette ash on the sleeve as I was walking down the street in the city, and it burned a hole in the sleeve! I STILL wouldn't give it up, until the jacket went on sale. I ordered it in a medium this time, and the arms are more comfortable and no more burned sleeve! Needless to say, I think it's true to ... looks great, surprisingly warm, and functional. My one complaint is I wish the pockets weren't mesh. ... should be lined in the same fleece as the jacket to keep hands warm, the mesh does NOTHING--except keep your keys.

This is a perfect jacket
Not too heavy, not too light, fits well. The ... S was perfect for me (5'9", 120 lbs). I ordered it in the brown /taupe color because that was the one on sale, although I would have preferred either the black or charcoal, ... now that I have it, I really like the color.

Very pleased
I got this jacket not really knowing what to expect. The reviews all differed greatly. The material is much softer and a bit thicker than it looked in the picture. I like it better in person than in the picture actually. It is very soft and warm. I got the Falcon color and really like it because it is neutral and goes with everything. I am about 5'7" and 140# with athletic build and went with a Medium. Probably could have done a small ... then the arms might have been too tight. I would rather have it a little loose than tight! Overall, very pleased and got it at a great sale price!!

Is it wrong to love a coat?!
I love the light weight, softness and warmth of fleece, ... often want a dressier look than the zip up style that you usually see in fleece jackets. This coat is the PERFECT solution! I hesitated to buy it at first because I usually need a 3x thru the bust & shoulders in anything structured, and Athleta plus ... only go up to 2x. (That's not really a complaint - stylish plus ... activewear is hard to find, so I'm thrilled that Athleta offers it at all!) I'm so glad I took a chance on it, though - it's incredibly soft and comfortable, not to mention versatile! The 2x is a bit tight for me in the bust, as I expected (I wear a 42DDD bra), ... actually fits perfectly in the shoulders. Since the coat isn't quite warm enough for really freezing weather anyway, I'm usually fine buttoning only the third set of buttons, which leaves room in the chest, shows off a pretty scarf, and has the advantage of making my waist look extra defined. The length is good, even for a tall gal (I'm 5'11"), AND the sleeves are long enough - hallelujah! All in all, I'm in love with this coat! It's so great that after buying the Falcon color on sale, I'm strongly considering paying full price for the black version!

Sleeves aren''t perfect...
Read lots of reviews and ordered a medium, which is typically what works for me. Very happy with the ... overall style and quality, ... somebody else said about the sleeves is true: Because ... not lined and are rather slim, you can't slip in your arms as easily as with a lined coat. I'm thinking I'll love wearing it over short sleeves in the transitional time between real winter and real spring! Since I got it on sale, I'm satisfied:)

got this jacket in two ... (xs/s) and decided to keep the S. I am 5'3 with athletic arms, so the S fit great! the jacket is great for casual wear for cold weather days. glad I bought this, and saved a $ by getting it on sale! (4 stars due to the snug arm fit)

Cute - ... didn''t work for me
I wish it had - after reading the reviews of "freakishly long" sleeves, I was hopeful. And the sale price is a great deal! I'm 6'2" and ordered a medium and large to compare ... large was too wide - the medium fit except it realy needed to be at least 3 inces longer to look right on my tall frame. The arms were indeed long (almost long enough)- I would have made do with the arm length if the body had just been a few inches longer. I wish it was available in Tall.

Very nice jacket
I wanted so bad to buy this jacket the first time it came out, over a year ago, ... way too pricy. When it went on sale some weeks ago, I ordered it in Flacon and must say I’m very happy with it. I'm 5'4" tall, about 150lbs, wide hips, generally order an 8 (or Medium) with Athleta. A couple of notes: my jacket did not smell at all. It is very very comfy and soft, the sleeves on the medium come in a perfect length, as the rest of the jacket (I’m sure that adding a lining to ... would really help.) You can wear it to go to work, to yoga, shopping. It’s versatile, casual, ... don’t see it as a coat that you can dress up with. Maybe it depends on the color. I'm also glad I bought it on sale :)

Not my favorite...but keeping anyway
This jacket is WARM, which I wanted. However, it is a weird bulky shape from the waist down. I'm guessing it's because the material is so thick and therefore the seams make it bulky looking. I got the Falcon color to match my same color Bettona ... Let's just get the color right Athleta and call it what it is -- "MUD" color. Looks nice with Black ... can't imagine any other color with it. I have long arms and ample chest so I needed the ... Large - however, from the waist down I could have used a smaller ... prefer to keep the jacket snapped, ... just know it makes the chest area look bulky too. I'm keeping it though because it matches my ... sale. I really want the Swara jacket now, ... very limited.

