I LOVE these pants. The style lines are very flattering and they are super comortable. Wish I had gotten a second pair. This is a good pant for women who have firm round butts; there is no gapping at the waist. I"m 5' at 105 pounds and the XSP is perfect for me. No shortening needed either.

Nice
I bought these pants for ... wife, an avid runner, who had purchased other athleta apparel. These pants are hot. So guys do your self a favor and purchase these for you girl, especially if your lucky enough to have an active lady. Thank you athleta for making clothing that fits the average built woman. Great products and well worth the money.

Love these pants!
I love these pants! I have purchased several pairs and wear them all the time. I am 5'3" tall and weight about 105, the extra small is perfect. and they are the only pants that make ... butt look great. I am a yoga teacher and wear this for teaching, for ... own practice and other workouts. and I am not afraid to wear them to the store, as I look great in them. the only complaint is that they are just a bit long, ... since I am in between petite and regular, that is typical for ... clothing.

Pleasantly surprised!
I have been eying these pants for a while, although was hesitant to order, as I have been disappointed a few times with the fit of Athleta clothing. I am 5'3" and very curvy and just don't seem to have luck with Athleta. ... thought I'd give these a try. I ordered the petite M and they fit beautifully! I was really pleasantly surprised to find they were perfect when I put them on right out of the package. Perfect length, too, which is very nice as I usually have to immediately get pants altered before I can wear them. I'm not a young thing either (50+) ... they look very attractive and slimming. Thumbs up!

I think these may be the prettiest, most flattering, most comfy workout pants I have ever owned. The fabric seems a little bit delicate, maybe? --so I won't be wearing them for hiking or anything like that, ... yoga/Pilates studio, they're perfect. I wear 16 on bottom; these are true to size in XL. Got a big round booty, and I was concerned about the comments from smaller sized women that this pant is butt shaping, was afraid that meant it would make ... big butt look even bigger: that's not the case. Just a really nice fit. The line of the pant leg is very flattering, and the hem comes just to the floor when I'm in bare feet (I'm 5'6"). Bought the Black Heather color which is gorgeous; when I buy ... next workout pants, I'm coming back for this style again in more colors.

Perfect Petite Fit!
I purchased the petite size and they fit perfectly! I am 5'1 and weigh 95 lbs. so it is impossible for me to find workout clothing that fits. The length is right on and the fit is very slimming and flattering. Extremely comfortable, too!

Run, don''t walk, to buy ...
Perfect fit, what else can I say? I bought size Small, which was what the size chart recommended, and they fit great. I am 5'5", 123 pounds, athletic build. The ... cling in the right places, taper in the right places, flare in the right places and -- let's get right to it: they don't ride up in the crotch (the biggest problem with so many workout ... out there). The material is really nice, and they've washed really well too (I always wash ... sport gear in cold water, delicate/gentle cycle, with Sport Wash detergent). I got the Olive color and it looks nice with a variety of ... tops. I'll be back for more. Worth the price.

Kickbooty pants - flattering and forgiving!
What an awesome pant. I'm 5'4", 125 lbs, and have an hourglass figure; I purchase clothing off the rack in a size 6. I've historically had a tough time finding an athleticallly cut pant that suits me...especially after 2 kids. If I do find the perfect pant, the length is typically 3 to 4" too long. As such, I ordered the petite medium. While the fit is spot on in every regard (this fabric is amazing - it magically conceals any imperfections!) the length leaves something to be desired. The hem is a bit too short - it rests on the top of ... foot when I'm barefoot. I have the feeling that these pants will shrink with washing (I'm not careful about air drying or using the gentle cycle with ... workout and delicate clothing), so I'm going to order a pair of mediums in the regular length. If only the petites were 2 inches longer! I hope the regulars will work because I'm a huge fan of these pants.

Maybe I''m smaller?
I might a little smaller than I think I am, that might be the issue. I know that ISN'T what most women are dealing with these days, ... have been ill recently, and the size (small) was bigger than I thought they would be. I wish I had gone with XS. I am 5' 8" and about 132 lb. Love the added length, ... extra room isn't giving the support I had wished for. I wear them A LOT, ... wear them, out and I WILL, I'll get the XS. I definitely recommend the pants :-).

IF U WANT TO CALL ATTENTION TO YOUR HIPS & THIGHS GET EM
i liked the quality of the fabric however the cut was not for me. im about 5 6 and a very solid 130 lbs. ... legs are long ... like alot of women i carry some weight in ... hips and thighs. the slight flair in these pants starts below the knee instead of above it which would be more slimming. these pants went back because of this detail.

Wanted to love these....
Sorry, ... sending these back. Am I the only woman who wants a a higher rise? I thought these would be great on my 5'1" 108 lb frame, ... found the low rise really uncomfortable. Bought my usual XS, and not sure if a Small would correct the fit for me. I would like to have stylish workout pants without feeling that my shirt has to be really long to cover my butt or to be able to tuck in if I am doing outside cold weather sports. I bought these for yoga in the winter (chilly studio), and running errands, ... mostly for cross country skiing. The fleece lining feels wonderful, ... think these might be too hot for yoga, ... nice for skiing. I realize the wants of a 59 yr. old may be different from a 20 yr. old, so I did a survey of ... yoga class of varying ages all said they would like higher rise pants as an option. ... last desire would be Made in USA.

Love them!
I waited a while to buy ... some reason... kept them sitting in ... online shopping cart. Had I known how comfortable they would be, I would have purchased them long ago. Strangely enough, the post that pushed me to finally buy was the one that mentioned that her dog's hair didn't cling to them. I keep ... house clean, however ... malamute's hair just seems to find ... black clothing. ... AWESOME! So comfortable, fit true to size, and repel dog hair (added bonus :D )

I generally wear anywhere from a 6-10 in ... hover around a size 8. I ordered a medium and the fit is perfect. I have always had a "booty" and it shows in ... also shows in every pair of ... I've ever worn. However, ... thick enough that no dimples show through. The ... also skim over your curves and problem areas. There's no bunching. However, they do pick up lint and animal hair like crazy and aren't as dark black as I'd like them to be. All in all, they're the best fitness ... I've ever worn and I can't wait to buy another pair.

