I liked it the first time....
I now own 4 of these skirts. As in FOUR. I bought one. Then another. Then it went on sale so now I have 4. It is a great ... over exercise tights, with boots and all those days when you can't stand to put on jeans one more time. I am tiny-- but very old. This ... makes me feel good and look ... fine. I have the 0 regular and its not too short and not one bit "goddess" ...

I love the skirts from Athleta. I am a true 6 and have ordered that size in the cargo ... before. The 6 size sits on my hips not my waist. I ordered a size 4 in this ... fits perfectly. So, order a size down if you want it to fit accurately or order your true size if you would like it to sit on your hips.

These skirts are perfect pieces for the fall and winter with tights. I am short 5' 2" and most of the skirts are too long for me This was a mini which was just right on me. Came to just above my knee. They are comfortable and I received many compliments. Just too expensive!

Accidentally perfect
First non running gear Athleta purchase. Based on reviews, figured the size that should work (petite size 0) would be too short and too large in the waist. But tried on regular size 0 at the Denver store, worked perfectly for my body. Actually sits flawlessly on my hips without the drawstring when normally I’m too curvy for hip skirts, and it bought me some length being regular instead of petite in addition to sitting lower on hips. Not saying this works for everyone, but I recommend giving it a try, with tweaking the sizing, since it is now my go to casual ... get tons of compliments every time I wear it.

Perfection!
I'm 5'4" tall,112 lbs.I order these skirts in the size 2.I say skirts as I now own this one in 3 colors.I love the length a couple of inches above the knee on me the fabric is a nice medium weight so you can wear these in the spring/summer with sneakers and a tee, or add tights,boots and a sweater for fall/winter.The waist band is wide and sits at a very flattering point at the waist,plus there is a draw ribbon if you need to snug it up a little being a ribbon its not at all bulky and you cannot see it under your tops.I'm 47 and I think these skirts are appropriate for women in my age range not so long to be frumpy not so short to be inappropriate.Love this ...

Great ...
I searched up and down for a good cord mini. I'm pretty short (5'2") and regular length skirts are way too long on my short legs. This fit perfectly. I'm in the process of losing weight and was right in between a 10 and a 12 when I ordered this, so I went with the 10. So glad, the 12 would've been too big. This fit perfectly, not too tight. I've since lost a few more pounds and am actually hoping it'll shrink a little in the dryer but will definitely order a smaller size if it doesn't. I got the "purplish" color and it's really pretty. I usually choose a plain brown or black but so glad I went with something different. Looks great with my light brown wedge boots, but I could also wear it with flip flops during warm fall months (I live near the beach). I wore it on Thanksgiving and also out on the town when I visited some friends back home. Super comfortable, doesn't ride up too much, and I've gotten a TON of compliments on it. Get one, you won't regret it!!

LOVE THIS ...
I've been wearing this ... work with boots and tights. Very comfortable and fits awesome! I'm 5'5", 130lbs - I have a long waist and short legs. I can't wear all skirts - this one looks AWESOME on! The cut is great - not too a line which can make me look hippy at times with my short legs. I've got the gray and black and plan on buying two more colors! BTW - the gray has a purple hue to it - unexpected but love it too!

great mini ...
Since this is a mini ... wouldn't tend to wear it for sports though it certainly could be used for that, with the right undergarments. It is a fine corduroy fabric, so while I would wear other skirts besides this one for sports, with leggings for warmth if needed, I wouldn't with this ... because it just seems too nice, and it also doesn't have elastic give like other more sporty skirts. I will wear this with short boots and cute tights for a great outfit, day or night. It will also look nice with a cute shoe (alas I have to wear flat shoes) or with a tall boot and socks or tights. The mauve color blends in well with this seasons' various purples and berries and blues. For footwear it could easily go with black or brown (or other colors if you have them!). This could also make a cute general active wear ... travel, but I wouldn't recommend it for heavier sports such as skiing. It is very cute on and would suit many body types.

Nice ... too Big
Wish Athleta would make skirts for petite, athletic women. This ... really cute, nice material, great color, but just way too big for someone like me who is 5' tall, 98 lbs. The Oasis ... XXS is perfect - why can't you make any other skirts in these sizes instead of numbered sizes? I gave it 3 stars because I am sure if it fit me, I would love it.

I wanted to like this
I live in skirts and don't mind wearing shorter skirts. However, this ... little too short for me. The only way to wear it is with tights, which could look cute. But even then, I think that it looks strange on a woman my age (over 45), so it's going back. I might try a tall size, which is 2 inches longer.

I reluctantly returned this item
I am 5 ft / approx 105 lbs. Since the 2P was not available I ordered a 4P and a regular 2. The ... itself is very well made, I love the fabric and the color and it has just the right amount of "give". Unfortunately it was not at all flattering on me. The ... belled out around making me look "hippy" and neither tucking in nor leaving a shirt out helped. I tried putting various blazers & jackets over top but that didn't work either. I even tried to iron it thinking I could encourage the shape I was looking for. Unfortunately nothing worked and I sadly had to return both skirts. I gave 3 stars because I still feel the ... well made/constructed and it will look great on someone - just not me.