Cat hair, stains, oh my!
5'4", 135lbs, 34C, big arms. Like the small because of length ... too tight in chest and arm area. Medium a bit loose and longer ... better fit and would allow pairing with thicker tops. About the title, although on sale, the other colors (non black) were very drab. ORDER #1 black: this garment had animal fur throughout. ORDER #2 black: this garment had animal fur with an added level of ew of dried mucous stains. Both garments had tags affixed, etc. ... wow to pay full price and have to deal with that was kinda sad....

Paid full price and regret not a penny!
I paid full price for this jacket over 6 months ago, and have NOT stopped getting compliments from random strangers every time I wear it! The hem falls half way to the knees, the long line and subtle shaping is very slimming, and makes me look slick, stylish and really nicely put together. I've worn it with regular jeans, Playo Dipper ... Kick Booty ... etc. and it always look perfect. I'm not a big fan of paying full price, ... 6 months (and counting) of looking good, it was totally worth it! I have the magenta/pinking lining one, and since it is on sale, am buying the bright blue lining one. You are a FOOL if you are not buying this on sale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For Petite Women!
I am 5'2" and 116 lbs with a 36A chest. The length was like a longer jacket and it was fine. The sleeves are too long, ... looks better folded so you can see the pop of color so it works out perfectly! The jacket is fitted. I cannot wear anything ... something thin underneath or it will be too tight. It's very warm so that is also okay with me. I love it and it's a deal on sale. I wish I bought another color when ... did the extra 20% off sale!!!! Perfect for chilly mornings and walks with just a scarf!

great jacket to cover your "assets"
I ordered this jacket when it went on sale, and its great!! its perfect length for sitting on the bleachers or a brisk morning walk. its super flattering and cozy and washes well too!!

Exactly what I wanted
I was looking for a decent priced (which on sale this was!) non sweatshirt of a longer length for fall/winter that wasn't boring. Love the hood lined with the contrasting color. Super comfortable without looking like pajamas. Everything fit as expected. Hate the cold weather coming, ... excited about having this piece to wear.

Finally - What I''ve been looking for!
Just received this jacket, after looking for something appropriate and feminine to use back/forth to the gym for YEARS. It's very flattering, covers my hips, and is going to be great when the weather turns cool. I hestitated for a while in ordering because of the non sale price, ... pounced when it went on sale. I ordered a medium, which turned out to be correct for me, as I am a curvy 5'3", 128 pounds, 32D bra. The sleeves are too long, ... look cute when I roll ... back and show the contrast color. I'm a petite, ... jacket is a good length for me. I just hope it launders well!

Worth the cash
I bought this jacket last season when it wasn't on sale. It was more than I preferred to pay ... don't get to the store too often with my uncooperative 3-year old. I was thinking "if it doesn't work out, all it will cost me is return shipping." I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is wonderful! In and out of the car is easy because it has 2 zippers; I just give myself a little more leg room. To/from gym also easy because it's soft fleece inside so I can pull it on over a tank or long sleeve tee either way no fuss no muss. Last winter and spring I also layered it under a down parka (knee length parka), and that made it extra warm and super flexible. Magenta was my first choice and it was sold out in medium so I opted for grey/aqua and it complements my blue eyes very nicely. I'm 5'5 and the length sits at my mid thigh. Love this jacket and very happy with it! Thank you Athleta mail order for sparing me a scene with the uncooperative toddler in a store!! :-)

Another great item
I love this jacket. It's perfect for to and from the gym. The ONLY thing that irritates me is that I get it in the mail and the next day it goes on sale. I wish there was a better way to correct that than to send it back and reorder it.