Great run/errand pants
THese are my first Athleta pants purchase...they fit well and are great quality! I wear them to work out, walk the dogs, run the kids to sports etc. I am a 40 something year old mom of 2 and they look great on me. Highly recommend

Buy these if nothing else...
I read the reviews and it is true, women want to know where I got these pants! Even had a male friend ask so he could buy them for his wife. Super comfortable, the material is amazing. I want every color!! Very attractive and comfortable pant!

I love Athleta because they carry petite sizes!! I am 5'2" and pear shaped. Being self employed I have the luxery of dressing casual for my job. Your ... perfect for this. I can add a cute tunic and clogs with these pants and walk my dogs, go to work and then to the grocery store all while being comfortable yet not frumpy at all! Being short, I always worry about looking frumpy when dressing for comfort. Never a problem with Athleta clothing. These pants also make my "sit upon" look "younger". Thanks Athleta!!!

The BEST pant EVER!
The Bettona Classic Pant is perfect! I now own 2 pair of the black and 1 pair of the grey. I like to wear them to teach my Pilates and BODYFLOW(R) classes and get complements every time I do. The top of the pant stops the muffin from popping up. The little pockets in front flatten out the belly and the little pockets in the back make the bottom look good. The material does not show sweat in the places where women sweat ... don't want people to know they sweat there. The lighter colored grey doesn't even reveal bumps like so many other lighter colored pants do. Now throw on a pair of 4 inch heels and you are out for the night looking hot in your little Bettona Classic Pant. I think they are magic!

Great Pants!
I love these pants. Wearing them as an everyday type of pant in addition to wearing them for yoga or other sports. I can dress them up or just wear them casually. I was worried about the fit because I don't usually wear form fitting clothing ... these are very flattering. The length is little long ... petite would be way too short. Wish there was something in between. Love the fabric!

Comfy and flattering every day pants that are perfect for travel.
I started out with a black pair and just bought the green. I wear them all the time ... don't think the fabric holds its shape enough for sweaty things so these pants are in my non sports wardrobe. They will hold up well if you launder them as delicates.

cute style, ... leg width is a little big
I really like the jeans style detail and the fact that there are pockets. I bought these pants in petite medium since I'm normally a 29" inseam in a yoga pant. These are 29" as advertised, ... because the leg width from midthigh down is a little wide and they are so flared they look short. They fit perfectly through the waist and hips (my waist is about 1 size bigger than my hips in regular clothing sizes). The fabric is really comfortable I'm wearing them now for the first time, so I'm hoping the leg will drape a little better after they are washed.

Great in every way ... pant length!
These pants are stylish, comfortable, and good looking, They're just way too long for 5'5", 125 lb. me (I bought size M). The bottoms of the pants drag on the floor, even when I put on my clogs, which add at least another 1-1.5" to my height. (It makes me question if the inseam is really only 32".) I like them enough to keep them. I'll just be spending more money on them getting them hemmed. I do wish Athleta would offer more inseam options for women who are not usually buying their pants to wear with heels (e.g., offering 30" or 31"), and/or are of average height. (The petite size inseam at 29" seems a tad too short, or I would have gone for those). Otherwise, I really like these pants!

Not so happy!
I was so looking forward to getting these pants to travel to indonesia. Boy, was I ever disappointed. I ordered 1x ... I'm a plus size athletic girl who skis, scuba dives, plays competitive sports, loves to hike and works out regularly. I'm 5' 8 weigh 205 lbs and usually wear a 1x in all my ... These pants were way to long and the fit was all wrong. way to baggy in the tummy area and on the hips. Should have ordered a smaller size.

Different Colors - Different ...
OK, I had ordered the black and ... were true to ... wonderful fit. I love them! I normally wear a ... 4 in ... long inseam and ordered a tall small. I ... washed them and did not dry them and ... held up fabulously! I am almost six feet tall and was concerned that the inseam should be longer, ... perfect. I ordered them in navy.....same ... Tall Small....and ... much tigher in the rear and upper thighs. That's probably why ... were on sale. If you order black, go with your normal ... If you go with one of the other colors, order a ... up. I am keeping them, ... would ... preferred a larger ... I'm hoping they'll stretch out a little with wear. (I normally like form fitting clothing, also...)

Frustrated and Disappointed
Over the last few years, the ... Athleta that I like the most, are no longer consistent in the way that ... fit. Often, one leg is longer than the other or the hips are too big ... often the thighs are way too tight. Sometimes the bells at the bottom are overly wide. Very weird. I find it annoying to ... keep sending them back. Also, ... change the cut so quickly. I just get familiar with what works for ... body which is a small/tall or an extra small/tall, and then the cut changes and when I order, it does not fit again. Also, you run out of the extra small/talls right away. That should tell you that you need to order more. There are tall women out there and we need the length ... not all of us ... wide hips! I waih you would bring back the old cut of the Polar Tech Power Strectch ... more extra small/talls of the "all that ... ALL the colors.

I cannot stress it enough: I hate running shorts. I like wearing the lightest clothing possible while running, ... pear shaped hipster, most shorts just p**s me off and distract me from ... form (seriously, I will stop and pull and tweak every half mile, ruining ... stride). Not to mention the glory of chafing in the summer humidity. However I have read hundreds of great reviews (seriously, I'm THAT skeptical of good shorts being possible for me) about Athleta's Hana Run Short, even by those who worship Nike Tempos. I finally took the plunge when certain colors went on sale. ... first test drive I fell in love. I am already ordering pair #2! Thank you Athleta. Oh, and sizing down does wonders for one's self esteem. Do that when you order ... I'm 5'10" and 150lbs, and would be swimming in a L. Mediums are righteous!

Love ... shorts.
Other than being a little shorter on me than in the catalogue photos, ... shorts were better than expected. ... comfy and the fabric is very light. In addition to running, ... great for the beach over a bathing suit or on their own with a running bra. I am 5'2" 105 lbs and the extra small is perfect. I gave ... shorts 5 stars in spite of the length being a bit too short for ... own liking - I happen to prefer longer inseams ... most other women would be fine with the length.

