solid color full tide bikini bottoms - reviews

Finally! A swim ... that''s just right.
What can I say? I was really hoping for a swim ... felt good about. ( I am over 40 and though I wear a size 2, I've had two kids). So I bought the Sangria color ... tide bottoms on sale and found a striped tankini to go with them. Perfect. Wish they had more colors available in my size. I'd buy them for later!

Great Fit
The bottoms fit perfectly. Not too tight or too loose. I was concerned about the bottoms covering up scarring from my tummy tuck and it fit just right that I didn't have to keep adjusting anything. I bought mine in the cargo green. The actual color was a little more olive or "army" green with a lime green liner. The color was still very pretty, just a little "greener" than the color on the website. I would definitely buy this again!

Love this swim suit!
Absolutely love this swim suit!! Bought the solid shirred full tide ... Medium (I'm 5'6", 120 lbs, size 4) and it fits perfectly. Coverage is great for me - not too low in front and not too high - just right. Also bought the ... Bra Cup Twistini Bikini Top 34B/32C to go with it and it also fits perfectly - very true to size. The Kauai Blue color is lovely and have also ordered the same swim suit in black...the bottoms have arrived, but top is on back order until June! This is the perfect suit for casual swimming and playing with my two young kids at the pool.

Good quality
Nice swim ... covers a curvy, full ... I'm 5'4" 130lbs with muscular thighs. The medium fit fine. The problem is the color. The cargo color blended with my olive color skin. They fit but will be sending them back based on the color.

I ordered MANY swimsuits to try, and this is one of the few I'm keeping. Nice coverage -- a tad more than I wanted on the back, with a little extra fabric bunching on my rear, it also goes pretty high up on my back. But more is better than less I suppose. This ... pretty flattering, sits flat on the waist, doesn't accentuate rolls or muffin tops. Good material, nice lining, although I would have preferred a neutral lining color.

Nice ...
This is a great ... piece of you want a little more coverage, but not a heavy, restricting garment. The gathers at the sides add a little bit of flare. I have them in Tide Blue, which is a beautiful color. I'm just waiting for my tankini top to arrive to make the suit complete.

it was cute
I loved the color (Kauai Blue) and the fit of the ... Shirred Full ... although it was a tad too low. Would have liked a higher waist. I returned it though because the top I got to go with it was too tight and I don't have another top that would match that blue. I am 5'6" in my 50s, weigh about 136 and am a size 8 and the medium fit well.

Swim bottoms
Love these swim bottoms. Fit awesome, feel great! Wish they had the color I needed but sold out in most colors.

Not My Idea of Full Coverage
Being over 50 but active, I prefer my full coverage ... come up to my belly button. I like a ... supports the stomach. The quality was great, the color was nice. The bottoms were not my idea of full coverage. After more searching,I ended up with a suit that offered swim shorts.

Bought this and the Sayulita Medium Tide ... & top. Ended up returning everything. Sayulita Medium Tide ... cut too low. The legs on this ... were too "boy short" like -- did not elongate my legs. (I'm 5'6", 128 pounds, usually wear a size 6 in Athleta bottoms). Thought if the Sayulita ... cut too low (which it was for me) that this one might work but the color was also a bit too dark. Fabric quality was very nice.

too much fabric
At 42 years old, I'm pretty modest, but there was way too much rear coverage. I usually like shirring and ruching, but not on this piece. It was along the vertical hip seam and it was all bad. It just accentuated the thin insulation layer I have there. The bottoms that have the shirring along the front are much better and flattering. Beautiful color though, but these go back.