A longer hoodie
I LOVE the material of this jacket....SO SOFT!! Especially the lining. I ordered this on sale out of season, so I haven't had the opportunity to really wear and enjoy it yet, ... just by trying it on I can tell I am going to really like it! The length is definitely longer (maybe to mid thigh or below), ... think I will like that because I don't have any other jackets (that are not "dressy" jackets) that are as long as this one. Love the look of the different colored lining.

so comfy and flattering
Loved this item. Order more online than in stores so it's always nice when you receive a product you absolutely love and want to order more colors of that same style. Great fit and is very flattering which seems to be a rarity in my hiking/camping clothes. Thanks!

Awesome Jacket
I LOVE this coat. I got the brown and pink color, and it is super cute and flattering. I can see myself wearing this with workout clothes or jeans. In my opinion, well worth the money, although it is a splurge for me!

Comfy cute sweatshirt
This is a great sweatshirt that's easy to wear over work out gear or with jeans around town. I'm 5'2" and 108 lbs and ordered the xs and it fits well. The sleeves are a little long. Got it on sale as it was a little pricey prior ... love it and wear it all the time.

love this jacket
This jacket is exactly what I was hoping for. Very light weight. Perfect to wear over work out clothes when it's chilly outside or lightly raining. Love it!

Great wind shirt, bright 'happy' color, love as a topper over tanks, with casual skirt, jeans, does cut wind, not a warmth piece, so don't expect to find that here. Great sale price, easy to wash out and hang to dry, great travel piece.

Great Little Jacket
I was looking for a very light jacket to stuff in a small hip pack for short day hikes or for when it gets a little windy on the lake while kayaking. The Whisper fits the bill. I like the visibility of the the lime green color although I would have liked to have seen the reflector stripe on the back of the jacket as well . . . Other than that it stuffs down to virtually nothing and comes out practically unwrinkled. It's windproof and comfortable ... don't get this if you want something "form fitting" LOL. Lots of room to layer other clothes underneath ... kind of defeats the purpose of this type of jacket. Seems well made. Zipper is a bit stiff. I have long arms and broad shoulders (am 5'7" tall and 150 lbs) and the Large fit perfectly - the sleeves don't ride up over my wrists which was a pleasant surprise..

Great jacket
I bought this jacket on sale in the white so I could wear it for night runs too. It's really light but takes the chill off for spring runs without being bulky. The cinches on the bottom work well for making it more fitted. It isn't super loud, but not exactly a whisper either. My friends have commented that I sound sort of like a kite out for a run. :) Also - thanks, Athleta, for supporting Girls on the Run!

Great topper
I really like this for days when there is just a bit of chill in the air. It isn't too heavy, but still gives that bit of warmth you need. I did think it was a little pricey and was glad I got it on sale!

Love it, but order a ... down
All the other reviews are correct, this runs very big. I'm a ... 16, definitely cannot usually wear Athleta tops because I'm too large and my "girls" are too big. I ordered an XL and it's big on me, I probably could've done a large. I'm keeping the XL because I like it roomy, but for those of you that prefer a slim fit, definitely order down. It's definitely worth the sale price though, it will be great for travel and to keep in your purse till you need it.

runs big
After reading the reviews, I was worried about ordering this jacket. I ... down to a small (I am always a medium in Athleta - 135lb, 5'3, 36B). I was glad I did - the jacket fits perfectly. It IS a blousy jacket - that's the style of it. However, it does not look *too* big or *too* blousy on me in the small. It looks pretty much like in the picture, although it can also be worn loose at the bottom instead of cinched, which is how I wore it. I did not find it to be a "cropped" length, however I am short and often wear petite ... good length for me. I did order the white, and it is slightly sheer, but that did not bother me. I wore a bright colored camisole under it and liked it. It is extremely thin, which is exactly what I wanted. It is a jacket for sun protection in hot weather or for the beach - not a jacket for keeping warm in cold or even cool weather. I wore it in about 68degree - 75degree weather this week and was comfortable. However, it would not keep you warm even in an over airconditioned room. I wore it for jogging to keep the sun off my skin and also wore it to the mall. The only thing I don't love is the overall styling - the shape of the neckline and the strips of reflective material across the chest just don't look all that great. Still, it's a good, versatile piece - packs up to almost nothing - and the sale price is fair enough.
