My husband bought me 2 whatever skorts for our Anniversary. I picked them out. I got the Asphalt and Olive colors. The asphalt was sort of a blue color and not what I expected. Doesn't matter I love the ... am keeping it. I am 5' 2" and weigh 130 pounds and got the size 2. I wear size 2 in all ... jeans. It fits perfect every where and I love the length too. The shorts are very comfy. I live in Montana and wear tights under my ... winter. Even with this ... can comfortably wear tights. I can dress it up or ride my bike to the park and play with my son.

I've been on the look out for skorts, and have been dismayed how difficult it's been to find them. I am an RN who works in people's homes, and scrubs make ... patients feel like patients, not people...so I like to dress semi professionally to put them at ease. Wearing ... having to do the personal care I do for them, does not work...for obvious reasons. This ... perfect! It allows me to bend over when needed, and attend to ... patients, without flashing people behind me. Very comfortable, cool, and absolutely the perfect length (in tall - I'm 6 foot). I'll be ordering more!
Better than expected!
I have been eyeing this ... literally a few years... and finally decided to order it. I was nervous because I am pear shaped and sometimes short flared ... really emphasize ... hips in a bad way. Well, I am THRILLED with this ... - it is so ridiculously flattering!!! I ordered ... regular size 10 - and it fits beautifully and truly looks great. Also, the shorts underneath are perfect - fitted but not too tight, and not at all heavy or hot feeling the way some skorts can be. I will probably buy another, which I never do - it's that good. One note for Athleta - I get having a drawstring in the waist if you are sizing things s/m/l, but it seems overkill when you have dress sizing. I pulled the drawstring out of mine - no need for it and it just annoys me having to tuck it in.
These skorts ROCK!
I own several of these skorts and LOVE them! I am 5'7" and order the tall so the length is just below the knees and most appropriate for work. The shape is very flattering and doesn't constrict. It also covers bumpy thighs and saddlebags. These ... "swirly" enough to swing when you walk, but they don't blow upward in the Kansas wind. I also wear them when walking for exercise. They look fine with fitness shoes. I will buy more when new prints and/or colors that suit ... taste are available
Awesome short
I just got my whatever ... mail today. I was thrilled when I tried them on. I have the asphalt and the darker purple color. I was unsure about the purple but I am so glad I ordered it. It's bright but not overly so, just enough to make it fun. I was concerned about sizing but I ordered a six and it fits perfect. An 8 may have fit, I just would have had extra room. I am 5'3" and weigh about 137. I normally wear a size 6 jeans and I carry more weight in ... thighs/butt which make this the perfect ... can never find shorts that fit ... waist and ... butt and thighs and the whatever ... fits the bill. It's cute and fun and does not look at all matronly. As a 44 year old I was concerned about this. I am wearing them to work this summer. As a behavior therapist for kids, I am on the floor a lot. Sometimes I am even running after kids. I can stay cool in the heat and not risk everyone seeing ... business while I'm running in a ... can also see riding around on ... beach cruiser this summer wearing ... skorts. I just ordered two more!! I ordered a regular because I wanted a modest length for work, (and I am 44). I am so glad I did. It hits about an inch above ... knee. It's perfect. I am taking all of ... skorts to disney in oct!

I've purchased two Whatever Skorts and can see another in ... future. I love wearing ... instead of shorts in the summer but having the ... option is nice - particularly when chasing around ... two small kids! The material on this is fabulous - no worry about wrinkles and it has a great drape to it. I feel cute and ready for action ;-) Minor complaints...the shorts aren't super snug (and I have thighs!) so they do ride up a touch if that sort of thing bugs you. I also don't find the drawstring necessary but you could take it out if you wanted I suppose. For sizing...I'm 5'10" and around 138 - I got a size 4 in the regular length ... height is more in ... torso though); it hits me just above the knee. I am wearing this more on ... hips than ... waist as well so I'd imagine the tall would fit better if I was wearing it on ... waist (and I'd need that drawstring!).

BEST ... EVER!!!
I just purchased 2 of these skorts and have already ordered 3 more! They are so comfortable and perfect for just about anything or anywhere. I am in ... late 40's and really don't like wearing shorts...always prefer wearing a sundress or ... so this really fits the bill for me. I am an avid walker and these willl be great for walking in. I think they are true to size and they hit at a comfortable spot on the waist.....not too low. The fabric is very soft and it washes/drys well.

I sifted through so many reviews and then went ahead and ordered my normal size 6. I am 5'3" 124 lbs., and never wear petities - I am short waisted and have long legs and arms, so regular works in most ... pants, dresses, and it worked perfectly in these skorts. I got the French Lavender and the Bermuda Blue and couldn't be happier. They hit right in the middle of my knee and I love this length -very flattering on me, and comfortable riding my bike to work and home! The shorts are great - no problems riding up or down - everything works! It's entirely possible I could have worn a 4- regular or 6-petite and liked the fit equally as much - the drawstring at the waist really helps with the fine tuning and I would be fine with an inch or so shorter as well. Great quick dry fabric, wonderful colors, happy camper here!

i absolutely love this ... am always trying to be more girly and wear ... but I usually am very specific about the ... fit. Buying a ... great alternative for me so I dont worry about flashing anyone. I am 5'9" 140 lbs and this is a perfect length just at the knee. I figured out that am a size 8 in this cut after ordering a size 6 before. I now own two skorts in this style. There is drawstring which is unnecessary since the ... also zips and button closes but it doesn't bother me.

I have a olive Whatever ... cooler months and a cord one for fall/winter and LOVE them. The cord ... not a ... which actually feels better less bulky. I ordered those in regular sizing and don't remember if they came in petite back then - I don't think so. But, I just ordered the Asphalt in a petite size and it fits above ... knee - I am almost 5' 3". The others are just at/below ... knee, but doesn't bother me. Very comfortable and versitile - I live in different types of ... all spring/summer and wanted to add another of these one of ... very favorites.