Normally I don''t like running shorts...these are awesome!
Usually I find with running shorts that the inner brief is too tight while the shorts are too roomy and "blousy" or diaper like. ... shorts are absolutely perfect. I wore them all day at a volleyball tournament in 85 degree weather and stayed cool the whole time. And no wedgies! They sit low, which I love, ... not too low (i.e., behind is totally covered). FIT: I read all of the written reviews before deciding on a size. Based on ... measurements (25" waist, 37" hip) I would have ordered a small, ... based on reviews got the ... small and they are perfect for ... 5'2" 118# frame. Planning to order a second color -- they are perfect for hot outdoor sports and so cute to boot!

Great Short for Mature Women Warriors
... shorts are great especially for those women warriors who are bit more mature than the Athleta models. I live in Texas were wicking is a must and wear the shorts for walking/jogging and ... really do the job. Length is great and the look just adds another dimension of fun

I've always worn NIKE running shorts, primarily because even though I am 5'8 and weigh 138 lbs. Love this!!
I have two of these tops now. Ubber comfy and looks awesome. Gives enough support to wear during regular activities and floor excercises. However, I'd need a sports bra under to run in it comfortably. Im 135lbs, 5'6'', and a full C cup and the Medium is perfect. Im super happy. Expensive, but worth it.

bought this as every day wear- the bra isn't supportive enough for sports - but it's SUPER CUTE. a lot of material around the waist but it wears nicely bunched up, could maybe be pulled down to be a tight fitting dress with leggings? the green is a great color. i love this shirt!

Lots of compliments
I got this top in black, and wouldn't mind buying more in other colors. I wore this over a sports bra and got lots of compliments at the health club. It's very flattering and form fitting, but the shirring covers up any perceived flaws around the belly and waist. It's snug enough so that you can keep it short at the waist or pull it down past your hips. It stays in place for yoga or running. It's very cute over the chaturanga shorts.

I am a very youthful 47 year old mother that when not following my son around to his sporting events I am off doing hot yoga or hiking, as well as socializing with the girls. I love ... can double as cute everyday casual ... work out ... top has an extremely flattering fit. Support is light, I do feel another level of support is needed, but the cute fit lends itself well to equally as bright sports bras for hot yoga or a strapless bra for casual every day use. Love this shirt in the beautiful deep blue, also have it in the lilac and can't wait for the green to come in!

Very nice top!
I bought this after reading glowing reviews. And I have to say it's a great top! The fabric is pleasingly soft and the draping is flattering. I'm normally a small or size 6 but preferred the size medium in this design. The size small clung too much at the waist and hip and therefore showed small bumps and creases of my yoga pants. (And I've got small hips!) I don't usually buy tops with a shelf bra since I wear a separate sports bra. But in this flowing design, it makes sense to have one for modesty during inversions -- it just feels more secure and stays in place. ***Am hoping they continue to make this style but in more colors. Would love to buy it in red, brown, and olive colors.

This is a beautiful top! Super soft material, flattering style and gorgeous bright color! This top is great for yoga or hiking (need a sports bra for support) but can be paired with jeans for a casual night out! I really hope athleta comes out with more, I really wanted to order another in a different color :-)

Really Comfortable Top
This top is really soft and wicks sweat nicely. I wear medium and this fits true to size. Also the top covers a sports bra nicely. The cut is semi fitted so you do have some extra room in the tummy area. The length is a little longer than I expected, but I still like it. I guess it would be good for yoga and some of the poses, but I use it mainly in the gym for high impact cardio workouts. I would reccommend this top.

Nice top
I am 5'10", 148 pounds and am a 36C. I bought this tank in a Medium. This fits semi fitted, just like it is labeled and is plenty long. I haven't washed it yet but plan to hang dry it so that it doesn't shrink. I've always been a little weirded out by shirts with internal bras but the internal bra feels comfortable and I don't require a sports bra underneath. The material is soft and this tank should be perfect for yoga.

great summer shirt
Bought this top for hot yoga, and wore it to assist in a class. By the end of the class I was reminded how much better black disguises sweat! I will love this top for a comfy, cool summer shirt, but not for hot yoga. The support liner is not enough to secure the girls, so wear a sports bra underneath. Great fit for long torsos.

Super Comfy
I've now purchased two of these tops and will likely purchase another in another color. The fabric is super soft and comfy, the fit is relaxed and breezy, and the support bra is adequate for light activity (I've thrown a sports bra underneath for more intense workouts). My only concern is that the fabric doesn't seem to hold up all that well after repeated washing (I can see the first one I bought starting to pill a bit), which is a bummer given that this is intended as workout gear and, as such, will be washed quite a bit. But, for an easy, casual top that is work appropriate, I totally love it.

soft and pretty top
After reading reviews of other customers, I bought a size extra small. I'm usually a size 4/6 but a 32D bra size, so it was a stretch to try an extra small workout top, but it works for me in this case so long as a I wear a sports bra underneath. But that's part of what I love about this top---my own racerback sports bras fit underneath the top to give me good support. I just so wish that Athleta would finally manage to get their sizes consistent---ordered everything from an extra small to a medium in this order, and some of each fit (and some that should of fit most definitely did not). Anyway, the fabric on this top is really soft and the purple color is not overly bright, so it looks great with blue, brown or black yoga pants. It's a keeper. Think I'll cross my fingers on sizing and order a couple of more in other colors.

BEST Tennis Top EVER!!!
I've been on a years long search for a good tennis top and finally found it! This top offers the perfect amount of support - I fully expected to have to wear a sports bra under it when I bought it (I'm between a D and DD) but, to my pleasant surprise, it keeps the 'girls' perfectly in their place. I'm not sure how it would be for something higher impact like running, but for tennis it is perfect. Even BETTER, the pockets have totally changed my life. I hated having to shove tennis balls into the shorts of my tennis skirts all the time and then take them out seconds later. It's just not a flattering guesture and is an annoyance to boot. Each pocket in the back of this shirt (there are 2) can hold an entire can of tennis balls. I'm the envy of everyone in my tennis clinic. I'm making them all buy one because they keep asking me to hold the balls. The only downside to this top is the price - ouch!

