sport skorts - reviews

just bought 2 more
Bought the sz 8 lavender and the fit me perfectly. I'm 59, about 140# & 5'6. These are great for any activity and I like the fact that you can wear them from sport to dinner. The drawstring is not bulky and will be a plus as I am continuing to lose weight and maybe my next purchase will be a 6! They hit me right at the top of my knees which I like because at my age my knees don't look that great! ;)

Love It!
Best sport skirt I own! Bought the tall version because I wanted more coverage over the knee. .... just right in length! Little wrinkly from the package...tried to wash them out.... but still on the skirt. Hoping they will gradually go away. No one noticed them...or said anything. Looks good on me! Worked in 90 degree weather.....and stayed comfy. Hope they do come in cord for the fall.

SIMPLY PERFECT
I can't say enough about these skorts - they are PERFECT for summer in MI and I will wear them in fall and spring as well. I am 5'5", 120 lbs and the size 4 fits perfectly. I don't really use the tie inside much, but it does not get in my way, and I like where it falls, just above my knees. I do wish it had a hidden pocket like the sweet sport ... but I get so many compliments on these - I have them in almost every color now!!! Just ordered the dolphin and ocean colors to go along with the other 3-4 that I have and I wear them constantly. I can dress them up with a nice top and strappy sandals for dinner or a night out, or I can wear them biking with my kids, or running errands around town and it is really flattering. I can't say enough about these, they are light material so it's very breathable, but you still have the comfort of the skorts underneath, and you look feminine!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this ...

great ...
I bought 1 of these skorts last year and just purchased 2 more of these. Yes, they are somewhat loose, but they're not huge and I don't think it's supposed to be form fitting. I get many complements and I'm always comfortable. I have worn it with sport sandals and a t shirt for running around and been able to dress it up slightly with nicer sandals and a nice tank.

Stylish
I bought this in beige and loved it. I just got a second in charcoal. It is longer than most sport skorts but that works for running around and being active yet wanting to look nice for going out to a restaurant. I am planning on bringing it on my work trips to Europe. Its great for sight seeing. The only concern I have is that it does wrinkle- but so far that hasn't detracted from it that much.

Pretty, functional and comfortable
This is a very attractive piece, tomboyishly sporty but girlishly swingy. I got a lot of compliments on this ... first day I wore it to work. The material is slightly stretchy and feels cool against the skin, so it was incredibly comfortable. I got the falcon colour and with sandals it looks sporty, with heels it looks dressy. I like fairly low rises and wish this one was a bit lower, but it is not too high, and I just pulled it down a bit onto my hips. It's long enough that I would not wear it for real sport, maybe just a ride on my beach cruiser or running around with the kids at the park. I think it will be an awesome travel skirt (but wonder if it will need a bit of ironing/steaming after being packed.)

Whatever ... Perfect
This ... best thing I own in my recent summer/travel wear. I bought one in blue and then another in red. It's light and girly, fun to wear and cool. You can wash and dry it so it's awesome for spring/summer travel. Wear with sport shoes, sandals, flip flops, whatever. I love it and would buy it in all the colors. It's also priced perfectly. Again, I love it! Plus, you can twirl in it. When I wear it I always get compliments!

Will get a lot of use out of this skirt!
Really like this. Standard size 12 longer than I expected (I'm 5'8"); all the way to my knee. If you are < 5'7", might consider petite sizing or may be below knees. I have the pear shape thing going on with small waist, larger hips/ thighs. So glad for the inner drawstring or the waist would really gap! I wore this bike riding ( not serious sport biking, just casual) & also to the grocery store & really liked it. Inner short is not compression style so does ride up on my thighs with use, so if anything, I'd wish for a bit more compression so this didn't happen as much, but it's not awful. I bought the asphalt color & like it; the darker color does appear to show the contrast thread color more than a lighter color would. I'd like to also get the grape color (on back order) or the light gray. Oh, I also liked how lightweight it is as with some skorts I tried on, the ... felt much heavier. It's a great weight for warmer weather.

Versatile ...
I love the idea of a ... - no worries while I chase my kids and look pretty doing it. Yeah! I ordered this in the regular and petite lengths. I am 5'5" and a size 4. The size 4 works well. There is an internal drawstring if the waist is too large, although I don't need it. The petite length hits 2" above the knee and the regular hits just above the knee. I got the shorter length to play tennis. I am not sure if the regular length would be too long for that purpose. I ordered the black print and the asphalt because the black is back ordered. I loved the print out of the box, but as other reviewers suggested I am not sure the print hits me in the right spots. I.e maybe the print draws attention to my hips and that is not what I need. The asphalt is a dark gray with cream color stitching, which I think limits what I would wear with it. I may have to wait on the black. The fabric is very light and will be great in warm weather. The worst part is the shorts ride up on my legs with minimal movement. I really wanted to love, love, love this ... but I gave it 4 stars because the shorts make it less comfortable. The short fabric in the Sweet Sport Skirt is different and rides up less.

I love the material but it''s too long to do any sports in
I love the material but the skirt is a little long to be considered for any sport activities. It hits just below my knee cap, however, it is very cute and I plan to wear it to work! I love the fabric.

Cute but...
I wanted to love this ... which would have filled a gap in my casual wardrobe. But while the longer length worked for me as a fit 47 year old, the waist was too loose and bunched up unattractively when cinched. Probably better for someone less curvy, but if you have a small waist yet need fabric to drape over a generous bottom half, it might not be your best bet. The Sweet Sport ... fit me much better.
