So cute... but what''s with that strange drawstring in the waist PLUS a zipper and snaps?
I just love this cute pinwale cord ... wasn't certain it would fit since I have a little junk in the trunk but it did! I have come to wearing skirts late in life (60 years old) and could not wait for it to go on sale so I bought it anyway. I love everything about it EXCEPT.... it has a very strange inner drawstring in the waist. If it was only the drawstring to cinch it up that would have been fine. But it also has a zipper and snaps so if you tighten the drawstring it tends to have a big gap at the waist in the front. Not the best look. Because it runs large in the waist I will probably have it taken in.And remove that pesky drawstring.

Flattering, fun ...
I am 5' 8'', so I originally ordered the regular length, wanting it to hit my leg right above the knee, like it does on the display models. It may have been how I was wearing it (I like to wear skirts lower on my hips), but the regular length was right at and a little below my knees. I returned it for the petite length and the length was perfect and not TOO short to be conservative. The ... fits well in the hips and is even flattering in the back! The bottom flares a bit for a fun look. I love it in plum and will buy more in other colors.

Love the ...
I am 5'8' weight 150, after reading the reviews I went with the size 8. I find with Athleta I usually run a size 10, because I like my skirts to sit a little lower on my hips, instead of around my waist. In an 8 this ... fit perfectly. I wear this ... work, and out on the town, just by changing my shirt can dress the ... up, or have a cassual look. I like the wheat color, because it goes with everything. I definately recommend as a staple for your closet.

Amazing "Color Purple" ...
Love this flirty. flare ... color, the most gorgeous, luscious purple I have seen anywhere. I was immediately drawn to the color when the ... arrived and then I tried it on and magical...the fit, well:perfecto! I am 5'10" and the size 6 is the best fit for me. I intend to wear it with an olive green sweater and am also looking for other colors to compliment. I enjoy that I can wear these heavier skirts here in California with my boots and bare legs. When I travel back to the Midwest in January I intend to just add heavy tights and still enjoy my fun little cordoroy ... Thank you Athleta for making clothes that really fit, are not too revealing and have just the right amount of athletic and everyday balance!

cute
This ... so soft and cute! I am hourglass shaped and usually order a 6 in skirts and 8 in pants. I tried 8 and it did stretch out a bit throughout the day. Am going to order the 6 as well. This ... nips in at the waist nicely and is very flattering on my hips and bottom. So cute with flats and boots.

Great ...
I now own two of these skirts. One in a dark green color and now in this light stone color. I love the length and fit. If I had to change anything I'd like them better if they would sit lower on my waist though.

Very cute ...
Though the rise is high on this ... wears well and is comfortable. The straighter you are, the better this ... fit - if you're quite hippy, it will probably not look quite right (the seams don't flare out until below hips). Overall, I'm happy with this ... but based on the fit, I'm not ready to purchase it or any other "whenever" skirts or skorts.

Love it!
I am a teacher, so, when shopping for clothes, I need something I can wear comfortably, throw in the washer without much thought, and can wear to church on Sundays. These skirts hit the mark in all areas. I can dress them up or down. They are neither too long, nor too short. If I could change one thing it would be to make them lined on the inside, so they don't crawl up when walking at a fast pace. Other than that, they are super!!!

Just didn''t like the style
I like these fine, soft corduroy skirts and was hoping this and the Cordoba ... would work for me, but neither looked very good. I just didn't like how they puffed out. Side profile looked like I had 10 extra pounds on. So I had to return it. I got the Small and I'm 5 foot 5 and about 115-120 lbs. It fit fine in the waist, it just didn't look good from a side profile. I wish the snaps would lay flatter too, because on the side profile they kind of stick out a bit. Sadly, it is going back.

Just Okay
I LOVE my summer weight Whatever skorts. I have 2 pr. I've been waiting for the cord version to go on sale, so when it did, I jumped on it. However, the material isn't heavy enough to hold the ... down in the normal folds (?). It just looks a little odd. The material is stretchy enough that it exaggerates my tummy bulge, then fits tight in the hips, then flares wide like bellbottoms just above my knees. I'm a pretty average size (5'4/140 lbs) and wear a size 4/6 in Athleta bottoms/skirts, so I'm not super curvy OR straight hipped. I did notice the model in the picture has no hips, and the ... looks great on her. :) I kept the ... just because I've been wanting iit for so long. If worn w/ longer shirts or sweaters over top, it's fine.

cute shape
the material on this ... very thin for corduroy. very cute shape on the ... normally wear a S, sometimes XS for athleta and got size 0 for this ... size 2 probably would sit on around my waist better (but since it's a ... can go anywhere). none of athleta's more structured skirts fit me properly since i think their fit model is very skinny w/o curves. i'm probably a normal size 4 but would def go down a size or two for this ... fun cold weather ... wear around with boots.