Best. Top. Ever. 3 Reasons
1. This top supports better than any sports bra I've ever had! Reviewers have noted that it is difficult to get on and off, but it's worth it since it holds everything in place so well. 2. Pockets in the back. Perfect for housekeys. 3. Great cut around the arms. Plenty of movement for sports like tennis or softball. I'll be purchasing more of these! I find it really helpful when people share their size, so for those of you who also find it helpful (5'1'', 125).

Great Top
The PR Tank is the best top I've purchased from Athleta. I took a chance and sized down and it paid off. The material is the perfect weight, the length is a perfect mid hip. I ordered the purple and the color is fabulous. I always wear a sports bra under all my tops so for me the support part doesn't matter that much. It's not low cut and has plenty of coverage. For size reference I'm 5'4 125# and a 32DD. Highly recommend.

Love this tank. Supportive for DD. I can wear this cycling because of the back pockets. I wear it to crossfit and I have plenty of support. For running I would wear a sports bra in addition.

Best new workout top I''ve bought recently
Great fabric, fits well. Not enough support by itself for me (34DD), but works well layered with another lightly supportive sports bra. The body is slightly fitted, but not tight or clingy. Other reviewers were enthusiastic about the pockets on the back. For me, they're too loose to depend on for my keys, iPhone, etc. during a workout or run.

Pleasantly Surprised
I love this top! I have struggled to find bra tops that work for me - not only from Athleta but from anywhere. I have a larger chest (34D) and especailly when doing inversions during yoga, comfortable coverage is an issue. I generally wear medium, size 8. I ordered both the medium and large to compare and the medium worked great. Not enough support for running, but that wasn't an expectation. Will stick to substantial sports bras for that level of activity. I also love the color - blue. Great job, Athleta!

Wanted to love this...
And wanted to keep it but I don't have enough boobage so I'm returning it :( I got the kelly green in a small and was hoping to use it for running and hiking. Gorgeous vibrant color and it fits OK except: 1- Top is not snug enough for high impact activities and 2- I need a little more to fill the mold cup. I usually wear 32B - C bras and sports bras so I thought it would fit. The little back pockets would have been good to hold a power gel or something but I wouldn't stash keys in it coz it's not secure and could slip out.

If this tank helps me GET a PR, it will be even better!
I bought the purple- great color! The selling points for me on this tank were the back pockets (an absolute MUST for endurance sports) and the availability in Tall (I am 5'8" 140lbs). The mesh panel in back is a nice bonus. I purchased it for running, and I am certain it will be worn on the bike, as well. It would also be an excellent choice for triathlon. I could see how a slightly less curvy athletic build may find the tank to be a little too big- I am in the Medium Tall and it is just on the OK end of sizing. If you are in between sizes, you may want to size down.

Great for triathlons!
I'm a six foot tall triathlete. I struggle to find tri tops that are long enough, and at 170 pounds (and after 3 large babies) I really do not like tri uniforms like our local club team has- they end up being crop top-ish on me and then I am not comfortable. I have to feel confident when I train and race, and this top is PERFECT for swimming, biking, and running! The two back pockets are big and angled; the top is very flattering and prettier than traditional tri tops. I paired it with my Orca tri shorts and hit the road yesterday for a test 18 mile bike followed by 1 mile run (then a half mile jog with my oldest child and the baby in the jog stroller). I will say that I have yet to test it in an open water swim (that will come on Tuesday) and my only concern is the bra area is not tight enough. When I am down in the aero bars, you defintely see straight down the cleavage (I may throw a sports bra on under it, but that would only be for looks, it was definitely supportive enough on the run and I'm a B/C) Otherwise, it was very comfy, no chafing, and the back pockets held my cell phone and gel pack nicely. It is PRETTY and it made me feel pretty! Highly recommend it!

Not the best for gals with DDs but otherwise a great top
I usually wear either a medium or large in Athleta tops and tried a large in this one because it has an internal bra and I need the extra room there (34DD). The chest fit okay but the waist was baggy - a medium may fit better except I expect the chest would be too small. And because the top wasn't designed for larger busts, if you fill out the top too much then it ends up pulling the fabric away from the armholes, revealing your sports bra on the sides (I'd definitely be wearing a sports bra underneath for support). I love the color (ordered green) and the back pockets, but had to return this one. I'll try it in a medium just in case! Verdict: Athleta, please design some sport tops for DDs like you have done so wonderfully in the swim suit line!

Can''t hide it in this shirt!
I am pleased with the PR Tank, got in in white and plan to get another color today. My only reccomendation is - make sure you aren't trying to hide anything in the abs region, because if you are this shirt isn't for you - form fitting tank is very flattering. The support is mimimual for me but there is just enough room to fit a sports bra underneath for some extra support. I am 5'3" 135 lbs 36C and the medium petite was perfect! Only complaint from me is the tank is sorta pricey for my taste.

yoga top
This is a perfect top for yoga, I wouldn't recommend it for running as their isn't a lot of support you would need to wear a sports bra too. However it was perfect for a hot yoga class. It didn't move around too much and covered all the right places.

Nice top
This top is comfortable, and good for doing yoga. I also like to wear it around for lounge wear too because it is comfortable across the shoulders and back -- not all sports tops are comfy for me in that area.

FINALLY enough support!
I had totally given up on bra tops for running, unless I also wore a sports bra underneath (I am a 34C, sometimes B). I put this top on, expecting it to be a yoga (i.e. low impact) top, but it felt really supportive. I tried it out for a short run, and I was really pleasantly surprised. This is the first shirt I've ever worn without a bra underneath for running! Plus it's cute. I actually ran and then went straight to yoga, and it was awesome. Very pleased, would highly recommend!

Amazing!
Absolutely LOVED this top! I was so surprised about the excellent quality of the top and the quality of the fabric. I usually wear a sports bra under tops like this, because I don't trust their sewn in bra support. BUT, this is the first top I wore and felt comfortable without wearing a sports bra in addition to the top. Even after a hard workout, it kept its shape perfectly!

Good design
I really like the cut of this shirt and the back of it especially. I would personally wear a sports bra underneath but I am also modest and 36 D or 34 C. For high impact sports I would wear bra underneath.

