Perfect ...
I was looking for ... wear for cold weather but didn't want the bulkiness that goes with ... These ... just perfect. They are comfortable and warm. I wore them in the snow for snow shoeing -sat on the snow in them and sat on cold marble and was snug and warm always. Again these are great for cold weather sports and you do not need to decide between style and comfort as you get both. Good value. Will buy another pair for myself. Already got my mother one!

Great ...
These ... wonderful! They are fitted and very comfortable. The fleece lining is so warm and cozy! I went night skiing in 25 degree temps with my family and wore the ... pair of tights underneath and I was nice and toasty. I could have even just wore the ... would have been just fine. The fit is true to size for me. I wear a 2/4 in most Athleta ... skirts. The 4 was a perfect for me. I'm 5/5 131.

Great fitting ...
Ordered this ... my daughter for a ... trip - she is generally a size 2 so I ordered the 2 and 4P - the 2 fit wonderfully! It's form fitting and very flattering - unlike the bulky ... clothes of days past. She was pleased with look/fit - and she is very particular!

Love ''em!
these ... rock. wore them on the slopes. they were comfortable and so cute! I went w 4 instead of 6P because I was worried they'd be too short w ... boots, but they're a little bit long. I also wore a layer underneath b/c I didn't want to risk being cold, but probably could've gone w/o. a perfect fit and a perfect pair of ... thanks Athleta!

Great ... skiing
I've been looking for a pair of ... actually flatter, instead of the shapeless puffy ... I'd been wearing. These ... totally fit the bill! I am 5'2" and 122 lbs and the 4P fit perfectly, with room for a base layer if it is really cold out. The waist is slightly big and the rise is a little lower than I like, but I just tucked in my base layer top, and that solved both issues. I wore them skiing twice- I was worried my legs would be cold because I forgot to bring a thin layer to wear underneath, but I was pretty comfortable. I would recommend a thin base layer only for temps below 20 degrees. Love these ...

Great ... Pants
These ... pants are great! I have an older pair from Athleta but thought I should have something new for a trip out west. The fabric of the new pair is a bit thicker wich will be nice on cold ... days. These fit great for a petitie gal! Thank goodness Athleta carries ... wear for petites. The length is great and the waist not to big, the rise is fine not too low as to let snow up your back!

long ... pants finally!
I have been looking for several years for ... long enough. ( have a 32 inch inseam.) I am very pleased with the overall fit and comfort of these ... Next week I will try them out on the slopes! Hopefully they will be warm enough. I am excited that I will look stylish in my new ...

These ... great!
I wanted a pair of ... didn't make me look like an oompa loompa. I am only 5ft tall and finding petite size ... fit is difficult. Everything is always too big in the waist but these ... have the sizing feature which helps pull it in without added bulk. The length is perfect. Haven't worn them in the snow yet but will probably wear a tight layer underneath.

Great Fit but Lack Ski Functionality
First and foremost, I LOVE the fit of Athleta's ski pants. You cannot beat it--at 5' 8" 120, Athleta ski pants fit me perfect (I get the 4 tall so they don't shrink up my ski boots). I've purchased several styles over the years. Every time I come back to this style, however, I am reminded that whoever designed these was not a skier. They lack two practical ski requisites--first, the bottom sides of the pants snap, which is completely useless on a cold snowing day--snow sticks in the snaps and it's impossible to get them closed. I fumble with them constantly. Hence they are warm weather ski pants only (Athleta, change the snaps to something that can easily be closed on stormy days, please). Second, there is absolutely nowhere on these pants to attach a ski ticket. I can't believe that part was forgotten. So even if they're my warm weather ... pants, the fact is on warm weather days I'm often shedding layers and want my ticket attached to my pants. No can do. Great fit, Athleta--just make sure an avid skier tests out your pants every time first. :)

So sad I had to send them back
I needed a snow ... hiking and walking in the winter and thought I'd give these ... try regardless of feeling "not so sure" about those leg snaps. When the ... arrived, I loved the quality of construction, fit and fabric but I hated the leg vents even more! The inseam was too long for my purpose; I find I wear a shorter inseam for ... I'll be using in the snow and mud to keep the hems out of the goop. But the reason I sent these back was because of the leg design and vent: the legs were too flared from above the knee on down (maybe to accommodate alpine ... boots) but it was too much fabric swishing when I walked and the snapped vents let in cold air. Plus I thought the snaps looked odd since they didn't match anything else on the pant.Too bad because it is a nice ... otherwise. Athleta, if you're watching, please consider making this ... narrower, shorter leg and no vents! Or else put a zipper on the vent and not those silly snaps... &:-)

Start Over with the Design
Whoever designed these ... looking more at style than form or function. And I bet they don't live in the north where we get really cold winters (sometimes). First of all, the waist band is too low in the back. And because I can't get it tight enough to hug my body, everytime I bend at the waist, a portion of my back is exposed to the cold. I do like the eleastic draw cord inside that attempts to tighten the waist by synching up on buttons. But it's just not enough. Another place I get cold drafts is in the legs because there is such a wide bottom on the ... (bell bottom). This allows cold air to find its way to my legs. I was really hoping for one pair of ... could wear outside in northern Michigan in the winter to cross country ... hike, or snowshoe without having to wear lots of bulky layers. But I didn't get that with these ... Not only are they not as warm as I wanted, the size isn't right either. I am typically a size 8 and I guess I should have bought a size 6. I'm 5'6" tall, fairly well porportioned (not too long in the torso or legs) and weigh about 140 lbs. These ... too long for me and too big in the waist. Frankly, I'm disappointed in the purchase and I probably should have returned them. I'm always yanking them up in the back waist to cover more of my back (even tucking in top layers doesn't work because these are so low.)