Nice First Athleta Bra Tank Purchase
I really like the fit and that the bra seems very supportive, going up high enough under the arms and on the chest (no peep shows but also it has a sexiness to it--its not an ugly high neck top). I actually bought these for just lounging around the house and sleeping--I don't consider myself very active. At 36DD I'm uncomfortable without a bra but don't like sleeping in underwire bras, so a supportive tank is great. In summer I wear them with shorts and in winter I wear sweats and a t shirt over it. The cheap camis weren't doing the trick as they stretch out so fast so I invested in 4 of these to go with pajamas. Only complaints are that the seams on the side around the tummy are a tad itchy, and the cross back straps always move really close to my neck, which I've always found uncomfortable, but I imagine thats what you get with a sports bra. I washed it gentle/cold and hung dry and so far so good. I never dry these fabrics. I could probably do a lighter workout in this even at my bra size, but not running. The regular length in this one is a little longer than some of the other bra tops (I looked up the lengths). I'm 5'8" with a longer torso and was happy with this length. A Medium was a perfect fit for me (145 lb, larger frame). With a 36DD the actual interior sport bra lines are a bit off (made for someone with a smaller cup size), but it fits fine. Still plenty of coverage with this style though (on other styles, not so much). On some of the ones where the regular length is shorter, I'd probably get a tall size. I really liked the bra fit in this one compared to the real built in bra ones (bought some and exchanged them). They were uncomfortable, difficult to put on, and I didn't find them any more supportive. The seams and general fit around the tummy (fitted but not tight) is very flattering if you have a bit of a tummy like me. A baggy top can make you look heavier but this was just right for me.

2nd times a charm
Ordered a medium based on the size charts, but it was too baggy around my middle. Reordered a small hoping it would still fit everywhere else & success! This even worked great at high impact without an extra sports bra underneath. Bonus that the back design made it easier to get in & out of too. Lastly, this was my 1st experience with an Athleta sports top & loved that the material didn't look like a wet rag when I was done working out.

Like it!
I really like this top, although I probably should have ordered an XS. I am 5' 4.5", have a small frame and weigh around 117. I don't like my tops too short or too tight, so I went with the small. It fits, but is a little loose. (I would still prefer it to be a little longer) I don't know why but I expected the "molded shaper self bra" to provide a little more coverage. I tried it on at home before wearing it to the gym, but wished I had worn a sports bra underneath it. Next time I will do so, which will also help since the top is a little big on me! Both problems solved! All that being said, this is a great quality product (like all Athleta clothing that I own) and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Cute Tank
I like this tank, it fits fairly well, the chest is a little snug yet there is room in the body of it so I didn't feel I could move up a size without swimming in it. I found it a little hard to get on, due to the inside bra support - this is my main recommendation to athleta, the bra support really doesn't work for larger breasted women, I find it only complicates matters more when trying to find nice workout tanks. My preference is no inner shelf bra - I prefer to wear my own sports bra. If you want to do inner shelf bras perhaps do them in tops for smaller breasted women and offer just the tank for larger breasted women, this is just my opinion.

Great color
The Berry color I ordered was gorgeous; however, the sizing was off with this one. I am usually an XS in Athleta tops and this one was rather loose in the waist and chest areas. Ended up returning it due to the loose fit. Also, don't plan on wearing a sports bra underneath or you'll see it through the back opening. Worn without a sports bra, the back looks nice.

More support than expected
I'm a 34DD, and very petite at 4'11". I bought a small. The fabric is thicker than I expected, which is good for modesty, but bad for the intended use (hot Bikram yoga). I end up rolling the shirt up to give my tummy some air (it's also VERY long on me). The built in bra is better than I expected. Perfect for yoga. Definitely was NOT enough support for my spinning class (bounce bounce bounce ow, and ew). Despite the "better than expected" support, ladies, if you're bigger chested like me, you WILL have cleavage, and plenty of it. I bet that "modest neckline" business only applies to average and small gals. I like the top, I'm keeping it for yoga (and maybe it'll be perfect when I try non hot yoga). I might try pairing it with a sports bra for spinning. But in general, the fit is nice and the support is good, and I bet for a more normal proportioned woman, it will be great. I'm giving it 3 stars because it wasn't great for me. Adequate.

Can''t get enough of these
I'm 5'6", weigh 115lbs, with an athletic build. I ordered these pants in black in size 0 and wore them a ton! They are stylish capris that can be used for hiking, commuter biking, and general hanging out. They are comfortable and versatile. Really, they are very cool! However, they shrunk gradually with each consecutive wash but because of the stretch, they still work. It's important to note that my weight did NOT change, nor did other ... change fit! I ordered a second pair in size 2 (first time ever with Athleta clothing), which are a little big, but I'm looking forward to them gradually shrinking as well...but I refuse to go up to a size 4!

Pants of all lengths cause the same fitting challenges for tall women (I'm 5'11" and 130 pounds), but most companies that offer long pants in tall sizes fail to provide that option for shorts and capris. Since you've expanded your selection, I've ordered several shorts and capris. These Commuter Capris are my favorites, so I had to get a second color. Finally found pants that fit.
I'm 5 ft. 6 in. and weigh 140. I bought a size 10. Like many women, I have what I call "waist, butt conflict". No matter how much weight I lose or how much I exercise, my waist is always one size smaller than my hind end. Because of this I have never purchased pants on line for fear of being dissapointed. I'm glad I took a chance on these -- they fit perfectly. I can adjust the waist -- and there is no "bunching" up when I do this. They're comfortable and length is perfect.

Great for biking to work
I've worn these capris twice now to commute by bike to work (18 miles round trip). The pants work really well for that purpose, and they seem to wick away sweat quickly. They also, for the most part, fit very well. I'm 5'8" and 155 lbs, and I ordered an 8. When I tried them on, my girlfriend said, "They fit you like they have been tailored for you! You should buy another color." What she didn't see was that they fit a tad bit tightly in the waist, although this is likely due to 1) vacation weight gain :) and 2) I carry my weight in my belly more than most women do. Since they are a tad bit snug in the waist (but fit perfectly elsewhere), the ties in the waistband are superfluous and occasionally annoying. I can see how they would be helpful, though for women with a much smaller waist (some of whom have also written reviews). Overall, they are a nice pair of capris that I can bike to work in, and they don't look like workout pants.

I'm very looking forward to wearing these capris. I've only just tried them on & I love the fit. Hoping for some warm luscious weather here in upstate NY to give them a ride. The many pockets are a real plus for active sports.

Vanity sizing out of control
Based on previous reviews, I ordered a 2, I'm a 4 in every other brand of clothing I own, and these were still way too big. Very disappointed. My only positive thing to say is that the Gray color was nice.

Love the Dipper shorts
This is my fifth pair of the 12 inch dipper shorts. Three in a size 12 and now, because I have lost weight and inches, two in a 10. I am 61 years old and distance ride a recumbent touring cycle. The dipper shorts are perfect for this sport. Wick moisture quickly, look great and function as well off the bike as on.

I teach kindergarten and I need appropriate clothing th tlooks nice and is comfortable for sitting on the floor and playing with children. Also clothing that cleans easily. These shorts fit the bill.

Another Happy Dipper Short-Wearer
So much has been written about these so I'll keep it short (pun intended). Loved the proportioned tall pants so I tried the shorts. Bought 2 and they are great. Long enough for us tall women, stretchy enough to feel great moving/sitting. Enough pockets for touring. The draw string helps the waist fit well.

Perfect Golf Short
I'm 5/4", so the short runs long enough to cover the tops of my knees and has enough pockets to hold tees, markers, ... The material does stretch out throughout the day, so the draw string comes in handy. In Athleta bottoms, I always go up a size compared to my other clothing... this way the waist tends to be bigger but everywhere else fits better. Simply wash and hang out, then they look like new again!

once again...too big
These are darling shorts and I love them...but they are TOO BIG. Im not sure if this sizing issue is intended to make us feel good like we are SMALLER than we actually ARE- therefor making us want to buy more ... would love it if the clothing were sized properly. Athleta clothing is quality clothing. HOWEVER- I get sick of returing everything due to the sizing issues. I am 5'7" and 118 lbs.I bought these shorts in a 4 and have returned them for a 2. Im keeping my fingers crossed...

For apples not pears
I am 5'8" about 138lbs. I am not fat, but muscular, and I am active. These pants were made of a great fabric, stretchy and strong, I just wish they would have fit. My experience in trying two different style shorts in a medium was that they were for apple shaped women with thinner thighs and maybe a larger waist. I have a friend who wears Athleta shorts and they look fabulous on her, but she is straight legged with thin hips and thighs. I just wish Athleta would make a different cut for us pear shaped girls.

Really wanted to love ''em...
Great color, nice fabric, well made...I SO wanted these to fit me properly! However, as with many Athleta bottoms, they just didn't work on me. I usually wear a 6 in pants/shorts and am 5'6" tall. ... size 6 in the Dipper Shorts was a bit snug in the hip and WAY, WAY too big in the waist! I thought that since this style had been "re vamped" a while ago, that maybe they would fit better than the Dipper Pant I tried a couple of years ago. Sorry to say, they got shipped back. It seems that many of Athleta's bottoms are constructed for women with smaller hips and larger waists than I may ever have.

Not for small framed women (either)
The fabric and feel of these shorts, are okay. I ordered 2 different sizes in these and both were too big. But I am afraid to go down a size thinking it is really more the cut amd styling that isnt right for me. The shorts are very boxy and large (wide) in the legs and the slightly stiff fabric just emphasizes this. Definetely not for someone with a petite frame (not just necessarily short). I am returning my size 2 and 4's. Bummer cause the on sale price was right for the quality.

Too small
I wear a 16, (though ideally I should wear a 12 or 14). It's difficult to find clothing in my size that is designed for actual physical activity (which I need more of in my life), so I was pleased to see that these were offered in a 16. Unfortunately, they were sized more like a 14. I will be sending them back.

Love this skort for exercising!
The Second Wind Skort is perfect for your work outs! I have never used a skort to work out in before but I have now fallen in love with it! I have a friend who told me to try it and now I'm completely in debt to her for it. It's so comfortable! I never have to worry about it riding up while I'm working out. I use it for doing Zumba, hula hooping and playing in coed and women's rec league volleyball. There's nothing more comfortable to play in! Thanks Athleta for once again providing work out gear that is cute and comfortable to be active in!

A gem!
This skirt is so great, both in terms of form and function! Let's start with aesthetics. The A line cut is adorable and would flatter any body. The pleating gives this skort a girly vibe, but the minimalism of the pleats, coupled with the neat contrast stitch details keeps the look very modern. Now for function: my two favorite features of this skort are the range of movement it allows and ... the incredible BREATHABILITY! The skirt portion of this garment as well as the little compression shorts underneath are made of different, but equally well chosen and lightweight materials. The skirt is thick enough to be durable, and yet it whirls when in motion, airing out the skin underneath. Since the skirt overlays the shorts and thus gives ample coverage, the shorts are crafted from the airiest of athletic fabrics. As someone who sweats a lot, I cannot say how fabulous this feature is. I can perform a full range of movements while getting plenty of breeze circulated to my lower body, and without worrying about anybody on the court, on the street, or in the gym catching a glimpse of my more private parts. That brings me to my next happy discovery, i.e., the versatility of this skort. I bought it for tennis, but it has become my go to item for anything I would normally wear athletic shorts for: tennis, walking/running outside, hiking (with enough bug spray and in a no tic area), in the-gym cardio, and even some in the-gym strength training, if you're the type who can do without compression shorts/pants on some days. It would also be a great staple for casual team sports events, like a friendly ultimate frisbee or volleyball game. I did find this skort to run a little big. I normally wear an XS, and I'm going to keep the size I got, although if I buy again (likely!), I will probably size down to XXS. The skort was mostly too loose in the waist/hips, but the drawstring allows me to wear the XS comfortably without fear of sagging or unintended mooning. This skort hits at a really nice place for me, a little bellow mid thigh, however that said, I am quite short (5'0"), so it may be too short for taller ladies. Okay, just one more hurrah, I promise: absolutely no chaffing! Have fun with this gem, ladies :-)

My favorite!
I absolutely love this skort. It is by far the most comfortable article of clothing i have. i bought both the xs and s. the xsmall fits perfectly. (i'm 114 and 5'4) i'm wearing it to chase after my two toddlers, but it would be perfect for running.

Flattering and great for golf too!

These ... made for me and my lifestyle. Back to the skort. So cute, and so great for wearing everywhere. I do not wear it running, I am not a skirt runner. However, I bought it for golf, because most golf clothing out there is not very flattering, cute, or comfortable. This skort is all of the above! Put it in your golf section too! I wear it for everyday activities too!

Grass Court Nationals
Mandatory all white dress attire. Looking for a skirt that I could wear in tennis competition with built in short for butt coverage and a place to tuck at least one tennis ball. These skirts are made for athletes unlike tennis brands that are made for models. Look forward to looking good and feeling comfortable at National 45's women competition.

Better than I expected
I was hesitant ordering this skirt due to the pleats, but I love it and will be ordering another one of them. I am 5'10", 155# and very curvy and usually pleats only accentuate my curves (in a bad way), but not with the skirt. The next thing that made me hesitant is the flippy ness of it. I was surprised how light it was, yet gave me total coverage in my rear. I ordered a medium and it was a little on the loose side, but thanks to a drawstring, it will work. The shorts underneath rode up a little bit, but not enough to complain about. I am considering this skirt for more coverage with water sports. I ordered three different skirts and this was my favorite of the three.

Great skort for moving
I saw a running skirt last year and finally bought one for Zumba; I get very warm and don't like to feel my clothing sticking to me. This skort was great! It stayed in place, no tugging, and it felt very lightweight. Now I can't wait for the snow to go away so that I can run outside. Great skort and great investment- washed well too.

Nice Running Skirt
I only wear running skirts to run in and have done so for more than three years now. I'm a 5'5", 135 about to be fifty woman and having something nice yet functional is important to me. It's a really cute skirt and I enjoy wearing it. Love the pleats as they add an interesting feature to the front. I'm pretty true to the size 8 and wear that size in most of my clothing. Occasionally I wear a 6 in skirts. I found the waist to be a little tighter than I would have liked but overall the fit was good. Liked the shorts underneath as they do not ride up which is important to me for comfortable running. I wish they had this skirt in more colors like bright blue and green.

Skort is perfect for warm activity sports. Material is very light weight, quick drying, and seems a little water repellent. Looks great, too.

I was so happy when I tried on this skirt; it looked even better on than in the pics. Got lots of compliments at the gym. I'm 5'7", 123 lb and I ordered XS - perfect fit. However, the minute I began running, I had to wonder if the designers even put these ... test? The mesh shorts rode straight up my thighs; I may as well have been wearing briefs underneath. I have NEVER been as irritated throughout a workout by a piece of clothing as I was with this skort. I love the style so much, though, that I think I'm going to try to dab a little silicone around the inner hem of the shorts and see if it will give it a little more grip. I expect shorts to ride up a little, but this was ridiculous. If it hadn't been for the shorts, this skort would have been a 5-star, without a doubt.

I use these as biking pants, being from the rainy northwest. They're great for cooler climates and rain, are comfy, and functional. I haven't used them yet for winter sports; but for fall and spring snow, I think they'll be perfect!

Great pant - tip on size
My body shape is tall, small waist, ample booty. These pants have a great styling for my shape. Quality material and stitching. It is on the thicker side, however, so it works best for cold weather running or winter sports (snowshoeing for example). On size, I followed the guide and purchased a Medium tall. However, I am finding they are a little loose - I wanted more compression. I would have gone with a small tall or medium regular.

Great pants - no cramping around the waist
My chronic issue with running leggings is that they are so dang tight around the waist. Not these guys. All the tightness is in the legs, but it's actually loose around the waist, so it feels really good. I went running in them the other day and felt both cute and comfy - which is a rarity for me when it comes to exercise clothing! Really, really recommend these leggings to anyone. But I do recommend ordering a size bigger - I am a size 4 and I love my Mediums.

I love my new tights. They are a little higher than I prefer, but they roll down really easily and stay put. The higher rise is nice for some stomach compression when trying to keep a streamlined appearance. ;) The smalls work great for me, but they could be a tiny bit longer. It doesn't bother me but for tall women with long legs, they could be too short. I am 5'8", 155lbs, althetic build and size 6/8. I think a medium would have been too loose for running and may slide down. They are very flattering, even with a booty.

This is my first purchase with Athleta and I'm happy to say it will be the first of MANY. Ordering on line always makes me a bit nervous, "Ey dios, what if it doesn't fit. Then I have to return it thru the mail, it’ll be a hassle." You know the standard worries. Let me just start my saying, I'm 33 years old and six feet tall my lifelong fallback has been men’s running gear which never fits well. I have a real woman's body hips, butt, thighs there is some meat on this frame okay girlfriend. [...] when I put these pants on they felt like a second skin. Loved it! The rise was just right not to droopy... I hate that rubbing between my legs. The waist was spot on for me as well ... it has a drawstring to keep things in place no embarrassing "peek a-boo" hinney crack here. Finally, I looked down to see *gasp* a completely covered ankle. Santa Maria!The topper, I knew I had a great pair of workout pants when my brother who is six foot one tried to wear them, without my knowledge, (we do that) for one of his long distance runs. LOL! But they’re designed for women honey and there wasn't enough room for his uhhh "dedicates." I highly recommend!

Great yoga ... woman with a c or d cup
love this ... straps disperse the weighth of a larger chest so there is no tension in your shoulders or neck. Great support for yoga, biking, and tennis. I would need more support to run with ... 34d chest, ... smaller women could see it working then too.

Super ...
I bought this in one of the sale summer colors along with the capris and it is definitely a keeper. I am 5'5", 128 pounds and a 34D. I bought a medium. MAYBE could have gotten away with a small and had a little more chest support that way? ... medium is fine. I can wear it biking, walking...not enough support for running or more involved cardio. It promises "medium" support and that is exactly what it delivers. I wear a sport bra of similar colors underneath when I'm more active and I think it looks cute. The fit is very flattering. I tried on a similar C9/Champion ... know...I know...discount store...totally different price point) and I had fat bulging out of places I didn't know existed! Just saying that you get what you pay for! And this ... worth it!

LOVE THIS ...
I read all the review on this ... before ordering and everyone recommended going down a ... ran large. I'm 5'3" and 110 lbs and I don't like ... tops super tight. I would normally order a medium ... ordered a small because of the reviews. It was like a second skin! Horribly tight. I returned for a medium and it's perfect! I love this ... either remove the pads before washing or tack them in as suggested in other reviews. Its nice to not have to worry about wearing a sports bra as the pads take care of any coverage needed. Not enough support for aerobic activity, ... perfect for yoga. And the back is super cute!

... favorite Athleta ...
This ... just so pretty and fits so well. It follows your curves without being binding and it looser around the waist so doesn't ride up. I will say it might be small for big busted women. I am 5'7" and weigh 140 and wear a small. However, I am a 34B and it is snug, so if I was bigger it would be too tight. For me though - it is perfect!

Awesome tank ....
Just a little more snug than what I'm comfortable with, ... after I wear this thing out a little more, it will stretch just enough for me to feel totally comfortable in it. I tend to wear extra large clothing; I am athletically cut and not tone, ... few pounds overweight. I have a 38/40 D DD chest ... internal shelf bra fits great for either low impact physical activity or a night out on the town club dancing. I just wish the mid section was a tiny bit more loose, ... again, this is one of ... favorite tops, so I know in time it will stretch to perfect fit! :-)

Love this ... only ... have ever found that I could wear without a ... bra. I am a 32DD and this is a great accomplishment... LOVE IT!!

Easy to move
I wanted some tank style tops to wear to workout classes as t shirts keep me too hot and this style is very comfortable and attractive. I liked not having to wear a separate sports bra and the removable pads are a good idea for modesty. I think this ... accentuates ... toned arms and shoulders and makes them look better plus it is not restrictive or binding for exercise of any type. I also like to wear a little color instead of everything black.

Finally a top that stays down!
I can't tell you how many yoga tops I have given away because ... were too short, too skimpy, rolled up, scooted up, or didn't hold ... girls in a downward dog. This top, in Tall, is perfect for ... long torso. It stays in place without binding anywhere. The bust support and coverage are good enough that i don't need to layer it with a sports bra. Now if Athleta would only carry more sports tops in Tall....hint?

Good ... not for running
I poured through the reviews to decide if this ... would be supportive enough for running. I read mixed reviews and really could not find anyone that seemed about ... commented on the running/support aspect. I was also torn about the ... reviews helped with that. It helped me when people gave specifics so I will do that. I wanted the ... "wear alone" tank for running. I am 5'6" tall, 130 lbs, and a 34C (small C). I went with the Small ... even though I generally wear Med. in Nike and most others. The Small was the right ... except it is a little snug through the torso. ... said, I have a very "boy" shaped body with no waist so I think that part is just ... body shape. The Med. would have been too loose in the chest. I will wear it alone for yoga and other workouts ... definately NOT supportive enough for running if you are C cup or above. I had to wear another sports bra under. Otherwise it is a great ... back is nice and does accentuate the back muscles. I also took 15 min. to sew in the pads (after reading all the reviews) . Washed it a few times so far and that seems to work. Also, it is really not that low cut, I felt comfortable in it when wearing it alone and I am somewhat modest in showing cleavage.

Great if you are a girl, NOT a woman
I am one of those unfortunate tall women who is forced to hunt for clothing that is long enough for ... torso (5'11"). I had hoped this might work. When I tried it on, I felt like a sausage squished into too tight of a wrapping. I have a bust and a few extra pounds. I suppose if you are a skiinny little thing, it might fit right. I did love the color and it might've even had almost enough support. ... tight, tight, tight--even in the Tall XL. Sent it back.

Great Skort
I don't often comment on clothing but these skorts are the best I've ever purchased. They fit perfect on my 5' 2", 155 lb, short and thick waisted frame. I bought the large and the length is perfect. They are actually slimming and superbly comfortable. Athleta, please continue to make these skorts and in different colors. I missed out on white this year. Would love to see a dark berry, brown and a nice pink color in addition to the colors already available.

Love this skort! I bought several of them, as I can see I'll be wearing them a lot. The fabric is perfect, slightly stretchy and substantial enough that it hangs nicely and is practically wrinkle free. It's not that nylony fabric you see in a lot of sport skorts, this looks dressy enough to wear anywhere. That said, I don't plan to wear these to the gym, they are a little long for that - although those that like a little more coverage than the usual skimpy skort might find it just right. I don't play tennis but can imagine these would work nicely for that. If I had one complaint, it would be the pocket. I understand it's purpose is to hold tennis balls, so it's far down the side seam and points backwards. It's nice to have a pocket, but since I use these for everyday wear rather than tennis I'd prefer a different pocket design. Minor issue, and didn't stop me from buying more of these skorts in different colors.

I'm very happy with this sport skort. I wanted something for fitness walking that wasn't too revealing or clingy, yet would be cool. This skort was perfect. I'll definitely purchase more in the future.

Really, really comfortable skort for working out & running around town on a hot summer day. Cool for those hikes on hot, humid days - I just can't recommend this piece more! I hope Athleta always makes this available...

i love this skort. i have solids and a pattern from last year. very comfy for an active gal, no worries about showing too much with the built in stretchy undershorts. not bulky at all. not too short, not too long, my favorite go to piece of clothing.

Love Them!!
I saw this in the catalog last year and was too late to order them in my size. Wasn't going to let that happen again to me. I recently received the skort and I have to say I L O V E them. I ordered the Sweet Sport Skort in Asphalt and you can do anything and everything in them. The color is a good basic color. I puchased my size in long and it is an age appropriate length for an older individual, not too short. I am thinking that I should pick up a couple more in different colors, as this may be my go to short/skirt - skort!

Just too long if you''re short!!
I wanted to love these judging by the comments and they were just too long for 5"3" me. I didn't want to send back because I love the quality of Athleta clothing so I tried to shrink them. Good news, Athleta ... don't shrink but didn't help here. I will have to have them hemmed but know they will last for years to come!!
